- G-001 PER-CARD VARIABLE PRINT RUN, held fact the schema cannot carry. tcdb sid 192220 renders TWO distinct serial tokens across its 60 rows - SN149 on the majority and SN75 on a minority whose named rows include Larry Bird, LeBron James, Scottie Pippen, Kevin Garnett, Karl Malone, Vince Carter, Yao Ming, Pau Gasol, Anthony Davis, Dwyane Wade and John Wall (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/192220/2018-19-Panini-Absolute-Memorabilia-Established-Threads-Level-2). The tier is PROVABLY serial numbered, but EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.3 records that the schema cannot express serial_numbered=yes with print_run=UNKNOWN, so both columns are written UNKNOWN. The modal token 149 was deliberately not written as a flat run. Needs a print_run_basis column, or permission to pair serial_numbered=yes with print_run=UNKNOWN, before it can be expressed.
- G-002 PER-CARD VARIABLE PRINT RUN, same shape as G-001. tcdb sid 192221 renders SN75 on the majority of its 60 rows and SN49 on a minority (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/192221/2018-19-Panini-Absolute-Memorabilia-Established-Threads-Level-3). Written UNKNOWN/UNKNOWN; the modal token 75 was deliberately not written as a flat run.
- G-003 PER-CARD VARIABLE PRINT RUN, same shape as G-001. tcdb sid 192226 renders SN25 on 16 of its 21 rows and SN15 on 5 (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/192226/2018-19-Panini-Absolute-Memorabilia-Hoopla-Signatures-Level-2). Written UNKNOWN/UNKNOWN; the modal token 25 was deliberately not written as a flat run.
- G-004 A SOURCED EDITORIAL PRINT RUN IS REFUTED BY THE PRODUCT ITSELF, and sets.csv has no column to hold either value. cardboardconnection states 'Established Threads (60 cards, #/199)' (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2018-19-panini-absolute-memorabilia-basketball-cards), a flat run. tcdb sid 192219 renders TWO distinct tokens across the 60 rows, SN199 on most and SN99 on a minority (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/192219/2018-19-Panini-Absolute-Memorabilia-Established-Threads). Two independent marketplace listings carrying the card in hand confirm both values exist: comc renders '2018-19 Panini Absolute Memorabilia - Established Threads #ET-DGN - Draymond Green /199' (https://www.comc.com/Cards/Basketball/2018-19/Panini_Absolute_Memorabilia_-_Established_Threads/ET-DGN/Draymond_Green/13800529, title read from a search result; the card page itself returned HTTP 403 to this environment and was not opened) and myballcards renders '2018-19 Absolute Memorabilia Established Threads #ET-SPN Scottie Pippen Bulls 47/99' (search-result title; the page is robots-disallowed to this environment and was not opened). Both quotes are therefore SEARCH-RESULT TITLES, not fetched listing pages - CHASE_CHECKLIST_SPEC warns explicitly that a search-engine result title is not the listing, so treat them as corroboration of the two-value pattern rather than as verified card data. The tcdb finding stands on its own. No value written; EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.2 forbids putting a print run in card_count.
- G-005 PER-CARD VARIABLE PRINT RUN on the set's base tier, unwritable in sets.csv. tcdb sid 192225 renders SN125 on 17 of 21 rows and SN20 on 4 - HS-CB Charles Barkley, HS-DL Damian Lillard, HS-DR David Robinson, HS-GA Giannis Antetokounmpo (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/192225/2018-19-Panini-Absolute-Memorabilia-Hoopla-Signatures). cardboardconnection states no print run for this set. Recorded in the set's notes in words. Separately, tcdb renders the code HS-BB on two different players (Bruce Brown, Bruce Bowen); that is an initials collision of the kind CHASE_CHECKLIST_SPEC says is usually real, and it is left for the card-level pass.
- G-006 PER-CARD VARIABLE PRINT RUN on the set's base tier, unwritable in sets.csv. tcdb sid 192231 renders SN99 on 30 of 32 rows and SN49 on 2 - LS-DAY Deandre Ayton and LS-JJJ Jaren Jackson Jr. (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/192231/2018-19-Panini-Absolute-Memorabilia-Limitless-Signatures). No editorial source states a print run for this set.
- G-007 PER-CARD VARIABLE PRINT RUN on the set's base tier, unwritable in sets.csv. tcdb sid 192241 renders SN75 on the majority of its 35 rows and SN49 on a minority whose named rows include Avery Bradley, Al Horford, Derrick Favors, Dion Waiters, Eric Bledsoe, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Nikola Mirotic and Tyson Chandler (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/192241/2018-19-Panini-Absolute-Memorabilia-Present-Autographs). No editorial source states a print run for this set.
- G-008 CARD COUNT CONTESTED THREE WAYS AND RESOLVED TO 10 ON FIRST-PARTY EVIDENCE. cardboardconnection states '10th Anniversary Autograph (8 cards, #/20)' (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2018-19-panini-absolute-memorabilia-basketball-cards); tcdb's own page for the base tier renders 9 rows under a self-consistent header 'Total Cards: 9' with AA-SC Stephen Curry absent (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/192209/2018-19-Panini-Absolute-Memorabilia-10th-Anniversary-Auto); tcdb's Level 2, 3, 4 and 5 pages each render 10 rows INCLUDING AA-SC; and Panini America's own post names exactly ten signers with 'versions numbered to 20, 15, 10, five and one for each player' (https://blog.paniniamerica.net/2018/11/27/the-panini-america-quality-control-gallery-2018-19-absolute-memorabilia-basketball). 10 written. A self-consistent tcdb header is only evidence that tcdb is internally consistent, so the base tier is read as one card short rather than as a genuinely smaller tier. Not re-fetched against a third catalogue; beckett.com is unreachable.
- G-009 CARD COUNT CONTESTED 3-3 AND UNRESOLVED; 29 written on the set's own page. For 29: tcdb's base page (header 'Total Cards: 29', 29 rows rendered, https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/192236/2018-19-Panini-Absolute-Memorabilia-Past-Autographs), its Level 2 page and its Level 4 page. For 30: tcdb's Level 3 and Level 5 pages, and cardboardconnection's 'Past Autographs (30 cards)' (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2018-19-panini-absolute-memorabilia-basketball-cards). Tier sizes demonstrably vary inside this product - Established Threads Level 4 renders 49 against 60 on its four sibling tiers - so a larger Level page is not by itself evidence that the base tier is short. A third structural source would settle it; beckett.com is unreachable.
- G-010 CARD COUNT CONTESTED; 29 written. tcdb's base page and its Level 2, 3 and 4 pages each render 29 rows under 'Total Cards: 29' (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/192261/2018-19-Panini-Absolute-Memorabilia-Tools-of-the-Trade-Six-Swatch-Signatures); its Level 5 page renders 30, and cardboardconnection states 30 cards for each Tools of the Trade variation. Separately, tcdb carries a UER on this set: the code T6-WCJ is rendered on both Wendell Carter Jr. and Collin Sexton with the annotation that the second should read T6-CSX. Card-level rows are out of scope for this pass; recorded so a later pass does not read it as a transcription error and 'repair' it.
- G-011 CARD COUNT CONTESTED; 29 written. tcdb's base page renders 29 rows under 'Total Cards: 29' (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/192266/2018-19-Panini-Absolute-Memorabilia-Tools-of-the-Trade-Three-Swatch-Signatures) while all four of its Level pages render 30 and cardboardconnection states 30. This is the weakest of the three card-count calls in this release - the evidence is 5-1 against the value written - and it is written 29 only because tier sizes demonstrably vary inside this product and the set's own page is the set's own page. A reviewer may reasonably reverse it.
- G-012 TIER SIZE VARIES WITHIN A LADDER AND parallels.csv CANNOT SAY SO. tcdb sid 192222 renders 49 rows under a header 'Total Cards: 49' while its four sibling tiers (base, Level 2, Level 3, Level 5) each render 60. Confirmed under a second differently-parameterised URL, ?sort=0 (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/192222/2018-19-Panini-Absolute-Memorabilia-Established-Threads-Level-4?sort=0). parallels.csv has no card_count column, so a consumer reading the ladder will assume all five tiers cover the same 60 cards. Carried in visual_notes and here. This fact is also the reason several card_count calls in this release refuse to let a larger Level page override a set's own base page.
- G-013 base_print_run='unnumbered' with basis 'assumed', not 'sourced'. NO source consulted states in words that the base cards carry no serial numbering. What exists is a WITHIN-PRODUCT POSITIVE DISCRIMINATIVE TEST, the strongest form available: the same tcdb renderers that print SN10 on every one of the 100 rows of the 10th Anniversary base parallel and SN7 on every one of the 100 rows of Maroon print NO serial token on any of the 100 base rows, and that was checked on BOTH endpoints across the whole run - Checklist.cfm rows 1-78 (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/186985/2018-19-Panini-Absolute-Memorabilia) and Gallery.cfm PageIndex=1..10 under ?sort=0. Panini America describes the base cards as 'slabbed and "Uncirculated"' with no numbering claim (https://blog.paniniamerica.net/2018/11/27/the-panini-america-quality-control-gallery-2018-19-absolute-memorabilia-basketball). Per EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.1 that is strong indirect evidence and therefore 'assumed'; reserve 'sourced' for a source that says so in words.
- G-014 PRINT RUN UNSTATED AND SERIAL NUMBERING NOT EVIDENCED EITHER WAY IN THE USUAL SENSE. tcdb sid 192224 renders all 25 rows with NO flag token of any kind, on two differently-varied endpoints - Checklist.cfm (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/192224/2018-19-Panini-Absolute-Memorabilia-Glass) and ViewSet.cfm (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/192224/2018-19-Panini-Absolute-Memorabilia-Glass) - which satisfies the two-endpoint rule for an absence. No source states a print run. The set is a REDEMPTION and a stated case hit per Panini America: 'The rare Glass redemption insert is also back as a one-per-case chase.' (https://blog.paniniamerica.net/2018/11/27/the-panini-america-quality-control-gallery-2018-19-absolute-memorabilia-basketball). sets.csv has no print_run column, so nothing about numbering is asserted for this set in the data; only the odds are.
- G-015 NO CLAIM IS MADE THAT THIS RELEASE HAS NO VARIATION SET, and Errors.cfm was deliberately NOT used to make one. reference/caveats.csv CAV-020 records that Errors.cfm returns 'No errors or variations have been added for this set yet.' on sets that provably carry UER rows, so its silence discriminates nothing. What IS established here rests on independent contiguous enumeration: the base run is 1-100 with no holes, read twice on two endpoints, the last Gallery page ends at 100 and no page 11 link exists. A b-suffixed variation row is not something a base-run enumeration is designed to surface, so the existence of a variation set is UNRESOLVED, not disproved. Note the release DOES contain at least one tcdb UER, on Tools of the Trade - Six Swatch Signatures (G-010), found on an ordinary set page rather than via Errors.cfm.
- G-016 CHANNEL IS 'hobby' ON ALL 50 PARALLEL ROWS WITH basis='sourced-presence', AND NO SOURCE STATES TIER-LEVEL EXCLUSIVITY. The citation is Panini America's own product post: 'On average, each hobby box of the product (three cards per pack, two packs per box, 10 boxes per case) will deliver two autographs, two memorabilia cards, and two slabbed and "Uncirculated" base cards (one rookie, one veteran).' (https://blog.paniniamerica.net/2018/11/27/the-panini-america-quality-control-gallery-2018-19-absolute-memorabilia-basketball), which is a first-party statement that base cards, autographs and memorabilia cards alike come out of a hobby box, so it covers base-set scope and set scope alike. Corroborated by cardboardconnection's '2018-19 Panini Absolute Memorabilia Basketball Hobby Box Break Average' heading and 'Each hobby box is slated to have: 2 Autographs and 2 Relics' (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2018-19-panini-absolute-memorabilia-basketball-cards), and by Steel City Collectibles' product title '2018-19 Panini Absolute Memorabilia Basketball Hobby Box' with '3 cards per pack. 2 packs per box.' (https://www.steelcitycollectibles.com/i/2018-19-panini-absolute-memorabilia-basketball-hobby-box). NO source consulted mentions a retail, blaster or other format for this product in 2018-19, and cardboardconnection lists exactly one Product Configuration - but that is an ABSENCE, not a statement, so 'sourced-exclusive' was NOT written. Note the contrast with the 2019-20 sibling, where cardboardconnection explicitly says 'there is a retail format with an exclusive version' and data/absolute-bkb-2019-20/parallels.csv accordingly carries a base 'Retail' parallel. 2018-19 has no such parallel on tcdb or anywhere else consulted.
- G-017 BECKETT IS UNREACHABLE AND SEVERAL VALUES MAY REST ON ONE OPINION COUNTED TWICE. beckett.com has 302'd to maintenance.beckett.com for every build in this pass, so the usual third structural source is absent; a beckett article for this product exists by title ('2018-19 Panini Absolute Memorabilia Basketball Checklist, Team Set Lists and Details') and could not be opened. That leaves tcdb plus cardboardconnection as the structural pair on set names and counts, and EXTRACTION_SPEC 5.4 warns that cardboardconnection and checklistcenter copy each other. checklistcenter's page for this product (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2018-19-panini-absolute-memorabilia-nba-basketball/) returned a server error to this environment and was not read, so no third catalogue was obtained at all. WHAT IS NOT AFFECTED: the base checklist, base_set_size and every parallel print run, which were read off tcdb directly, row by row, on two endpoints. WHAT IS AFFECTED: the set inventory being complete, and the contested card counts in G-008 through G-011.
- G-018 THE BASE-PARALLEL INVENTORY OF TWO RESTS ON TWO SOURCES THAT MAY BE INDEPENDENT AND MAY NOT. tcdb's Inserts.cfm heads its section 'Parallel Sets (2)' and lists exactly 10th Anniversary (192207) and Maroon (192208) (https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/186985/2018-19-Panini-Absolute-Memorabilia); cardboardconnection's base-set line reads 'PARALLEL CARDS: 10th Anniversary #/10, Maroon #/7' (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2018-19-panini-absolute-memorabilia-basketball-cards). Panini America's own post mentions neither. EXTRACTION_SPEC warns that a section header's COUNT is not a scope guarantee and that base parallels can sit outside Inserts.cfm's scope entirely, so the sid block was enumerated independently instead: sids 192207-192270 were opened ONE BY ONE, all 64 of them, every one returning a 2018-19 Panini Absolute Memorabilia page, and BOTH boundaries were proved foreign - 192206 renders '2018 Topps UFC Museum Collection - Museum Framed Autograph Relic' and 192271 renders '1996 FPG Janny Wurts - Metallic Storm set'. Nothing is hiding inside or immediately outside that block. What is NOT excluded is a base parallel tcdb files elsewhere entirely, as it does for Hoops Winter.
- G-019 SET NAMES DIVERGE ACROSS SEASONS OF THIS LINE AND A NAME-KEYED RESOLVER WILL MISS. This release's sets.csv uses the names its sources print: the base tier of each ladder carries NO 'Level 1' suffix ('Established Threads', 'Rookie Threads', 'Limitless Signatures'), and the three swatch sets carry a hyphen ('Tools of the Trade - Four Swatch Signatures'). The catalogue's own data/absolute-bkb-2019-20/sets.csv and data/absolute-bkb-2020-21/sets.csv both use 'Established Threads Level 1', 'Rookie Threads Level 1' and 'Tools of the Trade Four Swatch Signatures' with no hyphen. Nothing was renamed here - EXTRACTION_SPEC forbids it and says to prefer the source's own form - but the divergence is real and is recorded so a cross-season resolver is not built on the assumption that these strings match.
- G-020 STRUCTURAL REVERSAL AGAINST THE IMMEDIATELY ADJACENT SEASON, recorded as a finding rather than smoothed over. data/absolute-bkb-2019-20/parallels.csv carries EIGHT base-set parallels forming a colour ladder - Retail unnumbered, Red /199, Blue /99, Orange /75, Purple /25, Gold /10, Green /5, Black /1. This release has TWO, neither of which is a colour and neither of which exists in 2019-20: 10th Anniversary /10 and Maroon /7. There is no Retail parallel and no colour ladder at all. The insert inventory is likewise almost disjoint: 2018-19's 10th Anniversary Auto, Draft Day Ink, Hoopla Signatures, Ink and Leather, Past Autographs and Present Autographs have no 2019-20 counterpart, and 2019-20's Future Signatures, Retired Autographs, Veteran Autographs, Rookie Autographs Variation, Rookie Laundry Tag, Rookies Yellow, Jumbo Basketball Spalding Name, Jumbo Hat Team Logo and Veteran Tools of the Trade have none here. Only Glass, Limitless Signatures, Established Threads, Rookie Threads, Rookie Autographs and the three Tools of the Trade sets span both. Nothing about this line's shape may be carried across a season boundary.
- G-021 THE 2018-19 SCOPE MEMO IS STALE ON THIS LINE AND A LATER READER COULD MINT A DUPLICATE BRAND FROM IT. specs/2018-19_SCOPE_MEMO.md lists 'Panini Absolute Memorabilia' in a table headed 'No brands.csv row (11)'. reference/brands.csv line 35 carries brd_01M2B8M6BJKF4BVCZ1A77FRZ1Z / Absolute Memorabilia / absolute / Panini Absolute Memorabilia Basketball / basketball / Panini, and data/absolute-bkb-2019-20 and data/absolute-bkb-2020-21 are both built against it. The heading is therefore wrong for this row, in the same way the memo's own dated correction records it is wrong for the Contenders Optic row. NOTHING WAS MINTED by this build. The memo needs an appended dated marker on that row; this build does not touch specs/.
- G-022 NO CROSS-PARENT SWEEP WAS PERFORMED. CHASE_CHECKLIST_SPEC records that tcdb files some of a release's sets under a SIBLING product's parent - Rookie Sweaters under 'Hoops Winter' for three consecutive seasons - and specs/2018-19_SCOPE_MEMO.md 4.4 records the same for 2018-19 Hoops Winter sid 188510. Perfect enumeration of parent 186985 and of the contiguous child block 192207-192270 does not exclude that. No search was run for Absolute Memorabilia sets filed under another 2018-19 parent, and no check was made of the 2019-20 parent for a 2018-19 Absolute Update block. The base run is contiguous 1-100 with no unissued numbers, so the specific 'unissued card hiding in next season's Update block' trap is not engaged; the general one is open.
- G-023 Card-level checklists for the 14 insert and autograph sets are NOT written by this pass - that is CHASE_CHECKLIST_SPEC's job and insert_cards.csv is deliberately absent. Prefix inventory observed in passing and recorded so the chase pass does not have to rediscover it: 10th Anniversary Auto 'AA-', Draft Day Ink 'DD-', Established Threads 'ET-', Hoopla Signatures 'HS-', Ink and Leather 'IL-', Limitless Signatures 'LS-', Rookie Threads 'RT-', Tools of the Trade Three/Four/Six Swatch Signatures 'T3-'/'T4-'/'T6-'. Past Autographs, Present Autographs, Rookie Autographs and Glass were read for flag tokens and counts only and their prefixes were not established. Note the digit-bearing suffixes this season is known for are present here too - DD-LW4 (Lonnie Walker IV), DD-MB3 (Marvin Bagley III) - and are printed, not typos.
- G-024 NAME COLLISION BETWEEN A PARALLEL AND A SET IN THE SAME RELEASE. The base-set parallel is named '10th Anniversary' (tcdb sid 192207, /10) and a separate autograph SET is named '10th Anniversary Auto' (tcdb sid 192209, /20 with its own Level 2-5 ladder). They are different objects with different print runs and different rosters - the parallel carries the 100 base cards, the set carries ten signers. name_ambiguous=yes / ambiguous_with='10th Anniversary Auto' is set on the parallel row. A resolver matching on the leading substring will confuse them.
- G-025 base_set_size=100 EXCLUDES nothing, because there is nothing to exclude - recorded because EXTRACTION_SPEC 5.3 requires the check to be stated rather than assumed. The parent's per-row flag column carries only RC tokens on base rows across the whole run and no AU, MEM, EXCH or SN code on any of them, checked on both Checklist.cfm and Gallery.cfm; numbering stops at 100; the parent header reads 'Total Cards: 100' and agrees with the last rendered page. So no autograph or relic block is filed past the base run. This matches the exclusion rule and also matches both siblings, which are 100 as well, so no convention divergence arises for this line.
