  • G-001 base_print_run recorded as unnumbered/assumed. No source STATES that the 2019-20 Absolute Memorabilia base cards are unserialised. The positive evidence is indirect: tcdb's per-row flag column on the parent Checklist.cfm (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/216972/2019-20-Panini-Absolute-Memorabilia) carries only (RC) tokens and no SN code on any of the 100 base rows, on the same renderer that prints "SN199" on every row of the base Red parallel (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/220197/) and "SN10" on every Jumbo Hat Brand Logo row; and cardboardconnection's parallel line begins the numbering at "Red #/199" with the unnumbered "Retail" tier listed first with no figure. That is a rule I applied, not a statement I found, so the basis is `assumed` per EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.1.
  • G-002 Veteran Tools of the Trade Level 1 card count disagreement. tcdb states Total Cards "30" and renders exactly 30 rows, enumerated VT-ACB, VT-AWG, VT-BGF, VT-CJM, VT-CLV, VT-DMC, VT-DRS, VT-DSB, VT-DWP, VT-EKT, VT-ETN, VT-GHL, VT-JHS, VT-JJB, VT-JTG, VT-KDR, VT-KML, VT-KNX, VT-KPZ, VT-KTH, VT-LBJ, VT-LMA, VT-MTN, VT-NVC, VT-PMP, VT-RHB, VT-SAD, VT-SON, VT-TJN, VT-WMT (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/220264/); cardboardconnection heads the section "Veteran Tools of the Trade Level 1 Set Checklist" with 40 cards (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2019-20-panini-absolute-memorabilia-basketball-cards). 30 written, because tcdb's header and its rendered-row count agree with each other and the count was re-verified by a second narrow fetch that enumerated all 30 codes. The 10 cards cardboardconnection sees and tcdb does not were not identified. This is the ONLY set count on which the two sources disagree - the other 16 insert/auto sets match exactly.
  • G-003 Ceiling and alternative print runs not resolved - 6 parallel rows are UNKNOWN/UNKNOWN rather than the stated number. cardboardconnection publishes these as ceilings or alternatives: Established Threads "Level 2 - #/25 or less", "Level 3 - #/10 or less (No Chris Paul*)", "Level 4 - #/5 or less"; Veteran Tools of the Trade "Level 4 - #/5 or less"; Jumbo Basketball "Spalding Logo #/18 or #/15, NBA Logo #/6 or #/5". A ceiling is not a print run (EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.3), so all six are UNKNOWN. tcdb's per-row SN flags independently PROVE the variation is real on three of them: Established Threads Level 2 (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/220200/) carries SN12, SN14, SN15, SN17, SN18, SN20, SN22, SN24 and SN25 on different rows; Jumbo Basketball Spalding Logo (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/220211/) carries "MEM, SN15" and "MEM, SN18"; Jumbo Basketball NBA Logo (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/220210/) carries "MEM, SN5" and "MEM, SN6". NOTE this DIVERGES from earlier catalogue practice, where several releases wrote the ceiling as an integer with a gap (e.g. contenders Ticket Stub 77, elite Aspirations 99); the rewritten EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.3 forbids it and a repair pass over those older rows is expected.
  • G-004 SERIAL NUMBERED, RUN UNKNOWN - the state EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.3 says the schema cannot express, on 6 of this release's 61 parallel rows. Established Threads Level 2/3/4, Veteran Tools of the Trade Level 4, Jumbo Basketball Spalding Logo and Jumbo Basketball NBA Logo are all PROVABLY serial numbered - tcdb renders an SN flag on every row of the three tiers checked - with a per-card variable run. The forced print_run/serial_numbered pairing collapses them to UNKNOWN/UNKNOWN, which is indistinguishable from "we found nothing at all". The held fact is recorded here: these six tiers ARE serial numbered.
  • G-005 Per-card exceptions inside a tier whose set-wide print run IS stated. Five cases, all written as the set-wide integer with the exception recorded only here, because the schema has no per-card column. (1) Rookie Autographs Level 2 written 49: tcdb https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/220228/ renders "AU, SN49" on 39 rows and "AU, SN25" on Zion Williamson, matching cardboardconnection "#/49 (Zion #/25*)". (2)(3)(4) Tools of the Trade Three/Four/Six Swatch Signatures Levels 2-4 written 25/10/5: cardboardconnection prints a separate "ZION PARALLELS: Level 2 - #/10, Level 3 - #/5, Level 4 - #/3, Level 5 - 1/1." for each of these sets, so Zion Williamson runs a tighter ladder. (5) Veteran Tools of the Trade Level 2 written 25 with "(Malone #/23*)" and Level 3 written 10 with "(Thompson #/6*)"; the Level 1 roster does contain VT-KML and VT-KTH. Also recorded: Limitless Signatures Level 5 is qualified "(No Kuzma*)", which restricts the ROSTER, not the 1/1 print run. DISTINCTION APPLIED THROUGHOUT: a stated figure with a named exception is written as the figure (G-005); a ceiling or an either/or figure is written UNKNOWN (G-003).
  • G-006 The Level 1 tiers are themselves serial numbered, and sets.csv has no column for a set print run. tcdb renders on the Level 1 checklists: Tools of the Trade Three Swatch Signatures "AU, MEM, SN199" (Zion "SN25"), Four Swatch "AU, MEM, SN175" (Zion "SN25"), Six Swatch "AU, MEM, SN149" (Zion "SN25"), Future Signatures "AU, SN49", Retired Autographs "AU, SN49", Veteran Autographs "AU, SN49", Limitless Signatures "AU, SN25", Rookie Laundry Tag "MEM, SN5", Jumbo Basketball Spalding Name "MEM, SN20"/"MEM, SN24", Jumbo Hat Team Logo "MEM, SN20". cardboardconnection publishes NO Level 1 print run for any set - it starts every ladder at Level 2 - so these figures are single-source (tcdb) and are recorded here rather than written anywhere. Rookie Autographs Level 1, Rookie Autographs Variation Level 1, Rookie Threads Level 1, Veteran Tools of the Trade Level 1 and Established Threads Level 1 carry NO SN flag and are evidenced as unnumbered on the same renderer.
  • G-007 card_count unit check (EXTRACTION_SPEC 5.4): every count in sets.csv is DISTINCT CARDS in that named set, read as tcdb rendered rows and confirmed against the tcdb Total Cards header on the same page. It is NOT the sum across Level tiers, and the tiers are NOT the same size as Level 1: Established Threads Level 1 states Total Cards "30" while its Level 2 states "27" (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/220200/). So the Level 2-5 parallel rows in parallels.csv cover a roster that is at most, and sometimes less than, the Level 1 roster. The per-tier rosters were not enumerated (out of scope for this pass).
  • G-009 Two name/code collisions inside this release. (1) CARD-CODE PREFIX COLLISION: "Retired Autographs Level 1" uses the prefix RA- (RA-AA Alvan Adams ... RA-WS Wally Szczerbiak, https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/220222/) and "Rookie Autographs Level 1" also uses RA- (RA-ASF Admiral Schofield ... RA-ZWL Zion Williamson, https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/220227/). Any later card-level pass must key on set as well as code or the two 30/40-card checklists will merge. "Rookie Autographs Variation Level 1" is safe at RV-. (2) SET-vs-PARALLEL NAME COLLISION: "Laundry Tag" is a #/10 parallel of Jumbo Hat Team Logo (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/220215/) AND "Rookie Laundry Tag" is a separate 20-card #/5 set (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/220237/). Flagged name_ambiguous=yes on the parallel row.
  • G-010 rookie_flag rests on a single source. tcdb renders an (RC) token on 44 of the 100 base cards and nothing on the other 56; no other source consulted publishes RC designations for this base set. Read off Gallery.cfm pages 1-10 and spot-confirmed against Checklist.cfm on the parent, whose flag column agrees on rows 1-10 (RC on 2, 3 and 9). Unlike the pilot Certified release the rookies are NOT blocked at the end of the run - they are scattered from card 2 to card 99.
  • G-011 Pack odds found for exactly one set. tcdb's Inserts.cfm annotates "Rookies Yellow" with "One per gravity feed box pack" (https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/216972/2019-20-Panini-Absolute-Memorabilia), written as stated_odds with scarcity_tier=standard-insert. No odds statement of any kind was found for the other 16 insert/auto sets or for any parallel, so their stated_odds/odds_evidence fields are empty and their scarcity_tier is left empty (= scarcity pass not run, per unknown_semantics.csv), not UNKNOWN.
  • G-012 beckett.com could not be consulted: https://www.beckett.com/news/2019-20-panini-absolute-memorabilia-basketball-cards/ 302-redirects to https://beckett-maintenance-page.s3.amazonaws.com/index.html . That is the same failure recorded on the pilot Certified release, so it is a standing condition for this season and not a one-off. Consequence: this release has TWO structural sources (tcdb and cardboardconnection) rather than three. gogts.net was used but is prose-level only - it confirms the release date, the box contents and the existence of the Level structure, and publishes no counts or print runs. cardboardconnection and gogts.net may well be one opinion: gogts.net reads as editorial coverage of the same Panini sell sheet.
  • G-013 tcdb's Inserts.cfm carries NO card-count column for this product. The numeric column beside each set name is "% of images added" (e.g. "38.3% of images added"), and the description column is blank on every insert row. Every card_count in sets.csv therefore came from a separate per-set ViewSet.cfm fetch of that set's Total Cards header plus its rendered rows - 18 fetches, not one. EXTRACTION_SPEC 3.2 calls Inserts.cfm "the set inventory, and therefore your sets.csv backbone", which is true for NAMES and SIDS but not for counts; budget accordingly.
  • G-014 The set-versus-parallel split inside the Jumbo families rests on cardboardconnection alone. tcdb catalogues three sibling Jumbo Basketball sets (NBA Logo 220210, Spalding Logo 220211, Spalding Name 220212) and four sibling Jumbo Hat sets (Brand Logo 220213, Button 220214, Laundry Tag 220215, Team Logo 220216) as peers, with no indication which is the base version. cardboardconnection heads only "Jumbo Basketball Spalding Name Set Checklist" and "Jumbo Hat Team Logo Set Checklist" and lists the others under "PARALLEL CARDS", which is why those two are sets.csv rows and the other five are parallels. All seven are 40-card checklists on tcdb, so the arithmetic does not distinguish them. If cardboardconnection has this backwards, five parallel rows and two set rows are mis-assigned; the objects themselves are all correctly recorded either way.
  • G-015 Two briefing claims carried forward without independent verification, both immaterial to the values written. (1) That Absolute appears inside Panini Chronicles as a base subset from 2021-22 and not in 2019-20 - no Chronicles page was fetched; nothing in this release is a Chronicles object, so nothing rests on it. (2) That Absolute Football uses single-year naming - not fetched either; every page used here renders "2019-20" and NBA teams, so no football object could have entered.
  • G-016 Every one of the 25 rows of the "Glass" insert carries the tcdb flag "EXCH" (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/220209/), i.e. tcdb records the whole set as redemption/exchange cards. Unusual enough to flag: no other set in this release is wholly EXCH (Established Threads has one EXCH row, Limitless Signatures two). Not contradicted by anything, and cardboardconnection says nothing either way.
  • G-017 FABRICATION CHECK CAUGHT A REORDERING. The first summarizing fetch of Gallery.cfm PageIndex=10 returned the ten tiles out of order, placing "97 - D'Angelo Russell" between 94 and 95 and thereby pairing 95/96/97 with the wrong players by position. A narrow verbatim re-fetch of the same URL demanding the literal caption strings returned "95: Luka Samanic *RC* - San Antonio Spurs", "96: Bradley Beal - Washington Wizards", "97: D'Angelo Russell - Golden State Warriors" in rendered order. The card-number-to-player pairs were the same in both fetches, so no data was wrong, but a reader who trusted the sequence rather than the printed numbers would have shifted three rows. EXTRACTION_SPEC 4.1 works; use it on any page whose ordering carries meaning.
