A PHOTO-VARIATION LAYER, filed here rather than gapped so a consumer can see and filter it. tcdb gives it no sid of its own; it sits inside the parent checklist as b-suffixed rows on base numbers 81 to 100, and Errors.cfm on the parent returns all twenty in one fetch, each annotated "VAR: Throwback Team" ("81b | Chris Paul" through "100b | Joe Johnson"). The variation image shows the player on a former team -- Gallery.cfm page 9 renders "81 | Chris Paul | Houston Rockets | NONE" beside "81 | Chris Paul | New Orleans Hornets | VAR". Two further lineages carry it as its own checklist at 20 cards: cardboardconnection "Base Veteran Throwback Variations Set Checklist 20 cards." and sportscardchecklist "2017-18 Panini Ascension Veteran Throwback (20 Cards)". Three independent sources, one count. set_type is "insert" because the enum is base/insert/auto and there is no variation value; the cards are not base cards and are NOT in base_cards.csv, whose card_number column is INTEGER NOT NULL. These 20 cards carry duplicate base numbers 81-100. NO COLOUR PARALLEL EXISTS FOR THIS LAYER, and that is evidenced rather than assumed: every one of the five colour sids renders numbers 1-100 as plain single rows and begins its own b rows only at 101a, and sportscardchecklist lists no Veteran Throwback colour entry.
