  • G-001 Release date: checklistcenter.com, cardboardconnection.com, tcdb.com, and blog.paniniamerica.net's QC-gallery post all state November 24, 2021 (4 sources). cardsmithsbreaks.com states November 23, 2021. blog.paniniamerica.net's earlier product-preview article gives an 'estimated' release date of November 17, 2021. Used November 24, 2021 (majority + the product's own after-the-fact QC gallery post).
  • G-002 The full 725-card base checklist (card numbers 51-725) is single-sourced to cardboardconnection.com. Only card numbers 1-50 were independently cross-verified against breakninja.com (exact verbatim match). Recommend a follow-up verification pass on 51-725 before treating base_cards.csv as fully multi-sourced.
  • G-003 Titanium Draft Position block (base cards 436-470): each base card is individually serial-numbered to the player's own 2020 NBA draft position (e.g. #436 LaMelo Ball '#/3', #437 James Wiseman '#/2', #438 Anthony Edwards '#/1'), confirmed directly in cardboardconnection.com's checklist table. This is a per-card variable scheme, not a uniform block print run, so it cannot be captured by base_card_tiers.csv's single print_run field; recorded as print_run=UNKNOWN/serial_numbered=UNKNOWN there (per the file's required consistency pairing) with the real mechanism preserved here.
  • G-004 tcdb.com additionally lists a 'Titanium Jersey Number' parallel of the Titanium Draft Position block, serial-numbered to each player's own jersey number -- a genuinely variable, per-card print run. parallels.csv only allows a single integer or 'unnumbered' per row, neither of which is a true statement here, so this parallel was omitted from parallels.csv rather than assigned a false value.
  • G-005 Qualitative scarcity language exists for three BASE BLOCKS -- 'ultra-rare Gala cards,' 'ultra-rare short-printed Titanium cards,' and 'ultra-rare Gold Standard cards' (cardsmithsbreaks.com) -- and blog.paniniamerica.net independently confirms Plates & Patches, Majestic, Limited, Gala, Titanium, and Gold Standard are all 'hobby-exclusive.' Because blocks are not sets or parallels per the addendum, none of this qualifies for scarcity_sets.csv/scarcity_parallels.csv (which must match exact set_name/parallel_name rows); it is instead reflected in base_card_tiers.csv's channel/evidence_quote fields. No numeric pull odds were found anywhere for this product, consistent with Panini's practice of not publishing basketball odds sheets. • G-006 No stated pull odds, case-hit, SSP, or short-print language was found tied by name to any of the 12 autograph/insert sets in sets.csv or to any base parallel in parallels.csv, despite checking cardboardconnection.com, checklistcenter.com, cardlines.com, steelcitycollectibles.com, blog.paniniamerica.net, and cardsmithsbreaks.com. No SSP/case-hit set names were provided in the task prompt either. scarcity_sets.csv, scarcity_parallels.csv, and ssp_cards.csv are therefore empty (header row only).
  • G-007 rookie_flag is marked 'yes' only for cards in blocks with explicit rookie designation: Donruss Rated Rookie (196-200), Plates & Patches/Majestic/Limited/Gala/Titanium Draft Position/Gold Standard (301-500, per blog.paniniamerica.net: 'Rookie Cards from multiple Panini product lines including Plates & Patches, Majestic, Limited, Gala, Titanium, and Gold Standard'), and Totally Certified Rookies (701-725). All other blocks are marked UNKNOWN because no source showed explicit per-card RC tags, even though rookies recur throughout many other blocks alongside veterans (e.g. Rookies & Stars, 651-675, mixes rookies with veterans like Kyrie Irving and Trae Young by its own name).
  • G-008 tcdb.com's structured Parallel Sets table lists 'Black' (1/1) and 'Silver' (unnumbered) as additional base parallels not mentioned by cardboardconnection.com's or checklistcenter.com's parallel breakdowns. Included in parallels.csv as single-source (tcdb.com) entries given its individually-linked, per-parallel checklist catalog structure, but flagged here since no second source corroborates them.
  • G-009 'Update Autographs' (15 cards, cardboardconnection.com) corresponds to two dated sub-components per checklistcenter.com: '2018-19 Update Set' (3 cards, Rick Fox autographs) and '2019-20 Update Set' (12 cards, Buddy Hield/DeAndre Jordan/Kevin McHale autographs). Recorded as a single combined sets.csv row using cardboardconnection's umbrella name; the split is preserved here rather than as two separate rows.
  • G-010 A single StockX retailer listing title references a 'Fanatics Exclusive Mega Box (Green Ice Parallels),' suggesting Green Ice may be Fanatics/mega-exclusive, but this was not confirmed by any editorial source, so Green Ice's channel is recorded as UNKNOWN rather than fanatics-exclusive. • G-025 Per-set parallel-tier repair pass (2026-08-27, targeted): looked for insert/autograph colour parallel tiers for these non-base sets and found none to source -- Award Winning Autographs, Update Autographs. checklistcenter.com's per-set Parallels line was empty/absent for these during the 2026-08-27 targeted parallel-tier repair pass; no second source checked showed a colour ladder either. Left unannotated rather than guessed.

  • G-027 Update Autographs (card_count 15) RESOLVED AS PRIOR-SEASON UPDATE MATERIAL AND DELIBERATELY NOT FILLED -- 0 of 15 rows written. tcdb Inserts.cfm for parent sid 285114 (https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/285114/2020-21-Panini-Chronicles) files 15 of its 69 entries under FOUR prior-season products: "2018-19 Panini Dominion Update I: Main Exhibit Legends Autographs" (sid 289700, + Gold 605381 / Platinum 605382), "2019-20 Panini Certified Update I: Established Autographs" (sid 289701, + Black/Camo/Gold/Green 605411-605414), "2019-20 Panini Opulence Update I: Gold Medal Jersey Autographs" (sid 289702, + Holo-Gold 605415 / Platinum 605416) and "2019-20 Panini Opulence Update I: Luxurious Autographs" (sid 605417, + Gold/Holo Gold/Platinum 605418/605419/605421). https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-chronicles-basketball-nba-cards independently describes this section as "reprints from prior years' sets" running from "2018-19 Dominion Main Exhibit Autographs - Rick Fox" to "2019-20 Opulence Luxurious Autographs Platinum - Kevin McHale", matching gaps G-009 (checklistcenter.com splits it into a 3-card 2018-19 component and a 12-card 2019-20 component). These cards ship in 2020-21 Chronicles packs but are a DIFFERENT PRODUCT on a different numbering scheme, and CHASE_CHECKLIST_SPEC section 3a requires prior-season "Update" subsets to be excluded and gapped rather than written into the host release. The 15 rows are therefore withheld in full. OPEN QUESTION for a human: whether "Update Autographs" should remain a sets.csv row of this release at all, or be reclassified. Note the 12 parallel sids for these sets sit in a SEPARATE sid block (605381-605421), far from the release's main block.
  • G-028 Airborne Signatures: 36 of 36 rows written, but ONE NAMED PLAYER WITHHELD as a probable tcdb error, and one card rests on a single tcdb page. (a) WITHHELD: NORMAN POWELL, rendered as "AIR-NPW" on the Airborne Signatures Red parallel page ONLY (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/289698/Airborne-Signatures-Red-2020-21-Panini-Chronicles-Basketball-Cards) and confirmed verbatim on its own ViewCard page (cid 27865740). It is absent from the tcdb base page and from all four other parallel tiers (Black/Blue/Gold/Silver), its cid (27865740) sits ~10 million outside the Red page's own contiguous cid block (17727104-17727135) indicating a much later hand edit, and https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-chronicles-basketball-nba-cards -- an independent roster source built without tcdb -- lists exactly 36 names for this set and NORMAN POWELL IS NOT AMONG THEM. Writing it would push the union to 37 against a sets.csv count of 36. Withheld as spurious. (b) SINGLE-PAGE CARD, WRITTEN: AIR-MAB Malcolm Brogdon also appears only on the Red page, but its cid (17727118) sits inside that page's own block, and cardboardconnection DOES list Malcolm Brogdon in the 36-name roster, making base(35) + AIR-MAB = 36 = sets.csv exactly. Written, but logged here as resting on one tcdb page. (c) UNRESOLVED CONFLICT: an eBay browse-catalogue page (https://www.ebay.com/b/2020-21-Panini-Chronicles-Malcolm-Brogdon-AIR-MBR/212/bn_7123344339) renders Malcolm Brogdon as AIR-MBR, whereas tcdb assigns AIR-MBR to Moses Brown on all six Airborne pages. A /b/ browse page is an eBay catalogue surface, not a seller listing, so it was not treated as evidence and no repair was made; flagged for a future pass. (d) sportscardchecklist.com reports "Airborne Signatures (35 Cards)", matching tcdb's RENDERED count rather than sets.csv's 36 -- treated as a shared-upstream agreement with tcdb, not as independent corroboration.
  • G-029 Hometown Heroes Rookie Autographs: 39 of 40 rows written. (a) WITHHELD: SADDIQ BEY. tcdb renders him as the bare ordinal "22" on the base page (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/289739/2020-21-Panini-Chronicles---Hometown-Heroes-Rookie-Autographs) AND on the Platinum parallel page, so the parallel-page test came back INCONCLUSIVE for this row; Errors.cfm for sid 289739 returns NO ENTRIES; no uncontaminated marketplace title was found. "22" is provably a placeholder rather than a printed number -- it is exactly Saddiq Bey's slot number in the https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-chronicles-basketball-nba-cards list -- so it was not written. His real code is unknown; note the same player DOES carry a real code in a sibling set (GS-SBY in Gold Standard Rookie Jersey Autographs), but reconstructing HH- from that would be derivation. (b) RECOVERED: JADEN MCDANIELS, rendered as the bare ordinal "34" on the base page (again exactly his cardboardconnection slot number) but as the real code HH-JMD on the Platinum parallel page (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/289742/2020-21-Panini-Chronicles---Hometown-Heroes-Rookie-Autographs-Platinum). Written from the Platinum page. (c) DUPLICATE CODE WRITTEN AND FLAGGED: HH-NMA renders on BOTH Naji Marshall and Nico Mannion, on the base, Platinum and Red pages. cid adjacency is ambiguous rather than decisive: the two rows are ADJACENT on base (17606942/17606943) and on Platinum (19009272/19009273), which is the copy-down-smear signature, but on the Red page Nico Mannion sits inside the original contiguous block (17607038) while Naji Marshall is the late bolt-on (24312405) -- i.e. the two pages disagree about which row came first. cardboardconnection lists BOTH players in the 40-card set, so both cards exist and only the shared code is in doubt. Neither player has an uncontaminated marketplace title: the eBay /itm/ pages for both (176536894109 for Marshall, 226299536073 for Mannion) carry tcdb's "(AU, RC)" flag string and are circular. Both rows written verbatim and flagged per spec; a future pass should try to source one of them independently.
  • G-030 Phoenix Rookie Autographs: 38 of 40 rows written; TWO NAMED PLAYERS WITHHELD. (a) SADDIQ BEY -- tcdb renders him as the bare ordinal "36" on the base page (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/289722/2020-21-Panini-Chronicles---Phoenix-Rookie-Autographs) and on the Black, Silver and Gold parallel pages alike, so the parallel-page test is INCONCLUSIVE here; Errors.cfm for sid 289722 returns NO ENTRIES. "36" is exactly his slot number in the https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-chronicles-basketball-nba-cards list, i.e. an aggregator placeholder, so it was not written. (b) JOSH GREEN -- present in cardboardconnection's 40-name roster ("31 Josh Green - Dallas Mavericks #/ 24") but ABSENT FROM tcdb ENTIRELY: every tcdb Phoenix page (base 289722, Black 289723, Silver 289727, Gold 289725, Red 289726) tops out at 39 rows and none contains him. No card number exists for him in any source consulted, so the row is withheld. tcdb's maximum union for this set is 39 against a sets.csv count of 40.
  • G-031 Rookie Cornerstones: 37 of 38 rows written. WITHHELD: SADDIQ BEY, rendered by tcdb as the bare ordinal "35" on the base page (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/289718/2020-21-Panini-Chronicles---Rookie-Cornerstones) and identically on the Onyx parallel page (sid 289719), so the parallel-page test is INCONCLUSIVE. "35" is exactly his slot number in the https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-chronicles-basketball-nba-cards list. He is confirmed a member of the set by that same roster, but no printed code was found in any source, so the row is withheld rather than filled with the placeholder.
  • G-032 CONTRADICTION FOUND AGAINST OUR OWN parallels.csv (reported, not edited -- parallels.csv is out of scope for this pass). tcdb Inserts.cfm for parent sid 285114 lists 69 entries which reconcile EXACTLY against 11 autograph sets + 43 tcdb parallels + 15 prior-season Update entries; but the composition disagrees with parallels.csv in four places, all in the direction of OUR file being short. (a) GOLD STANDARD ROOKIE JERSEY AUTOGRAPHS SUPER PRIME (tcdb sid 289731) is not in parallels.csv, although sets.csv's own note for that set names "(Red, Prime, Super Prime)". (b) LIMITED ROOKIE JERSEY AUTOGRAPHS SUPER PRIME (tcdb sid 289748) likewise absent, although sets.csv's note names it. This repeats exactly the finding recorded on 2019-20 Chronicles, where the Inserts.cfm arithmetic balanced perfectly and our own parallels.csv was nonetheless the incomplete side -- the balance bounds the search, it does not prove the composition. (c) AWARD WINNING AUTOGRAPHS has NO parallel rows at all in parallels.csv, but tcdb carries "Award Winning Autographs Gold" (sid 289686) and "Award Winning Autographs Gold Vinyl" (sid 289687). (d) NAME DISCREPANCY: parallels.csv gives Rookie Private Signings Association Version the tiers "Gold" and "Gold Vinyl", while tcdb gives "Gold" (sid 289716) and "PLATINUM" (sid 289717). One of the two is wrong about the second tier's name; not resolved here.
  • G-033 RELEASE-WIDE SOURCE FINDING worth carrying to sibling agents: on this release tcdb's BARE-ORDINAL PLACEHOLDERS ARE PROVABLY AGGREGATOR SLOT NUMBERS THAT LEAKED INTO tcdb, not stale printed numbers. Four bare ordinals appear across three sets -- Hometown Heroes "22" (Saddiq Bey) and "34" (Jaden McDaniels), Phoenix "36" (Saddiq Bey), Rookie Cornerstones "35" (Saddiq Bey) -- and every one of them is EXACTLY that player's position number in the corresponding https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-chronicles-basketball-nba-cards section (Hometown Heroes 22 = Saddiq Bey, 34 = Jaden McDaniels; Phoenix 36 = Saddiq Bey; Rookie Cornerstones 35 = Saddiq Bey). Four independent confirmations of the mapping. This is contamination running aggregator -> tcdb, the reverse of the usual direction, and it means a bare ordinal on this line can be positively identified as fake rather than merely suspected. It also means cardboardconnection is USABLE FOR ROSTERS AND POSITIVELY DISQUALIFIED FOR card_number on this release: it renumbers every coded set (Airborne 1-40 with holes, Phoenix 1-40, Limited 1-40 with holes, National Pride 2-20 with a hole, Rookie Cornerstones 1-40 with holes) where the cards print AIR-/PH-/LR-/NPS-/RC- letter codes.
