  • G-001 cardboardconnection.com's 2019-20 Panini Contenders Basketball product page could not be fetched on any attempt (repeated robots.txt fetch failures), and beckett.com/news returned HTTP 403. The usual two most authoritative parallel/print-run sources are therefore missing; print runs below rest mainly on checklistcenter.com with corroboration from breakninja, COMC listings and the Panini sell sheet reposts.
  • G-002 Game Ticket Purple print run disagreement: checklistcenter states #/49; the Panini sell sheet as reposted by Sports Collectors Daily and Sports Cards Plus reads "Game Ticket Green and Game Ticket Purple (/25)". parallels.csv uses 49 because checklistcenter proved correct on Game Ticket Blue (#/99) where the same sell sheet said /49.
  • G-004 Print runs for Playoff #/199, Semifinal #/149, Conference Finals #/125 and The Finals #/65 on the veteran base run are documented by checklistcenter only. Their existence is multi-sourced (breakninja per-team checklists, sportscardchecklist.com set index) but the numbers are unconfirmed by a second source.
  • G-006 Cards 101-165 of the base numbering are autographed Rookie Season Ticket cards and carry their own parallel ladder (Playoff #/99 with Zion #/75, The Finals #/49 with Zion #/35, Cracked Ice #/25, Championship 1/1, Printing Plates 1/1, Stub, Premium Edition / Green Shimmer / Blue Shimmer FOTL #/20 / Gold #/10 / Gold Vinyl 1/1). Per the task spec these are recorded in the sets.csv notes for the autograph sets and deliberately NOT in parallels.csv, so parallels.csv does not describe the full parallel space of the base numbering.
  • G-007 No consulted source prints explicit RC logos/designations on the Season Ticket checklist. rookie_flag is set from the checklist's own section headings ('Base Season Ticket Set' = veterans 1-100 -> no; 'Rookie Season Ticket Set' 101-145 and 'Rookie Season Ticket Sticker Auto Set' 146-165 -> yes), not from a printed RC marker.
  • G-008 Base card 1-165 player names, teams and numbering come from checklistcenter.com. Independent spot checks confirmed a sample only: breakninja per-team pages confirm #7 Anthony Davis, #21 D'Angelo Russell, #26 DeMarcus Cousins, #32 Draymond Green, #62 Klay Thompson, #65 Kyle Kuzma, #70 LeBron James, #92 Stephen Curry, #101 Jordan Poole, #103 Alen Smailagic, #105 Talen Horton-Tucker, #139 Eric Paschall, #155 Zach Norvell Jr., #156 Ky Bowman; COMC confirms #118 Ja Morant; TCDB confirms #1 Trae Young and the 165 total. The remaining ~150 rows are single-source.
  • G-009 Box configuration disagreement: checklistcenter prints "5 Cards Per Box; 10 Packs Per Box; 12 Boxes Per Case" (internally inconsistent), while gogts.net and Sports Collectors Daily both give hobby as 10 cards per pack, 12 packs per box, 12 boxes per case. release.csv uses the latter. Blaster is also disputed: DA Card World says 5 packs x 8 cards, Sports Collectors Daily says 8 packs x 5 cards (both = 40 cards, matching the Amazon listing).
  • G-010 Release date: checklistcenter states January 3, 2020 and gogts.net announced arrival Friday January 3, 2020 (used here). The gogts.net product page separately shows October 16, 2019, which appears to be an announcement/listing date rather than the street date.
  • G-011 Counts for Season Ticket Photo Variation (40), Rookie Season Ticket Photo Variation (40), Rookie Season Ticket Variations Auto (45), Rookie Season Ticket Stub Auto (110), Veteran Season Ticket Stub Auto (10), Kobe Bryant Auto (17) and 2018 Contenders Extras Auto (22) are single-source (checklistcenter only). The Panini sell sheet gives a headline "Rookie Ticket Autographs - 45" that agrees with the 45-card rookie run, but does not enumerate the variation/stub sets.
  • G-012 Insert name disagreement: checklistcenter heads the 20-card insert "Front Row" while breakninja and the Panini sell sheet call it "Front Row Seat". sets.csv uses "Front Row" and notes the alternative.
  • G-013 MODELING NOTE (2026-08-17): Season Ticket numbering continues past the unsigned base into autographed Rookie Tickets. This release captures 65 such rows (#101+), flagged card_type=rookie-auto. They are autographs seeded at auto odds, not pack-completable base cards.
  • G-014 Per-set parallel tier repair pass (2026-08-27): 2018 Contenders Extras Autographs has no sourced parallel tier - not itemised in the existing note, and tcdb.com's Inserts.cfm page for this release lists it standalone with no colour-suffixed subsets. Left unannotated.
  • G-015 2018 Contenders Extras Autographs (card_count 22) could not be sourced card-by-card and NO rows were written for it. tcdb has no set of that name under this release's parent sid 216974: its Inserts.cfm listing (https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/216974/2019-20-Panini-Contenders) returns 75 insert sids plus 19 parallel sids, every one of which was confirmed against its own page heading, and the only numeric gap in the 222889-222972 block, sid 222904, resolves to the tcdb homepage (a sid that exists but renders no cards) while the adjacent sid 222905 resolves normally through the identical ViewSet.cfm slug shape - so the 404/redirect distinction is sound and 222904 is an empty set, not this one. The only prior-season carry-over material tcdb files under this parent is the '2018-19 Panini Contenders Update I: Historic Rookie' family at sids 605152-605162, which is eleven sids of two cards each (Joel Embiid and Reggie Miller Historic Rookie tickets, e.g. https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/605152/2019-20-Panini-Contenders-probe reads 'Total Cards: 2'). That is a different, prior-season product on a different numbering scheme and per the extraction spec its cards must not be written into this release, so it is neither this set nor a substitute for it. The 22 count remains single-sourced to checklistcenter (see G-011), and checklistcenter may not supply card numbers.
  • G-016 Rookie Season Ticket Variations Autographs: 37 of 45 rows written; 8 withheld. The set is the 'AU, VAR' half of the rookie autograph block inside parent checklist sid 216974, numbered with the base card's number plus a 'b' suffix. tcdb's parent page 2 (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/216974/2019-20-Panini-Contenders?PageIndex=2) truncates its own HTML around row 74 of 100, which lands just short of card 113; Gallery.cfm renders those rows only as a repeated bare number with a 'VAR' tag and ViewCard.cfm renders them as '#114' with the suffix stripped, so no page available prints the letter suffix for them. WITHHELD PLAYERS (each confirmed by https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/216974/2019-20-Panini-Contenders?PageIndex=18 , ?PageIndex=19 and ?PageIndex=20 to have an 'AU, VAR' row at the stated base number, but with no sourced printed suffix): 113 Cody Martin, 114 Nassir Little, 115 Jaylen Nowell, 116 Sekou Doumbouya, 117 Luka Samanic, 118 Ja Morant, 119 Ty Jerome, 120 Cam Reddish. Writing 113b-120b would have been derivation from the suffix rule observed on 101b-112b and 121b-145b, so it was refused.
  • G-017 Rookie Season Ticket Photo Variation: 36 rows written; 9 withheld, AND the set size in sets.csv is contradicted. This set is the unsigned 'VAR' ('c' suffix) third row of each rookie number in parent checklist sid 216974. WITHHELD PLAYERS (a 'VAR' row is visible for each on Gallery.cfm pages 18-20 but the printed 'c' suffix sits past the page-2 HTML truncation): 112 Bol Bol, 113 Cody Martin, 114 Nassir Little, 115 Jaylen Nowell, 116 Sekou Doumbouya, 117 Luka Samanic, 118 Ja Morant, 119 Ty Jerome, 120 Cam Reddish. CONTRADICTION WITH sets.csv: sets.csv gives card_count 40 (single-sourced to checklistcenter per G-011), but tcdb carries a 'c' row for every one of the 45 rookie numbers 101-145 - verified verbatim for 101c-111c and 121c-145c - and the parent's rendered row total of 295 (stated by https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/216974/2019-20-Panini-Contenders?PageIndex=18) only reconciles as 165 base + 40 veteran 'b' + 45 rookie 'b' + 45 rookie 'c'. The 40 veteran 'b' rows were counted directly and do match sets.csv's Season Ticket Photo Variation count of 40, which makes the 45 for the rookie 'c' block the arithmetic residue. sets.csv was not modified.
  • G-018 Season Ticket Photo Variation: 34 of 40 rows written; 6 withheld. These are the unsigned 'b' photo variations of veteran base cards 1-100, filed inside parent checklist sid 216974 with no subset page of their own. tcdb's parent page 1 truncates its own HTML at card 54b, and the six remaining variations fall in the 55-70 stretch that only Gallery.cfm reaches - and Gallery.cfm prints the base number with a 'VAR' tag rather than the printed 'b' suffix. WITHHELD PLAYERS (each confirmed to have a VAR row at https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/216974/2019-20-Panini-Contenders?PageIndex=8 , ?PageIndex=9 and ?PageIndex=10): 55 Kawhi Leonard, 56 Kemba Walker, 57 Kevin Durant, 62 Klay Thompson, 64 Kristaps Porzingis, 67 Kyrie Irving. Counting these six plus the 34 sourced gives exactly the 40 that sets.csv states, which corroborates the set size even though six card_numbers could not be written.
  • G-019 Rookie Season Ticket Stub Autographs: 100 of 110 rows written; 10 withheld. Structure sourced from https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/222938/2019-20-Panini-Contenders---Rookie-Season-Ticket-Stub - cards 101-145 each appear twice (N and Nb) and 146-165 once, totalling 110 and reconciling sets.csv exactly. That page's own header reads 'Total Cards: 65', which is stale and contradicted by its own 110 rendered rows. Its page 1 truncates after 70 rendered rows (ending at 135b), so the 'b' rows for 136-145 were only reachable through Gallery.cfm, which prints them as a second bare-numbered 'VAR' copy without the letter suffix. WITHHELD: 136b Goga Bitadze, 137b Bruno Fernando, 138b Rui Hachimura, 139b Eric Paschall, 140b Coby White, 141b Darius Bazley, 142b Tyler Herro, 143b Kyle Guy, 144b Chuma Okeke, 145b Tremont Waters. Their unsuffixed counterparts 136-145 ARE written, sourced from Gallery.cfm pages 8 and 9.
  • G-020 Kobe Bryant Autographs: sets.csv and tcdb both give 17, and all 17 rows are written, but marketplace evidence indicates the set runs past 17. The tcdb page renders a contiguous bare 1..17 on an autograph set, which is the classic renumbering smell, so it was tested against seller/lot titles before anything was written: https://goldin.co/item/2019-20-panini-contenders-kobe-bryant-autographs-11-kobe-bryant-signedw22df (#11), https://goldin.co/item/2019-20-panini-contenders-kobe-bryant-autographs-15-kobe-bryant-signedvds6l (#15) and the eBay seller listing https://www.ebay.com/itm/388740670885 ('2019-20 Panini Contenders #12 Kobe Bryant HOF PSA 10 PSA/DNA 10 ON CARD AUTO') all show plain printed ordinals inside the 1-17 range, so the ordinals are real printed numbers and not display indices. However https://goldin.co/item/2019-20-panini-contenders-kobe-bryant-autographs-25-kobe-bryant-signedcqc04 is titled '2019-20 Panini Contenders Kobe Bryant Autographs #25 Kobe Bryant Signed Card', which cannot fit a 17-card 1-17 run. No row was written for #25: a single lot title against two agreeing catalogues is not enough to add a card, and a sibling goldin lot titled '2019-20 Panini Kobe Bryant Autographs #32' proved on inspection to be Contenders DRAFT PICKS (cf. https://www.ebay.com/itm/114221253687), which shows this seller's titles can attach the wrong product. Numbers 18 and above are unresolved.
  • G-021 Contenders Autographs prints CA-TYG on TWO different players - Thaddeus Young (Chicago Bulls) and Trae Young (Atlanta Hawks) - on https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/222908/2019-20-Panini-Contenders---Contenders-Autographs . Both rows are written verbatim and flagged rather than dropped: this is a genuine two-way initials collision of exactly the kind the extraction spec describes, not a four-or-more-player data-entry smear, and the set still renders exactly the 40 rows sets.csv states. (set_name, card_number) is therefore not unique within this release for this set.
  • G-022 METHOD NOTE for future passes on this parent sid. tcdb's parent checklist 216974 paginates cleanly at 100 rows per page via ?PageIndex=1..3 (295 rows total, so page 3 ends at row 295), but each page's HTML is silently truncated by the fetch at roughly 70-78 rendered rows - measured at 54b on page 1, 111c-112b on page 2 and 153-154 on page 3 across several fetches. ?PageSize= is ignored. IMPORTANT: prompting a summarising fetch to 'skip everything before card N' and list from there produces CONFIDENTLY FABRICATED, pattern-filled tokens rather than an admission of truncation - two such responses invented alternating 'N, Nb' runs for cards 58-78 and a flat 114-165 run, both contradicted by Gallery.cfm and by the 295-row arithmetic, and both were discarded. Only prompts that ask for the tokens actually rendered, or that ask for a card-number plus its ViewCard cid so the answer can be cross-checked against an independent Gallery.cfm fetch, returned honest 'not present in the source' answers. Gallery.cfm?PageIndex=N is the reliable pagination here (10 per page, index-aligned and verified at pages 8, 18, 29 and 30) but it prints the base number with an 'AU, RC' / 'AU, VAR' / 'VAR' tag and never the printed 'b' / 'c' letter suffix; ViewCard.cfm strips the suffix too, rendering both 114b and 114c as '#114'.
