  • G-001 cardboardconnection.com (the spec's preferred primary source) could not be fetched for this release: the direct URL and /amp URL return ROBOTS_DISALLOWED and the allorigins / codetabs text proxies returned HTTP 500 and robots errors on every retry. No data in this extraction comes from cardboardconnection.
  • G-002 beckett.com/news returns HTTP 403 on direct fetch. The Beckett checklist article was read successfully through the api.allorigins.win text proxy; all Beckett-attributed data here comes via that proxy and was not verifiable against the origin server directly.
  • G-003 Release date disagreement. April 13, 2022 is stated by blog.paniniamerica.net ("AVAILABLE TOMORROW", posted April 12, 2022), beckett.com/news, checklistcenter.com and dacardworld.com. cardlines.com and breakninja.com state March 30, 2022; gogts.net states January 12, 2022 (an earlier announced date). Used 2022-04-13 (4 sources incl. the manufacturer).
  • G-004 Base set size definition disagreement. beckett.com/news defines the base set as 165 cards (Season Ticket #1-100, Rookie Season Ticket Autographs #101-145, Rookie Season Ticket Stickers #146-165). checklistcenter.com and cardsmithsbreaks.com describe the base "Season Ticket" set as 100 cards and treat #101-165 as separate autograph sets. The Fanatics blaster description (steelcitycollectibles.com) calls it "a 120-card set including 100 season tickets and 20 rookie season ticket stickers". Used 165 (one continuous Season Ticket numbering).
  • G-005 Channel assignment is undocumented for 15 of the 17 base parallels. No source states which of the Ticket ladder (Playoff /249, First Round /149, Semifinal /99, Conference Finals /75, The Finals /49, Cracked Ice /25, Championship 1/1, Printing Plates 1/1, NBA 75th Anniversary Ticket) or the Game Ticket colour family (Anniversary Edition, Bronze, Green, Red, Blue /49, Purple /25) are hobby-only vs retail-only. Only Opening Night Ticket FOTL (FOTL) and Green Ice Game Ticket (Fanatics blaster) are channel-attributed by sources; all others recorded as UNKNOWN. [REVIEWED 2026-08-17: still open; 15 of 17 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-17: still open; 15 of 17 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 15 of 17 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 15 of 17 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 15 of 17 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 15 of 17 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 15 of 17 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 15 of 17 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 15 of 17 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 15 of 17 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 15 of 17 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 15 of 17 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 15 of 17 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 15 of 17 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 15 of 17 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 15 of 17 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 15 of 17 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 15 of 17 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 15 of 17 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 15 of 17 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 15 of 17 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 15 of 17 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 15 of 17 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 15 of 17 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: count is now 77 of 79 - the channel pass resolved -62 of these with cited evidence. • G-006 Veteran Season Ticket Autographs card count: beckett.com/news and checklistcenter.com say 10 cards, cardsmithsbreaks.com says 9. Recorded 10.
  • G-007 Rookie Ticket Dual Swatches card count: beckett.com/news says 10 cards, cardsmithsbreaks.com says 7 cards plus a separate 3-card "Rookie Ticket Dual Swatches Green Ice" set. Recorded 10; the two may be the same 10 cards split differently.
  • G-008 Team assignments for all 165 base cards come from cardsmithsbreaks.com only. The Beckett checklist extract supplied player names and card numbers (which match cardsmithsbreaks exactly for 1-165) but not teams; breakninja.com independently confirmed teams for #101-110 only. Remaining team values are single-source.
  • G-009 Set naming inconsistency for the rookie autograph chase. Panini (blog.paniniamerica.net) and dacardworld.com call it "Rookie Ticket Autographs"; beckett.com/news names the #101-145 set "Rookie Season Ticket Autographs". checklistcenter.com lists BOTH "Rookie Season Ticket Auto Set: 45 Cards" and "Rookie Ticket Auto Set: 45 Cards", so it is unresolved whether a second, separately-numbered "Rookie Ticket" autograph set exists or whether these are two names for the same 45 cards. Recorded as one set.
  • G-010 The photo-variation sets (Season Ticket Photo Variation 40, Rookie Variation Season Ticket Autographs 45, Rookie Season Ticket Photo Variation Autographs 40) are listed by checklistcenter.com and cardsmithsbreaks.com but are not itemised in the beckett.com/news set breakdown. Their card counts, and the choice to type Season Ticket Photo Variation as an insert rather than part of the base set, are unverified against a third source.
  • G-011 Printing Plates recorded as a single parallel row. breakninja.com carries a "Season Ticket Printing Plate" card set showing Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow plates, but neither beckett.com/news nor checklistcenter.com names the four colours as distinct parallels, so per-colour rows were not created.
  • G-012 Retail/hobby split of the base numbering is only partly documented. dacardworld.com describes "retail exclusive Rookie Season Ticket stickers" (i.e. #146-165) in the 5-pack blaster, and sportsworldchicago.com states the Fanatics blaster contains "Rookie Season Ticket Stickers Green Ice (Autographs)" with "20 players not included in the Rookie Season Ticket set (Hobby)". Whether #146-165 appear in hobby boxes at all is not stated by beckett.com/news or checklistcenter.com.
  • G-013 Rookie flags are derived from subset membership (#1-100 veteran Season Ticket = no; #101-165 Rookie Season Ticket Autographs / Stickers = yes), not from published RC-logo designations - no source shows RC markings for this release. Note that some players in #146-165 (e.g. #152 Juan Toscano-Anderson) were not first-year players in 2021-22 despite sitting in a "Rookie" subset.
  • G-014 Insert-set parallel ladders (Green Ice, Cracked Ice /25, Championship Edition 1/1 etc.) are recorded only in set notes and come from beckett.com/news alone; checklistcenter.com and cardsmithsbreaks.com do not enumerate them.
  • G-015 Team value for #156 Dejon Jarreau (Indiana Pacers) is single-source (cardsmithsbreaks.com) and could not be corroborated; it conflicts with his commonly reported 2021-22 affiliation.
  • G-016 MODELING NOTE (2026-08-17): Season Ticket numbering continues past the unsigned base into autographed Rookie Tickets. This release captures 65 such rows (#101-165), flagged card_type=rookie-auto. They are autographs seeded at auto odds, not pack-completable base cards.
  • G-017 Veteran Season Ticket Autographs: sets.csv records 10 cards (beckett.com/news + checklistcenter.com) but tcdb renders 9 and its header says 9. Nine VT- codes were written. tcdb files this set at its own sid 311941 titled '2021-22 Panini Contenders - Veteran Season Ticket' (all rows AU-flagged): https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/311941/2021-22-Panini-Contenders-Veteran-Season-Ticket . Its Premium Edition parallel https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/311942/2021-22-Panini-Contenders-Veteran-Season-Ticket-Premium-Edition renders the same 9 and its Stub parallel https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/311953/2021-22-Panini-Contenders-Veteran-Season-Ticket-Stub renders only 8 (no VT-LDC Luka Doncic), so unioning the parallels adds nothing. A 10th card, if it exists, is unidentified: no player name is available for it. This corroborates cardsmithsbreaks.com's 9 against sets.csv's 10 (see G-006).
  • G-018 Rookie Variation Season Ticket Autographs: 36 of 45 card numbers written; 9 withheld. The set is base-numbered inside the parent checklist (tcdb sid 296052) as the 'b' run 101b-145b and has no subset page of its own. Checklist.cfm is the only tcdb view that renders the 'b' suffix - Gallery.cfm and ViewCard.cfm both strip it (the variation of #64 James Harden renders as '64' with a VAR flag and its href reads .../2021-22-Panini-Contenders-64-James-Harden) - and Checklist.cfm page 2 truncates stochastically between 78 and 83 rows across six slug variants, never reaching the end of its 100-row page. Gallery.cfm pages 19 and 20 prove the missing rows exist (each of these players renders twice, once 'AU, RC' and once 'AU, VAR') and row-index arithmetic makes the tokens 122b-130b, but that is a derivation, not a source, so the rows were withheld. Withheld players: #122 Isaiah Jackson, #123 Usman Garuba, #124 Josh Christopher, #125 Quentin Grimes, #126 Bones Hyland, #127 Cameron Thomas, #128 Jaden Springer, #129 Day'Ron Sharpe, #130 Santi Aldama. https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/296052/2021-22-Panini-Contenders-Season-Ticket?PageIndex=2
  • G-019 Two rookie photo-variation sets are recorded for this release and it is unresolved whether they are two physically distinct Panini sets or one set catalogued twice. sets.csv carries Rookie Variation Season Ticket Autographs (45) and Rookie Season Ticket Photo Variation Autographs (40), both from checklistcenter.com and cardsmithsbreaks.com only (G-010). tcdb independently carries both shapes: a 45-card 'b' run 101b-145b inside parent sid 296052, and a 40-card set at its own sid 309045 numbered 101-140 (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/309045/2021-22-Panini-Contenders-Rookie-Season-Ticket-Photo-Variation). They are distinct records on tcdb, not a cross-listing: sid 309045's cards carry cids in the 18457xxx range while the parent's variation rows carry 18645xxx cids. The counts map with zero slack (45 to 45, 40 to 40), which is what assigned each run to its sets.csv row. But sid 309045's 40 cards are exactly the first 40 of the 45 rookies in numeric order, which is what an incomplete duplicate entry would also look like, and no source read here states what physically distinguishes the two sets. Both sets' numbers mirror the base rookie run by design (photo variations print the base card's number), so the copy check against base_cards.csv #101-145 fires on both and is expected rather than a fabrication signal.
  • G-020 Season Ticket Photo Variation: 33 of 40 card numbers written; 7 withheld, for the same reason as G-018. The set is the veteran 'b' run inside parent sid 296052 and has no subset page of its own; Checklist.cfm page 1 truncated between 72 and 83 rows across six slug variants and never reached card 68. Gallery.cfm pages 9 and 10 prove the rows exist (each of these players renders twice, the second marked VAR) but strip the letter suffix, so the tokens could not be sourced. Withheld players: #59 De'Aaron Fox, #61 Rudy Gobert, #62 LeBron James, #64 James Harden, #65 RJ Barrett, #67 Joel Embiid, #68 Nikola Jokic. The 40-card total is confirmed arithmetically: the parent renders 250 rows against a stale header of 165, and 250 = 165 base + 40 veteran 'b' + 45 rookie 'b'. https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/296052/2021-22-Panini-Contenders?PageIndex=10
  • G-021 tcdb set-name and prefix observations for this release, recorded so a resolver is not surprised. (1) tcdb titles the 30-card insert '2021-22 Panini Contenders - 2021 Draft Class' (sid 307810) while its own parallels on the same Inserts.cfm listing read '2021 Draft Class Contenders Green Ice' / '... Championship Edition'; matched to the sets.csv row '2021 Draft Class Contenders' by roster, count and parent sid. (2) tcdb titles sid 307899 'Superstar Die Cuts' against sets.csv 'Superstar Die-Cuts'. (3) tcdb titles sid 311941 'Veteran Season Ticket' against sets.csv 'Veteran Season Ticket Autographs'; all 9 rows are AU-flagged. (4) The RTS- prefix is shared by two different sets in this release - Rookie Ticket Swatches Autographs (sid 307930) and Rookie Ticket Swatches (sid 307929) - with identical 40-player rosters and identical codes, so (set_name, card_number) is the only safe key. (5) Prefixes re-derived from pages read for this season: CA-, LC-, MVP-, SC-, RTS-, RT2-, VT-. VT- is a reversion from the VS- used in 2020-21. (6) Legendary Contenders Autographs prints LC-MCH on two players (Mario Chalmers and Maurice Cheeks); a two-player collision, written verbatim and flagged in both rows rather than dropped. https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/296052/2021-22-Panini-Contenders
