Notes
tcdb lists this tier as its own set under the parent product inventory (https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/338927/2021-22-Panini-Contenders-Optic), sid 343317 (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/343317/2021-22-Panini-Contenders-Optic---Rookies-Green-Pulsar). This tier was NOT fetched directly; its print run rests on the checklistcenter ladder below plus the existence of its own tcdb sid. See gap G-016. checklistcenter Rookies Set ladder: "Parallels: Red; Silver; Black Pandora SSP; Blue #/99; Orange #/49; Green Pulsar #/25; Gold #/10; Gold Vinyl 1/1; Printing Plates 1/1" and, under a SEPARATE heading, "Asia Parallels: Base; Red Wave; Blue Wave #/45; Gold Wave #/10" (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2021-22-panini-contenders-optic-basketball-card-checklist/). tcdb lists seventeen "Rookies ..." sids for this set (https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/338927/2021-22-Panini-Contenders-Optic) - the checklistcenter ladder plus a "Rookies 75th Anniversary" that checklistcenter instead files as a set of its own; see gap G-013. CHANNEL DECLINED ON PURPOSE (EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.3): channel=UNKNOWN with channel_basis EMPTY. The only channel evidence found for this product is the product-level hobby-box note ("Approx. $340USD Per Hobby Box", https://www.checklistcenter.com/2021-22-panini-contenders-optic-basketball-card-checklist/; "Hobby Configuration: 6 cards per pack, 1 pack per box, 20 boxes per case", https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2021-22-panini-contenders-optic-basketball-nba-cards). That note supports "the product ships in hobby boxes" and says nothing about an individual tier. It was allowed to carry channel=hobby / basis=from-note on the ordinary ladder, but it is NOT extended to the Wave, Pandora and Pulsar finishes: in the 2019-20 release of this same line the Wave finishes were a China/T-Mall exclusive (data/contendersoptic-bkb-2019-20 carries channel=china on base Gold Wave and Red Wave), and this season checklistcenter files Red Wave, Blue Wave #/45 and Gold Wave #/10 under a separate heading "Asia Parallels" for the Rookies set (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2021-22-panini-contenders-optic-basketball-card-checklist/). Writing hobby here would be the inference EXTRACTION_SPEC 1.5 forbids. See gap G-017.
