Notes

tcdb states Total Cards "138"; rows 1-3 ("1 | Marcus Smart | Boston Celtics") render with an EMPTY flag column (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/391177/2022-23-Panini-Contenders-Optic-Red-Wave). This sid spans BOTH the base run and the 101-140 Rookie Ticket block; the base-scope run recorded here is read off rows 1-3, and the block-scope run is a separate row in this file read off rows 101/101b (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/391177/2022-23-Panini-Contenders-Optic-Red-Wave?PageIndex=2&sort=0). UNNUMBERED IS A POSITIVE FINDING, NOT AN ABSENCE: the same renderer prints SN99/SN75/SN49/SN45/SN25/SN15/SN10/SN1 on the numbered tiers of this same base run and prints NOTHING here, and checklistcenter's base ladder prints a "#/" figure on exactly the numbered tiers and none on this one - "Parallels: Red; Red Wave; Silver; Black Pandora SSP; Blue #/99; Pink #/75; Orange #/49; Blue Wave #/45; Green Pulsar #/25; Purple #/15; Gold #/10; Gold Wave #/10; Gold Vinyl 1/1; Printing Plates 1/1" (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2022-23-panini-contenders-optic-basketball-card-checklist/). CHANNEL DECLINED ON PURPOSE: the only channel evidence for this product is a product-level hobby-box note ("Standard hobby boxes offer 1 signed card each, most of which appear to be hard-signed.", https://www.checklistcenter.com/2022-23-panini-contenders-optic-basketball-card-checklist/), which supports "the product ships in hobby boxes" and nothing about this tier. tcdb labels the Rookies-scope Red Wave and Gold Wave of this same release "Asia/Tmall box exclusive" (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/391244/2022-23-Panini-Contenders-Optic-Rookies-Red-Wave), and in 2019-20 the Wave finishes on this line were a China/T-Mall exclusive, so a hobby assignment here is not supportable. This tier's own page carries no exclusivity note of any kind (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/391177/2022-23-Panini-Contenders-Optic-Red-Wave?sort=1). See gap G-007.
