  • G-001 SCHEMA EXPRESSIVENESS GAP, TWELVE ROWS. Twelve set-scope parallel tiers are PROVABLY serial numbered and have a PER-CARD VARIABLE run, a state the schema cannot hold because print_run and serial_numbered are forced to move together, so all twelve carry UNKNOWN/UNKNOWN - indistinguishable from "we found nothing", which is the exact collapse unknown_semantics.csv exists to prevent. Every census below is a FULL enumeration of every rendered row, not a sample, counted row by row rather than taken from the fetch layer's own tally. Cornerstones Crystal, sid 200500, 32 rows: SN49 x23, SN15 x7, SN35 x2. Cornerstones Quartz, sid 200503, 32 rows: SN25 x24, SN10 x7, SN22 x1 (CS-DAF De'Aaron Fox). Cornerstones Marble, sid 200501, 32 rows: SN10 x24, SN5 x8. Elemental Signatures Crystal, sid 200595, 33 rows: SN49 x27, SN35 x4, SN15 x2. Elemental Signatures Quartz, sid 200598, 33 rows: SN25 x31, SN10 x2. Elemental Signatures Marble, sid 200596, 33 rows: SN10 x31, SN5 x2. Franchise Pillars Crystal, sid 200577, 25 rows: SN49 x19, SN35 x3, SN15 x3. Franchise Pillars Quartz, sid 200578, 24 rows: SN25 x21, SN10 x3. Franchise Pillars Marble, sid 200579, 25 rows: SN10 x22, SN5 x3. Legendary Cornerstones Crystal, sid 200587, 28 rows: SN49 x17, SN15 x7, SN35 x3, SN41 x1 (LC-DIS Dan Issel - a token that appears nowhere else in the release). Legendary Cornerstones Quartz, sid 200589, 28 rows: SN25 x22, SN10 x6. Legendary Cornerstones Marble, sid 200590, 28 rows: SN10 x22, SN5 x6. A three-row sample would have written a clean confident wrong integer on every one of these twelve. To resolve: a print_run_basis column, or permitting serial_numbered=yes with print_run=UNKNOWN. • G-002 CEILINGS AND RANGES RECORDED, AND HOW THEY FARED. cardboardconnection prints a PARALLEL CARDS line beneath each insert-set checklist heading. Four of those lines are CEILINGS or RANGES rather than print runs and were therefore NOT written into print_run: "PARALLEL CARDS: Crystal #/49 or less, Quartz #/25 or less, Marble #/10 or #/5, Onyx 1/1." (Cornerstones and Elemental Signatures) and "PARALLEL CARDS: Crystal #/49 or less, Quartz #/25 or #/10, Marble #/10 or #/5, Onyx 1/1." (Legendary Cornerstones and Franchise Pillars). Recording how they tested against a full tcdb enumeration, because the round-8 briefing warns that stated ranges have been refuted elsewhere: on this product every one HELD. Every stated range bracketed exactly the tokens found ({10,5} for Marble, {25,10} for the two ranged Quartz tiers) and every "or less" ceiling was the true maximum of its enumerated token set, with one value falling strictly inside a ceiling that no source named - SN22 on CS-DAF and SN41 on LC-DIS. The tiers still carry UNKNOWN, because a ceiling that happens to be the maximum is still not a per-tier print run. By contrast the two UNHEDGED editorial figures in the same document were both CONFIRMED by full enumeration: "Keystone Signatures Set Checklist: 30 cards. Serial numbered #/129." (distinct token set over all 30 rows is exactly {SN129}) and "Rookie Cornerstones Autograph Relics Set Checklist: 35 cards. Serial numbered #/199." (exactly {SN199} over all 35). • G-005 SEVEN PARALLEL TIER PAGES RENDER FEWER ROWS THAN THEIR PARENT SET'S card_count, and none of the shortfalls affects a print run written here, because every token census covers every row the page does render. Recorded so a later chase pass does not mistake them for missing research. Cornerstones Onyx (sid 200502) 31 of 32; Elemental Signatures Crystal (200595), Quartz (200598) and Marble (200596) 33 of 35 each; Franchise Pillars Quartz (200578) 24 of 25, the page stating "Total Cards: 24" and lacking FP-WRD Willis Reed; Memorabilia Prime (200600) 28 of 30, stating "Total Cards: 28" and lacking M-DG Draymond Green and M-GH Gary Harris; Memorabilia Super Prime (200601) 29 of 30, stating "Total Cards: 30" and lacking M-DD DeMar DeRozan. In five of the seven the page header agrees with its own rendered row count, which is internal consistency about an incomplete roster, not evidence of a smaller tier. What would settle it: an independent tier-level roster, which no non-tcdb source publishes for this product. • G-006 THE SET NAME IS SINGLE-SOURCED. The 35-card block at parent cards 151-185 has no tcdb sid and tcdb names it nowhere - it renders as unlabelled rows of the parent checklist flagged "AU, MEM, RC, SN199". The name "Rookie Cornerstones Autograph Relics" comes only from cardboardconnection's checklist heading "Rookie Cornerstones Autograph Relics Set Checklist: 35 cards. Serial numbered #/199." The block's EXTENT, its print run and its four colour tiers are all multi-sourced and solid; only the name rests on one source. Note also a cross-release name hazard: data/chronicles-bkb-2019-20 through 2022-23 each carry a set named exactly "Rookie Cornerstones", which is the Chronicles sub-brand subset and a different object; a resolver matching on a leading substring will confuse them. • G-007 CHANNEL IS UNKNOWN ON ALL 38 PARALLEL ROWS, WITH AN EMPTY channel_basis, AND THAT IS AN EVIDENCED REFUSAL RATHER THAN MISSING WORK. No source consulted states a trade channel or claims channel exclusivity for any tier of this product. cardboardconnection states only a box configuration, "Product Configuration: 6 cards per pack, 1 pack per box, 12 boxes per case", which describes a box and not a channel, and tcdb carries no channel field. Per EXTRACTION_SPEC section 2.3 and migrations/003_parallels.sql, channel=UNKNOWN requires channel_basis to be NULL, so "unsupported" was NOT written. Separately, the usual cheap channel and print-run shortcut is unavailable on this parent: the Notes column on Inserts.cfm carries IMAGE-COMPLETION PERCENTAGES ("53.8% of images added", "6.5% of images added") on 17 of 46 rows and is blank on the other 29, so it is the Contenders and Hoops Winter shape - a non-blank cell is not a serial statement and a blank cell carries zero information. The blank-annotation test could not be run at all on this product and was not run. • G-008 A CONVENTION DIVERGENCE INSIDE THE 2018-19 SEASON, RECORDED NOT RESOLVED. rookie_flag=no is written on all 150 base cards on a within-parent positive discriminative control: the same parent renders the token "RC" on every one of cards 151-185 and on none of cards 1-150, across four fetches on two endpoints, so the renderer's RC designation is demonstrably live on this page; every base subject is additionally a 2017-draft-or-earlier professional or a retired legend. Five premium 2018-19 releases already in the catalogue write UNKNOWN on every base card instead - immaculate-bkb-2018-19, impeccable-bkb-2018-19, nattreasures-bkb-2018-19 and opulence-bkb-2018-19 (100 rows each) and flawless-bkb-2018-19 (159). dominion-bkb-2018-19, contenders-bkb-2018-19, contendersoptic-bkb-2018-19 and threads-bkb-2018-19 write "no" on the same evidence shape this release used. Same season, same manufacturer, two conventions, and nothing on either row tells a consumer which one it is under. • G-010 RELEASE DATE CORROBORATION, AND THE MISSING THIRD SOURCE. 2019-03-20 rests on two sources of different editorial lineage that agree and neither of which hedges: tcdb renders "Release Date: March 20, 2019" on parent sid 195378 and cardboardconnection renders "Release Date: March 20, 2019". The words "Estimated Release Date" appear on neither, so this is a date rather than a forecast. beckett.com, the third structural source several earlier releases leaned on, was NOT consulted: reference/caveats.csv CAV-033 records it 302-redirecting to maintenance.beckett.com since at least 2026-09-20 and the round-8 briefing instructed agents not to spend fetches on it. This release therefore carries two-source corroboration where a pre-outage sibling would have had three. checklistcenter was likewise not used; per CAV-033 it and cardboardconnection are one editorial lineage, so adding it would not have been a third source. Sources: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/195378/2018-19-Panini-Cornerstones ; https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2018-19-panini-cornerstones-basketball-cards
  • G-011 THREE SETS ARE RECORDED AS HAVING NO PARALLELS AND THAT CLAIM RESTS ON ABSENCE. Downtown (sid 200564, 20 cards), Startups (200565, 40) and Unbreakables (200566, 40) have no colour tier on tcdb's Inserts.cfm listing for this parent and no PARALLEL CARDS line beneath their cardboardconnection checklist headings, where every other insert and autograph set in the product has both. The Inserts.cfm listing reconciles exactly - 42 insert entries = 12 insert and autograph sets plus their 30 colour and Prime tiers, and 4 parallel entries = the base tree - and both boundaries of the sid block were proved foreign: sid 200491 renders "2004-05 Canadian World Womens Hockey Championship" and sid 200602 renders "2018 Leaf Metal Sports Heroes - Blue Wave". The one unaccounted interior sid, 200588, sitting between Legendary Cornerstones Crystal and Quartz, is ALSO a foreign product - "2019 TLA Traders - Platinum Special", an Australian rugby league set - so this parent is interleaved, exactly as the round-8 briefing says to expect, and is not an enumerable contiguous range. A reconciling count bounds the search; it does not prove the composition. • G-012 A CARD-NUMBER ANOMALY HELD FOR THE CHASE PASS, NOT REPAIRED. 24 of the 25 Franchise Pillars rows render the prefix "FP-"; the 25th, Kyrie Irving, renders "FR-KIV" and is flagged UER. The same token and the same UER flag appear on all four of the set's colour tiers (sids 200577, 200578, 200579, 200580), so it is the catalogue's settled rendering rather than a one-page slip, and tcdb's UER flag says the catalogue believes the CARD is wrong rather than the record. Recorded verbatim and NOT normalised to "FP-KIV": re-deriving a prefix is exactly the repair the chase spec forbids. Note also that Errors.cfm on the parent returns "No errors or variations have been added for this set yet." while a UER flag is rendered on five separate subset pages of the same product - an independent reproduction of reference/caveats.csv CAV-020, on a new parent. No claim about variation sets is made anywhere in this release; the base run rests on a contiguous enumeration, not on Errors.cfm silence. Sources: https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/200576/2018-19-Panini-Cornerstones-Franchise-Pillars?sort=0 ; https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/200577/2018-19-Panini-Cornerstones-Franchise-Pillars-Crystal ; https://www.tcdb.com/Errors.cfm/sid/195378/2018-19-Panini-Cornerstones
  • G-013 SET NAMES DIVERGE BETWEEN THE TWO SOURCES AND THE tcdb FORM WAS USED, BECAUSE IT IS WHAT THE CHECKLIST ITSELF PRINTS. cardboardconnection renders "Cornerstones Auto Relics", "Legendary Cornerstones Auto Relics", "Franchise Pillars Autographs", "Foundations Memorabilia" and "Building Blocks Memorabilia"; tcdb renders "Cornerstones", "Legendary Cornerstones", "Franchise Pillars", "Foundations" and "Building Blocks Memorabilia". Only the last agrees. A chase pass matching set_name byte for byte against cardboardconnection will miss four of twelve sets. Note separately that tcdb MISSPELLS one of its own entries - both its Inserts.cfm row and the set page itself read "Buiding Blocks Memorabilia Super Prime" - and that the correct spelling was used for that tier's parallels.csv scope. Sources: https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2018-19-panini-cornerstones-basketball-cards ; https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/195378/2018-19-Panini-Cornerstones ; https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/200498/2018-19-Panini-Cornerstones-Building-Blocks-Memorabilia-Super-Prime
  • G-014 THE "SOPHOMORE" CLAIM IS NOT CHASED AND THE SECTION 5.5 CHECKS BOTH COME BACK EMPTY. cardboardconnection calls this product "The sophomore NBA card effort", which implies a 2017-18 Cornerstones edition outside this catalogue. That predecessor was deliberately not pursued. What WAS checked: tcdb files NO prior-season subset under this parent - the Inserts.cfm listing holds 46 entries, all of them 2018-19 Cornerstones sets or their tiers, with no 2017-18 block and no Update block - so the section 5.5 case does not arise here. The mirror case cannot arise either: specs/2018-19_SCOPE_MEMO.md section 6 records Cornerstones as genuinely ending at 2018-19, so there is no next-season parent under which a "2018-19 Cornerstones Update" could be filed, and the catalogue has no sibling Cornerstones season in any direction. This release therefore has ZERO structural precedent - every value in it was sourced independently and none was sanity-checked against a prior year's shape. Sources: https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2018-19-panini-cornerstones-basketball-cards ; https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/195378/2018-19-Panini-Cornerstones ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewAll.cfm/sp/Basketball/year/2018
  • G-015 CARD-LEVEL CHECKLISTS FOR THE THIRTEEN INSERT AND AUTOGRAPH SETS ARE NOT WRITTEN HERE - that is the separate pass governed by CHASE_CHECKLIST_SPEC.md and insert_cards.csv is deliberately absent. Recording what this build already read, so the chase pass does not pay for it twice. Eleven of the twelve sid-bearing sets are LETTER-CODED and the codes were rendered in full on their base pages: Cornerstones CS-, Legendary Cornerstones LC-, Elemental Signatures ES-, Elusive Ink EI-, Franchise Pillars FP- (with the FR-KIV exception in G-012), Keystone Signatures KS-, Building Blocks Memorabilia BB-, Foundations FM-, Memorabilia M-. Downtown is a plain 1-20 run; Startups and Unbreakables render 40 rows each with the number column not captured by this pass. Two genuine code collisions are already known and must be written verbatim rather than dropped: LC-JSK is both John Stockton and Jack Sikma, and the Memorabilia two-letter suffixes put M-DB on Dillon Brooks and Devin Booker, M-DG on Draymond Green and Danny Green, and M-JB on Jaylen Brown and Jimmy Butler.
