  • G-001 Base set size disagreement: Beckett.com/news and TCDB both state a 140-card base set (#1-100 base + #101-140 Rookie Silhouettes); Sportscardchecklist and Checklist Center give a 100-card base set. Recorded as 100 because #101-140 are autograph+memorabilia cards serial-numbered /199 (TCDB shows RC, AU, MEM, SN199), so they are captured in sets.csv as the Rookie Silhouettes autograph set.
  • G-002 cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-crown-royale-basketball-cards could not be read (robots.txt disallowed on every attempt), so the single most reliable source for this pipeline is missing for this release. All parallel print runs rest on Beckett + Checklist Center instead.
  • G-003 Asia Gold and Asia Red print runs are unverified. Beckett states the print runs were not announced; no source (Beckett, Checklist Center, TCDB, Breakninja, Sportscardchecklist, Steel City Collectibles, DA Card World) gives a serial number. Recorded as unnumbered by inference from their absence from the numbered ladder.
  • G-004 The plain "Crystal" base parallel print run is unverified. Every source lists it alongside numbered parallels without a number; recorded as unnumbered by inference, not by an explicit statement.
  • G-005 Parallel naming order disagreement: Beckett writes colour-first ("Blue Crystal - /99", "Red Crystal - /49", "Purple Crystal - /25", "Green Crystal FOTL - /21", "Gold Crystal - /10", "Black Crystal FOTL - /4", "Platinum Crystal - 1/1"); TCDB, Breakninja, Checklist Center and Sportscardchecklist write Crystal-first ("Crystal Blue", "Crystal Red", ...). The Crystal-first majority form is used in parallels.csv.
  • G-006 Distribution channel for the Lucky Envelopes /8 base parallel is unstated. Beckett and Checklist Center list it inside the hobby ladder, but the name suggests a Panini Asia promotion. Recorded as UNKNOWN. [REVIEWED 2026-08-17: still open; 3 of 11 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 3 of 11 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 3 of 11 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 3 of 11 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 3 of 11 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 3 of 11 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 3 of 11 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 3 of 11 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 3 of 11 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 3 of 11 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 3 of 11 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 3 of 11 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 3 of 11 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 3 of 11 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 3 of 11 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 3 of 11 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 3 of 11 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 3 of 11 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 3 of 11 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 3 of 11 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 3 of 11 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 3 of 11 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 3 of 11 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: count is now 59 of 67 - the channel pass resolved -56 of these with cited evidence. • G-007 Crown Autographs card count disagreement: Beckett and Sportscardchecklist give 57; Checklist Center gives 60 (#/99). 57 recorded.
  • G-008 Crown Jewel Signatures card count disagreement: Sportscardchecklist gives 6 for the base version (with an 8-card FOTL version); Checklist Center gives 8 (#/49); Beckett gives 6. 6 recorded.
  • G-009 Royal Signatures (28 vs 29) and Regal Achievements Signatures (16 vs 17) card counts disagree between Beckett/Sportscardchecklist and Checklist Center. The Beckett/Sportscardchecklist figures are recorded.
  • G-010 Knights of the Round Table Jersey Auto card count disagreement: Sportscardchecklist gives 28 for the base jersey auto; Checklist Center gives 30 (#/99). 28 recorded.
  • G-011 Insert print runs are single-source (checklistcenter.com only): Air to the Throne #/99, Rookie Royalty #/99, Sno Globe #/99, Test of Time #/99. Sportscardchecklist instead shows these sets with unnumbered base versions plus numbered Blue/Gold/Platinum/Purple/Red parallels, which contradicts a #/99 base. Print runs therefore left out of sets.csv card_count and only described in notes.
  • G-012 No published numeric pull odds exist for Kaboom! in this release. Panini's own first-look calls it "unique, SSP"; Beckett calls Kaboom! "among the toughest cards to find in the entire release"; breakers opening 16-box cases title their videos "2 KABOOM! CASE HITS!", implying roughly 1-2 per case. No Panini odds sheet or wrapper odds line for 2020-21 Crown Royale Basketball could be located, so scarcity_sets.csv records tier SSP with a blank stated_odds.
  • G-013 No Kaboom! parallel ladder could be confirmed for this release. TCDB, Breakninja and Sportscardchecklist each show exactly one 25-card Kaboom! set with no Asia/colour/FOTL variants, unlike every other insert in the product. Absence of evidence rather than a positive statement that none exist.
  • G-014 Release date 2021-05-05 is consistent across Beckett, Checklist Center and TCDB, and Panini's blog says "Estimated release date: May 5" - i.e. the manufacturer figure is an estimate, not a confirmed street date.
  • G-015 This release's notes describe base cards or a base subset as serial-numbered, but the figure is only in prose and could not be resolved into structured data. base_print_run is UNKNOWN rather than guessed. Resolving it needs either a base_card_tiers partition for this release or a re-read of the source that stated the run.
  • G-016 This release's notes describe base cards or a base subset as serial-numbered, but the figure is only in prose and could not be resolved into structured data. base_print_run is UNKNOWN rather than guessed. Resolving it needs either a base_card_tiers partition for this release or a re-read of the source that stated the run.
  • G-017 This release's notes describe base cards or a base subset as serial-numbered, but the figure is only in prose and could not be resolved into structured data. base_print_run is UNKNOWN rather than guessed. Resolving it needs either a base_card_tiers partition for this release or a re-read of the source that stated the run.
  • G-018 This release's notes describe base cards or a base subset as serial-numbered, but the figure is only in prose and could not be resolved into structured data. base_print_run is UNKNOWN rather than guessed. Resolving it needs either a base_card_tiers partition for this release or a re-read of the source that stated the run.
  • G-019 Crown Autographs: the tcdb base page https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/268101/2020-21-Panini-Crown-Royale-Crown-Autographs renders exactly 57 rows ("Total Cards: 57"), matching sets.csv card_count 57, while the Gold parallel https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/268105/2020-21-Panini-Crown-Royale-Crown-Autographs-Gold renders 60 ("Total Cards: 60"). The three extra codes are CA-DMI Donovan Mitchell, CA-DRO Dennis Rodman and CA-JOK Josh Okogie; CA-JOK also appears on the Blue parallel https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/268104/2020-21-Panini-Crown-Royale-Crown-Autographs-Blue ("Total Cards: 31"). This is the 57-vs-60 disagreement already logged as G-007, now located to three named players. Not written: sets.csv sides with the base page, so these are recorded as parallel-tier scope rather than recovered base cards. Resolving needs an independent roster or a marketplace listing showing one of these three at the base print run.
  • G-020 Royal Signatures: RS-CBK Charles Barkley is evidenced for this release but is NOT on the tcdb base page (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/268146/2020-21-Panini-Crown-Royale-Royal-Signatures, "Total Cards: 28", 28 rows rendered, no Barkley). It IS on the FOTL parallel page https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/268147/2020-21-Panini-Crown-Royale-Royal-Signatures-FOTL ("Total Cards: 27") and on goldin.co lot https://goldin.co/item/2020-21-panini-crown-royale-royal-signatures-rs-cbk-charles-barkley-sifdcmp ("2020-21 Panini Crown Royale Royal Signatures #RS-CBK Charles Barkley Signed Card (#12/49)"). This is very likely the 29th card that Checklist Center reports (see G-009). Withheld because parallels.csv carries print_run UNKNOWN for the Royal Signatures FOTL tier, so the lot's /49 cannot discriminate a base card from a FOTL card, and writing it would exceed sets.csv card_count 28. Resolving needs the FOTL print run. NOTE the FOTL page is not a superset of the base page: it lacks RS-EBY Elgin Baylor and RS-ORB Oscar Robertson, so the union across the two tiers is 29 cards.
  • G-021 Regal Achievements Signatures: RA-ZWL Zion Williamson appears on the FOTL parallel page https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/268125/2020-21-Panini-Crown-Royale-Regal-Achievements-Signatures-FOTL ("Total Cards: 12") but not on the base page https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/268124/2020-21-Panini-Crown-Royale-Regal-Achievements-Signatures ("Total Cards: 16", 16 rows rendered), which matches sets.csv card_count 16. This is a candidate for the 17th card Checklist Center reports (see G-009). Withheld as parallel-tier scope because sets.csv sides with the base page and no non-tcdb source for this set could be located.
  • G-022 Crown Jewel Signatures: the base page https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/268109/2020-21-Panini-Crown-Royale-Crown-Jewel-Signatures renders 6 rows ("Total Cards: 6"), matching sets.csv card_count 6, while the FOTL page https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/268110/2020-21-Panini-Crown-Royale-Crown-Jewel-Signatures-FOTL renders 8 ("Total Cards: 8"). The tiers are NOT nested: FOTL adds CJ-CBA Charles Barkley, CJ-SON Shaquille O'Neal and CJ-ZWL Zion Williamson and lacks CJ-KDR Kevin Durant, so the union across both tiers is 9 cards against the 6 and 8 already logged in G-008. The three FOTL-only codes are withheld as parallel-tier scope. No non-tcdb source for this set could be located.
  • G-023 Knights of the Round Table Jersey Auto: the base page https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/268119/2020-21-Panini-Crown-Royale-Knights-of-the-Round-Table-Jersey-Auto renders 28 rows ("Total Cards: 28"), matching sets.csv card_count 28, while the Prime parallel https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/268120/2020-21-Panini-Crown-Royale-Knights-of-the-Round-Table-Jersey-Auto-Prime renders 30 ("Total Cards: 30"). Prime adds KR-DMI Donovan Mitchell and KR-MFL Markelle Fultz, which are withheld as parallel-tier scope (this is the 28-vs-30 disagreement logged as G-010, now located to two named players). SEPARATELY, the two pages disagree on the token for Magic Johnson: the base page renders KR-MJN and the Prime page renders KR-MJO for the same player. A parallel prints the same number as its base card, so one of the two tcdb pages is wrong. The base-page form KR-MJN is written and flagged in insert_cards.csv; nothing available settles which is printed.
  • G-024 Crown Autographs, contested card number for Jason Richardson. tcdb renders CA-JRC on five separate views: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/268101/2020-21-Panini-Crown-Royale-Crown-Autographs, https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/268101/2020-21-Panini-Crown-Royale---Crown-Autographs, https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/268101/2020-21-Panini-Crown-Royale---Crown-Autographs?PageIndex=3, the Blue parallel https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/268104/2020-21-Panini-Crown-Royale-Crown-Autographs-Blue and the Gold parallel https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/268105/2020-21-Panini-Crown-Royale-Crown-Autographs-Gold. An eBay listing reads CA-JRS in its free-text title, its item-specific Card Number field AND its catalogue breadcrumb: https://www.ebay.com/itm/366254045640 ("2020-21 Panini Crown Royale Crown Auto /75 Jason Richardson #CA-JRS Warriors"). Because all three eBay occurrences are one source, CA-JRC was written on the weight of five independent tcdb renderings, but the spec ranks a seller free-text title above tcdb and this one disagrees. Resolving needs a second, independent marketplace listing for this card.
  • G-025 Crown Autographs, duplicate card number: CA-MBG is rendered on two different players, Malcolm Brogdon and Muggsy Bogues, on https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/268101/2020-21-Panini-Crown-Royale-Crown-Autographs and again on the Gold parallel https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/268105/2020-21-Panini-Crown-Royale-Crown-Autographs-Gold. The initials fit both players (Malcolm BroGdon / Muggsy BoGues), which is the genuine-collision shape. The cid-adjacency test that would otherwise discriminate a data-entry smear from a real collision is DISARMED here: the cids run strictly sequentially in display order across the neighbourhood (CA-LLG 16499768, CA-MBG Brogdon 16499769, CA-MBG Bogues 16499770, CA-MJO 16499771), so adjacency carries no information. Both rows are written verbatim and flagged. Resolving needs a marketplace listing for either player carrying a full code.
  • G-026 tcdb-only card numbers: Hall of Fame Memorabilia (HF-), Silhouettes (SL-) and Crown Jewel Signatures (CJ-). No non-tcdb source carrying a full letter code for these three sets could be located in this pass; searches on the code shapes returned only sibling-season Crown Royale cards (e.g. https://www.ebay.com/p/19061022831 "2021-22 Panini Crown Royale - Hall of Fame Memorabilia James Worthy #HM-JWT", which uses a DIFFERENT prefix, HM-, and therefore does not corroborate this season). Each of the three was instead re-verified through a second independent tcdb endpoint (Gallery.cfm for Hall of Fame Memorabilia and Silhouettes), which returned identical tokens, but that is one catalogue read twice, not corroboration. The rows are written; the single-source status is recorded here.
  • G-027 Air to the Throne print run - CONTRADICTS the doubt recorded in G-011. G-011 records that the #/99 base print run for Air to the Throne, Rookie Royalty, Sno Globe and Test of Time is single-source (checklistcenter.com only) and that sportscardchecklist contradicts it by showing unnumbered base versions. tcdb independently corroborates checklistcenter for Air to the Throne: every one of the 10 rows on https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/268090/2020-21-Panini-Crown-Royale-Air-to-the-Throne carries the flag string SN99 (e.g. "AIR-AZ | Anthony Edwards / Zion Williamson SN99"). That is a second, independent source for a serial-numbered /99 base version of this set. Note this evidence covers Air to the Throne ONLY; the other three sets in G-011 were not checked for the flag in this pass. sets.csv was not modified.
  • G-028 Chase-checklist run 2026-09-11 summary. All 16 previously unstarted insert/autograph sets were resolved in full: 442 rows written, and every set's row count equals its sets.csv card_count exactly (Air to the Throne 10, Rookie Royalty 40, Sno Globe 30, Test of Time 20, Coat of Arms 20, Hall of Fame Memorabilia 10, Heirs to the Throne 40, Knights of the Round Table 30, Crown Autographs 57, Rookie Crown Autographs 40, Rookie Silhouettes 40, Silhouettes 27, Royal Signatures 28, Regal Achievements Signatures 16, Crown Jewel Signatures 6, Knights of the Round Table Jersey Auto 28). With the 25 Kaboom! rows already present, insert_cards.csv now holds 467 of the 467 cards sets.csv describes. Enumeration: https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/263017/2020-21-Panini-Crown-Royale lists 79 entries in one perfectly contiguous sid run, 268090-268168 (79 = 268168-268090+1), with no numeric gaps to probe; 16 of our 17 non-base sets map to a base sid there and the 17th, Rookie Silhouettes, has no sid because it is filed inside the parent checklist at 101-140. Nothing is hidden inside the insert block. NOT CHECKED in this pass: sids BELOW 268090 were not probed, so uncatalogued base-set parallels (the Crystal ladder) may exist outside this listing - that is out of scope for chase checklists but is the known blind spot of a clean Inserts.cfm reconciliation. Open items from this run: G-019 to G-026.
