• G-003 Release date disagreement: checklistinsider, gogts and smokeandmirrorshobby state May 8 2024; breakninja states May 3 2024. Recorded 2024-05-08 on the 3-source majority.
• G-004 No manufacturer pack odds (e.g. "1:x packs", "x per case") were published for any set in this product in any accessible source. Panini did not release an odds sheet for 2023-24 Crown Royale. scarcity_sets.csv therefore carries a tier but a blank stated_odds.
• G-005 FOTL parallel name word order differs by source: checklistcenter renders "Crystal Green FOTL" / "Crystal Black FOTL"; checklistinsider renders "Crystal FOTL Green" / "Crystal FOTL Black". Recorded the checklistcenter form; the printed-on-card form is unverified.
• G-006 No published base checklist carries RC designations (confirmed absent on cardsmithsbreaks). All 100 base cards recorded with rookie_flag=UNKNOWN even though rookies are known to be inside the base numbering.
• G-007 single-source (checklistinsider only) card counts: Treasured Autographs (30), Monarch Memorabilia (10), Silhouettes Auto Relics (21). checklistcenter omits these three sets entirely; gogts confirms the first two exist but gives no counts.
• G-008 Set naming varies by source (Crown Autographs/Crown Auto; Rookie Crown Autographs/Rookie Crown Auto; Rookie Silhouettes Auto Relics/Rookie Silhouettes Auto; Royal Rookie Showcase/Royal Rookie Showcase Auto; Noblemen Autographs/Noblemen). Card counts agree; exact printed set names unverified.
• G-009 giantsportscards.com product copy mentions a "Neutron parallel numbered to 125" for this product. No other source lists a Neutron parallel for 2023-24 Crown Royale Basketball; treated as retailer copy contamination and EXCLUDED from parallels.csv.
• G-010 waxstat.com lists a "2024-25 Panini Crown Royale Basketball International" hobby box/case (release date May 30 2025) tagged NBA, but the page states "No checklist available for this product" and all pricing is N/A. checklistinsider has no 2024-25 Crown Royale NBA page (404). Treated as an auto-generated placeholder, not evidence of a 2024-25 NBA release.
• G-011 Kaboom! card numbers 1-25 are taken from TCDB and checklistcenter listing order rather than an explicitly numbered column. Corroborated against live marketplace listings for #4 Ja Morant, #7 Giannis Antetokounmpo and #14 Gradey Dick, all of which match.
• G-012 breakninja.com and blowoutcards.com could not be used as parallel cross-checks (breakninja does not surface parallel data on the checklist page; blowoutcards served a bot-challenge page).
• G-013 Card-level checklists for all non-Kaboom inserts and autographs are out of scope per the extraction spec; only names and counts were captured.
• G-014 tcdb files 25 PRIOR-SEASON subsets under this release's parent sid 411528 (Inserts.cfm sids 434532-434556), titled "2020-21 / 2021-22 / 2022-23 Panini Crown Royale Update I: <set>". They ship in these packs but are a different product on a different numbering scheme, and are EXCLUDED from insert_cards.csv per spec. • G-015 "Rookie Silhouettes Auto Relics" has NO base sid on tcdb - only the four parallel sids 434497 (FOTL), 434498 (FOTL Premium), 434499 (Prime), 434500 (Super Prime). Its base cards are filed inside the PARENT checklist as a numbered block past the 100-card base run: https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/411528/2023-24-Panini-Crown-Royale?PageIndex=2 renders card numbers 101-140 flagged "(RS, AU, MEM, RC, SN99)"/"(RS, AU, MEM, RC, SN125)", and the parent's set-note reads verbatim "Rookie Silhouettes #101-140 serial numbered to 99 or 125". Parent states "Total Cards: 134" against base_set_size 100. All 38 cards resolved (block 101-140 with 121 and 133 unissued) by unioning the parent page (34 rows) with the FOTL parallel https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/434497/2023-24-Panini-Crown-Royale-Rookie-Silhouettes-FOTL (34 rows, 4 of them not on the parent page). This is a PLAIN-INTEGER scheme on an autograph-relic set, which is the opposite of Panini's usual letter-coding, so it was corroborated independently against a fetched retail listing title at https://shop.warriors.com/brandin-podziemski-golden-state-warriors-autographed-2023-24-panini-crown-royale-logo-relic-number-108-number-18/25-rookie-card/p-139936121892533916+z-91-3730712319 reading "Brandin Podziemski Golden State Warriors Autographed 2023-24 Panini Crown Royale Logo Relic #108 #18/25 Rookie Card". No SECOND fetched marketplace title was obtained; corroboration rests on one retail listing plus tcdb's own set-note.
• G-016 PREFIX COLLISION INSIDE THIS RELEASE: the prefix RS- is printed on BOTH "Royal Rookie Showcase" (38 cards, https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/434501/2023-24-Panini-Crown-Royale-Royal-Rookie-Showcase) and "Royal Signatures" (19 cards, https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/434504/2023-24-Panini-Crown-Royale-Royal-Signatures). RS-BIL (Bilal Coulibaly) and RS-KEY (Keyonte George) each exist in BOTH sets on different cards. (set_name, card_number) is the only safe key; a resolver keyed on card_number alone will mis-hit.
• G-017 Printed codes repeated on two players WITHIN one set, all written verbatim and flagged per spec (chase_cards is unique on set_id+card_number+player_name): KRT-VAN = Fred VanVleet AND Jarred Vanderbilt (Knights of the Round Table, https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/434457/2023-24-Panini-Crown-Royale-Knights-of-the-Round-Table); RS-ANT = Anthony Edwards AND Carmelo Anthony (Royal Signatures, https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/434504/2023-24-Panini-Crown-Royale-Royal-Signatures); TA-WAL = Rasheed Wallace AND Bill Walton (Treasured Autographs, https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/434529/2023-24-Panini-Crown-Royale-Treasured-Autographs). Each is n=2 with a plausible initials fit for both players, i.e. a genuine collision rather than a four-plus-player data-entry smear.
• G-018 SET-RENAME / PREFIX FINDING for the Silhouettes family. tcdb names this season's sets "Silhouettes" (sid 434506) and "Rookie Silhouettes" (parallels only); sets.csv names them "Silhouettes Auto Relics" and "Rookie Silhouettes Auto Relics". Mapping was done on card_count plus the FOTL/FOTL Premium/Prime/Super Prime parallel family, not on name. The 2023-24 set prints SL- codes. Prior-season evidence, read from the Update I subsets filed under this same parent: 2020-21 Update I Silhouettes prints SL- (SL-ZLV, https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/434535/2020-21-Panini-Crown-Royale-Update-I-Silhouettes); 2021-22 Update I Silhouettes prints SL- (SL-DSB/SL-JRD/SL-KHM/SL-PJW, https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/434542/2021-22-Panini-Crown-Royale-Update-I-Silhouettes); 2022-23 Update I Silhouettes prints S- (S-ASM/S-JRD/S-KAT/S-LSP/S-VOD, https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/434552/2022-23-Panini-Crown-Royale-Update-I-Silhouettes). So the sequence is SL- / SL- / S- / SL-: the 2023-24 rename coincides with a REVERSION to the pre-2022-23 prefix, not a new one. CAVEAT: this prefix history is read from Update I subsets (4-5 cards each) filed under the 2023-24 parent, NOT from those seasons' own main Silhouettes sets, which were not fetched. Rookie Silhouettes changed scheme entirely rather than prefix - it carries no letter code at all this season (plain 101-140; see G-015).
• G-019 PRE-EXISTING FORMAT DEFECT, NOT INTRODUCED BY THIS PASS: the 25 Kaboom! rows already in insert_cards.csv carry notes reading "Confirmed by TCDB and checklistcenter (identical 25-card list)..." with NO resolvable https:// URL, which fails the spec's notes-must-carry-a-full-URL rule. This pass was instructed not to edit those rows so they were left byte-identical. The checklist itself is CORRECT: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/434451/2023-24-Panini-Crown-Royale-Kaboom states "Total Cards: 25" and renders card numbers 1-25 with players and teams identical to all 25 stored rows. That URL is the citation a repair pass should insert.
• G-020 ENDPOINT BEHAVIOUR: on this release a tcdb BASE set page is repeatedly SHORT of its own sets.csv count while a PARALLEL page renders the full roster, and the most complete tier is not predictable. Crown Autographs base renders 56 and states 56, Blue 52, Pink 52, Red 51, Gold 57, Platinum 57, and International Gold renders the full 59 (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/434429/2023-24-PaniniCrownRoyale-CrownAutographsInternationalGold). Rookie Crown Autographs base renders 39, Gold/Pink/Platinum/Red 38, International Gold the full 40 (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/434482/2023-24-Panini-Crown-Royale-Rookie-Crown-Autographs-International-Gold). Future Kings Signatures base 31 vs FOTL 34, union 36. Knights of the Round Table base 29 vs Prime 28, union 30. In every case sets.csv (built without fetching tcdb) sides with the larger union, so these are recoveries, not parallel scope. Tiers are NOT nested: each of these parallels also OMITS cards the base page has.
• G-021 Crown Autographs: 58 of 59 cards written. The 59th row renders the literal string "TBD" in the card-number column for Lonnie Walker IV (Brooklyn Nets), on the complete International Gold page https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/434429/2023-24-PaniniCrownRoyale-CrownAutographsInternationalGold. "TBD" is a tcdb placeholder, not a printed number, so the row is withheld and the player named here. Player roster is therefore complete at 59; only the one card_number is unresolved.
• G-022 Majestic Signatures: 18 of 20 cards written. Two rows render the literal string "TBD" in the card-number column - Russell Westbrook (Los Angeles Clippers) and Yao Ming (Houston Rockets) - on both the base page https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/434460/2023-24-Panini-Crown-Royale-Majestic-Signatures and the FOTL parallel https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/434461/2023-24-Panini-Crown-Royale-Majestic-Signatures-FOTL, so the parallel-page test came back inconclusive. Errors.cfm for this sid returned no UER entries. Rows withheld, players named here; roster complete at 20.
• G-023 Royal Signatures: 16 of 19 cards written. Three rows render the literal string "TBD" in the card-number column - Brandon Ingram (New Orleans Pelicans), Paul Pierce (Boston Celtics) and Russell Westbrook (Los Angeles Clippers) - on both the base page https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/434504/2023-24-Panini-Crown-Royale-Royal-Signatures and the FOTL parallel https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/434505/2023-24-Panini-Crown-Royale-Royal-Signatures-FOTL. Rows withheld, players named here; roster complete at 19.
• G-024 RUN SUMMARY 2026-09-11, insert/autograph checklist fill for the 22 previously-unstarted sets (575 catalogued cards; Kaboom!'s 25 were already complete and were not touched). 569 of 575 rows written. 19 of 22 sets reconcile EXACTLY against sets.csv card_count. The only 3 incomplete sets are Crown Autographs (58/59), Majestic Signatures (18/20) and Royal Signatures (16/19), short by a combined 6 rows, and in every case for the SAME reason: tcdb stores the literal string "TBD" in the card-number column and the parallel-page test did not recover a code. Every withheld player is named in G-021/G-022/G-023, so the rosters are complete at 100% and only 6 card_numbers are unresolved. Primary source tcdb.com throughout, via ViewSet.cfm which on this release renders the full checklist inline with card number, player AND team in one fetch (verified to 59 rows on sid 434429). Source calibration: tcdb's Kaboom! page reproduced the 25 already-stored Kaboom! rows number-for-number and team-for-team, a known answer, before any new set was trusted. team_or_school is filled for every row of every set from the same rendered pages. No aggregator (checklistcenter, cardsmithsbreaks, checklistinsider, beckett) was used for any card_number.
