- G-001 Release date disagreement. Cardboard Connection shows "Estimated Release Date: November 6, 2019"; DA Card World states December 13th, 2019 and Steel City Collectibles states 12/13/19. release.csv uses 2019-12-13 (two agreeing retailers, and Cardboard Connection's value is explicitly labelled an estimate). Retail SKUs shipped later still: DA Card World dates the Jumbo Value pack to 2020-01-01 and Steel City dates the blaster and hanger boxes to 2020-04-15.
- G-002 beckett.com/news returned HTTP 403 on every attempt, so Beckett could not be used as a cross-check for base set size, parallels, insert counts or release date.
- G-003 Channel for Press Proof Silver /349 and Press Proof Purple /199 is not itemised by any source. They are recorded as channel=multi by inference: DA Card World names only Red/Blue/Gold/Black Laser as hobby-exclusive, implying Silver and Purple appear in both hobby and retail. Not directly sourced. - G-004 Channel unknown for Holo Pink Laser /50, Holo Red and Blue Laser /15 and Holo Purple and Green Laser /10. The names and print runs are confirmed by two sources but no product page, checklist or retailer states which SKU (hobby, blaster, hanger or cello) they come from. - G-005 Print run for the "Infinite" (Rated Rookies only, cards 201-250) parallel is not stated by any source. sportscardchecklist lists it as a 50-card set and checklistcenter as "Infinite RC (Rated Rookie Only)", neither with a serial number. Recorded as unnumbered - unverified.
- G-006 Product attribution conflict for the Infinite family (Red /99, Blue /35, Gold /10, Black 1/1 and the Rated-Rookie-only Infinite). Panini America's blog states these are exclusives of the companion 2019-20 Donruss Choice product, while checklistcenter and sportscardchecklist catalogue them inside the flagship 2019-20 Donruss checklist as 250-card base parallels. They are included here with channel=choice, matching the treatment of Choice parallels in the Donruss Optic 2019-20 record. - G-007 The paper-Donruss parallel names Career Stat Line, Season Stat Line and Diamond were searched for specifically and NOT found for this release in any source (they appear in Donruss baseball/football, not 2019-20 Donruss Basketball). Absence is inferred from sportscardchecklist's exhaustive per-parallel set index, which lists 20 base parallel sets and none of those three. Recorded here so the absence is explicit rather than an oversight.
- G-008 "Rookie Jersey Kings Prime" (40 cards) is single-source (sportscardchecklist only). checklistcenter lists Jersey Kings Prime and Jersey Series Prime but no Rookie Jersey Kings Prime.
- G-009 checklistcenter's own summary counts are internally inconsistent: it announces "14" insert sets but enumerates 12, and "10" autograph/memorabilia sets but enumerates 11. sets.csv follows the enumerated names (which match sportscardchecklist exactly), not the announced totals.
- G-010 Card-level base checklist (player names and teams for all 250 cards) is effectively single-source: checklistcenter is the only consulted source that publishes a numbered 1-250 list. Cardboard Connection, gogts and breakninja confirm the 250-card size and the 200 veterans / 50 Rated Rookies split but do not expose a numbered list to cross-check individual entries against.
- G-011 A first pass of checklistcenter returned card 151 as a duplicate of card 145 (Mo Bamba); a targeted re-fetch of 145-160 resolved 151 as Nikola Vucevic (Orlando Magic). Other ranges were not individually re-fetched, so a similar truncation artifact elsewhere in the 250 cannot be fully excluded, though a programmatic duplicate check across all 250 rows found no other repeats.
- G-012 Holo Purple Laser is stated to be blaster-exclusive by two retailers (DA Card World, Steel City Collectibles) yet checklistcenter numbers it /15. A serial number that low for a mass retail blaster exclusive is unusual; either the print run or the channel may be wrong. Both are recorded as sourced. - G-013 Base parallel print runs come from a single lineage (checklistcenter). Independent confirmation was obtained only for Press Proof Silver /349 (market listings), Press Proof Gold Laser /10 and Press Proof Black Laser /1 (DA Card World, gogts), and the Infinite runs /99, /35, /10, 1/1 (Panini blog). The eight Holo Laser print runs and Press Proof Purple /199 rest on checklistcenter alone.
- G-014 Naming conflict on the hobby parallels. Cardboard Connection, breakninja and one DA Card World bullet print them as bare "Red Laser, Blue Laser, Gold Laser, Black Laser"; a second DA Card World bullet and sportscardchecklist print them as "Press Proof Red/Blue/Gold/Black Laser". checklistcenter lists them under Press Proof as bare colours (Red /99, Blue /49, Gold /10, Black 1/1). parallels.csv uses the sportscardchecklist form (Press Proof <colour> Laser) since that source names each parallel as its own catalogued 250-card set.
- G-015 No mega box was found for paper 2019-20 Donruss Basketball. Searches surfaced only the 2019-20 Donruss OPTIC Walmart mega box. Absence of a paper mega SKU is inferred from search coverage, not from an explicit statement, so a Target/Walmart paper mega cannot be fully ruled out.
- G-016 Insert and autograph card counts are two-source (checklistcenter and sportscardchecklist) and the two agree exactly, but they may share an upstream checklist lineage; Beckett (403) could not provide an independent third check. Cardboard Connection and DA Card World confirm the set NAMES and channel exclusivity but publish no counts. - G-017 Signature Series resolved 73 of 100 cards. The set uses printed letter codes (SS-xxx), confirmed against tcdb; but the tcdb checklist page body reaches our fetcher only as far as SS-NZR, so the final ~27 codes are unresolved. No alternative source printing the real codes was found: sportscardspro's 'signature series' page for this product returned 2020-21 players (LaMelo Ball, James Wiseman) i.e. the wrong release; checklistcenter and breakninja have no reachable per-set page for 19-20 Donruss; direct HTTP to all checklist hosts is blocked by egress policy. A repeat attempt asking the fetcher to continue past the cut produced FABRICATED rows (2020 draftees Saddiq Bey, Zeke Nnaji, Theo Maledon in a 2019-20 set) which were discarded, not written.
- G-018 Jersey Series resolved 78 of 100 cards. Coded JS-xxx, verified by re-fetching the JS-K subset verbatim. The tcdb page body reaches our fetcher only as far as JS-PML; the remaining ~22 codes are unresolved. A fetch asking for the JS-N..JS-Z tail returned fabricated rows (invented 'JS-OKG Okaro White', Shai Gilgeous-Alexander listed on the Clippers, and codes contradicting the Jersey Series Prime page: JS-NPL vs JS-NNL, JS-QRD vs JS-QWS). Those rows were discarded.
- G-019 Jersey Series Prime resolved 73 of 84 cards. Coded JS-xxx, sharing codes with Jersey Series (the two corroborate each other on every overlapping row). The tcdb page body reaches our fetcher only as far as JS-RUI; the remaining ~11 codes are unresolved.
- G-020 Dominator Signatures resolved 29 of 30 cards. tcdb prints the card number DS-TYG on TWO rows, for Thaddeus Young and for Trae Young - the number cannot identify both. TYG is Thaddeus Young's established Panini suffix (2019-20 Contenders CA-TYG, Prizm Fast Break FB-TYG), and the Optic sibling set numbers Trae Young DS-TRY, so the Thaddeus Young row was written and the Trae Young row was OMITTED rather than stored against a colliding identifier. Trae Young's true printed Dominator Signatures number in paper Donruss is unresolved; do not assume DS-TRY without a paper-Donruss citation.
- G-021 League Leaders: the tcdb checklist prints James Harden at BOTH #1 and #10 (Houston Rockets both times). Transcribed as printed since the card numbers differ and a league-leaders set can legitimately honour one player in two statistical categories, but the pair was not corroborated against a second source and may be a source error.
- G-022 Naming disagreement confirmed for Rated Rookies Signatures: the dealer listing used to corroborate the numbering (basketballcardguy.com, Tyler Herro #212) prints 'Rated Rookies Signatures' (plural), agreeing with our sets.csv row, while Cardboard Connection and checklistcenter print 'Rated Rookie Signatures'. Recorded for the resolver; sets.csv NOT changed.
- G-023 RETROACTIVE TRUNCATION-RECOVERY SWEEP 2026-09-07. These checklists were completed before Gallery.cfm?PageIndex=N was known, and Checklist.cfm had silently truncated three of them. Endpoints used: Gallery.cfm?PageIndex=N (paginates 10 per page by card INDEX and exposes a 'Total Cards' value readable even on an out-of-range page), ChecklistByLastName.cfm (roster/team only, never for card_number) and Errors.cfm. RECOVERED 61 rows, all four sets now reconcile EXACTLY to sets.csv: Signature Series 73->100, Jersey Series 78->100, Jersey Series Prime 73->84, Dominator Signatures 29->30. Truncation was proven, not assumed: the previously-held rows stopped dead in alphabetical code order (SS- at SS-NZR, JS- at JS-PML, Prime at JS-RUI) at exactly index 73/78/73, while Gallery rendered a full final page ending at Z. Dominator Signatures was NOT truncation: Gallery renders DS-TYG twice on one page, for Thaddeus Young and for Trae Young, a genuine letter-code collision (corroborated by 2020-21 Dominator Signatures where DS-TYG is Trae Young); both rows are written because chase_cards is unique on (set_id, card_number, player_name). REMAINING GAP: Gallery.cfm renders no team, and the last-name roster view truncates too, so 11 of the 61 recovered rows carry an empty team_or_school rather than a guess - Pascal Siakam, Ray Spalding, Terrence Ross, Tony Snell and Tomas Satoransky (Signature Series); Quinndary Weatherspoon, Tremont Waters, Thaddeus Young and Zion Williamson (Jersey Series); Thaddeus Young (Jersey Series Prime); Trae Young (Dominator Signatures). Errors.cfm returned no entries for the sids tested.
