  • G-001 checklistcenter.com's page returned an insert set named 'Fall Theatre' (10 cards) in the slot where cardboardconnection.com, cardsmithsbreaks.com, and tcdb.com's Inserts listing (sid 347096) all instead agree on 'Full Throttle' (same 10-card count, same Orange Die-Cut/Blue #/99/Purple #/49/Gold #/10/Black 1/1 parallel ladder), further corroborated by live tcdb/eBay card listings for '2022-23 Donruss Elite - Full Throttle Anthony Edwards #2'. No source, including tcdb, corroborates 'Fall Theatre' as a real set name. Treated as a summarizer fabrication/misread; 'Full Throttle' used in sets.csv, 'Fall Theatre' rejected.
  • G-002 An eBay marketplace listing ('2022-23 Donruss Elite Deck Anthony Edwards #21 SSP Insert') labels the Deck insert 'SSP', but no non-marketplace source (cardboardconnection, checklistcenter, cardsmithsbreaks, tcdb, blog.paniniamerica.net) corroborates a scarcity claim for Deck beyond it having a standard Black/Gold(+Asia) parallel tier. Per the hard rule against tiering from marketplace copy, Deck was NOT tiered in the scarcity pass.
  • G-003 cardlines.com states (single source, not corroborated elsewhere) that 'Panini has controversially removed the numbering from the base rookies' -- i.e. the physical Rookie cards (#201-250) do not show a printed card number on the card front. Does not affect base_set_size or the 1-250 indexing used consistently by tcdb/checklistcenter/cardsmithsbreaks for the checklist.
  • G-004 Aspirations and Status are die-cut parallels stated as '#/99 or less' (veterans); individual card serial numbers vary per card below that ceiling rather than being a flat print run (confirmed via a live card example: 2022-23 Donruss Elite - Rookies Jaden Ivey #243, Aspirations numbered /77). parallels.csv records the stated ceiling (99) since the schema has no per-card print-run field. Additionally, cardboardconnection.com (single source) states the Base-Rookies version of Status is capped lower, at '#/35 or less', rather than the veteran '#/99 or less' -- not independently corroborated for the rookie-tier figure specifically.
  • G-005 No manufacturer odds sheet, wrapper odds, or per-set/per-parallel numeric pull-rate was located for this product from blog.paniniamerica.net, dacardworld.com, steelcitycollectibles.com, or checklistcenter.com. Only a box-average guarantee ('2 autographs, 16 inserts/parallels, 2 base rookies per box, on average' -- blog.paniniamerica.net, steelcitycollectibles.com) and a qualitative 'Super-Short Printed' descriptor applied to the Dimensions/Next Up/Titlists lenticular inserts (steelcitycollectibles.com, dacardworld.com, verbatim, near-identical wording across both -- likely syndicated from Panini's own sell-sheet copy) were found. Neither is a per-set pull-rate odds statement; the box-average guarantee was not used to tier anything.
  • G-006 This release's notes describe base cards or a base subset as serial-numbered, but the figure is only in prose and could not be resolved into structured data. base_print_run is UNKNOWN rather than guessed. Resolving it needs either a base_card_tiers partition for this release or a re-read of the source that stated the run.

Resolving it needs either a base_card_tiers partition for this release or a re-read of the source that stated the run.
  • G-011 DUPLICATE PRINTED CODE, both rows written. tcdb renders TCS-JRS on two different players in this set -- Jason Richardson (Golden State Warriors) and Jalen Rose (Indiana Pacers) -- at https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/355115/2022-23-Donruss-Elite-Turn-of-the-Century-Signatures. Confirmed independently on the Red parallel page https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/355121/Donruss-Elite-Turn-of-the-Century-Signatures-Red-2022-23, which renders the same duplicate, so it is not a single-page transcription artifact. The cid-adjacency test that distinguishes a data-entry smear from a genuine collision is DISARMED on this page: a verbatim cid re-fetch shows cids running strictly sequentially in display order (21272011 through 21272060, one per row, no gaps), so every consecutive pair is adjacent and adjacency carries zero information. Per spec the ambiguous duplicate is therefore written and flagged rather than guessed. Supporting: the initials fit BOTH players (Jason RichardSon, Jalen RoSe), and n=2 is below the four-or-more-players threshold that would indicate a smear. Note Jason Richardson also holds ES-JRS in Elite Signatures in this same release. Unresolved: which player, if either, does not actually carry TCS-JRS on the physical card. No marketplace listing was found for either.
  • G-012 OUR OWN parallels.csv APPEARS INCOMPLETE -- 16 parallel rows missing across 8 sets, and sets.csv's own notes agree with tcdb against parallels.csv. tcdb's Inserts listing (https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/347096/2022-23-Donruss-Elite) carries a dedicated sid for each of the following, none of which has a parallels.csv row: Back to the Future Asia Gold (sid 355017) and Asia Red (355018); Full Throttle Asia Red and Gold (355038) and Asia Red and Green (355039); Impact Impressions Asia Red and Gold (355056) and Asia Red and Green (355057); New Breed Autographs Asia Red and Gold (355063) and Asia Red and Green (355064); Power Formulas Asia Red and Gold (355079) and Asia Red and Green (355080); Rookie Yearbook Autographs Asia Red and Gold (355087) and Asia Red and Green (355088); Spellbound Asia Red and Gold (355094) and Asia Red and Green (355095); Star Status Asia Red and Gold (355102) and Asia Red and Green (355103). Independently, sets.csv's OWN notes for Impact Impressions, New Breed Autographs, Rookie Yearbook Autographs, Power Formulas, Spellbound and Star Status each state the set 'Has its own parallel tier (Asia Red and Gold, Asia Red and Green, ...)', and cardboardconnection (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2022-23-donruss-elite-basketball-nba-cards) states verbatim for Star Status 'ASIA PARALLELS: Red & Green, Red & Gold #/10' and for Back to the Future's sibling sets 'ASIA PARALLELS: Red, Gold #/10'. Three sources therefore agree the tiers exist. parallels.csv was NOT modified (out of scope for this pass, additive-only to insert_cards.csv and gaps.csv); recorded here for a parallels-scope pass to action.
  • G-013 NON-NBA TEAM IN team_or_school. Row II-LDP Louie Dampier renders its team as 'Kentucky Colonels' at https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/355055/2022-23-Donruss-Elite-Impact-Impressions -- an ABA franchise, not an NBA one. The value is written verbatim as the source prints it rather than being corrected or blanked, per the rule against altering what a source renders; flagged here because the column is documented as holding an NBA team for this release. Confirmed on the Red parallel page (sid 355061), which renders the identical value. Separately and legitimately, many rows across this release carry a player's HISTORICAL team rather than their 2022-23 team, because several sets are retrospective by design: Impact Impressions (Derrick Coleman / New Jersey Nets), Turn of the Century Signatures (Dale Ellis, Detlef Schrempf and Jack Sikma all / Seattle Supersonics), Elite Signatures (Elvin Hayes / Washington Bullets), Back to the Future (Shaquille O'Neal / Orlando Magic, Tracy McGrady / Toronto Raptors) and Title Waves (LeBron James appears twice, at #7 / Los Angeles Lakers and #11 / Cleveland Cavaliers, matching the two franchises he won titles with). These are correct as rendered and are NOT defects.
