- G-001 Base parallel print runs are TIER-DEPENDENT, but parallels.csv allows only one print_run value per row. Each numbered parallel has three different runs (Common / Uncommon / Rare), e.g. Sky Blue Refractor is /350 in Common, /250 in Uncommon and /150 in Rare. The Common-tier (largest) run is recorded in print_run and all three tier runs are documented in visual_notes. Confirmed identically by checklistinsider and cardboardconnection.
- G-002 Release date disagreement: checklistinsider, cardboardconnection, ripped.topps and diamondcardsonline all state February 26, 2026; blowoutcards (Blowout Buzz First Buzz) states March 5, 2026. Recorded as 2026-02-26 (4 sources to 1). Topps' own pre-order announcement (X/Twitter) put pre-orders on 2026-01-27, which is consistent with either street date.
- G-003 Insert and autograph card counts disagree between diamondcardsonline and the checklistinsider / cardsmithsbreaks pair. diamondcardsonline says Finest Autographs 56 (vs 54), Baseline 49 (vs 50), Colossal Shots 52 (vs 49), Electrifying Signatures 51 (vs 49), Masters 45 (vs 47). The checklistinsider / cardsmithsbreaks values are recorded because two sources agree on each and ripped.topps independently confirms Masters at 47.
- G-004 Purple Refractor has no Rare-tier version. checklistinsider's Base Rare odds table omits it entirely and cardboardconnection's Rare column shows N/A, so it appears to exist only for Common (/250) and Uncommon (/200). No source states this explicitly as a design decision.
- G-006 Breaker Delight Geometric parallel PACK ODDS are not published by any source except the Black Geometric Refractor 1/1 (1:167 per checklistinsider). checklistinsider's Geometric table shows print runs only; odds columns read 'variable'. Per-tier Geometric runs are therefore print-run-confirmed but odds-unconfirmed.
- G-007 Pulse card count (20) is single-source (diamondcardsonline only). cardsmithsbreaks describes Pulse as a Breaker Delight exclusive at 1:10 packs and an SSP case hit without giving a count; checklistinsider, beckett, cardboardconnection and ripped.topps name the set but publish no count.
- G-008 Finishers card count disagreement within a single source family: diamondcardsonline states 10 cards and cardsmithsbreaks' set summary states 10, but cardsmithsbreaks' player-view checklist page enumerates only 9 entries. Recorded as 10.
- G-009 Rookie-flag ambiguity in the Uncommon tier: checklistinsider prints RC on cards #101-125 and #127-134 but NOT on #126 Buddy Hield (a veteran, correctly no RC) and NOT on #135 Tyrese Proctor, who is a 2025-26 first-year player and would be expected to carry an RC logo. Recorded as 'no' per the source. diamondcardsonline's rendering strips RC markers entirely so it cannot arbitrate.
- G-010 Player-name spelling variance between the two checklist sources. Recorded using checklistinsider's rendering except where it is an evident typo: #188 is printed 'Deni Avdja' by checklistinsider and is recorded here as 'Deni Avdija'. Other diacritic/casing splits (Jakucionis vs Jakucionis with hacek, Doncic vs Doncic with hacek, Gonzalez vs Gonzalez with accent, LaVine vs Lavine) follow checklistinsider.
- G-011 Duplicate player-team entry inside the Common tier: #50 and #51 are both Tyler Herro / Miami Heat per checklistinsider. No source explains the repeat (photo variation between the two is possible but undocumented). Recorded as printed.
- G-012 beckett.com/news names the rookie autograph concept 'Rookie First' while checklistinsider, cardsmithsbreaks and diamondcardsonline call it 'Rookies Finest Autographs' / 'Rookie Autographs'. Recorded as 'Rookies Finest Autographs'. beckett publishes no card counts for this release, stating the checklist would be posted once released by the manufacturer.
- G-013 No retail configuration (blaster, mega, hanger, Fanatics-exclusive, FOTL) was documented for this release by any source; only Hobby and Breaker Delight appear. Absence of retail is inferred from silence across checklistinsider, cardboardconnection, ripped.topps, topps.com, breakninja and blowoutcards rather than stated by any of them.
- G-014 topps.com hosts first-party 'Odds' and 'Checklist' PDF downloads for this release that could arbitrate every count and print run, but the product page exposes no configuration or parallel detail in HTML and the PDFs were not machine-retrievable in this environment. beckett.com/news was reachable but carries no checklist data for this product.
- G-015 PER-SET PARALLEL TIERS: 7 of 14 non-base sets carry an enumerated tier note. The remainder returned NO dedicated parallel section on checklistinsider, the only source that calibrated cleanly for Topps products; a sample was confirmed absent by targeted per-name query rather than inferred from silence. Many appear to be plain unnumbered inserts that genuinely have no ladder. NOTE the source landscape here differs from Panini: tcdb's Inserts.cfm page, which carried this data for every Panini line, is NOT validated for Topps, and ripped.topps.com's Collector's Guide was caught FABRICATING a full rainbow ladder that a verbatim search disproved. Resolving further needs a first-party Topps odds sheet per product, not more scraping.
- G-016 Base tier PRINT RUN / serial numbering is not stated by any source, including the first-party Topps odds sheet (cdn.shopify.com .../2025-2026_Topps_Finest_Basketball_Odds.pdf), which lists print runs for every base PARALLEL but shows no print-run value and no 'unnumbered' wording on the plain 'Base Common', 'Base Uncommon' and 'Base Rare' rows. checklistinsider, cardboardconnection, cardsmithsbreaks, diamondcardsonline, breakninja, beckett, ripped.topps and cardlines are all silent as well. base_card_tiers.csv therefore records print_run=UNKNOWN and serial_numbered=UNKNOWN for all three tiers, even though release.csv carries base_print_run=unnumbered with base_print_run_basis=assumed. Unnumbered is near-certain for a chrome base set but is an inference from silence, not a sourced fact.
- G-017 Base tier CHANNEL is recorded as 'hobby' for all three tiers by inference, not by a direct statement. The first-party Topps odds sheet has only two odds columns, headed 'Hobby' and 'Breaker', and checklistinsider prints each tier's base odds labelled Hobby (Base Common 5:1, Base Uncommon 1:1, Base Rare 1:3 - the 1:1 and 1:3 values match checklistinsider and cardlines). No source describes a retail/blaster/mega configuration for this release (see G-013), so no tier is retail-exclusive and none is exclusive to one of the two hobby-distribution SKUs; 'hobby' follows the same enum mapping used for Breaker Delight parallels in G-005. TIER PULL RATES DO DIFFER and are sourced: Topps' odds sheet gives Base Common 5:1, Base Uncommon 1:1, Base Rare 1:3, and cardboardconnection states 'Breakdown: 2 Autographs, 10 Inserts/Case Hits, 28 Common Base, 6 Uncommon Base, 2 Rare Base, 12 Base Parallels.' base_card_tiers.csv has no column for per-tier odds, so that fact is recorded here only.
