  • Flashbacks20 cards
  • Team USA20 cards
  • G-001 Release date disagreement across sources for this COVID-delayed product: cardboardconnection.com and checklistcenter.com state 2022-01-26; cardsmithsbreaks.com states 2022-01-25; cardlines.com states a scheduled 2022-01-21 'after two delays'; cherrycollectables.com.au cites an earlier tentative 2022-01-05. Used the two-source date.
  • G-002 Team USA (181-200) print run of #/5 is inferred by pattern-matching the other five honoree subsets in this product rather than a source explicitly stating 'SN5' for this specific range; cardsmithsbreaks.com (the only source with the full 181-200 card list) does not show serial notation in its table.
  • G-003 cardsmithsbreaks.com rendered team as 'Other' for all Team USA cards (181-200) rather than a specific value; set to 'USA' for consistency with the 2019-20 season's identically-structured Team USA subset.
  • G-004 Notable card-count disagreement (5+ cards) across repeated fetches of the same aggregator pages for several sets (Horizontal Patch Auto, Logoman Autographs, Momentous Autographs, Star Swatch Signatures, Vertical Patch Auto). Could not resolve with a third independent source in the time available; modal/most-frequent value used in each case.
  • G-005 The Ruby/Gold/Emerald/Amethyst/Platinum tier reported for most autograph sets appears with near-identical wording across cardboardconnection.com and checklistcenter.com, raising a possible single-origin/syndication risk rather than true independent corroboration; recorded as-is per source but flagged.
  • G-006 PARTIAL 8 of 20. tcdb https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/297931 prints real CT- codes for only 8 of its 20 rows; the other 12 render as bare ordinals or 'TBD', which are tcdb PLACEHOLDERS, not printed card numbers (sort-position test fires: CT-CJM sorts between '1' and '3'). No parallel page exists for this #/2 memorabilia set and no marketplace listing title was located for the remaining 12. Abstained rather than write display indices.
  • G-007 PARTIAL 17 of 34. tcdb https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/297932 prints real CTA- codes for 17 rows; 17 more render as bare ordinals or 'TBD' (placeholders; CTA-VAS sorts between '2' and '4'). This set has no parallel tier in sets.csv and no parallel page in the tcdb sid block, so the parallel-page test is unavailable. Abstained on the ordinal rows.
  • G-008 PARTIAL 7 of 18. tcdb https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/297989 prints real LTA- codes for 7 rows; 11 render as bare ordinals or 'TBD'. Base run is 1/1 with no lower parallel tier, so no parallel page exists to run the parallel-page test against. Abstained on the ordinal rows.
  • G-009 PARTIAL 8 of 33. tcdb https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/297996 shows Total Cards 32 (sets.csv states 33) and prints real LOG- codes for only 7 rows. An eighth, LOG-LBJ (LeBron James), was recovered from a marketplace listing title on goldin.co for a card tcdb renders only as the placeholder ordinal '22'. The remaining ~25 cards are 1/1 case hits with no parallel page and no located listing titles. Also note the tcdb total (32) disagrees with sets.csv (33).
  • G-010 PARTIAL 8 of 40. tcdb https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/297997 shows Total Cards 35 (sets.csv states 40) and prints real LMA- codes for only 8 rows; the other 27 are bare ordinals or 'TBD'. The placeholder diagnosis is certain here: the coded rows occupy exactly the ordinal slots missing from the numeric run (1, 10, 11, 16, 18, 22, 23). 1/1 tier, no parallel page. Code scheme itself is confirmed by goldin.co listing '#LMA-ANT Anthony Edwards'.
  • G-011 PARTIAL 3 of 11. tcdb https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/297945 prints real 2LG- codes for only 3 of 11 rows (2LG-MAV, 2LG-CAV, 2LG-NYK); the rest are bare ordinals or 'TBD'. Codes are team-abbreviation based (2LG-<TEAM>) and therefore look derivable, but deriving them is explicitly forbidden and was not done. 2LG-NYK is corroborated by a goldin.co listing title. 1/1 tier, no parallel page.
  • G-012 40 of 50 rows written. Two separate issues. (a) tcdb https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/298034 shows Total Cards 41 against sets.csv 50, so ~9 cards are simply absent from the catalogue. (b) CROSS-CONTAMINATION: tcdb's first row in this set reads 'HPA-OKO Isaac Okoro' - an HPA- code, which belongs to Horizontal Patch Auto, where tcdb also lists HPA-OKO for the same player. The same wrong code appears on the Vertical Patch Auto Emerald parallel page (sid 298035), so it is a persistent tcdb record and not a fetch artifact. The true printed code is most likely VPA-OKO but that would be a derivation, so the row was OMITTED rather than written under either spelling.
  • G-013 Three (set_name, card_number) collisions were written verbatim because the source prints them: EXS-HAL is BOTH Hakeem Olajuwon and Tyrese Haliburton in Excellence Signatures; MOM-COL is BOTH Cole Anthony and Collin Sexton in Momentous Autographs; PT-CAN is BOTH Carmelo Anthony and Cole Anthony in Patches. The EXS-HAL duplication was re-fetched verbatim and also appears on the Excellence Signatures Amethyst parallel page, so it is a stable tcdb record rather than a transcription slip. Unresolved whether Panini genuinely printed a duplicate code or tcdb mis-keyed one of each pair; a marketplace listing title for the second card of each pair would settle it.
  • G-014 Ten fully-coded sets came in below their sets.csv card_count because tcdb's own Total Cards is lower - these are catalogue shortfalls, not placeholder problems, and every row written carries a real printed code: Distinguished Autos 39/40, Draft Gem Signatures 42/45, Dual Patches 38/40, Flawless Autographs 58/60, Flawless Finishes 19/20, Momentous Autographs 55/60, Patches 59/60, Signature Prime Materials 38/40, Star Swatch Signatures 12/15, USA Basketball Autographs 14/15. On this ultra-premium line tcdb is effectively the only source printing real codes, so no second catalogue was available to close the difference. Several of these differences match the fetch-to-fetch count variance already recorded in G-004.
  • G-015 The 10 rows are written as plain 1..N per tcdb https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/297988, which renders a clean contiguous 1-10 with no coded row mixed in. Per spec a clean contiguous run is NOT clearance on its own, and this set is 1/1 with no parallel page, so the parallel-page test is unavailable. The 1..N reading is supported indirectly: both sibling gem sets in this release have their #1 confirmed by goldin.co listing titles using a plain number ('Team Logo Gems #1 LaMelo Ball', 'Logoman Gems #1 LeBron James'). Note also that by 2021-22 this set HAD moved to letter codes (goldin lists '2021-22 Panini Flawless Larry O'Brien Trophy Gems #LTG-LBJ'), so the scheme demonstrably changes at the season boundary and the 2020-21 reading should be re-checked if a 2020-21 listing title ever surfaces.
  • G-016 Naming variances observed while sourcing; sets.csv was NOT changed. (a) tcdb titles sid 298028 '2020-21 Panini Flawless - USA Basketball' where sets.csv has 'USA Basketball Autographs' - the card codes are USA- and the rows carry AU flags, so it is the same set. (b) goldin.co markets the NBA Logo Gems set as 'Logoman Gems'. (c) tcdb uses 'Horizontal/Vertical Patch Autographs' for the 2019-20 Update subsets but 'Horizontal Patch Auto'/'Vertical Patch Auto' for this release, matching sets.csv.
  • G-017 Per-release source calibration on a CODED set: cardboardconnection.com's 2020-21 Flawless page renumbers Momentous Autographs and Logoman Autographs as contiguous 1..N (its rows 1-8 for Momentous are Edwards, Ball, Wiseman, Avdija, Haliburton, Toppin, Maxey, Stewart) where tcdb prints MOM- codes and an eBay listing title reads '#MOM-RUI'. cardboardconnection therefore FAILED calibration on this release and was used for roster corroboration only, never for a card_number. sportscardspro.com has no page for this product (404). Confirms the spec's expectation that ultra-premium lines are narrower rather than thinner.
  • G-018 tcdb's Inserts.cfm for sid 289297 lists 64 subsets (sids 297867-297930) titled '2019-20 Panini Flawless Update I: <set>' - a 2019-20 update series physically inserted into 2020-21 Flawless packs. These are NOT 2020-21 sets and were deliberately excluded; e.g. sid 297908 '2019-20 ... Update I: Logoman Autographs' holds LA-KNX Kevin Knox II, a distinct LA- code scheme from this release's LMA-. This release's OWN subset block is the contiguous alphabetical sid run 297931-298038. Eight further sids (334726-334729, 388250-388257) are Printing Plates subsets, which have no sets.csv rows and were not written. Recorded here rather than as new sets, per spec.
  • G-019 [DEMOTED 2026-09-03] Larry O'Brien Trophy Gems: 10 rows carrying bare ordinal card numbers 1-10 were written and have now been REMOVED from insert_cards.csv. Their own notes stated the plain 1..N scheme was INFERRED FROM A SIBLING GEM SET IN THE SAME RELEASE and was not verified for this set. That is inference, and the spec requires evidence or omission. tcdb shows a clean contiguous 1-10 run with no coded row to break the sort, and these gem sets have NO parallel page, so BOTH placeholder tests are unavailable -- and a clean sort is explicitly not clearance. Agents on 2022-23, 2023-24 and 2024-25 Flawless independently ABSTAINED on this same set for this same reason. ROSTER PRESERVED; the numbers below are tcdb ROW ORDER and must not be treated as printed card numbers: 1 LeBron James; 2 Anthony Davis; 3 Stephen Curry; 4 David Robinson; 5 Hakeem Olajuwon; 6 Isiah Thomas; 7 Dwyane Wade; 8 Shaquille O'Neal; 9 Giannis Antetokounmpo; 10 Bill Russell. Source: checklist from https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/297988 (tcdb Checklist.cfm). TO RESOLVE: find one free-text marketplace lot title for THIS set carrying a card number (goldin.co /item/ or a fanaticscollect buy-now title -- NOT an eBay /p/ catalogue page, which inherits tcdb placeholders). That exact evidence was found for NBA Logo Gems in both seasons, so it is findable here too.
