- G-001 Release date disagreement: cardboardconnection.com and checklistcenter.com both state August 5, 2020; steelcitycollectibles.com (hobby box listing) and a DA Card World mega box listing state August 15, 2020; midwestcards.com states an original solicitation date of January 8, 2020 (pre-COVID delay). Resolved release_date to 2020-08-05 on 2-source agreement from the two dedicated checklist sites; the other dates are logged here rather than adopted.
- G-002 Base 'Trophy Collection' Orange parallel (unnumbered) is corroborated by 2 sources for its existence in the base ladder (cardboardconnection.com, checklistcenter.com), but no source ties it to a specific channel/SKU (hobby/blaster/mega/retail-general). Left as channel=UNKNOWN rather than guessing. Note: Orange is also independently used as a parallel-tier color within several insert/auto sets' own parallel trees (recorded separately in sets.csv notes) — those are NOT the same print run as the base Orange parallel. - G-006 Bronze, Red #/99 and Blue #/25 are assigned channel=hobby on a single (but manufacturer-originated) source: Panini's own 'Quality Control Gallery' blog post at blog.paniniamerica.net, which describes them as part of the hobby box's base/rookie parallel run. No independent second source explicitly restates the channel for these three tiers (as opposed to Gold/Green/Purple, which cardboardconnection independently calls hobby-exclusive too). Logged for a second-source check. - G-007 The per-insert-set and per-autograph-set parallel-tier color lists (recorded in sets.csv notes) come from a single source, checklistcenter.com, cross-checked only for card counts (not parallel tier detail) against cardboardconnection.com. A second independent source explicitly listing each insert's own parallel colors was not found.
- G-008 No manufacturer odds sheet, editorial SSP designation, or 'case hit'/'X per case' language was found for any set or parallel in this release, despite checking blog.paniniamerica.net (including the official 2019-20 Illusions Basketball Hobby and Retail Product Information Sheet PDFs), cardboardconnection.com, checklistcenter.com, sportscollectorsdaily.com (rate-limited/429 on repeat attempts), and multiple retailer product pages. This is consistent with Panini not publishing numeric odds for basketball. scarcity_sets.csv, scarcity_parallels.csv and ssp_cards.csv are therefore empty by design, not by omission.
- G-009 2 insert/auto set(s) in this release are documented as carrying their own parallel tier, but no source enumerated the colours, so no scoped parallel rows could be created. The tier exists; its members are unknown.

- G-019 2 insert/auto set(s) in this release are documented as carrying their own parallel tier, but no source enumerated the colours, so no scoped parallel rows could be created. The tier exists; its members are unknown.
- G-020 2 of this set's 32 cards could not be given a card_number. tcdb stores the literal string 'TBD' in the card-number column for BRANDON CLARKE (Memphis Grizzlies) and ERIC PASCHALL (Golden State Warriors) on the base page https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/306296/2019-20-Panini-Illusions---First-Impressions-Jersey-Autographs . The parallel-page test failed to resolve them: the Gold tier https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/306297/2019-20-Panini-Illusions---First-Impressions-Jersey-Autographs-Gold renders the identical 32 rows with the same two TBDs. Errors.cfm on this sid returned no entries. The remaining 30 FI- codes were written. Their codes were NOT reconstructed from the FI- pattern: doing so would be derivation, and the sibling sets prove the suffixes are not predictable (Brandon Clarke is DN-BCL in Draft Night Signatures and RS-BCL in Rookie Signs, but Jarrett Culver is FI-JCU here against DN-JCV and RS-JCV, so the same-player suffix does not carry across sets).
- G-021 COUNT CONFLICT, unresolved. sets.csv records Rookie Signs card_count 30. tcdb's page of that exact name https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/254524/2019-20-Panini-Illusions---Rookie-Signs renders 33 rows (counted) under a header of 33, and all 33 were written to this set because the page heading matches our set_name byte for byte. The conflict is structural, not arithmetic: sets.csv models 'Rookie Signs' (30) and 'Rookie Signs Emerald' (33) as two separate sets, whereas tcdb models one Rookie Signs set with Emerald/Orange/Pink/Sapphire parallels (sids 254524-254528). Both models use five sids. checklistcenter.com, which is where sets.csv's counts came from, cannot adjudicate: it renders this set as bare ordinals running past its own stated size (first entry '2 Zion Williamson', last '40 Talen Horton-Tucker' on a list it calls 30 cards) and its roster claims contradict tcdb - it places Rui Hachimura in Emerald and Jalen Lecque, Isaiah Roby and Tacko Fall only in Emerald, where tcdb's base page carries all four and its Emerald page carries neither Hachimura nor Windler. Needs a marketplace or Panini sell-sheet source to settle which of our two sets the 33-code roster belongs to.
- G-022 31 of a stated 33 cards written. tcdb's Rookie Signs Emerald page https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/254525/2019-20-Panini-Illusions---Rookie-Signs-Emerald renders 31 rows (counted, header 31), corroborated exactly by the Sapphire tier https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/254528/2019-20-Panini-Illusions---Rookie-Signs-Sapphire which renders the identical 31. sets.csv says 33. The two codes present on the Rookie Signs page but absent from both Emerald and Sapphire are RS-DWD (DYLAN WINDLER, Cleveland Cavaliers) and RS-RHM (RUI HACHIMURA, Washington Wizards). These two were NOT carried across from the Rookie Signs page: whether the Emerald page is short (recovery case) or those two players genuinely have no Emerald card (parallel-scope case) is exactly the question sets.csv would normally settle, and here sets.csv's own count (33) is entangled with the unresolved Rookie Signs structural conflict in G-021. Both players are named here so the roster survives even though the assignment does not.
- G-023 COUNT CONFLICT, three sources and three counts. sets.csv records 58. tcdb renders 59 rows (counted) under a header of 59 at https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/247369/2019-20-Panini-Illusions---Trophy-Collection-Signatures , corroborated at 59 by its Emerald tier https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/247370/2019-20-Panini-Illusions---Trophy-Collection-Signatures-Emerald which renders the identical 59 rows. cardboardconnection.com's renumbered list ends at 60 ('60 P.J. Tucker'), implying 60 entries. All 59 tcdb TC- codes were written; the extra card cardboardconnection appears to hold was not identified and no row was invented for it. NOT edited in sets.csv - reported only.
- G-024 7 of this release's 13 plain-numbered insert sets have their 1..N card numbers sourced from tcdb and corroborated by two aggregators, but NOT confirmed against a seller's transcription of a printed card. The 7 unconfirmed sets are: ASTOUNDING, CLEAR SHOTS, DOUBLE VISION, FANTASY MATCHUPS, ILLUMINATION, ROOKIE REFLECTIONS, ROOKIE VISION. The 6 that ARE confirmed by a fetched free-text marketplace title carrying a specific number are Career Lineage (#4 David Robinson), Instant Impact (#9 Tyler Herro), Living Legends (#20 Dwyane Wade, the last card of the set), Mystique (#2 Anthony Davis), Season Highlights (#18 Joel Embiid) and Shining Stars (#12 Trae Young). The corroboration behind the unconfirmed 7 is genuine rather than circular - cardboardconnection.com and checklistcenter.com were calibrated on this release's CODED sets and FAIL there, renumbering Superlatives Signatures 1..40 and Trophy Collection Signatures 1..60 in an ordering unrelated to tcdb's alphabetical-by-suffix, which establishes they are not copying tcdb - and both agree with tcdb number-for-number on the LAST card of every plain set checked. But that is agreement between catalogues, not evidence of what is printed on the card, and the failure mode it cannot exclude is a coded set rendered as ordinals by all three. Candidate marketplace titles were found for Clear Shots (#1 LeBron James, #10 Luka Doncic) and Fantasy Matchups (#1 Zion Williamson / Charles Barkley) but every one of those /itm/ pages returned 404 on fetch; comc.com card pages whose URL path segment is the printed number were indexed for Double Vision (#20), Rookie Vision (#7), Mystique (#9, #2) and Instant Impact (#1) but comc returned 403 on every card page and set index fetched this run, so those URLs are search-index artifacts and were not counted. For Rookie Reflections a clean free-text seller title agreeing with card 24 WAS fetched (https://www.ebay.com/itm/326388750498) but the same page carries the tcdb flag-string form '... Bol Bol, Manute Bol #24 (RC)' in its breadcrumb and related-search modules, making it circular evidence rather than corroboration.
- G-025 cardboardconnection.com's renumbered Superlatives Signatures list ends at '40 Craig Ehlo', implying 40 entries, against 39 in both sets.csv and tcdb (39 rows counted on https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/242842/2019-20-Panini-Illusions---Superlatives-Signatures , corroborated at 39 by the Gold tier https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/242843/2019-20-Panini-Illusions---Superlatives-Signatures-Gold which renders the identical 39 rows). All 39 SS- codes were written; the 40th entry cardboardconnection appears to hold was not identified and no row was invented. Logged alongside G-023, which is the same one-card overshoot on the other large autograph set - the pair suggests cardboardconnection carries one extra entry per coded autograph set on this release rather than two independent errors, but that was not established.
- G-026 TWO FINDINGS, neither actionable in this directory. (1) tcdb has NO base sid for Astounding. Its Inserts.cfm listing https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/239570/2019-20-Panini-Illusions carries eight Astounding PARALLEL sids (241266-241273) and no base entry, and the numeric gap immediately below them (241260-241265) resolves to a foreign product, 2017 Panini Plates & Patches printing plates, verified by ViewSet probes on 241262, 241264 and 241265. This set's 20 card numbers were therefore taken from its parallel tiers, which print the base card's number - Orange (241268), Emerald (241267) and White Gold (241266) all render the identical 20 rows. (2) 'Astounding White Gold' (sid 241266) is a parallel tier NOT present in parallels.csv, which records seven tiers for this set (Emerald, Orange, Pink, Sapphire, Gold, Green, Purple). parallels.csv was NOT edited - reported only.
- G-027 Cards resting on a single tcdb page, logged as required. For 12 of the 13 plain insert sets and for Draft Night Signatures, only ONE tcdb page was fetched for the card numbers themselves. Astounding is the exception among the inserts (three parallel tiers fetched and identical), as are the five autograph sets that have parallels: First Impressions Jersey Autographs (Gold identical), Rookie Signs Emerald (Sapphire identical), Superlatives Signatures (Gold identical) and Trophy Collection Signatures (Emerald identical). DRAFT NIGHT SIGNATURES is the most exposed set in this release: sets.csv records no parallel tier for it, tcdb lists no parallel sid for it, so its 27 DN- codes rest on the single page https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/306295/2019-20-Panini-Illusions---Draft-Night-Signatures with no second page of any kind and no marketplace title obtained. The 12 single-page plain inserts are each independently corroborated at their last card by two aggregators (see G-024), so their exposure is lower than Draft Night's.
