- G-001 SOURCING SHAPE: THREE SOURCES WERE REACHED AND TWO OF THEM MAY BE ONE LINEAGE, AND BOTH NON-tcdb PAGES TRUNCATED. tcdb (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/181045/2017-18-Panini-Immaculate-Collection) is the structural spine and is genuinely independent of the other two. cardboardconnection (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2017-18-panini-immaculate-collection-basketball-cards) and checklistcenter (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2017-18-panini-immaculate-basketball/) agree EXACTLY on every one of the 22 sets that BOTH of them list - 22 of 22, with no count anywhere between them differing by one - and together they differ from tcdb on exactly one of those 22 (Immaculate Introductions, 30 against tcdb's 29; see G-007). A pair of catalogues that never once disagree with each other across 22 counts is the signature of a shared upstream rather than of independent corroboration. reference/caveats.csv CAV-037 records that on 2017-18 the two are NOT interchangeable (cardboardconnection carried a variation-layer fact for National Treasures that checklistcenter lacked), so they are treated here as two sites of plausibly one editorial lineage: where this release says two sources agree it normally means tcdb plus that lineage. BOTH aggregator pages were cut off by the fetch layer: cardboardconnection stops after "Jumbo Patches Parallels Set Checklist - 298 cards" and checklistcenter stops inside its Sneak Peek Brand Logo listing, so neither reached Sneak Peek Heel Logo, Sneak Peek Laces, Sneak Peek Tongue Logo, Sole of the Game, Special Event Materials, Standout Memorabilia, Swatches, Team Slogans, The Standard, Rookie Logoman Autographs or Rookie Patch Autographs Tags - those eleven sets are single-source (tcdb only). beckett.com was not consulted (CAV-033: it 302-redirects to maintenance). Re-fetching the two aggregator pages under a different parameterisation is the cheapest way to close this. NOTE the checklistcenter slug drops the word collection (/2017-18-panini-immaculate-basketball/) while its own H1 keeps it - CAV-037's irregular-slug hazard reproduced; the page was found through a search result, never a constructed path.
- G-002 SEVENTEEN OF THE FORTY-TWO COLOUR-AND-FINISH SET-SCOPE TIERS - 40 PERCENT - ARE PER-CARD VARIABLE, AND THE SCHEMA CANNOT SAY SO. EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.3 forbids serial_numbered=yes with print_run=UNKNOWN, so every one of these collapses to UNKNOWN/UNKNOWN, which is indistinguishable from we found nothing. UNKNOWN ON THESE ROWS DOES NOT MEAN UNNUMBERED: every row of every one of them renders a serial token. The distinct token sets, each swept across a whole page rather than sampled: Materials Red {SN25 x28, SN17 x1}; Patch Autographs Gold {SN10 x43, SN5 x10}; Patch Autographs Jersey Number {SN1, SN2, SN3, SN5, SN6, SN8, SN9, SN10, SN11, SN14, SN15, SN20, SN21, SN22, SN23, SN24, SN27, SN30 - eighteen distinct on 29 rows}; Patch Autographs Red {SN15 x43, SN10 x10}; Premium Patch Autographs Gold {SN5 x30, SN10 x18}; Premium Patch Autographs Red {SN10, SN15, SN8, SN7}; Remarkable Memorabilia Gold {SN10 x69, SN5 x3}; Remarkable Memorabilia Red {SN25 x59, SN15 x3, SN16, SN22, SN10, SN12, SN17}; Rookie Patch Autographs Jersey Number {twenty-one distinct tokens on 30 rows, SN1 through SN50}; Sneaker Swatches Signatures Gold {SN3 x21, SN5 x11, SN10 x8}; Sneaker Swatches Signatures Jumbo {SN5 x29, SN10 x16}; Sneaker Swatches Signatures Jumbo Gold {SN3 x31, SN2 x1}; Sneaker Swatches Signatures Red {SN15 x15, SN10 x10, SN5 x5}; Special Event Materials Gold {SN10 x12, SN5 x5, SN4 x2, SN3 x3, SN2 x2}; Special Event Materials Red {SN25 x16, SN13, SN8 x2, SN7, SN15, SN14, SN12}; Standout Memorabilia Gold {SN10 x17, SN9 x1, SN5 x5, SN2 x2}; Standout Memorabilia Red {SN25 x14, SN10 x5, SN18, SN15, SN5 x3}. THE SHARPEST CASE IS SNEAKER SWATCHES SIGNATURES GOLD: its MODAL token is SN3, not the SN10 that every other Gold tier in this release carries - so both the name-based guess (10) and the modal-token guess (3) would have been wrong for most of the set. Writing the modal token across these seventeen would have produced seventeen clean-looking sourced integers, every one of them false for part of its tier. checklistcenter independently corroborates the SHAPE with its or as Noted wording on Patch Auto Jersey Number, Premium Patch Auto Red, Sneaker Swatches Signatures Gold Jumbo and Rookie Patch Auto Jersey Number. This is the modelling gap of caveats.csv CAV-023 and CAV-028, not missing research.
- G-003 EIGHTEEN SET-SCOPE TIERS CARRY print_run=UNKNOWN PURELY BECAUSE THEIR DISTINCT TOKEN SET IS NOT FULLY ENUMERATED, AND FOR THIRTEEN OF THEM THE ONLY TOKEN SEEN ANYWHERE IS SN1. Five of the eighteen are already visibly per-card variable and belong to G-002 as well (Premium Patch Autographs Gold 48 of 88, Special Event Materials Gold 20 of 25, Special Event Materials Red 20 of 25, Standout Memorabilia Red 20 of 26, Rookie Patch Autographs Jersey Number 30 of 38). The remaining thirteen are printing-plate tiers on which ViewSet.cfm truncated and the tail could not be recovered, listed as set / tier / rows read of total / sid: Jumbo Patches Jersey Number / Printing Plates Black / 43 of 100 / 420227; Cyan / 50 of 100 / 420228; Magenta / 50 of 100 / 420229; Yellow / 47 of 100 / 420230; Premium Patch Autographs / Printing Plates Black / 41 of 91 / 420096; Magenta / 47 of 91 / 420098; Yellow / 50 of 91 / 420099; Remarkable Memorabilia / Printing Plates Cyan / 50 of 75 / 420101; Magenta / 45 of 75 / 420102; Sneak Peek Heel Logo / Printing Plates Magenta / 40 of 56 / 420269; The Standard / Printing Plates Cyan / 66 of 99 / 420105; Magenta / 74 of 99 / 420106; Yellow / 59 of 99 / 420107. print_run=1 was NOT written on these because a token seen on 40 to 75 percent of a tier is not an enumerated distinct token set, and this release has already produced seventeen tiers whose own rows disagree. SIX COMPARABLE TIERS WERE CLOSED and ARE written as 1, by the documented direction-neutral method - a second, differently-varied fetch: Checklist.cfm?PageIndex=1&sort=0 returned ALL rows where ViewSet.cfm had truncated on Rookie Logoman Autographs Printing Plates Black (20 to 38) and Magenta (26 to 38), Sneak Peek Heel Logo Printing Plates Black (43 to 56) and Yellow (36 to 56), and Remarkable Memorabilia Printing Plates Black (45 to 75); The Standard Printing Plates Black was completed instead by Gallery.cfm pages 8, 9 and 10 on top of a 70-row sort=0 read. FOUR FURTHER TIERS WERE CLOSED THE SAME WAY EARLIER IN THE BUILD (Heralded Signatures Black and Magenta Printing Plate, Modern Marks Printing Plates Yellow, Special Event Materials Printing Plates Magenta and Yellow). THE sort=0 RETRY IS THE CHEAP FIX AND IT FAILED ON EXACTLY THE THIRTEEN ABOVE: it was tried on Sneak Peek Heel Logo Magenta (returned 35, FEWER than ViewSet's 40), Remarkable Memorabilia Cyan (50) and Magenta (45), Premium Patch Autographs Black (41) and Magenta (45), and all four The Standard plates (70, 67, 74, 59) without completing any of them. ACTION for the thirteen: Gallery.cfm pagination on that sid for the pages covering the unread rows - roughly two to six fetches each, about forty in total.
- G-004 THE FOUR BASE-SET PRINTING PLATE TIERS ARE WRITTEN AS print_run=1 ON PARTIAL COVERAGE, AND THE ALTERNATIVE WAS REMOVING THEM. Printing Plates Black (sid 420092), Cyan (420093), Magenta (420094) and Yellow (420095) each state Total Cards: 139 and each spans cards 1-140 with 111 absent. SN1 was read on rows 1-68 plus 132-140 for Black, rows 1-70 plus 132-140 for Cyan and Yellow, and rows 1-50 plus 132-140 for Magenta - both ends of each run, never the whole of any. print_run=1 was written rather than the rows being removed because EXTRACTION_SPEC section 6 forbids print_run=UNKNOWN at base-set scope, SN1 is positively rendered on every row read, and no contrary token appears on any plate row anywhere in this release (88 plate tiers examined). This is the same call and the same reasoning as immaculate-bkb-2018-19 gaps G-008. cardboardconnection's parallel line does not mention printing plates at all, so all four are single-source. THE BLOCK PORTION OF THE SAME FOUR SIDS IS FULLY ENUMERATED and is written separately as four Rookie-Patch-Autographs-scope rows: Checklist.cfm PageIndex=2 on each of the four renders cards 101-140 with 111 absent, SN1 on every row.
- G-005 CARD 111 IS NOT ISSUED IN ANY TIER EXAMINED, AND THE SECTION 5.5 MIRROR CHECK CAME BACK CLEAN. Within the Rookie Patch Autographs block 101-140, card 111 appears in NO rendering of any tier: the parent /99 block (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/181045/2017-18-Panini-Immaculate-Collection?PageIndex=2), the Red sid 187925 PageIndex=2, the Gold sid 187923 PageIndex=2, all four base printing-plate sids 420092-420095 PageIndex=2, Rookie Logoman Autographs sid 187974 and Rookie Patch Autographs Jersey Number sid 187975 - nine independent renderings. THE MIRROR WAS TESTED: the 2018-19 Panini Immaculate Collection parent (https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/209949/2018-19-Panini-Immaculate-Collection) lists 87 insert rows and 8 parallel rows and NOT ONE of them contains the string Update, 2017-18 or 2016-17, so card 111 is not hiding in the next season's Update block. Errors.cfm was fetched on the parent and returned "No errors or variations have been added for this set yet." - per CAV-020 that sentence discriminates nothing and is recorded here as no evidence either way, not as confirmation. Unresolved: whether 111 was ever printed.
- G-006 THE 101-140 BLOCK IS NOT ONE ROSTER - THREE TIERS OF IT OMIT DIFFERENT NUMBERS, AND card_number IS THEREFORE NOT UNIQUE ACROSS THIS RELEASE. Rookie Patch Autographs itself renders 39 rows, 101-140 with 111 absent. Rookie Logoman Autographs (sid 187974) renders 38 rows, 101-140 with BOTH 109 and 111 absent. Rookie Patch Autographs Jersey Number (sid 187975) renders 38 rows, 101-140 with 111 and 123 absent, and its own header states Total Cards: 38 - consistent. Rookie Patch Autographs Tags (sid 187976) states Total Cards: 39 while the one fetch of it self-reported 40 rendered rows spanning 101-140; the header and the enumeration 101-140-minus-111 both give 39 and a summarising fetch's own arithmetic is not evidence (EXTRACTION_SPEC 3.2), so 39 is what the Tags tier is taken to hold. cardboardconnection independently states 39 for Rookie Patch Autographs and 38 for Rookie Patch Autographs Jersey Number, matching. A consumer keying on card number alone will collide four sets at every number in 101-140.
- G-007 IMMACULATE INTRODUCTIONS card_count IS CONTESTED 29 vs 30 AND 29 WAS WRITTEN. tcdb states Total Cards: 29 and renders exactly 29 rows, every one AU, SN75 (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/187940/2017-18-Panini-Immaculate-Collection). cardboardconnection states "Immaculate Introductions Set Checklist - 30 cards. Serial numbered #/75." and checklistcenter states "2017-18 Panini Immaculate - Immaculate Introductions Auto Set (30 Cards - Serial Numbered #/75)". tcdb was preferred because its header and its rendered rows agree with each other, and because the two aggregators are plausibly one lineage (G-001) publishing one unsourced number. This set has NO parallel sid, so the CHASE_CHECKLIST_SPEC 1c-ter tiebreaker - open the tier pages and see which count the parallels support - is not available here, which is exactly why it stays open. One differently-varied second fetch counting rendered rows would settle it. NOTE this is the opposite call from the one immaculate-bkb-2018-19 made on the same shape (there the parallels sided with cardboardconnection and the aggregator won on three sets); the difference is that there parallel pages existed and here they do not.
- G-008 ELEVEN SET card_count VALUES REST ON A HEADER RATHER THAN ON A FULL ENUMERATION, because ViewSet.cfm truncated. Set / rows rendered of stated total: Heralded Signatures 26 of 40; Jumbo Patches Jersey Number 83 of 100; Jumbo Patches Nameplate Nobility 64 of 98; Jumbo Patches Team Logo 59 of 100; Patch Autographs 51 of 53; Premium Patch Autographs 60 of 91; Sneak Peek Heel Logo 40 of 56; Sneak Peek Laces 60 of 71; Special Event Materials 20 of 25; Standout Memorabilia 27 of 30; The Standard 50 of 99. Six of the eleven have the header corroborated by cardboardconnection and checklistcenter, which are plausibly one lineage (G-001); five - Sneak Peek Heel Logo, Sneak Peek Laces, Special Event Materials, Standout Memorabilia and The Standard - have no non-tcdb corroboration at all. Immaculate Milestones is a twelfth case in the opposite direction: header 9, 8 rows rendered, and 9 is written because both aggregators also state 9. ACTION: Gallery.cfm pagination on each sid.
- G-009 PARALLEL ROSTERS ARE SMALLER THAN THEIR BASE SETS ON FIVE FAMILIES, WHICH IS A REAL STRUCTURAL FACT AND NOT A COVERAGE HOLE, AND IT REFUTES THE ASSUMPTION THAT A TIER MIRRORS ITS SET. Measured from each tier's own Total Cards line: Materials base 30 but Gold 29 and Red 29 (Platinum 30); Standout Memorabilia base 30 but Gold 25, Platinum 29 and Red 26; Swatches base 40 but Gold 38, Platinum 39 and Red 38; Premium Patch Autographs base 91 but Gold 88 and Red 83; Remarkable Memorabilia base 75 but Gold 72, Platinum 74 and Red 73; Sneaker Swatches Signatures base 45 but Gold 40, Red 30, Jumbo Gold 33 and Jumbo Red 16. cardboardconnection and checklistcenter both independently list the Premium Patch Autographs Red roster at 83 and the Sneaker Swatches Gold Jumbo at 33 and Red Jumbo at 16, so the shrinkage is corroborated off tcdb. WHICH PLAYERS ARE MISSING FROM EACH TIER WAS NOT DETERMINED - that is a card-level question for the chase pass and naming one would be derivation.
- G-010 THE Inserts.cfm NOTES-COLUMN TEST CANNOT BE RUN ON THIS PARENT AND IS NOT REPORTED AS RUN. CAV-036 requires calibrating the column's FORMAT as well as its meaning, per section of the page. On https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/181045/2017-18-Panini-Immaculate-Collection the column is the worthless shape for both sections: 166 of the 169 listed rows carry an image-completion percentage ("0.0% of images added", "36.3% of images added"), exactly two are blank (All-Time Greats Signatures sid 187926 and Marks of Greatness sid 187949) and exactly one carries a real distribution statement (Jumbo Patches sid 187943, "1st Off the Line box exclusive"). NOT ONE CELL ON THE PAGE IS A SERIAL STATEMENT IN EITHER FORMAT - neither the Hoops prose shape nor the Select bare-token shape - so the both-directions split test has nothing to discriminate and a blank cell carries zero information. The two blank cells prove it: All-Time Greats Signatures renders AU plus SN75, SN49 and SN25 on its own rows and Marks of Greatness renders SN99, SN49, SN75 and SN25 on its own rows, so writing unnumbered off either blank would have been FALSE, not merely unsupported. Every print run in this release was taken instead from within-sid row-level serial tokens. This makes a twelfth 2017-18 parent measured for this column and the eighth to come back useless.
- G-011 SID ENUMERATION RECONCILES EXACTLY, WHICH BOUNDS THE SEARCH AND DOES NOT PROVE THE COMPOSITION. Inserts.cfm listed 160 Insert Sets rows and 9 Parallel Sets rows in ONE fetch with no truncation; the 169 sids are all distinct and decompose without remainder into 40 base-set sids plus 120 set-scope parallel sids plus 9 base-scope parallel sids. The release owns ONE contiguous main block, 187921 to 188005, 85 sids with NO interior gap and no foreign product interleaved - the cleanest of the four 2017-18 parents measured so far. BOTH BOUNDARIES WERE PROVED FOREIGN by ViewSet.cfm probes under deliberately wrong slugs: 187920 = "2019 Upper Deck Marvel Deadpool" (Total Cards 130) and 188006 = "2018 Panini Phoenix - Black" (Total Cards 200, a football set). The other 84 sids are printing plates catalogued later, in four separate neighbourhoods: 313723 and 313879-313881 (Dual Autographs), 355973-355975 (Heralded Signatures), 386531 (one Sneak Peek Heel Logo plate) and 420080-420270 (everything else). THE PARENT SID 181045 SITS 6,876 SIDS BELOW ITS OWN MAIN BLOCK, reproducing the 2017-18 memo's finding that a parent is nowhere near its children on a fourth parent. Per CHASE_CHECKLIST_SPEC a balanced count can reconcile while being wrong because errors cancel, so this is a bound and not a proof; and no amount of enumerating THIS parent can surface a set tcdb files under a SIBLING product's parent.
- G-012 rookie_flag IS UNKNOWN ON ALL 100 BASE CARDS AND THAT IS A DELIBERATE REFUSAL UNDER EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.4, NOT A COVERAGE HOLE - AND THE SPEC'S LITERAL WORDING COSTS A REAL FACT HERE. A WITHIN-SID POSITIVE DISCRIMINATIVE CONTROL FIRED CLEANLY: tcdb renders the RC token on every one of the 39 rows of the 101-140 Rookie Patch Autographs block and on NOT ONE of the 100 base rows, on the same sid, in the same fetch pair (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/181045/2017-18-Panini-Immaculate-Collection?PageIndex=1 and https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/181045/2017-18-Panini-Immaculate-Collection?PageIndex=2). The base run demonstrably contains 2017-18 rookies - card 4 Markelle Fultz, card 9 Lauri Markkanen, card 17 Jayson Tatum, card 35 Donovan Mitchell, card 39 De'Aaron Fox, card 40 Frank Mason III, card 43 Frank Ntilikina, card 46 Kyle Kuzma, card 47 Lonzo Ball, card 51 Dennis Smith Jr. - so this is not a checklist with no rookies in it. That is the strongest form of the test the spec itself describes elsewhere, and 2.4 still says yes/no only where the source explicitly SHOWS an RC designation, so rookie_flag=no was NOT written and the held fact is recorded here instead. The same decision was taken by immaculate-bkb-2018-19 on the identical evidence shape (its G-012), and all seven sibling Immaculate seasons in the corpus carry rookie_flag=UNKNOWN on all 100 base cards, so this is consistent with the line. THE SPEC QUESTION IS LIVE: if a within-sid positive discriminative control is good enough to license print_run=unnumbered (EXTRACTION_SPEC section 6 says it is), it is not obvious why it is not good enough to license rookie_flag=no.
- G-013 NO CHANNEL IS ASSERTED ON 134 OF THE 135 PARALLEL ROWS, AND THE ONE EXCEPTION RESTS ON A SINGLE SOURCE. Every row except base-set Emerald carries channel=UNKNOWN with an EMPTY channel_basis and channel_class=unknown from the published map, which is the shape migrations/003_parallels.sql requires. REASON: a verbatim re-fetch of the cardboardconnection page asking for any sentence containing the words hobby, First Off the Line, FOTL or exclusive returned "No sentences on the page contain the words hobby or exclusive", and its configuration line is "Product Configuration: 6 cards per pack, 1 pack per box, 5 boxes per case" with no trade channel named. The one exception is base-set Emerald, written channel=FOTL with channel_basis=sourced-presence and channel_confidence=single on cardboardconnection's "PARALLEL CARDS: Red #/35, Blue #/25, Gold #/10, Emerald #/8 (FOTL), Platinum 1/1." - a parenthetical tag, which is why the basis is sourced-presence and not sourced-exclusive. SEPARATELY, the Jumbo Patches SET is First-Off-The-Line exclusive on two independent sources (tcdb's Inserts.cfm Notes cell "1st Off the Line box exclusive" and cardboardconnection's "52 cards. First Off the Line (FOTL) only."), but sets.csv has no channel column so that fact lives only in its notes - see G-014. THE COST IS STATED RATHER THAN HIDDEN: immaculate-bkb-2019-20 through 2024-25 all write channel=hobby with channel_basis=unsupported, so a consumer comparing seasons will see 2017-18 and 2018-19 alone report UNKNOWN. That is a difference in agent convention, not a difference between the products.
- G-014 SET-LEVEL PRINT RUNS AND A SET-LEVEL CHANNEL EXIST FOR THIS PRODUCT AND sets.csv HAS NOWHERE TO PUT THEM. EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.2 gives sets.csv no print_run column and forbids using card_count for one. Figures stated by a source and written here in words only: Rookie Patch Autographs is flat /99 (SN99 on all 39 rows; cardboardconnection and checklistcenter both state #/99); Immaculate Ink is flat /99 (AU, SN99 on all 20 rows, both aggregators agree); Immaculate Introductions is flat /75 (AU, SN75 on all 29 rows, both aggregators state #/75); Materials is flat /49 (MEM, SN49 on all 30 rows, checklistcenter agrees); Remarkable Memorabilia is flat /49 (MEM, SN49 on all 75 rows, checklistcenter states #/49 or as Noted); Massive Memorabilia is flat /25 (MEM, SN25 on all 25 rows, checklistcenter agrees); Quad Autographs is flat /10 (AU, SN10 on all 9 rows, both aggregators agree); Special Event Materials renders MEM, SN99 on all 20 rows read; Logoman, Logoman Autographs, Dual Rookie Logoman Autographs, Rookie Logoman Autographs, Sneak Peek Brand Logo, Sneak Peek Heel Logo, Sneak Peek Laces and Sneak Peek Tongue Logo are 1/1 sets (SN1 on every row of each). AND A CHANNEL: Jumbo Patches is First-Off-The-Line exclusive on two independent sources. All of these are properties of the set with no structured home in this schema.
- G-015 CARD-NUMBER TOKENS THE CHASE PASS MUST NOT TAKE AT FACE VALUE, AND ONE OF THEM ALREADY FOOLED THE FETCH LAYER TWICE IN THIS BUILD. (1) SNEAKER SWATCHES SIGNATURES PRINTS ITS CARD CODES WITH THE PREFIX SN- (SN-ADR, SN-KAT, SN-ZCL). That collides in shape with tcdb's serial-flag token SN25/SN1, and on two of its parallel sids (Platinum 187988 and Printing Plates Magenta 420122) the fetch layer returned the CARD-CODE column as the answer to a question about serial tokens - the CAV-036 card-code-for-flag-column failure, reproduced twice on one release. Both had to be re-asked with the card-number column explicitly excluded, and both then rendered SN1 on every row. Ask for tokens by example, and on this set exclude the card-number column by name. (2) ONE OF ITS CODES IS SN-TBD (Tony Bradley) - a genuine code whose suffix happens to spell the placeholder string TBD. Do not discard it as a placeholder and do not repair it. (3) TWO DIFFERENT SETS SHARE THE PREFIX II- IN THIS RELEASE: Immaculate Ink (II-AHF ... II-WCS) and Immaculate Introductions (II-BAM ... II-ZQI). (set_name, card_number) is the only safe key. (4) SEVERAL SETS RENDER BARE ORDINALS MIXED WITH REAL LETTER CODES in one column - Immaculate Moments renders 6 and 15 alongside IM- codes; Logoman Autographs renders numbers 1 to 59 alongside LA- codes; Shadowbox Signatures renders 8, 9, 12, 16 and 22 alongside SS- codes; Patch Autographs renders 23 alongside PA- codes; Team Slogans renders 2 to 19 alongside TS- codes; Dual Patches Jersey Number renders 4, 6, 11, 16, 17, 18 and 25 alongside DP- codes; Patches Jersey Number renders 2 to 50 alongside JN- codes; Sneaker Swatches Signatures renders 31 to 48 alongside SN- codes; and the Sneaker Swatches Signatures Printing Plates Magenta page renders "31 Derrick White SN1". Per CHASE_CHECKLIST_SPEC 1b a single real code settles the scheme for the whole set: the coded rows are writable and the bare ordinals are not. No insert_cards.csv was written by this build - that is a separate pass.
- G-016 THE BASE PRINT RUN MOVED AGAINST THE ADJACENT SEASON WHILE THE COLOUR LADDER DID NOT, AND BOTH HALVES WERE RE-MEASURED RATHER THAN INHERITED. 2017-18 base cards are /75 on three independent sources; immaculate-bkb-2018-19 carries /99 on the same 100-card shape, also on three sources. THE COLOUR LADDER IS IDENTICAL ACROSS THE TWO SEASONS - Red /35, Blue /25, Gold /10, Platinum 1/1 - each one enumerated here across all 100 base rows and each one matching cardboardconnection's "PARALLEL CARDS: Red #/35, Blue #/25, Gold #/10, Emerald #/8 (FOTL), Platinum 1/1." 2017-18 ADDS one rung the 2018-19 ladder does not have, Emerald /8, and 2018-19 adds nothing 2017-18 lacks except that its Red and Gold sids behave the same way. NOTE FOR ANY CONSUMER COMPARING THE LINE: immaculate-bkb-2018-19's gap G-016 records that all six Immaculate seasons from 2019-20 onward carry base Red at /49, so /35 is a two-season state (2017-18 and 2018-19) and not a one-season anomaly - a consumer reading the 2018-19 gap alone would infer 2018-19 was the odd season out, and it is not. NOTHING WAS CARRIED ACROSS A SEASON BOUNDARY IN EITHER DIRECTION; every figure above has its own 2017-18 citation. AND THE BASE RUN ITSELF IS A ONE-SEASON STATE, VERIFIED AGAINST THIS REPO RATHER THAN ASSERTED: reading all eight data/immaculate-bkb-*/release.csv rows, base_print_run is 99 in 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24 and 2024-25 and is 75 in 2017-18 alone, while base_set_size is 100 in all eight. The same read shows base Blue /25, Gold /10 and Platinum 1/1 unchanged in all eight seasons and base Red at /35 in 2017-18 and 2018-19 and /49 in the six later ones. SO THE LADDER HAS EXACTLY TWO MOVING PARTS ACROSS EIGHT SEASONS AND THEY MOVE AT DIFFERENT BOUNDARIES: the base cards' own run steps 75 to 99 between 2017-18 and 2018-19, and base Red steps 35 to 49 between 2018-19 and 2019-20. An agent inheriting either figure from either neighbour would have been wrong.
- G-017 2017-18 IS NOT THIS LINE'S FLOOR AND THE PREDECESSOR IS CATALOGUED. tcdb's 2016 season index (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewAll.cfm/sp/Basketball/year/2016) carries "2016-17 Panini Immaculate Collection" at sid 158398 and "2016-17 Panini Immaculate Collection Collegiate" at sid 136415. The corpus currently starts this line at 2017-18 once this build lands, so 2016-17 is a missing release directly below the new floor - the same class of finding as the 2017-18 scope memo's chronicles case, and consistent with that memo's section 4, which reads Impeccable's "Like in the 2016-17 debut" as putting Immaculate's own history at least that deep. NEITHER SID WAS OPENED: this build was told not to chase the predecessor and did not. Existence only. The Collegiate entry is a separate product and raises its own brands question that is not this build's to answer.
- G-018 tcdb's "Total Cards" HEADER IS INCONSISTENT WITHIN THIS ONE RELEASE: THREE BASE PARALLEL SIDS ECHO THE PARENT'S 139 WHILE A FOURTH REPORTS ITS OWN 100. Blue (sid 187921) and Platinum (187924) both state Total Cards: 139 and both genuinely hold 100 cards - Blue's Checklist.cfm PageIndex=2 renders the tcdb home page under two different slugs and its Gallery.cfm pagination offers exactly 10 pages; Platinum's Gallery pagination likewise offers 10. Emerald (187922), by contrast, states Total Cards: 100 honestly. Red (187925), Gold (187923) and the four printing plates state 139 and really do span 1-140. This is the CHASE_CHECKLIST_SPEC 1c-septies parent-echo tell firing on two sids while a third sid on the same page does not echo, so the header cannot be used as a scope test on this release: the Gallery page count can, and was. CONSEQUENCE FOR THE LADDER: Red and Gold carry a DIFFERENT print run at the two scopes (base /35 and /10, Rookie Patch Autographs /25 and /10), so one tcdb set name spans two scopes and, for Red, two print runs.
- G-019 THE SECTION 5.5 PRIOR-SEASON MIRROR DID NOT FIRE ON THIS PARENT, WHICH IS WORTH RECORDING BECAUSE IT FIRED HARD ELSEWHERE IN THIS SEASON. All 169 rows of this parent's Inserts.cfm belong to 2017-18 Panini Immaculate Collection; not one is a prior-season Update or Collegiate block, and the 84 sids outside the main 187921-188005 run are all printing plates of THIS release catalogued later. Compare 2017-18 National Treasures, where 25 of 142 listing rows sit outside the main block across eight neighbourhoods and 20 of those are prior-season. Immaculate's satellites are numerous (84) but structurally boring (four plate neighbourhoods) and every one was confirmed against its own page heading during the print-run sweep, 129 of 129 headings matching the name Inserts.cfm gave.
- G-020 A SET NAME WAS NOT NORMALISED AND THE INCONSISTENCY IS tcdb'S OWN: ITS PRINTING-PLATE TIERS ARE NAMED TWO DIFFERENT WAYS ON ONE PAGE. Nineteen of the twenty plate families are listed as "<Set> Printing Plates <Colour>" (for example "Materials Printing Plates Magenta"), while Heralded Signatures alone is listed as "<Set> - <Colour> Printing Plate" ("Heralded Signatures - Black Printing Plate", sid 355973). parallels.csv preserves that difference: the Heralded Signatures tiers are named Black Printing Plate, Cyan Printing Plate, Magenta Printing Plate and Yellow Printing Plate while every other set's are named Printing Plates Black/Cyan/Magenta/Yellow. Renaming either form to match the other would have moved a name away from what the source prints, which EXTRACTION_SPEC forbids. A resolver matching plate tiers by name across sets in this release must handle both forms. parallel_family is Printing Plate for all 88 of them from the one map in pipeline/fix_schema.py, so the derived column is unaffected.
- G-021 EVERY CLAIM IN THIS RELEASE THAT RESTS ON A SUMMARISING FETCH'S OWN ARITHMETIC WAS REFUSED, AND THE ARITHMETIC DISAGREED WITH ITS OWN LIST AT LEAST FOUR TIMES. Measured in this build: a Heralded Signatures fetch reported 26 rendered rows and then token counts summing to 27; a Premium Patch Autographs Red fetch reported 83 rendered rows and token counts summing to 70; the four base printing-plate PageIndex=2 fetches each reported 40 rows while their own enumeration (101 to 140 with 111 absent) gives 39; and a Rookie Patch Autographs Tags fetch reported 40 rows against its page's own header of 39. In every case the enumerated content was used and the fetch's total was discarded, per EXTRACTION_SPEC 3.2. The base checklist's anti-renumbering control is the Checklist/Gallery overlap at card 81 (Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns, SN75), which agreed on both endpoints.
