- G-001 Panini America's preliminary "first look" blog post (blog.paniniamerica.net) mentioned a "Team Slogans" memorabilia set alongside Jumbo Patches/Brand Logos/Sneak Peek/Sole of the Game, but no set of that name appears on either checklistcenter.com's or cardboardconnection.com's full checklist. REJECTED as a set name -- likely a pre-release name that was changed, or content bleed from another product (cf. the 'Colossal Signatures' trap on National Treasures). Not included in sets.csv.
- G-002 Items 26-38 of sets.csv (Brand Logo Relics through Special Event Memorabilia, i.e. most of the memorabilia-only subsets) are confirmed via checklistcenter.com only; cardboardconnection.com's checklist page truncated before reaching these sets in every fetch attempted (~75-80 row truncation), so a second independent source could not be obtained for their card counts.
- G-003 Rookie Sneaker Swatch Signatures Premium Edition FOTL (27 cards) is single-source (checklistcenter.com only); could not corroborate card count on a second site.
- G-004 Could not determine whether any of the 38 non-base insert/autograph/memorabilia sets carry their own named color-parallel tier (distinct from the per-card unique print run typical of patch/auto cards). No source documented a parallel color ladder for any insert set in this release (unlike, per the task brief, National Treasures where this was near-universal). Left set notes without a parallel-tier line rather than fabricate one; genuinely may be that Immaculate's hit-heavy sets do not use named color parallels in this era.
- G-005 rookie_flag left UNKNOWN for all 100 base cards: neither cardboardconnection.com nor checklistcenter.com marked explicit 'RC' designations on the base checklist pages fetched.
- G-006 PER-SET PARALLEL TREES NOT CAPTURED for this release: 0 of 38 non-base sets carry an enumerated 'Has its own parallel tier (...)' note, so none could be promoted into scoped parallel rows. On premium Panini lines nearly every insert and autograph set carries its own colour tree - two sibling Immaculate seasons captured 21 and 18 respectively, and National Treasures captured 190 across six seasons. This is a COVERAGE gap in what was researched, not a statement that these sets lack parallels. Resolving it needs a re-run over this release's sets, not a parse of existing notes. [REPAIRED 2026-08-27: a targeted repair pass resolved 16 of 38 non-base sets with sourced tier colours; 22 remain unannotated because no source publishes their tier colours. The gap stays OPEN at the reduced figure rather than being closed - partial coverage is not coverage.]
- G-007 PER-SET PARALLEL TREE REPAIR (partial): researched all 38 non-base sets against checklistcenter.com (fetched twice, independently confirming a page-specific 'Parallels:' line where present) and tcdb.com's Inserts.cfm subset listing for sid 236707. Annotated 16 of 38 with a 'Has its own parallel tier (...)' note: Rookie Patch Autographs, Heralded Signatures, Ink Autographs, Initiation Ink Autographs, Marks of Greatness Autographs, Modern Marks Autographs, Past and Present Signatures, Patch Autographs, Premium Patch Autographs, Scorers Club Signatures, Shadowbox Signatures, Sneaker Swatch Signatures, Rookie Sneaker Swatch Signatures Premium Edition FOTL, Materials Relics, Remarkable Rookie Jersey, Special Event Memorabilia. 12 of these are multi-sourced (checklistcenter.com text + tcdb.com subset listing agree); 4 are single-sourced (Rookie Patch Autographs and Patch Autographs' colour tier via checklistcenter.com only -- tcdb has no colour-suffixed subset for these, only relic-type ones; Scorers Club Signatures and Materials Relics via tcdb.com's subset listing only -- checklistcenter.com's page text has no Parallels line for these two).
- G-008 22 of 38 non-base sets in this release have NO sourced parallel-tier note (deliberately left unannotated -- neither checklistcenter.com's page text nor tcdb.com's Inserts.cfm subset listing (sid 236707) show a colour-suffixed variant for any of these): All-Star Lineage Autographs; Introductions Autographs; Logoman Autographs; Dual Logoman Autographs; Dual Rookie Logoman Autographs; Milestones Autographs; Moments Autographs; Rookie Brand Logo Autographs; Rookie Championship Tags Autographs; Dual Autographs; Triple Autographs; Quad Autographs; Brand Logo Relics; Dual Patch Jersey Number Relics; Jumbo Patches Jersey Number; Jumbo Patches Nameplate Nobility; Jumbo Patches Team Logo; Logoman; Massive Memorabilia; Patches Jersey Number; Sneak Peek Shoe Relics; Sole of the Game Relics. Most of these are already 1/1-only sets (Logoman-family autos, Logoman insert) or sets whose own base print run (e.g. #/5, #/10, #/25) is the only numbering documented, with no further colour split. This is treated as a genuine absence of evidence, not confirmed absence of a tier -- a future pass with a source not yet tried (e.g. a Panini Product Information Sheet PDF) could still find one.
- G-009 Rookie Sneaker Swatch Signatures Premium Edition FOTL: checklistcenter.com's page text states 'Gold #/10; Platinum 1/1' for this set (consistent across two independent fetches of the same page), but tcdb.com's Inserts.cfm listing (sid 236707) shows only a 'Rookie Sneaker Swatch Signatures Premium Edition Platinum' subset -- no Gold-suffixed subset exists on tcdb for it. Annotated with both colours per checklistcenter.com but flagged here as a partial source disagreement on the Gold tier's existence; not resolved with a third source.
- G-010 Jumbo Patches Nameplate Nobility (100 cards): ABSTAINED ENTIRELY, 0 rows written. tcdb's Checklist.cfm for this subset (sid 252444) renders each player across multiple consecutive rows carrying the SAME JP- code (JP-AAG x5, JP-ADR x6, JP-ASC x8, JP-ASM x8 ...). Two independent fetches produced the same players but DIFFERENT repeat counts (JP-BBR 4 vs 5, JP-BFR 7 vs 6), so the row multiplicity is not stable and cannot be transcribed. Whether the real set genuinely carries several nameplate-letter cards per JP- code, or tcdb is rendering a variation expansion, could not be settled. No card_number was written rather than guess either the codes or their multiplicity. The sibling subsets Jumbo Patches Jersey Number (sid 252443) and Team Logo (sid 252445) render normally and were captured; their JP- codes are NOT copied here because the three subsets have demonstrably different rosters.
- G-011 LONG-PAGE TRUNCATION on tcdb (the only source printing real codes for this product): tcdb's Checklist.cfm returns a fixed content budget of roughly 71-73 rows and silently stops. Three sets are partial for this reason alone, not for lack of evidence: Premium Patch Autographs 72 of 96 (base page sid 252471 stops after PPA-MBG; four further codes recovered from the Red parallel sid 252474 which renders to PPA-MML; one, PPA-TJR Ty Jerome, from an eBay listing title); Jumbo Patches Jersey Number 73 of 98 (stops after JP-MKG); Jumbo Patches Team Logo 71 of 98 (stops after JP-MFL). Every unwritten row is alphabetically after roughly 'M' in each set. Routes tried and failed: PrintChecklist.cfm (robots-disallowed), ?PageIndex / ?PageSize / ?sort=DESC query params (tcdb path routing ignores them and serves the homepage), the Gold/Platinum/Red parallel subsets (truncate at the same depth or earlier), comc.com (403), sportscardspro.com (404 for these subsets). The missing PLAYER ROSTER is partly recoverable from tcdb's ChecklistByName.cfm / ChecklistByLastName.cfm views, but those render a bare row index in the card-number column and must never be used to source a card_number, so they were used only to confirm which players are missing (Premium Patch Autographs: Steven Adams, RJ Barrett, Wendell Carter Jr., Nicolas Claxton, Robert Covington, Terence Davis II, T.J. Ford, Rui Hachimura, Richard Hamilton, Tyler Herro, Richard Jefferson, Nikola Jokic, Zach LaVine, Terance Mann, Nicolo Melli, Robert Parish, Naz Reid, Matisse Thybulle, Myles Turner among them).
- G-012 TCDB BARE-ORDINAL PLACEHOLDERS on the 1/1 and low-population sets, exactly as the spec predicts. On these subsets tcdb orders rows by its own internal sequence and prints a BARE ORDINAL in the card-number column for every card whose real code it has not catalogued, interleaved with rows that do show the real code. The diagnosis is unambiguous here because the coded rows sort BETWEEN the ordinals (LA-JAL renders between '11' and '13'; LM-BAM between '13' and '16'; DRL-RB between '3' and '5'), and because on Rookie Brand Logo Autographs the page is not alphabetical at all (RBL-RJB, RBL-RLF, RBL-DAH ...), so the ordinals are row indices, not printed numbers. Only rows carrying a real letter code were written; the placeholder rows were omitted rather than guessed. Affected: Logoman Autographs 14 of 57; Logoman 11 of 50; Dual Rookie Logoman Autographs 7 of 19; Dual Logoman Autographs 5 of 9 (4 rows show the literal string 'TBD'); Rookie Championship Tags Autographs 14 of 20; Rookie Brand Logo Autographs 15 of 19; Sneak Peek Shoe Relics 53 of 75; Dual Patch Jersey Number Relics 22 of 24; Quad Autographs 9 of 10 ('TBD'); Patch Autographs 56 of 58 ('TBA' for Arron Afflalo and Lou Williams in all three of the base, Gold and Red subsets). Note that on Logoman Autographs the 57 displayed rows exactly equal sets.csv's card_count of 57 while the internal ordinals run to 60 with holes -- further evidence the ordinals are indices, not card numbers.
- G-013 SOURCE CALIBRATION for this release, tested before any row was written. tcdb.com Checklist.cfm is the ONLY source found that prints this product's real card codes, and it was verified against marketplace listing titles: eBay 286261062778 '2019-20 Panini Immaculate Heralded Signatures 56/75 Andrea Bargnani #HS-ABG Auto' matches tcdb's HS-ABG; eBay 306268174943 '... Ink Autographs Josh Okogie #II-JOK /75' matches II-JOK; eBay 296858754661 '#II-MSC Mike Scott' matches II-MSC; eBay 4056508719 '... Premium Patch Autographs Ty Jerome #PPA-TJR /50' matches the PPA- prefix. checklistcenter.com -- the source behind this release's existing sets.csv card counts -- WAS DISQUALIFIED for card numbers: its Premium Patch Autographs section renumbers the set 1..96, printing '1 | Anthony Davis', '2 | Keldon Johnson', '3 | Karl-Anthony Towns' where the printed codes are PPA-ADV, PPA-KJN, PPA-KAT. Its card COUNTS remain correct and agree with tcdb on 24 of 37 sets exactly. Also failed or unavailable: comc.com (403), sportscardspro.com (404 for these subsets), beckett.com and cardboardconnection.com (no per-card codes surfaced for this product), tcdb PrintChecklist.cfm (robots-disallowed).
- G-014 CONTRADICTION WITH EXISTING DATA -- gap G-001 should be revisited. G-001 records that a 'Team Slogans' memorabilia set was mentioned in Panini's preliminary first-look post and was REJECTED as a set name because it appeared on no checklist. tcdb.com does carry a 'Team Slogans' subset for this exact release: https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/252514/2019-20-Panini-Immaculate-Collection-Team-Slogans (sid 252514, inside this release's contiguous 252423-252516 subset block). This does not by itself prove the set shipped, but the rejection in G-001 rested on 'no set of that name appears on any checklist', and that premise is now false. Not added to sets.csv -- this pass may not write sets.csv -- and its card list was not researched.
- G-015 tcdb's Inserts.cfm listing for this release (sid 236707) enumerates SEVEN subsets that have no counterpart row in our sets.csv, beyond the naming variances already reconciled: 'Standout Memorabilia' (sid 252506, with Gold/Platinum/Red parallels 252507-252509), 'Swatches' (252510, with Gold/Platinum/Red 252511-252513), 'The Standard' (252515), 'Team Slogans' (252514, see the preceding gap), 'Patch Autographs Premium Edition' (252466), 'Patch Autographs Tags Premium Edition' (252469) and 'Rookie Logoman Autographs' (252482). Our sets.csv has 38 non-base sets; tcdb lists 94 subset pages, most of which are colour parallels or relic-type variants of sets we do hold, but these seven look like genuinely distinct sets we do not carry. Recorded rather than acted on: this pass may not write sets.csv, and their card counts were not researched. A future sets-level pass should check them against checklistcenter.com, which is the source of our current 38.
- G-016 PREFIX ANOMALY, written verbatim as the spec requires. In Dual Patch Jersey Number Relics (tcdb 'Dual Patches Jersey Number', sid 252426) every catalogued row carries a DP- prefix except one, which tcdb prints as 'CP-TDW' (Dwyane Wade / Tracy McGrady). It was written as CP-TDW because card_number must never be normalised, but it is more likely a tcdb typo for DP-TDW than a real second prefix inside one set. Not corroborated against a marketplace listing -- no listing for this specific 1/1-tier card was found. A resolver should be prepared for either string.
- G-017 DUPLICATE CARD CODES WITHIN A SET, present in the source and written as printed. tcdb prints the same code twice, for two different cards, in four sets: Heralded Signatures 'HS-GHS' (Gerald Henderson, Charlotte Bobcats AND Gerald Henderson Sr., Boston Celtics); Sneaker Swatch Signatures 'SN-DWL' (Deron Williams AND Dominique Wilkins); Dual Autographs 'DA-ZJ' (Jaxson Hayes/Zion Williamson AND Zion Williamson/Ja Morant); Patch Autographs 'PA-TYG' (Thaddeus Young AND Trae Young). In each case the set's total row count still matches sets.csv exactly, so no row is missing -- but at least one code in each pair is probably mis-transcribed by tcdb, since two cards in one set cannot share a printed number. Not resolved against marketplace listings. This makes (set_name, card_number) non-unique in these four sets, which downstream code should tolerate.
- G-018 CROSS-SET PREFIX COLLISIONS inside this single release, confirming that (set_name, card_number) is the only safe key. 'MM-' is used by BOTH Modern Marks Autographs (MM-ASM Anfernee Simons, MM-CBH Chris Boucher ...) and Massive Memorabilia (MM-ASC Admiral Schofield, MM-CRD Cam Reddish ...) -- two entirely different sets, one an autograph set of veterans, the other a rookie memorabilia set. 'JP-' is shared by all three Jumbo Patches sets (Jersey Number, Team Logo, Nameplate Nobility), where the SAME code denotes the same player on three physically different cards -- e.g. JP-LBJ LeBron James exists in at least Jersey Number and Team Logo. A resolver keyed on card_number alone will mis-hit in both families.
- G-019 RETROACTIVE RECOVERY SWEEP 2026-09-07 using two tcdb endpoints discovered after this release's checklist line was completed: Gallery.cfm?PageIndex=N (paginates at 10 cards/page, states the set's true total, prints the real codes, renders NO team) and Errors.cfm/sid/<N>/<slug>. METHOD: every page was index-aligned against an overlap row already on disk before any row was written, and every rendered list was counted by hand -- no fetch self-report and no tcdb 'Total Cards' header was trusted on its own. No existing row was altered, reordered or re-derived. ERRORS.CFM FINDING (release-independent, recorded in all six seasons): Errors.cfm returned 'no entries' on every Immaculate sid probed across four seasons (2019-20 sids 252463 and 252475, 2020-21 sids 294055, 294075 and 294128, 2024-25 sids 560431 and 564989). Immaculate carries no Nb/Nc variation rows, so that endpoint recovers nothing on this line and the TBD/TBA tokens it was hoped would resolve remain unresolved. [SUPERSEDED IN PART -- see G-011, whose LONG-PAGE TRUNCATION shortfall is now closed.] RECOVERED 76 rows, all three of G-011's truncated sets now reconcile EXACTLY to sets.csv: Premium Patch Autographs 72 -> 96 of 96 (Gallery pages 8-10 of https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/252471/2019-20-Panini-Immaculate-Collection-Premium-Patch-Autographs , header 'Total Cards: 96'; index 71 = PPA-MML matched the row already on disk, confirming alignment); Jumbo Patches Jersey Number 73 -> 98 of 98 (sid 252443, pages 8-10, indices 71-73 = JP-MFL/JP-MGS/JP-MKG matched disk); Jumbo Patches Team Logo 71 -> 98 of 98 (sid 252445, pages 8-10, index 71 = JP-MFL matched disk). CROSS-CHECK THAT PASSED: every one of the 19 players G-011 named as missing from Premium Patch Autographs (Adams, Barrett, Carter Jr., Claxton, Covington, Davis II, Ford, Hachimura, Hamilton, Herro, Jefferson, Jokic, LaVine, Mann, Melli, Parish, Reid, Thybulle, Turner) appears in the recovered tail, and no player outside that roster plus five (Vucevic, Washington Jr., T. Young, T. Young, Williamson) was added. The Jersey Number and Team Logo tails are byte-identical to each other, which is expected rather than suspicious: G-018 already records that all three Jumbo Patches subsets share the JP- code space, and the two sets' heads differ (Jersey Number carries JP-KNU, Team Logo carries JP-JPL) in a way that makes both reach index 71 = JP-MFL. FABRICATION CHECK: Team Logo page 10 was re-fetched through a DIFFERENT valid slug (https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/252445/Immaculate-Collection-2019-20-Panini-Basketball-Cards?PageIndex=10) with a quotation-marked verbatim prompt and returned the identical eight tokens. NOT TRUNCATION, CONFIRMED STILL UNRECOVERABLE: G-012's bare-ordinal sets are unchanged. Sneak Peek Shoe Relics was re-swept in full on its largest tcdb subset (https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/252495/2019-20-Panini-Immaculate-Collection-Sneak-Peek-Laces , header 'Total Cards: 71', pages 1 and 5-8 read) and every coded row it renders was ALREADY on disk -- 53 of 75 stands, the other rows render bare ordinals ('51','60','64','66','67','68','70','72','75') plus one 'TBD' (Goga Bitadze). Patch Autographs (56/58, two 'TBA') and Quad Autographs (9/10, one 'TBD') were probed on Errors.cfm and returned no entries, so those three tokens remain unresolved.
