• G-001 Panini America's / preview articles for this line have twice (2019-20 and 2020-21) mentioned a "Team Slogans" memorabilia set (sportscollectorsdaily.com's 2020-21 preview: "...Brand Logos, Patches, Jumbo Patches, Massive Memorabilia, Remarkable Jerseys, Team Slogans, and 1/1 Logoman cards"), but no set of that name appears on cardboardconnection.com's or checklistcenter.com's actual full checklist for either season. REJECTED as a set name -- likely a working title that never shipped, reused verbatim by the preview site across years. Not included in sets.csv.
• G-002 Provisional recon mentioned a 'Holo /3' base parallel. Searched specifically for it across cardboardconnection.com, checklistcenter.com, and sportscollectorsdaily.com's preview for this season; none document a Holo tier. Not included in parallels.csv; may belong to a different Immaculate season or product.
• G-003 Nine memorabilia sets (Remarkable Jerseys, Remarkable Rookie Jerseys, Remarkable Rookie Jersey Dual/Triple/Quad, Sneak Peek, Sole of the Game, Standout Memorabilia, Swatches) are confirmed via checklistcenter.com only; cardboardconnection.com's checklist page truncated before reaching these sets (~75-80 row truncation, consistent across both fetch attempts).
• G-004 Rookie Private Signings Icon Version lists only 2 cards -- unusually small for this product; count agrees between cardboardconnection.com and checklistcenter.com but no third source was found to triple-confirm.
• G-005 Could not determine whether any of the 43 non-base insert/autograph/memorabilia sets carry their own named color-parallel tier. No source documented a parallel color ladder for any insert set in this release. Left set notes without a parallel-tier line rather than fabricate one.
• G-006 rookie_flag left UNKNOWN for all 100 base cards: neither cardboardconnection.com nor checklistcenter.com marked explicit 'RC' designations on the base checklist pages fetched.
• G-007 PER-SET PARALLEL TREES NOT CAPTURED for this release: 0 of 43 non-base sets carry an enumerated 'Has its own parallel tier (...)' note, so none could be promoted into scoped parallel rows. On premium Panini lines nearly every insert and autograph set carries its own colour tree - two sibling Immaculate seasons captured 21 and 18 respectively, and National Treasures captured 190 across six seasons. This is a COVERAGE gap in what was researched, not a statement that these sets lack parallels. Resolving it needs a re-run over this release's sets, not a parse of existing notes. [REPAIRED 2026-08-27: a targeted repair pass resolved 22 of 43 non-base sets with sourced tier colours; 21 remain unannotated because no source publishes their tier colours. The gap stays OPEN at the reduced figure rather than being closed - partial coverage is not coverage.]

Annotated 22 of 43 with a 'Has its own parallel tier (...)' note: Rookie Patch Autographs, Heralded Signatures, Immaculate Ink, Initiation Ink, Marks of Greatness Autographs, Modern Marks Autographs, Past and Present Signatures, Patch Autographs, Premium Patch Autographs, Rookie Private Signings Icon Version, Rookie Sneaker Swatch Signatures Premium Edition, Scorers Club Signatures, Shadowbox Signatures, Sneaker Swatches Signatures, Materials, Remarkable Jerseys, Remarkable Rookie Jerseys, Remarkable Rookie Jersey Dual, Remarkable Rookie Jersey Triple, Remarkable Rookie Jersey Quad, Standout Memorabilia, Swatches. 21 of these are multi-sourced (checklistcenter.com text + tcdb.com subset listing agree, including the very low-count Rookie Private Signings Icon Version at only 2 base cards); 1 (Rookie Patch Autographs) is single-sourced via checklistcenter.com only -- tcdb has no colour-suffixed subset for it, only relic-type ('Jersey Number'/'Tags') ones.
• G-009 21 of 43 non-base sets in this release have NO sourced parallel-tier note (deliberately left unannotated -- neither checklistcenter.com's page text nor tcdb.com's Inserts.cfm subset listing (sid 288126) show a colour-suffixed variant for any of these): Dual Autographs; Dual Logoman Autographs; Dual Rookie Logoman Autographs; Immaculate Award Winners Autographs; Immaculate Hall of Fame Inductions Autographs; Immaculate Milestones Autographs; Immaculate Rookie Introductions Autographs; Immaculate Signature Moves; Logoman Autographs; Quad Autographs; Rookie Brand Logo Autographs; Rookie Championship Tags Autographs; Triple Autographs; Brand Logos; Dual Patches Jersey Number; Jumbo Patches Jersey Number; Logoman Relics; Massive Memorabilia; Patches Jersey Number; Sneak Peek; Sole of the Game. Most of these are already 1/1-only sets (Logoman-family autos, Logoman Relics) or sets whose own base print run is the only numbering documented. Sneak Peek's four relic-type subsets (Brand Logo/Heel Logo/Laces/Tongue Logo) are memorabilia-type variants, not colour parallels, and were not counted as a parallel tier per the task's colour-only definition. Treated as a genuine absence of evidence, not confirmed absence of a tier.
• G-010 Dual Logoman Autographs (7 cards): ABSTAINED ENTIRELY -- 0 rows written. tcdb's only listing for this set (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/294036/2020-21-Immaculate-Collection) shows card numbers '1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, TBD' with NOT ONE real printed code anywhere in the set, so there is nothing to distinguish a genuine 1-7 printed run from tcdb's bare-ordinal placeholders. Every other Logoman-family set in this release IS letter-coded (Logoman Autographs LA-, Logoman Relics LM-, Dual Rookie Logoman Autographs DRL-), which makes a plain 1..N run improbable, and the missing '6' plus the trailing 'TBD' are the incomplete-cataloguing signature. No marketplace listing title could be found showing what is printed on any of these 1/1 dual-signed Logoman patches. Writing 1-7 would have created seven silently-wrong identifiers; the roster is known (Murray/Jokic; Barrett/Williamson; Fox/Gilgeous-Alexander; Towns/Jokic; Bird/Doncic; Thomas/Dumars; Longley/Kukoc) but the card numbers are not.
• G-011 PLACEHOLDER-ORDINAL SHORTFALL on nine sets. tcdb renders these checklists in Panini's internal sequence order and puts a BARE ORDINAL (or the literal 'TBD') in the card-number column for cards it has not catalogued; real letter codes render BETWEEN those ordinals (e.g. LA-HED between '4' and '6' in Logoman Autographs), which is the placeholder signature. cardboardconnection.com and checklistcenter.com reproduce the identical 1..N sequence, confirming the ordinals are display indices. Confirmed against a marketplace listing title -- NBA Store 'Giannis Antetokounmpo ... 2020-21 Panini Immaculate Collection Brand Logo ... Relic #BL-GAN #5/5' -- where tcdb shows BL-GAN at exactly the sequence position where cardboardconnection prints a bare '18'. Only coded rows were written. Shortfalls (written/sets.csv): Brand Logos 10/25; Dual Patches Jersey Number 11/25; Dual Rookie Logoman Autographs 1/20; Logoman Autographs 10/59; Logoman Relics 5/50; Patches Jersey Number 32/50; Rookie Brand Logo Autographs 15/20; Rookie Championship Tags Autographs 12/20; Sneak Peek 39/75. Total 135 of 344 cards resolved on these nine sets; the other 209 have known players but unsourceable card numbers. Resolving them needs a source that prints the codes for uncatalogued 1/1 and low-population cards -- none was found.
• G-012 FETCH-TRUNCATION SHORTFALL on two long sets. tcdb sorts these checklists alphabetically by card code, and every tcdb page for them (base subset AND all colour-parallel subsets) was cut off by the fetch tool at roughly the letter R, so cards whose codes sort after that point could not be sourced. Premium Patch Autographs: 72 of 99 written, truncating after PPA-RFX (base sid 294083, Gold 294084, Platinum 294085, Red 333231 all truncate at the same place; unioning them recovered PPA-ADR, PPA-EGO, PPA-MAX, PPA-MTU but not the tail). Jumbo Patches Jersey Number: 73 of 100 written, truncating after JP-NZM / JP-OYO (relic-variant subsets sid 294055 / 294056 / 294057 unioned). Direct HTTP to tcdb.com is blocked by this environment's egress policy (gateway 403 on CONNECT), so the pages could not be retrieved un-summarised; tcdb offers no paging, team-filter or sort-order parameter that shortens these pages (?PageIndex=2 returns 'No records found', ?TeamID=NN is ignored, ChecklistByTeam.cfm 404s). The tails remain sourceable by a future pass with a larger fetch budget.
• G-013 'TBD' PLACEHOLDER ROWS -- 12 cards across 7 otherwise-complete sets carry the literal string 'TBD' in tcdb's card-number column instead of a code, and were omitted rather than guessed. Their players ARE known: Patch Autographs -- Robert Covington (1 of 60 missing); Immaculate Rookie Introductions Autographs -- Mamadi Diakite, Ty-Shon Alexander (2 of 30); Quad Autographs -- Armstrong/Longley/Kerr/Kukoc plus one row rendering as bare '3' Dantley/Thomas/Dumars/Aguirre (2 of 10); Triple Autographs -- Wallace/Billups/Hamilton (1 of 12); Rookie Sneaker Swatch Signatures Premium Edition -- CJ Elleby, Kira Lewis Jr., Theo Maledon (3 of 40); Sneaker Swatches Signatures -- Andrew Wiggins, Gary Payton, Tony Parker (3 of 30). These are the only cards missing from those six sets; every other card in them is resolved with a real printed code.
• G-014 DUPLICATE PRINTED CODES WITHIN A SET -- tcdb prints the same code on two different cards in five sets, and both rows were written verbatim as printed rather than one being dropped or a code being guessed from initials (which the spec forbids). Heralded Signatures: HS-AVJ = Anderson Varejao AND Avery Johnson (duplicated identically on the base subset sid 294039 and the Platinum subset sid 294041, so it is not a one-page typo); Past and Present Signatures: PPS-DGR = Danny Granger AND Devonte' Graham; Materials: MT-DRS = Derrick Rose AND D'Angelo Russell; Patch Autographs: PA-ADR = Adrian Dantley AND Andre Drummond; Jumbo Patches Jersey Number: JP-CAN = Carmelo Anthony AND Cole Anthony. Each pair makes (set_name, card_number) non-unique. Either Panini genuinely reused the code or tcdb has one of each pair wrong; no marketplace listing was found for the second member of any pair to settle it. A resolver matching on (set_name, card_number) will hit two rows for these five codes.
• G-015 CONTRADICTS EXISTING DATA (gap G-001) AND SETS COVERAGE: tcdb's Inserts.cfm subset index for this release (https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/288126) lists a 'Team Slogans' subset at sid 294141. G-001 REJECTED 'Team Slogans' as a set name on the grounds that no actual checklist carried it, treating the sportscollectorsdaily.com preview mention as a working title that never shipped. tcdb -- which was not consulted for that decision and is the only source printing real card codes on this product -- does carry it. G-001's rejection should be re-examined rather than left standing. tcdb additionally lists six further subsets with no counterpart in our sets.csv: 'The Standard' (294142), 'Rookie Logoman Autographs' (294110, distinct from our 'Dual Rookie Logoman Autographs'), 'Jumbo Patches - Nameplate Nobility' (294056), 'Jumbo Patches - Team Logo' (294057), 'Patch Autographs Premium Edition' (294078) and 'Patch Autographs Tags Premium Edition' (294081). The last four are relic-type variants of sets we already carry rather than new sets; 'Team Slogans', 'The Standard' and 'Rookie Logoman Autographs' may be genuine missing sets. Not added -- adding sets is outside this task's scope -- but recorded for a sets pass.
• G-016 SOURCE CALIBRATION FOR THIS RELEASE (recorded so a later pass does not have to re-learn it). (1) cardboardconnection.com https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-immaculate-collection-basketball-nba-cards and checklistcenter.com https://www.checklistcenter.com/2020-21-panini-immaculate-collection-basketball-card-checklist/ BOTH RENUMBER every coded set 1..N. Proven, not assumed: cardboardconnection prints Heralded Signatures as '1 Artis Gilmore ... 40 Brian Scalabrine' when an eBay listing title shows the printed code is '#HS-AGL' for Gilmore; checklistcenter prints Swatches row 1 as Wilt Chamberlain whose printed code is SW-WCH, and Jumbo Patches row 1 as Shawn Kemp. Both remain usable for print runs, rosters and sequence order -- their 1..N ordering matches tcdb's internal sequence exactly -- but NOT for card_number. (2) tcdb's Checklist.cfm is the only source printing real codes here, and it is trustworthy where a code is present. (3) tcdb's ChecklistByLastName.cfm is INCONSISTENT WITHIN THIS SINGLE RELEASE and must not be used to source a number: for Jumbo Patches (sid 294055) it renders real codes ('#JP-PAC', '#JP-LMA', ... verified against ten codes already known from Checklist.cfm), but for Premium Patch Autographs (sid 294083) it renders a bare 1..N row index for a set whose real codes are PPA-XXX. (4) breakninja.com's per-set URL pattern for this release could not be reached. (5) Marketplace titles that did settle questions: NBA Store #BL-GAN; eBay #HS-AGL, #PA-RHA, #JP-OYO; Fanatics Collect 'ROOKIE PATCH AUTO /99 #112'; hornetsfanshop #DA-LLA.
• G-017 COVERAGE SUMMARY for this release's chase checklists: 1,143 card rows written across 42 of the 43 non-base sets in sets.csv; one set (Dual Logoman Autographs) abstained entirely -- see G-010. 25 sets are COMPLETE at exactly their sets.csv card_count (Rookie Patch Autographs, Dual Autographs, Heralded Signatures, Immaculate Award Winners Autographs, Immaculate Hall of Fame Inductions Autographs, Immaculate Ink, Immaculate Milestones Autographs, Immaculate Signature Moves, Initiation Ink, Marks of Greatness Autographs, Modern Marks Autographs, Past and Present Signatures, Rookie Private Signings Icon Version, Scorers Club Signatures, Shadowbox Signatures, Massive Memorabilia, Materials, Remarkable Jerseys, Remarkable Rookie Jerseys, Remarkable Rookie Jersey Dual/Triple/Quad, Sole of the Game, Standout Memorabilia, Swatches). 17 sets are partial -- see G-011, G-012 and G-013 for the three distinct reasons. Total resolved: 1,143 of the 1,624 cards sets.csv accounts for across the 43 non-base sets (70.4%). No row count exceeded its sets.csv card_count, so no set contradicts the existing sizes. PREFIX COLLISIONS INSIDE THIS RELEASE (recorded because a resolver keyed on prefix alone will mis-hit): MM- is used by BOTH Modern Marks Autographs and Massive Memorabilia; SM- is used by BOTH Immaculate Signature Moves and Standout Memorabilia. No code string is shared between either colliding pair, but (set_name, card_number) remains the only safe key. NUMBERING SCHEMES OBSERVED: 41 sets are letter-coded; ONE set is own-block numeric -- Rookie Patch Autographs runs 101-140, continuing the 100-card base run, verified against a Fanatics Collect listing title '#112' for LaMelo Ball. No set in this release uses a plain 1..N printed run.
• G-018 RETROACTIVE RECOVERY SWEEP 2026-09-07 using two tcdb endpoints discovered after this release's checklist line was completed: Gallery.cfm?PageIndex=N (paginates at 10 cards/page, states the set's true total, prints the real codes, renders NO team) and Errors.cfm/sid/<N>/<slug>. METHOD: every page was index-aligned against an overlap row already on disk before any row was written, and every rendered list was counted by hand -- no fetch self-report and no tcdb 'Total Cards' header was trusted on its own. No existing row was altered, reordered or re-derived. ERRORS.CFM FINDING (release-independent, recorded in all six seasons): Errors.cfm returned 'no entries' on every Immaculate sid probed across four seasons (2019-20 sids 252463 and 252475, 2020-21 sids 294055, 294075 and 294128, 2024-25 sids 560431 and 564989). Immaculate carries no Nb/Nc variation rows, so that endpoint recovers nothing on this line and the TBD/TBA tokens it was hoped would resolve remain unresolved. [SUPERSEDED IN PART -- see G-012, whose FETCH-TRUNCATION shortfall is now closed for both sets.] RECOVERED 50 rows: Premium Patch Autographs 72 -> 96 (Gallery pages 7-10 of https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/294083/2020-21-Panini-Immaculate-Collection-Premium-Patch-Autographs ; page 7 index 70 = PPA-RFX matched the last row on disk, confirming no hole between the old capture and the recovered tail); Jumbo Patches Jersey Number 73 -> 99 (sid 294055, pages 8-10, indices 71-73 = JP-OPJ/JP-OTP/JP-OYO matched disk). CONTRADICTION WITH sets.csv, RECORDED NOT ACTED ON: the Premium Patch Autographs base subset's own header reads 'Total Cards: 94' and its Gallery renders exactly 94 entries, while sets.csv says 99. Our 96 rows are the union of that 94 with two codes the earlier pass took from the Gold/Platinum/Red parallel subsets, so the set is 96 of a stated 99 and the 3-card difference is a sets.csv-versus-tcdb disagreement, not a sourcing gap. sets.csv was not modified. STILL WITHHELD, and NOT truncation: Jumbo Patches Jersey Number's 100th row renders the literal string 'TBD' for Terence Davis II on Gallery page 10; Errors.cfm on sid 294055 returned no entries, so it stays withheld. G-011's nine placeholder-ordinal sets and G-013's twelve 'TBD' rows are unchanged -- Errors.cfm was probed on Patch Autographs (294075) and Sneaker Swatches Signatures (294128) and returned no entries for either. Sneak Peek was re-checked: its four relic-variant subsets are 51 cards or fewer (Brand Logo sid 294124 header 'Total Cards: 51'), i.e. well inside the truncation band, and its page-1 codes were all already on disk, so 39 of 75 is a placeholder shortfall and not a truncation one. FABRICATION CHECK: Jumbo Patches Jersey Number page 9 was re-fetched through a different valid slug (https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/294055/Immaculate-Collection-2020-21-Panini-Basketball-Cards?PageIndex=9) with a quotation-marked verbatim prompt and returned the identical ten tokens.
