  • G-001 base_set_size=100 EXCLUDES parent-checklist cards 101-140, which every one carry tcdb flags "AU, MEM, RC, SN99" and are the 40-card Elegance Rookie Jersey Autographs set (EXTRACTION_SPEC 5.3 exclusion rule). CONVENTION DIVERGENCE INSIDE THIS CATALOGUE: contenders-bkb-2019-20 sets base_set_size=165 INCLUDING its Rookie Ticket autographs 101-165, while contendersoptic-bkb-2019-20 sets 100 and files 101-140 separately. This release follows the exclusion rule, as impeccable-bkb-2019-20 already does (base_set_size=100 against a parent Total Cards of "180"). Nothing in a release row tells a consumer which convention it is under. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/263018/2020-21-Panini-Impeccable?PageIndex=2 ; https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-impeccable-basketball-nba-cards
  • G-002 CEILING IS NOT A PRINT RUN. cardboardconnection publishes most insert- and autograph-scope Holo tiers only as a ceiling ("Holo Silver #/25 or less", "Holo Gold #/10 or less") or as a two-value range ("#/25 or #/15", "#/10 or #/5", "#/5 or #/3"). 20 parallel rows therefore carry print_run=UNKNOWN rather than the ceiling figure. The same convention was applied by impeccable-bkb-2019-20 (its G-002). Older catalogue rows (Contenders Ticket Stub 77, Elite Red/Aspirations/Status 99) wrote the ceiling instead; a repair pass is expected. Evidence: https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-impeccable-basketball-nba-cards
  • G-003 THE SCHEMA CANNOT EXPRESS "SERIAL NUMBERED, RUN UNKNOWN" and that is the true state of 20 ceiling/range rows here. Every ceiling and range tier above is provably serial numbered - cardboardconnection prints a "#/" figure for it and the tcdb rows of the parent sets carry SN tokens (e.g. Canvas Creations rows read "AU, SN10", Extravagance rows "AU, SN10", Stainless Stars Autographs Purple rows "AU, SN49") - but the forced pairing of print_run and serial_numbered collapses them to UNKNOWN/UNKNOWN, indistinguishable from "we found nothing". Recorded here because the CSV cannot carry it. Evidence: https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-impeccable-basketball-nba-cards ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/273584/x
  • G-004 SOURCE INSTABILITY: two separate fetches of the SAME cardboardconnection URL returned different "PARALLEL CARDS:" strings and shifted the set-to-string attribution. Fetch A attributed "Holo Silver #/25 or less, Holo Gold #/10 or less" to Elegance Retired Jersey Autographs and "Holo Silver #/25 or #/15, Holo Gold #/5, Platinum 1/1 (No Walton*)" to Indelible Ink; fetch B (a structured per-set pass) attributed "#/15 or #/10, Holo Gold #/5" to Elegance Retired and "#/25 or #/15, Holo Gold #/5" to Elegance Veteran. Fetch A also listed only 6 occurrences of "or less" where fetch B implies more. Six rows are marked value_contested=yes and carry print_run=UNKNOWN: Elegance Retired Holo Silver/Holo Gold, Elegance Veteran Holo Silver/Holo Gold, Indelible Ink Holo Silver/Holo Gold. Fetch B is relied on for the rest. Evidence: https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-impeccable-basketball-nba-cards
  • G-005 FOUR SETS HAVE NO PARALLEL ROWS AT ALL and the absence is evidenced, not unresolved: Impeccable Draft Pick Autographs, Impeccable Hall of Fame Autographs, Impeccable Jersey Number Autographs and Impeccable Stats Autographs. cardboardconnection prints no "PARALLEL CARDS:" line for any of them, and tcdb Inserts.cfm lists no non-blockchain parallel subset for any of them (their only Gold/Platinum subsets are "BC " Panini Blockchain digital sets). Evidence: https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-impeccable-basketball-nba-cards ; https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/263018/2020-21-Panini-Impeccable
  • G-006 TEN PRIOR-SEASON SUBSETS SHIPPED INSIDE THIS PRODUCT (EXTRACTION_SPEC 5.5): tcdb files sids 273499-273532 under this parent as "2019-20 Panini Impeccable Update I: <set>" - Canvas Creations (2 cards), Elegance Veteran Jersey Autographs (1), Extravagance Autographs (1), Immortal Ink (2), Impeccable All-Stars Autographs (1), Impeccable Shots Signatures (1), Impeccable Stars Signatures (2), Impeccable Stats Signatures (1), Impeccable Victory Signatures (1), Indelible Ink (1). They are listed in sets.csv under their verbatim tcdb names and flagged. CODE COLLISION RISK: the block reuses CC-, EV-, EA-, IM-, IS-, IV- and II- prefixes that 2020-21 sets also use, AND collides with itself - Update I "Impeccable Shots Signatures" uses IS-CLV while Update I "Impeccable Stats Signatures" uses IS-LMA. Also unresolved: whether a "Update II" block exists under a later parent. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/263018/2020-21-Panini-Impeccable ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/273516/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/273524/x
  • G-007 NO TCDB SID EXISTS FOR ANY BASE-SET PARALLEL of this release. tcdb Inserts.cfm lists 165 subsets and none is named plainly "Silver", "Gold", "Holo Silver", "Holo Gold" or "Platinum"; the Silver/Gold NBA/Draft/HOF Logo entries are separate metal insert sets, not base parallels. The eight base-scope parallel rows therefore rest entirely on aggregators, with no structural confirmation and no card-level roster. This is a difference from impeccable-bkb-2019-20, where each base parallel had its own sid (Silver 228099, Gold 228095, Holo Silver 228097). Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/263018/2020-21-Panini-Impeccable ; https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-impeccable-basketball-nba-cards
  • G-008 TWO SOURCES MAY BE ONE OPINION (EXTRACTION_SPEC 5.4). cardboardconnection and checklistcenter agree near-verbatim on the base parallel line ("Silver #/75, Gold #/60, Holo Silver #/35, Holo Gold #/10, Platinum 1/1" against "Silver #/75; Gold #/60; Holo Silver #/35; Holo Gold #/10; Platinum 1/1") and on every set card count, differing only in punctuation and in the word "Set"/"Autographs" in set names. They copy each other in this catalogue. Beckett is unreachable, so no third structural source was available for the parallels. Evidence: https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-impeccable-basketball-nba-cards ; https://www.checklistcenter.com/2020-21-panini-impeccable-basketball-card-checklist/
  • G-009 CHANNEL IS UNSOURCED ON 61 OF 70 PARALLEL ROWS. No source states a trade channel for any parallel of this release; the only channel-adjacent statement found is the product configuration line "9 cards per pack, 1 pack per box, 3 boxes per case". channel=hobby with channel_basis=from-note is carried on those rows, matching impeccable-bkb-2019-20, which used the identical basis on all 53 of its rows. Do not promote to sourced-* without new evidence. Evidence: https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-impeccable-basketball-nba-cards
  • G-010 ASIA PARALLEL NAMES ARE COMPOSED, NOT PRINTED. cardboardconnection prints the base-scope Asia tiers only as the heading "ASIA PARALLELS:" followed by the bare items "Base, Red #/8, Red & Gold 1/1". The rows are therefore named "Asia", "Asia Red" and "Asia Red & Gold"; no source prints those three strings as names. tcdb names the analogous set-scope tiers "Rookie Autographs Asia", "Rookie Autographs Asia Red" and "Rookie Autographs Asia Red and Gold" - note "and" rather than "&", so this release carries both spellings in different scopes. [CORRECTED 2026-09-12: the base-scope "Asia" row this gap also covered was REMOVED from parallels.csv - see G-023. The naming finding stands unchanged for "Asia Red" and "Asia Red & Gold", which remain.] Evidence: https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-impeccable-basketball-nba-cards ; https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/263018/2020-21-Panini-Impeccable
  • G-011 TCDB HEADER DISAGREES WITH RENDERED ROWS ON TWO SETS (EXTRACTION_SPEC 3.2 - treat as a question, not an answer). Award-Winning Autographs: header "Total Cards: 7", 6 rows rendered through the fetch layer. Impeccable Hall of Fame Autographs: header "29", 23 rows rendered. Both counts are written as 7 and 29 because cardboardconnection and checklistcenter independently state 7 and 29, but the rendered-row shortfall is unexplained and may be fetch-layer truncation rather than missing data. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/273533/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/273610/x ; https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-impeccable-basketball-nba-cards
  • G-012 SINGLE-SOURCE PARALLELS. The Elegance Rookie Jersey Autographs set sits inside the parent checklist as cards 101-140 with no sid of its own, so its three parallels (Holo Silver #/25, Holo Gold #/10, Platinum 1/1) rest on cardboardconnection alone - checklistcenter lists the set but not its parallels, and tcdb has no non-blockchain subset for it. Evidence: https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-impeccable-basketball-nba-cards ; https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/263018/2020-21-Panini-Impeccable
  • G-013 A SPECTRA-BRANDED SET INSIDE IMPECCABLE. tcdb sid 273647 is named "2020-21 Panini Impeccable - Spectra Hall of Fame Signatures" and renders 4 rows (SH-GGE George Gervin AU, SH-JST John Stockton AU, SH-KAJ Kareem Abdul-Jabbar AU, SH-MJO Magic Johnson AU). It is filed here as an Impeccable set because that is where both tcdb and cardboardconnection put it, but the name references another Panini line and a resolver could mis-attribute it to spectra-bkb-2020-21. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/273647/x ; https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-impeccable-basketball-nba-cards
  • G-014 CHANNEL CONVENTION DIVERGENCE AGAINST THE 2019-20 SIBLING. This release files the Silver NBA Logo FOTL parallel as channel=FOTL (channel_class=promotion by the EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.3 derived map) with channel_sku=FOTL and channel_basis=from-name. impeccable-bkb-2019-20 files its own FOTL row as channel=hobby, channel_class=box-type, channel_sku=FOTL. FOTL is an explicit enum value in the spec and "hobby" is the near-miss the spec warns against, so this release follows the spec; the sibling row is left untouched and the divergence is recorded here. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/263018/2020-21-Panini-Impeccable ; https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-impeccable-basketball-nba-cards
  • G-015 FOUR PARALLEL ROWS HAVE NO TCDB SID READ. tcdb states "Insert Sets (165)" and the subset sid block runs 273499-273663 contiguously (273664 does not resolve to an Impeccable set), but the rendered Inserts.cfm listing truncated after sid 273657. Two of the six missing entries were recovered by direct probe - 273658 "Stainless Stars Autographs Purple" and 273663 "Stainless Stars Purple" - which brackets the remaining four (273659-273662) as the Stainless Stars Blue / Gold / Orange / Platinum tiers cardboardconnection lists. Those four sids were NOT read and are NOT cited on the rows; only cardboardconnection supports them. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/263018/2020-21-Panini-Impeccable ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/273658/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/273663/x ; https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-impeccable-basketball-nba-cards
  • G-016 REFUSED TO WRITE: 18 PANINI BLOCKCHAIN DIGITAL SETS. tcdb files 48 subsets (sids 273536-273583) under this parent whose names all begin "BC ". A probe of sid 273575 "2020-21 Panini Impeccable - BC Rookie Autographs" shows Total Cards 13 and every row flagged with the literal string "Panini Blockchain - Digital Card" (e.g. "RA-BAL LaMelo Ball SN10, Panini Blockchain - Digital Card Charlotte Hornets"). These are digital cards, not printed cards pulled from packs, and this catalogue has no digital/physical distinction, so writing them into sets.csv would silently inflate a physical product's set inventory. They are excluded from sets.csv and recorded here so a later pass can add them deliberately if the catalogue decides to cover digital issues. The 18 distinct sets are: Elegance Retired Jersey Autographs, Elegance Rookie Jersey Autographs, Elegance Veteran Jersey Autographs, Extravagance Autographs, Illustrious Ink, Impeccable Draft Pick Autographs, Impeccable Hall of Fame Autographs, Impeccable Jersey Number Autographs, Impeccable Rookie Signatures, Impeccable Stars Signatures, Impeccable Stats Autographs, Impeccable Victory Signatures, Indelible Ink, Rookie Autographs, Silver Draft Logo, Silver HOF Logo, Silver NBA Logo, Stainless Stars Autographs. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/273575/2020-21-Panini-Impeccable-BC-Rookie-Autographs ; https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/263018/2020-21-Panini-Impeccable
  • G-017 rookie_flag IS UNKNOWN ON ALL 100 BASE CARDS. tcdb prints no (RC) token on any row 1-100 of the parent checklist while printing "RC" on every row 101-140, and twenty 2020 draft-class rookies sit inside the base run (81 Tyrese Maxey, 82 Precious Achiuwa, 83 RJ Hampton, 84 Aleksej Pokusevski, 85 Isaiah Stewart, 86 Cole Anthony, 87 Aaron Nesmith, 88 Kira Lewis Jr., 89 Tyrese Haliburton, 90 Devin Vassell, 91 Jalen Smith, 92 Deni Avdija, 93 Obi Toppin, 94 Killian Hayes, 95 Onyeka Okongwu, 96 Isaac Okoro, 97 Patrick Williams, 98 LaMelo Ball, 99 James Wiseman, 100 Anthony Edwards), so "no" would be false and "yes" is not shown by any source. Same conclusion as impeccable-bkb-2019-20 but re-derived from this season's own evidence. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/263018/2020-21-Panini-Impeccable?PageIndex=1 ; https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/263018/2020-21-Panini-Impeccable?PageIndex=2 ; https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/263018/2020-21-Panini-Impeccable?PageIndex=9 ; https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/263018/2020-21-Panini-Impeccable?PageIndex=10
  • G-018 SPEC DEFECT FOUND: EXTRACTION_SPEC 3.2 says "Checklist.cfm?PageIndex=N PAGINATES AT 100 ROWS PER PAGE". Pagination is indeed 100 (page 2 of this parent begins at card 101), but the fetch layer TRUNCATED page 1 at row 75 and reported "Last card number shown: 75" when re-asked to start from row 71 - i.e. it asserted the page ended where it had truncated. Rows 76-100 had to be recovered from Gallery.cfm?PageIndex=8-10. The spec should say that Checklist.cfm paginates at 100 but that a summarizing fetch still truncates it around row 75, so the last quarter of every 100-row page needs a Gallery cross-check. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/263018/2020-21-Panini-Impeccable?PageIndex=1 ; https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/263018/2020-21-Panini-Impeccable?PageIndex=2 ; https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/263018/2020-21-Panini-Impeccable?PageIndex=9
  • G-019 NO PACK ODDS FOUND for any set in this release. Neither cardboardconnection nor checklistcenter publishes stated odds for 2020-21 Impeccable, and tcdb does not carry odds. Every stated_odds, odds_evidence_url and odds_evidence_quote is therefore empty, and every scarcity_tier is empty rather than guessed. Evidence: https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-impeccable-basketball-nba-cards ; https://www.checklistcenter.com/2020-21-panini-impeccable-basketball-card-checklist/
  • G-020 license_status WAS NOT SUPPLIED BY THE TASK PROMPT and is not independently sourced. "licensed (NBA/NBPA)" is carried forward from impeccable-bkb-2019-20, on the basis that the product is an NBA-team-licensed set with on-card player autographs; no page fetched in this pass states a licence. licensed=yes and league=NBA are supported by every card row carrying an NBA team. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/263018/2020-21-Panini-Impeccable?PageIndex=1 ; https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-impeccable-basketball-nba-cards
  • G-021 TWO STRUCTURAL COINCIDENCES AGAINST THE 2019-20 SIBLING, CHECKED AND NOT TEMPLATE-FILLED (EXTRACTION_SPEC 4.5). (a) Both releases end up with 26 non-Update sets and a 100-card base run, but the set NAMES differ substantially - 2020-21 adds Award-Winning Autographs, Impeccable Draft Pick Autographs, Impeccable Hall of Fame Autographs, Spectra Hall of Fame Signatures and Stainless Stars Autographs parallels in Blue/Purple/Orange/Asia Red, and drops Impeccable Career Assists/Points/Rebounds Autographs and Impeccable All-Stars Autographs from the main run. (b) Base parallel figures differ where a template would repeat them: Gold is #/49 in 2019-20 and #/60 here, Holo Silver #/25 there and #/35 here, while Silver #/75, Holo Gold #/10 and Platinum 1/1 are unchanged. Insert counts also moved (Silver NBA Logo 49 -> 50, Gold NBA Logo 14 -> 15). Evidence: https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-impeccable-basketball-nba-cards ; https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/263018/2020-21-Panini-Impeccable
  • G-022 CARD-LEVEL CHECKLISTS FOR ALL 35 NON-BASE SETS ARE OUT OF SCOPE for this pass (CHASE_CHECKLIST_SPEC governs them). sets.csv records that each set exists with its card count; no insert_cards.csv was written. The per-set tcdb sids needed for that pass are recorded in each sets.csv row. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/263018/2020-21-Panini-Impeccable
  • G-023 A SOURCED BASE-SET PARALLEL THAT THE SCHEMA CANNOT HOLD, SO IT IS RECORDED HERE INSTEAD OF BEING GUESSED. cardboardconnection lists the base set's Asia tiers as "ASIA PARALLELS: Base, Red #/8, Red & Gold 1/1." and checklistcenter as "Asia Parallels: Base; Red #/8; Red & Gold 1/1" - so a plain Asia base parallel EXISTS (sourced), beside two siblings that carry figures, and neither source states its print run. migrations/003_parallels.sql CONSTRAINT unknown_run_only_when_scoped forbids print_run=UNKNOWN on a base-set row, so the row could not be written as UNKNOWN and has been REMOVED from parallels.csv; the other two base-scope Asia rows (Asia Red #/8, Asia Red & Gold 1/1) are unaffected. WRITING unnumbered/no WAS CONSIDERED AND REJECTED, AND THE PROBE SHOWS IT WOULD HAVE BEEN FALSE, NOT MERELY UNSUPPORTED: the set-scope analogue of this exact tier, tcdb sid 273634 "2020-21 Panini Impeccable - Rookie Autographs Asia", states Total Cards "40" and renders "AU, SN88" on EVERY one of its 40 rows ("RA-ACH Precious Achiuwa AU, SN88 Miami Heat"). On this product a plain Asia tier that an aggregator lists as "Base" with no figure is SERIAL NUMBERED; the missing figure is an omission by the aggregator, not an assertion of absence. This is the opposite of the certified-bkb-2019-20 Mirror Blue / Mirror Red case, where the absence was evidenced by a renderer that DID print SN flags on the sibling rows of the same set - here no such flag column exists at base scope, because tcdb catalogues no sid for any base-set parallel of this release (see G-007). EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.1 is directly on point: "Absence of a figure in a checklist is not a statement of fact." TO RESOLVE: find a source that states the base Asia tier's print run, or a tcdb/marketplace card of it whose serial flag can be read - the set-scope tier is #/88, so #/88 is the figure to test for first, but a base-scope figure must NOT be inferred from a set-scope one (a base set's tier and an insert set's tier of the same name are different objects). SCHEMA FINDING: the constraint comment reads "On a base-set parallel it means someone skipped the work." That is not the only way to reach the state. This row is a counterexample - existence sourced from two aggregators, print run stated by nobody - and the constraint makes it unexpressible, so the catalogue loses a sourced parallel rather than recording it as unresolved. This is the same expressiveness gap EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.3 already documents for "serial numbered, run unknown" (see G-003), one column further out.
