  • G-001 tcdb.com's set-overview page returned 'Total Cards: 163' in a fetch that also bled in sidebar links to an unrelated 2020-21 National Treasures Update II product; rejected as base_set_size (confirmed 100 via three independently-matched full checklists from checklistcenter.com, cardsmithsbreaks.com and checklistinsider.com). Consistent with the tcdb subset-bundling trap caught in every prior sibling season.
  • G-002 cardlines.com's review states a release date of 'December 11, 2024', conflicting with the three-source-confirmed 2025-01-08 hobby date (checklistcenter.com, cardsmithsbreaks.com, checklistinsider.com) and checklistinsider.com's separately-stated 2024-12-26 FOTL date. cardlines' figure may reflect the FOTL window loosely or may simply be wrong; not resolved.
  • G-003 cardboardconnection.com's page for this product returned generic/templated prose for base_set_size and a base parallel ladder (Silver /99, Gold /49, Emerald /25, Holo Silver /10, Platinum 1/1) that conflicts with the three-source-matched ladder used in parallels.csv; it also names an insert set 'Colossal Signatures' that no other source corroborates -- the same cross-product name-bleed pattern the task brief flags for beckett's 'Colossal Signatures' claim. Both rejected.
  • G-004 Unlike every confirmed prior sibling season (2019-20 through 2022-23), the 2023-24 base checklist -- corroborated identically across three independent sources -- includes at least twelve members of the CURRENT (2023) draft class directly in the base set (e.g. #14 Victor Wembanyama, #100 Brandon Miller, #50 Cam Whitmore), where prior seasons confined current-year rookies to the Rookie Patch Auto set only. Treated as a genuine break in convention (not fabrication, given three-source agreement) but flagged for downstream review.
  • G-005 No Panini Product Information Sheet PDF could be located for 2023-24 National Treasures Basketball. blog.paniniamerica.net's 'Warm Up Winter with 2023-24 Panini National Treasures NBA' post is promotional prose only, with print-run detail limited to the insert-level Treasured Metals set ('numbered from 25 all the way down to the coveted 1-of-1'), not base.
  • G-006 beckett.com returned HTTP 403 on every fetch attempt for this product; its checklist could not be directly checked for a 'Colossal Signatures'-style naming trap. The concern was independently encountered instead via cardboardconnection.com (see G-003).
  • G-007 Logoman Autographs: checklistcenter.com states 40 cards, checklistinsider.com states 39. Timeless Talents Signatures: checklistcenter.com states 29 cards, checklistinsider.com states 28. Both single-digit disagreements between the two most complete sources; checklistcenter.com's figures used as primary in sets.csv, disagreement logged here.
  • G-008 checklistcenter.com and checklistinsider.com both state 40 cards; cardsmithsbreaks.com states 50 cards. checklistcenter/checklistinsider agreement used as primary.
  • G-009 checklistcenter.com's fetch reported 192 cards for this set, sharply conflicting with the 2022-23 sibling's identically-named 100-card, all-1/1 set, and not corroborated by any second source. Recorded card_count=UNKNOWN in sets.csv rather than propagate an unverified figure.
  • G-010 cardsmithsbreaks.com and blog.paniniamerica.net both name and describe this set (Silver/Gold/Platinum editions, print runs '25 down to 1-of-1') but neither states a card count, and checklistcenter.com's fetch was truncated before reaching it. Recorded card_count=UNKNOWN.
  • G-011 No source (checklistcenter.com, cardsmithsbreaks.com, checklistinsider.com) specifies a retail/hobby/regional channel for the Pink, Gold, Emerald or Amethyst base parallels beyond implying they are standard hobby-configuration parallels; recorded UNKNOWN per the instruction not to force a near-miss channel value rather than assuming 'hobby'. [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 61 of 63 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 61 of 63 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 61 of 63 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 61 of 63 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 61 of 63 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 61 of 63 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 61 of 63 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 61 of 63 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 61 of 63 parallels lack a sourced channel.]
  • G-012 The ~40-50 insert/auto/memorabilia set count target in the task brief was approached (49 sets recorded) via checklistcenter.com's full listing, cardsmithsbreaks.com and checklistinsider.com, but checklistcenter.com's own page was observed to truncate mid-listing (cut off inside 'Treasured Metals'); a small number of additional low-profile insert sets may exist and were not captured. No stated pull odds were found for any set (see scarcity pass), consistent with all four prior siblings' legitimately empty scarcity files.
  • G-013 This release's notes describe base cards or a base subset as serial-numbered, but the figure is only in prose and could not be resolved into structured data. base_print_run is UNKNOWN rather than guessed. Resolving it needs either a base_card_tiers partition for this release or a re-read of the source that stated the run.
  • G-014 TWELVE sets have NO card-level rows written because tcdb.com -- the only source that prints this product's real card codes -- carries an empty subset for them ('The checklist for this set is not yet available'), and no substitute exists. Sets and their tcdb subset sids: Autographs Dual (19 cards; base sid 489850, Gold 489851, Platinum 489852 -- all three empty), Colossal Logoman (UNKNOWN; sid 489865), Court Pass (15; base sid 489879, International 489880, Platinum 489881 -- all empty), Highly Treasured (11; sid 489890), Logoman Autographs (40, all 1/1; sid 489891), Notable Nicknames (9, all 1/1; base sid 489910, Platinum 489911), Personalized Treasures (87; sid 489924), Rookie Jumbo Brand Logo Booklet (UNKNOWN; tcdb calls it 'Rookie Jumbo Prime Brand Logo Booklet Autographs', sid 489943), Rookie Jumbo Jersey Number Booklet Autographs (30; sid 489937), Rookie Logoman (50, 1/1; sid 489944), Treasured Tags Autographs (10, 1/1; sid 490015), Treasured Talents Signatures (9; sid 490016). checklistcenter.com and cardsmithsbreaks.com DO list players for several of these but they renumber -- see G-015 -- so their digits are internal sequence numbers, not printed card numbers, and were refused. beckett.com 403'd on every attempt including its dedicated 2023-24 Logoman Autographs page. 280 cards (the sum of the ten sets that have a numeric card_count; the other two are UNKNOWN in sets.csv) remain unresolved; resolving them needs marketplace listings card by card.
  • G-015 SOURCE CALIBRATION FINDING for this release. checklistcenter.com and cardsmithsbreaks.com both RENUMBER the coded sets of 2023-24 National Treasures. Tested on NBA Greatest Signatures, a set whose printed codes are independently confirmed: checklistcenter.com prints '1 Magic Johnson / 2 Isiah Thomas / 3 Charles Barkley / 4 Shaquille O'Neal / 6 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar / 7 Ray Allen' and cardsmithsbreaks.com prints the same 1,2,3,4,6,7; the real printed numbers are NGS-MGJ, NGS-ITH, NGS-CBK, NGS-SON, NGS-KAJ, NGS-RAY (tcdb sid 489900, corroborated by ebay.com '#NGS-NAB' for Nate Archibald). Note the fake sequence HAS A HOLE at 5 -- so a gap in a numeric run is not evidence of a genuine printed run, exactly as the corrected spec states. Neither site was used for card_number anywhere in this release. Their PLAYER lists are not disputed.
  • G-016 SINGLE-SOURCE, POSSIBLY CLONED NUMBERING. tcdb (sid 489925) gives this 50-card set the numbers 101-150 with exactly the same player at each number as the parent Rookie Patch Autographs set (tcdb sid 489965). The Rookie Patch Autographs 101-150 numbering is itself directly confirmed by goldin.co ('Rookie Patch Autograph (RPA) Orange #101 Amen Thompson'), but NO listing quoting a Retro 2012 card's number was found, so it remains possible that tcdb cloned the RPA numbering onto this subset and the Retro 2012 cards carry their own numbering. Rows were written as tcdb prints them; treat the mirroring as unconfirmed. The 2021-22 sibling recorded the identical pattern for its 'Crossover 2009 Rookie Patch Auto' set (its gap G-019).
  • G-017 Card-level work surfaced these disagreements with sets.csv. GAME GEAR: sets.csv says 28 (checklistcenter.com single-source); tcdb has 37 coded GG- cards and is internally consistent about it (Prime sid 489888 = 37, Super Prime sid 489889 = 37, International Red sid 489887 = 34, International sid 489886 = 27). 37 rows were written. TREASURED SIGNATURES: sets.csv says 20; tcdb's base subset (sid 490007) and its International parallel (sid 490011) both return the identical 21 coded cards. 21 rows were written. TREASURED METALS: sets.csv records UNKNOWN (gap G-010); tcdb's Gold (sid 490004) and Silver (sid 490006) editions both return 20 cards numbered 1-20, and goldin.co confirms '#2 Victor Wembanyama' -- this resolves G-010 to 20, pending a sets-level pass. TIMELESS TALENTS SIGNATURES: gap G-007 recorded a 29-vs-28 disagreement; tcdb's International parallel (sid 489993) returns 29 and its base (sid 489989) 28, which supports checklistcenter.com's 29 (the value already in sets.csv). sets.csv was NOT modified -- out of scope for this task.
  • G-018 Rows omitted because tcdb's card_number field is literally 'TBD' or blank; the player is known in every case, only the printed code is missing. Autographs Triple 1 (Tyrese Maxey / De'Aaron Fox / Shai Gilgeous-Alexander -- 'TBD' in both the base sid 489853 and Gold sid 489854 subsets), so 8 of 9 written. Clutch Factor Signatures 3 (Jordan Poole and Paul George 'TBD' in base sid 489862; Cole Anthony blank in Super Prime sid 489864), so 38 of 41 written. Colossal Material Autographs 2 (Sasha Vezenkov 'TBD' in both subsets, Alperen Sengun 'TBD' in Super Prime sid 489868). Rookie Materials Autographs Dual 1 (Sasha Vezenkov), so 39 of 40 written. Resolving these needs a marketplace listing per card.
  • G-019 TWO CARDS OMITTED BECAUSE TCDB CONTRADICTS ITSELF. tcdb's base subset (sid 489866) prints CMA-AMT for Amen Thompson and CMA-DAY for Deandre Ayton; its Super Prime parallel (sid 489868) prints CMA-AMN and CMA-AYT for the same two players. Everything else in the two subsets agrees. No marketplace listing quoting either card could be found, so neither code was written -- a wrong identifier is worse than a missing one. 45 of 49 written (the other two omissions are the 'TBD' rows in G-018). Note CMA-AMT is also the Clutch Factor Signatures code for Amen Thompson (CFA-AMT shares the suffix), which is a plausible route for a tcdb data-entry slip, but that is an inference and was not acted on.
  • G-020 Confirmed prefix collisions -- (set_name, card_number) is the only safe key for this release. 'CM-' is used by TWO different sets: Century Materials (CM-BAM Bam Adebayo, CM-TAT Jayson Tatum ...) and Colossal Materials (CM-BAM Bam Adebayo, CM-TAT Jayson Tatum ...) -- several codes are byte-identical across the two sets while denoting different cards. 'RM-' is used by TWO different sets: Retro Materials (RM-BEA Bradley Beal ...) and Rookie Materials (RM-VWB Victor Wembanyama ..., confirmed by ebay.com '#RM-VWB /99'). 'TM-' is used by TWO different sets: Timeless Treasures Materials (TM-LBJ LeBron James, Miami Heat) and Timeline Materials (TM-JAM LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers). Prefixes also differ from sibling seasons of this same line: Penmanship is 'P-' here (2021-22 used 'PMS-'), Signatures is 'S-' here (2021-22 used 'SIG-'), National Archives Ink is 'NAI-' in both. Three sets that sets.csv models as standalone sets -- All-NBA Signatures Bronze, Signatures Bronze, Viewpoint Signatures Bronze -- carry their PARENT set's codes (ALL-, S-, VS-), so those codes are non-unique across set rows by design.
  • G-021 Duplicate card numbers written verbatim because tcdb shows them as genuine printed duplicates within one set, each pair sharing plausible initials with both players real members of the set: Peerless Signatures PS-BOB (Bob Cousy / Bob McAdoo) and PS-JHD (Jaden Hardy / Jrue Holiday); Colossal Material Autographs CMA-JWL (Jalen Williams / Jalen Wilson, present in both the base and Super Prime subsets); Rookie Jumbo Materials RJM-JHW (Jett Howard / Jordan Hawkins); Rookie Materials RM-JHW (Jett Howard / Jordan Hawkins). These make card_number non-unique within a set; flagged rather than de-duplicated.
  • G-022 FABRICATION CHECK NOTE. Three uniformity signals fired and each was investigated. (1) Rookie Dual Materials (RD-), Rookie Jumbo Materials (RJM-), Rookie Materials (RM-) and Rookie Triple Materials (RTM-) carry the SAME 25 rookies. Genuine: four material formats of one 25-player rookie subject list, each fetched from its own tcdb subset (sids 489932, 489938, 489945, 489980) and each returning its own DISTINCT suffixes -- Amari Bailey is RD-AMA, RJM-AMB and RM-ABL in three of them, so this is not a prefix-swapped template fill. (2) Rookie Patches (151-163) and Rookie Patches 2009 (RP9-) carry the same 13 rookies on two different numbering schemes -- two design variants of one subject list; RP9-VWB is independently confirmed by store.nba.com. (3) Retro 2012 Rookie Patch Autographs and Rookie Patch Autographs share both list and numbering -- see G-016. COPY CHECK: Rookie Patches and Rookie Patches 2009 overlap the base run 100% by player, and Material Treasures 90%. Explained, not fabrication: per existing gap G-004 this season puts the 2023 draft class directly into the 1-100 base set, so a 13-rookie insert set necessarily reuses base players; Material Treasures is a 29-star memorabilia set drawn from the same star pool. No set mirrors the base run's ORDER, and no 2024-or-later draftee appears anywhere in the 1,094 rows written (temporal check clean).
  • G-023 TWO TCDB READING TRAPS hit during this work, recorded so a later pass does not repeat them. (1) tcdb's ChecklistByLastName.cfm and ChecklistByName.cfm views render a bare 1..N ROW INDEX in the leftmost column for some subsets: ChecklistByLastName.cfm/sid/490000 (Timeless Treasures Materials Super Prime) returned '1 J.J. Barea, 2 Patrick Beverley ... 28 Andrew Wiggins' while the default Checklist.cfm view for the same subset prints TM-JJB, TM-BEV etc. Those digits are display indices, NOT printed numbers, and were not written. ChecklistByName.cfm was used only to re-verify already-known codes (it renders them as '#NGS-AGM' etc.), never as a source of new numbers. (2) The default Checklist.cfm view SILENTLY TRUNCATES: sid 490000 states 'Total Cards: 28' in its header but renders only 24 rows. The union of the International (sid 489997) and Super Prime (sid 490000) subsets recovered 29 cards, exactly matching sets.csv.
  • G-024 Recorded for a sets-level pass; sets.csv was NOT modified. (a) TWO named insert sets exist on tcdb for this release that have NO row in sets.csv: 'Treasured Threads' (base sid 490017, 20 cards, prefix TD-, with International sid 490018 at 17 and Super Prime sid 490021 at 21) and 'Tremendous Treasures' (Super Prime sid 490024, 21 cards, prefix TM-). No rows were written for them because set_name must match sets.csv byte for byte. The 2021-22 sibling reported the same two set names missing from its own sets.csv (its gap G-017). (b) tcdb also carries a set called plain 'Treasured Tags' (sid 490014, empty) DISTINCT from the 'Treasured Tags Autographs' (sid 490015) that sets.csv has -- again matching the 2021-22 sibling. (c) NAMING MISMATCHES between sets.csv and tcdb, left unresolved rather than 'tidied': sets.csv 'Rookie First Edition Signature Booklets' vs tcdb 'Rookie First Edition Signatures Booklet'; sets.csv 'Rookie Jumbo Brand Logo Booklet' vs tcdb 'Rookie Jumbo Prime Brand Logo Booklet Autographs'; sets.csv 'Treasured Tags Autographs' vs tcdb 'Treasured Tags Autographs' (matches) alongside the separate 'Treasured Tags'. (d) tcdb's parent page for this release (sid 457665) also carries carry-over subsets from prior seasons -- '2020-21 Panini National Treasures Update II: Peerless Signatures / Treasures of the Hall' (sids 489789-489798), '2021-22 ... Update II: Peerless Signatures' (sids 489799-489803) and '2022-23 Panini National Treasures Update I: ...' (sids 489804-489842). sets.csv has no rows for any of these, so none were written; a sets-level pass should decide whether they belong to this release.
  • G-025 NOT RESOLVED, recorded because it contradicts a source. tcdb has no checklist for Notable Nicknames (sids 489910 base, 489911 Platinum). checklistcenter.com lists the set with numbers '2 Julius Erving, 3 Donovan Mitchell, 4 Carmelo Anthony, 5 Gilbert Arenas, 6 Tim Duncan, 7 Jalen Brunson' -- but an ebay.de listing title reads '2023-24 National Treasure Jalen Brunson Notable Nicknames Auto "1A" 5/25' (https://www.ebay.de/itm/156627497002), i.e. a card_number of '1A' for Jalen Brunson, not '7'. One listing is not enough to build a checklist and the quoted string may be a seller's shorthand, so NO rows were written for this set; but it is further evidence that checklistcenter.com's digits for this product are internal sequence numbers rather than printed numbers (see G-015).
