- G-001 Release date disagreement: checklistcenter.com, gogts.net, and dacardworld.com (FOTL box listing) all state September 29, 2021; cardsmithsbreaks.com states September 28, 2021. Used the 3-source date (Sept 29, 2021).
- G-002 Panini America's own blog ('Detailed Sneak Peek' post) lists an original preview/target date of September 10, 2020, which conflicts sharply with the actual street date used elsewhere (Sept 2021). Treated as a superseded/original-announcement date, not the actual release date, consistent with widely-reported COVID-era delays to the 2020-21 NBA card release calendar; not independently confirmed as the reason for the discrepancy.
- G-003 Card count disagreement: cardsmithsbreaks.com and sportscardchecklist.com both say 42 cards; a checklistcenter.com summary said 45 cards. Used 42 (2-source agreement).
- G-004 Card count disagreement: cardsmithsbreaks.com and sportscardchecklist.com both say 28 cards; a checklistcenter.com summary said 30 cards. Used 28 (2-source agreement).
- G-005 Card count disagreement: cardsmithsbreaks.com and sportscardchecklist.com both say 36 cards; a checklistcenter.com summary said 39 cards. Used 36 (2-source agreement).
- G-006 Card count of 25 is effectively single-source (only surfaced via one checklistcenter.com-derived summary); could not independently corroborate via a second detailed source in the time available.
- G-007 Card count of 25 is effectively single-source (only surfaced via one checklistcenter.com-derived summary); could not independently corroborate via a second detailed source in the time available.
- G-008 Print run of /10 comes from checklistcenter.com only. Could not find an independently listed /10-numbered base card (eBay/COMC searches for this specific tier returned no confirming listing) to reach multi-source confidence.
- G-009 checklistcenter.com lists these four base parallels with no print run ('unspecified'), recorded here as unnumbered. Distribution channel (retail exclusive? redemption? region-limited?) could not be confirmed from any source, and no second detailed editorial source enumerating this exact base-parallel list (beyond one sportscardchecklist.com index page, which supported the name list but not print runs) was found. Flagged as single-source for print run/channel. [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 5 of 14 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 5 of 14 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: count is now 41 of 50 - the channel pass resolved -36 of these with cited evidence. - G-010 tcdb.com lists a set titled '2020-21 Panini Obsidian - Electric Etch White Pulsar' with 240 total cards (card numbering 1-80+ visible, headed by Kevin Durant #1). This card count (240) does not match the confirmed 200-card base checklist, and Panini America's own store lists 'Electric Etch White Pulsar' as a 'Rewards Exclusive Pack' (redemption item), not a standard pack-pulled parallel. Because the card count could not be reconciled with the base set and no print run could be corroborated, this parallel was EXCLUDED from parallels.csv rather than guessed at. Needs a follow-up pass reading the full tcdb checklist and the Panini Rewards program page to determine whether it is a true base-parallel (should be added to parallels.csv) or a separate redemption-only side set.
- G-011 The 14-parallel Electric Etch base tree in parallels.csv is corroborated by two independent detailed sources (a checklistcenter.com-derived summary and a sportscardchecklist.com set index) that agree on all 14 names. A third source (cardboardconnection.com) could not be fetched directly due to robots.txt blocking, and beckett.com returned HTTP 403 on every attempt, so a true third independent detailed source was not obtained for the base-parallel family as a whole.
- G-012 Per-set parallel-tier repair pass (2026-08-27, targeted): looked for insert/autograph colour parallel tiers for these non-base sets and found none to source -- Mist, Vitreous. checklistcenter.com listed no Parallels line for either set during the 2026-08-27 targeted parallel-tier repair pass. Left unannotated.
- G-013 Structural finding, 2026-09-11 chase-checklist pass. tcdb has NO subset sid for Rookie Jersey Autographs anywhere: Inserts.cfm for the parent (sid 277473) lists 100 insert sids running 283187-283286 strictly alphabetically with no gap where this set would fall, and ViewSet.cfm probes at 283172 and 283287 return foreign products (2021 Upper Deck James Bond Villains & Henchmen; 1997-98 Pinnacle Uncut), so the block is bounded. The set is instead filed INSIDE the parent base checklist as cards 201-240, every row flagged 'AU, MEM, RC, SN99'. That is what the parent's otherwise unexplained 'Total Cards: 240' against a 200-card base means. Corroborated independently by cardboardconnection.com and breakninja.com (identical 40 players at 201-240) and by two marketplace titles (goldin.co lot '#234 Tyrese Haliburton'; ebay.de seller title '#202 Xavier Tillman RC ... Auto JSY'). RELATED TO G-010: the 240-card count on tcdb's 'Electric Etch White Pulsar' parallel is consistent with 200 base + this 40-card autograph block rather than with a 240-card base run, which is new evidence bearing on that open gap. Not acted on here -- parallels.csv is out of scope for this pass.
- G-014 Set-name disagreement found 2026-09-11. Both tcdb.com (sid 283253) and cardboardconnection.com title this set 'Rookie Private Signings Association Version' (with the trailing word 'Version'); sets.csv carries 'Rookie Private Signings Association'. insert_cards.csv uses the sets.csv spelling unchanged, as required. Flagged as a naming question, not corrected. Set is otherwise fully resolved: 3 of 3 cards, prefix PSA-.
- G-015 team_or_school disagreement for Tyrell Terry on PSA-TTE. The tcdb subset page (sid 283253) renders 'Minnesota Timberwolves'; cardboardconnection.com renders '31 Tyrell Terry - Dallas Mavericks'. Every other appearance of this player in this release -- tcdb's own base card 200, tcdb Rookie Jersey Ink RJI-TYT, and the Rookie Jersey Autographs block at 236 -- reads Dallas Mavericks. Dallas Mavericks written, cited to cardboardconnection; the tcdb subset page value is treated as a source error but has not been independently disproved.
- G-016 Three printed codes each sit on two different players and are written as two rows apiece, per the (set_id, card_number, player_name) key: AU-ALH (Al Horford / Allan Houston), GAL-BBR (Brent Barry / Bruce Brown), SH-DRO (David Robinson / Dennis Rodman). All three suffixes fit both players' initials, and both tcdb views (Checklist.cfm and Gallery.cfm) render the duplicate. The cid-adjacency smear test could NOT be applied to discriminate a copy-down error from a genuine collision: ViewCard cids run strictly sequentially in display order on the Aurora page (17303907-17303916) and the Spectra page (17299762-17299766), and effectively sequentially on the Galaxy page (17295147-17295156), which disarms the test. Recorded as genuine collisions; if any later turns out to be a data-entry smear, one row per code is wrong.
- G-017 New independent evidence bearing on five existing open card-count gaps, found 2026-09-11 while building insert_cards.csv. tcdb rendered-row counts, each re-verified against a Gallery.cfm page, agree with the sets.csv value and against the dissenting checklistcenter.com summary in every case: Aurora Autographs 42 (G-003), Onyx Autographs 28 (G-004, tail page PageIndex=3 renders 8 entries, 20+8), Rookie Jersey Ink 36 (G-005, tail page renders 6, 30+6), Mist 25 (G-006), Vitreous 25 (G-007). All 445 catalogued non-base cards in this release reconcile exactly against sets.csv. Original gap rows left untouched.
- G-018 Chase-checklist run summary, 2026-09-11. insert_cards.csv created; 445 rows written across all 17 non-base sets, reconciling exactly with sets.csv card_count for every set (0 abstentions, 0 withheld rows, 0 TBD/TBA tokens, 0 bare-prefix tokens). Primary source tcdb.com Checklist.cfm, with every set's row count re-verified against tcdb Gallery.cfm and six sets additionally re-fetched verbatim page-by-page. Numbering schemes established per set from rendered evidence for THIS season only: six inserts plain 1..N (Eclipse, Mist, Pitch Black, Supernova, Tunnel Vision, Vitreous); ten autograph sets letter-coded with ten distinct prefixes (AU-, AW-, GAL-, LS-, MM-, ONY-, RJI-, PSA-, SH-, VOL-); Rookie Jersey Autographs an own block at 201-240 (see G-013). Source calibration for this release: tcdb prints the real codes (confirmed against fanatics.com/nbastore.com and an ebay.de free-text seller title on Aurora); breakninja.com and cardboardconnection.com renumber the coded sets with internal sequence ordinals and were used for ROSTER corroboration only. One contaminated marketplace record was identified and rejected: ebay.com catalogue page /p/28056581756 '2020-21 Panini Obsidian - Aurora Autographs #AU-37 Ja Morant /99 (AU)' -- the real prefix bolted onto a placeholder ordinal, where tcdb prints AU-JAM. Errors.cfm on sid 283280 returned an ordinary checklist-shaped page with no errata entries.
