  • G-001 Release date: 5 sources (checklistinsider.com, cardsmithsbreaks.com, breakninja.com, gogts.net, dacardworld.com) agree on 2024-06-05. checklistcenter.com states the release year as '2023' (internally inconsistent with everything else it reports about this 2023-24 product, treated as a typo). cardlines.com independently states 2024-05-22. Used the 5-source majority (2024-06-05); the cardlines.com date is unresolved.
  • G-002 tcdb.com's paginated checklist explicitly showed (or explicitly omitted) an 'RC' tag for card numbers 1-82 and 101-187, but repeated WebFetch attempts on card ranges 83-100 and 188-200 were truncated by the fetch tool before reaching those rows, so no direct RC-tag read was possible for those 31 cards. Of those 31, 8 were cross-confirmed as rookies via the independently-corroborated 40-name Rookie Jersey Autographs checklist (marked yes: #83, #87, #89, #91, #95, #188, #194, #197). The remaining 23 (#84,85,86,88,90,92,93,94,96,97,98,99,100,189,190,191,192,193,195,196,198,199,200) are marked rookie_flag=UNKNOWN per spec, even though outside knowledge strongly suggests most are veterans/legends and a few (e.g. #90 Craig Porter Jr., #93 Jordan Hawkins, #98 Taylor Hendricks, #191 Nick Smith Jr.) are plausibly 2023 rookies without an autograph-set card. None were guessed.
  • G-003 Electric Etch Blue Flood FOTL print run disagrees: checklistinsider.com and cardsmithsbreaks.com say /16; checklistcenter.com says /26. Used the 2-vs-1 majority (/16). Not resolved with a third independent source.
  • G-004 Electric Etch Orange Flood: gogts.net and dacardworld.com both list it as '/75' (identical wording to each other, likely the same boilerplate retail product description), conflicting with 3 independent checklist sources (checklistinsider.com, cardsmithsbreaks.com, checklistcenter.com) which all separately list Orange Flood /99 AND Reggae Flood /75 as two distinct tiers. Treated the retailer pair as an outlier/conflation and kept Orange Flood at /99.
  • G-005 Electric Etch International, Neon Flood, Pink Pulsar, and Red Flood are corroborated to exist (checklistinsider.com + checklistcenter.com list all four by name; tcdb.com hosts a standalone checklist for Red Flood; live comc.com/eBay listings exist for Pink Pulsar and Neon Flood base cards) but no source gives a print run or explicitly states 'unnumbered' for the basketball product. They were recorded as print_run=unnumbered on the inference that every numbered tier in the same source lists DOES show a run and these four consistently do not, which is the documented pattern for plain 'Flood'/'Pulsar' aesthetic tiers in this product line -- but this is an inference, not a verbatim statement, and should be verified against a wrapper/sell-sheet if one surfaces. A same-named 'Electric Etch Neon Flood' in 2023 Panini Obsidian FOOTBALL is documented as numbered /3, which is NOT carried over to basketball (different product) but is a reason for caution.
  • G-006 Twilight Signatures count: checklistinsider.com and cardsmithsbreaks.com say 28; checklistcenter.com says 29. Used 2-vs-1 majority (28).
  • G-007 Galaxy Ink count: cardsmithsbreaks.com and checklistcenter.com say 49; checklistinsider.com says 50. Used 2-vs-1 majority (49).
  • G-008 Electric Etch Molten Mojo (/10) and Electric Etch Lucky Envelopes (/8) are reported only by checklistinsider.com and checklistcenter.com, whose phrasing across this whole product is near-identical in several places, raising the possibility they share a common upstream data feed rather than being fully independent. cardsmithsbreaks.com, dacardworld.com, and gogts.net do not mention either parallel. Recorded with source_confidence=single out of caution despite technically appearing on 2 domains.
  • G-009 cardboardconnection.com (robots-blocked) and beckett.com (403 on every URL tried, including the Black Color Blast checklist page and the main news article) were unreachable for this release, consistent with prior seasons' findings. No official Panini sell sheet or wrapper-odds PDF was located; Panini does not appear to publish numeric pack odds for this basketball product, consistent with the task brief.

  • G-024 Per-set parallel-tier repair pass (2026-08-27, targeted): looked for insert/autograph colour parallel tiers for these non-base sets and found none to source -- Black Color Blast, Mist, Vitreous, Volcanix, 2023-24 Panini Private Signings. checklistcenter.com listed no Parallels line for these during the 2026-08-27 targeted parallel-tier repair pass. Left unannotated.
  • G-025 3 insert/auto set(s) in this release are documented as carrying their own parallel tier, but no source enumerated the colours, so no scoped parallel rows could be created. The tier exists; its members are unknown.
  • G-026 Galaxy Ink: 46 of 49 card_numbers written. THREE rows withheld. (1) Luka Doncic and (2) D'Angelo Russell render as the BARE ORDINALS '1' and '20' on an otherwise fully GI--coded page -- confirmed verbatim on tcdb sid 439471 and on the ViewCard hrefs themselves (.../Galaxy-Ink-1-Luka-Doncic, .../Galaxy-Ink-20-D'Angelo-Russell), and still bare on all four parallel tiers checked (Electric Etch Green 439474, Purple Flood 439476, Gold Flood 439473, Vibrant Mojo 439477), so the parallel-page test came back inconclusive. These are PROVEN placeholders, not merely suspect: checklistcenter.com's own renumbered listing of Galaxy Ink puts Luka Doncic at slot 1 ('1 Luka Doncic - Dallas Mavericks #/49*') and D'Angelo Russell at slot 20 ('20 D'Angelo Russell - Los Angeles Lakers #/99'), exactly matching tcdb's tokens -- aggregator-to-tcdb contamination. Both players are genuine members of the set; only their printed codes are unresolved. (3) Zach LaVine is withheld because tcdb renders TWO DIFFERENT tokens for the same card across tiers and both are page-derived from the row's own ViewCard href: base sid 439471 gives 'GI-LAV' (ViewCard.cfm/sid/439471/cid/25163455/2023-24-Panini-Obsidian-Galaxy-Ink-GI-LAV-Zach-LaVine) while Electric Etch Green, Purple Flood, Gold Flood and Vibrant Mojo all give 'GI-LVN' (ViewCard.cfm/sid/439477/cid/25163766/...-Vibrant-Mojo-GI-LVN-Zach-LaVine). No marketplace listing title for a LaVine Galaxy Ink card was found to break the tie, so neither token was written -- picking the 4-to-1 majority would be a derivation, and 'repairing' either form is the prefix-transposition trap. Re-open if a seller title surfaces.
  • G-027 Matrix Material Autos: 15 of 18 card_numbers written. Three rows carry the LITERAL STRING 'TBD' in tcdb's card-number column and are withheld per spec: Dejounte Murray (cid 25429604), Jonathan Isaac (cid 25429605) and Russell Westbrook (cid 25429607) on sid 439495. The parallel-page test was run twice and failed both times -- Electric Etch Green (sid 439498) and Electric Etch Green Flood (sid 439499) both render 'TBD' for the same players. Errors.cfm/sid/439495 supplies the reason and converts this from an unexplained gap into EVIDENCED ABSENCE: all three rows carry the flag 'EXCH' (Dejounte Murray 'AU, MEM, SN75, EXCH'; Jonathan Isaac 'AU, MEM, SN99, EXCH'; Russell Westbrook 'AU, MEM, SN49, EXCH') -- they are exchange/redemption cards whose printed number tcdb does not hold. sportscardspro.com renders Dejounte Murray's card as '#7', which is an aggregator slot number, not a printed code, and was not used. All three players are genuine members of the set; the roster is complete at 18 even though the numbers are not.
  • G-028 Twilight Signatures card_count is settled at 28 by tcdb, independently of the sources sets.csv used. G-006 recorded a 2-vs-1 split (checklistinsider.com and cardsmithsbreaks.com 28, checklistcenter.com 29) resolved by majority. tcdb's base page (sid 439547) renders only 25, but its Electric Etch Vibrant Mojo tier (sid 439554) states Total Cards: 28 and renders exactly 28 rows, and Electric Etch Green (sid 439551) renders 27 -- a nested union of 28 distinct TS- codes, which is what was written. The three codes absent from the base page are TS-BNT (Dick Barnett), TS-NIA (Georges Niang) and TS-OKO (Chuma Okeke). This is a RECOVERY case, not parallel scope: sets.csv sides with the larger page and its count is tcdb-independent, so the tiebreaker is armed. checklistcenter.com's 29 is not corroborated by anything. sets.csv was NOT edited; recording here for a future maintainer.
  • G-029 Magmatic Signatures: sets.csv says 49; tcdb's base page (sid 439488) renders only 47, but its Electric Etch Green tier (sid 439491) states Total Cards: 49 and renders exactly 49, supplying the two missing codes MS-MAR (Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf) and MS-NIA (Georges Niang). Both codes are independently attested by eBay catalogue entries (ebay.com/p/24068313366 '#MS-MAR', ebay.com/p/27068322369 '#MS-NIA'). All 49 written. Galaxy Ink: sets.csv says 49 (G-007 resolved a 2-vs-1 split against checklistinsider.com's 50); tcdb's base page renders 48 and its Electric Etch Vibrant Mojo tier (sid 439477) states and renders 49, supplying GI-CRG (Torrey Craig), whose membership checklistcenter.com independently confirms. checklistcenter.com also reports 49 for Galaxy Ink and 49 for Magmatic Signatures. Both sets.csv counts stand; no edit made.
  • G-030 TWO endpoint behaviours on this release contradict CHASE_CHECKLIST_SPEC.md as written and should be re-tested on the next line before being relied on. (1) The spec states 'Gallery.cfm renders no team at all, so ChecklistByLastName.cfm is the way to fill team_or_school'. On this release Gallery.cfm DOES render a team for every card row -- verified across all 20 sets by a second full verbatim pass that asked for 'card number | player | team' and returned a team on every row (e.g. sid 439440 page 1: 'CE-ANT | Anthony Edwards | Minnesota Timberwolves'). team_or_school here is therefore sourced from Gallery.cfm itself, filled for every set, and ChecklistByLastName.cfm -- which renders a row index in the card-number column -- was never needed. (2) Inserts.cfm on sid 421834 did NOT exhibit any of its four documented failure modes: it listed 152 entries (134 insert + 18 base-parallel), every sid it gave resolved to the heading it claimed, it did not truncate its tail, and it correctly emitted the two out-of-block sids 439197 and 439199 rather than interpolating them into the 439438-439569 run. It was accurate but not COMPLETE: Rookie Jersey Autographs has no sid of its own and does not appear on it at all. Errors.cfm behaved exactly as the briefing predicted -- on sid 439471 it rendered an ordinary checklist-shaped page that is NOT an errata list -- but it earned its keep the second documented way, exposing the per-row EXCH flag that explains Matrix Material Autos' three TBD rows (see G-027).
  • G-031 Targeted chase-checklist fill for the 20 unstarted sets of 2023-24 Panini Obsidian (Black Color Blast's 25 pre-existing rows were left untouched). 568 of 574 outstanding cards written; 6 withheld, all named in G-026 and G-027. Eighteen of twenty sets reconcile exactly with sets.csv card_count; the two that do not are Galaxy Ink (46/49) and Matrix Material Autos (15/18), both short only for withheld-token reasons, not missing rosters -- every player in both sets is accounted for. FIVE numbering schemes were derived independently per set from rendered tcdb evidence for THIS season only, never carried across from a sibling Obsidian season: plain 1..N for the seven non-autograph inserts (Equinox, Hotspot, Mist, Orbital, Supernova, Vitreous, Volcanix), letter codes for all four memorabilia sets (CE-, EM-, EG-, UM-), letter codes for eight of the nine autograph sets (RE-, RJI-, TS-, GI-, MS-, MM-, VS-, PS-), and a dedicated OWN BLOCK at 201-240 for Rookie Jersey Autographs, which has no tcdb sid of its own and is filed inside the 240-card parent checklist (sid 421834) past the 200-card base run. The memorabilia block does NOT share a code space with its namesake insert: Equinox is plain 1..40 while Equinox Gear is EG--coded. Every page was fetched twice and the two verbatim reads compared; this caught one real defect -- the first read of Matrix Material Autos page 1 silently dropped MM-SUG (Jalen Suggs), making the set look like 17 of 18 when it renders 18. Every plain 1..N insert was additionally checked against its own Electric Etch parallel tier, which prints the same ordinals. The coded scheme was calibrated against marketplace evidence independent of tcdb: comc.com card-page URL path segments (whose path IS the printed number) for Rookie Jersey Ink and Rookie Jersey Autographs, and eBay free-text seller titles for Galaxy Ink, Rookie Jersey Ink and Twilight Signatures. Two marketplace contamination shapes were met and rejected: ebay.com/itm/166947355666 returned a clean search snippet but its page title is tcdb catalogue form carrying the flag string '(AU, MEM, RC)', so it was discarded as circular; and ebay.com/itm/316581294365 reads '2023-24 Panini Obsidian Galaxy Ink #28 Gabe Vincent Auto /149' -- a bolted-on aggregator ordinal on a card tcdb and this file both record as GI-VCT. No aggregator was used for any card_number: checklistcenter.com renumbers Galaxy Ink 1..49 and sportscardspro.com renumbers Matrix Material Autos, and both were used for rosters only. team_or_school is filled for all 568 rows from Gallery.cfm (see G-030) and is complete for every set, never partially within one.
