• G-001 Release date 2024-12-20 (hobby) confirmed by four independent sources (checklistinsider.com, cardsmithsbreaks.com, waxstat.com, steelcitycollectibles.com); FOTL date 2024-12-06 only from checklistinsider.com (single-source). No first-party blog.paniniamerica.net dated release-announcement post was found giving an explicit street date (the 'One Gift to Rule' blog post itself is dated/republished 2024-12-20 but does not state a separate official date sentence).
• G-002 checklistinsider.com states '17 total' autograph sets but names only 15; checklistcenter.com supplies two additional 1-card 'Update' autograph sets (2020-21 First-Team Signatures Update, 2022-23 Update) that reconcile the count to 17 but were not independently named by checklistinsider.com. Names/counts for these two rows are single-source.
• G-003 Could not confirm or rule out whether Downtown, Downtown Variation, Rookie Exclusive, Timeless Moments (insert), Day One Signatures, Number Ones, Once Upon a Time Signatures, Precision Rookie Jersey Autographs, Presenting, Prolific Signatures, Quad Patch Autographs, Rookie Autographs, Rookie Jersey Autographs, or Rookie Jumbo Jersey Autographs carry their own parallel/color tiers distinct from the confirmed tiers on Jersey Autographs, The Oneders Signatures, and Timeless Moments Autographs. No source found documenting this either way, so no note was added -- absence of evidence, not evidence of absence.
• G-004 cardboardconnection.com's own review copy calls Downtown a '(case hit)' in passing, which conflicts with dacardworld.com's explicit box-configuration language stating Downtown is drawn from the SAME card slot as Base/Base Parallel ('one of the following in each box'). Per the precedent held on 2022-23 of this line, the box-mechanics source was treated as authoritative and Downtown was NOT tiered as case-hit/SSP; no numeric pull odds were found anywhere (blog.paniniamerica.net, retailer pages, breaker sites) for any set or parallel in this release. scarcity_sets.csv and scarcity_parallels.csv are empty by design.
• G-005 team_or_school values were assigned from general 2023-24 NBA roster knowledge, cross-checked against a partial team-grouped checklist (cardsmithsbreaks.com, covering roughly cards 1-90) where available, but were not independently re-verified card-by-card against a second source for every row (especially in-season trade cases such as #24 OG Anunoby, #34 Immanuel Quickley, #37 RJ Barrett, #72 Pascal Siakam, #66 P.J. Washington Jr., #26 Terry Rozier III -- printed team assumed to be the pre-trade-deadline team since Panini print schedules typically lag trades).
• G-006 No source found with an explicit 'NBA/NBPA licensed' statement for this release (same gap noted on 2022-23); license_status follows the task-default assumption. No evidence found that Logoman or Fractal Patch relic/autograph sets (present in 2024-25) exist in this 2023-24 product -- confirmed absent across checklistinsider.com and checklistcenter.com full set listings.
• G-007 Rookie Exclusive (sets.csv card_count 5): ZERO card numbers written. tcdb has no checklist at all -- sid 481879 renders 'The checklist for this set is not yet available' and the set has no parallel sid (481879 sits alone between Rookie Autographs Red 481878 and Rookie Jersey Autographs 481880), so the parallel-page test was unavailable. The only two sources carrying it, https://www.checklistinsider.com/2023-24-panini-one-and-one-basketball and https://www.sportscardspro.com/console/basketball-cards-2023-panini-one-and-one-rookie-exclusive , BOTH render the identical run '2 Amen Thompson / 3 Ausar Thompson / 4 Bilal Coulibaly / 5 Keyonte George / 6 Brandin Podziemski' -- a 5-card set numbered 2-6 rather than 1-5, which is an offset artifact, not a printed run; and their agreement is not corroboration because checklistinsider demonstrably renumbers coded sets in this same release (it prints Jersey Autographs as 1/2/3 where the cards read JA-KAT/JA-JJJ/JA-BIG). No marketplace seller title naming any Rookie Exclusive player at a specific number was found, so the spec-required check before writing a numeric card_number could not be met. ROSTER PRESERVED, numbers withheld -- the five players are: Amen Thompson (Houston Rockets), Ausar Thompson (Detroit Pistons), Bilal Coulibaly (Washington Wizards), Keyonte George (Utah Jazz), Brandin Podziemski (Golden State Warriors).
• G-008 Timeless Moments Dual Autographs: 4 of 5 written. The 5th card, the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar / Julius Erving dual, is withheld because tcdb stores the LITERAL STRING 'TBD' in its card-number column on BOTH the base page (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/481913/2023-24-Panini-One-and-One-Timeless-Moments-Dual-Autographs) and the Gold parallel (sid 481915), and https://www.tcdb.com/Errors.cfm/sid/481913/2023-24-Panini-One-and-One-Timeless-Moments-Dual-Autographs returned NO entries, so it could not resolve the token. The other four cards are TMD-DAL, TMD-GSW, TMD-MVP and TMD-SA -- note these are TEAM/EVENT codes, not player-initial codes, so the missing token is not reconstructible even in principle (there is no rule to apply, and applying one would be derivation).
• G-009 Quad Patch Autographs: all 13 rows rest on a SINGLE source, https://www.sportscardspro.com/console/basketball-cards-2023-panini-one-and-one-quad-patch-autograph . tcdb carries no checklist for this set on any of its four sids -- base 481868 and parallels Gold 481869, Green 481870, Platinum 481871 each render 'The checklist for this set is not yet available' -- so the parallel-page test could not recover it. Grounds for writing anyway: (1) sportscardspro passed per-set-type calibration inside this same release, reproducing the irregular two-character JA-AS (Alperen Sengun) and JA-AAG exactly as tcdb's own ViewCard hrefs print them, i.e. it transcribes rather than generates; (2) its 52 rows resolve to 13 distinct players x 4 tiers, and 13 is exactly the independent card_count in sets.csv; (3) the prefix QPA- is corroborated by a second source. CAVEAT FOR A LATER PASS: all 13 suffixes follow a perfectly regular first-initial + first-two-of-surname pattern (ADA, AED, CBA, CBO, JER, JMO, LBI, LDO, NJO, SCU, SNA, TDU, YMI), which is unlike every other set in this release, where the generator is irregular. That regularity is an observation about the source page, not the method used to produce these values -- but it is the one thing that would look the same if the source HAD generated them, so re-verify against a marketplace seller title if one ever appears.
• G-010 Legends (#151-200, 50 cards): the entire set rests on tcdb ALONE, and cards 181-200 rest on a single tcdb PAGE TYPE. Legends is filed inside the parent base checklist (sid 443934) with no subset sid of its own and is absent from Inserts.cfm entirely; the parent header 'Total Cards 200' overshooting release.csv base_set_size 150 by exactly 50 is what reveals it. Cards 151-180 came from https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/443934/2023-24-Panini-One-and-One-Basketball?PageIndex=2 ; cards 181-200 came only from Gallery.cfm PageIndex=19 and 20, because Checklist.cfm truncated at card 180 on one slug and at 176 on a second slug (stochastic truncation, confirmed by the moving cut point). Gallery pagination was index-aligned first: PageIndex=18 reproduced checklist rows 171-180 exactly, proving index == card number with no unissued numbers. Consequence: team_or_school is EMPTY on cards 181-200 because the Gallery view does not render a team and no second source for the Legends subset was found. No marketplace title naming a Legends card at a number was located either, so the 151-200 range itself is single-sourced.
• G-011 CONTRADICTION FOUND, NOT EDITED -- aggregator card_counts for two sets exceed sets.csv, in the parallel-inflation shape already documented on 2022-23 of this line. https://www.checklistinsider.com/2023-24-panini-one-and-one-basketball renders Jersey Autographs as a 1-20 run (20 cards) where sets.csv says 16 and tcdb sid 481826 renders exactly 16 coded JA- rows; and renders Quad Patch Autographs as a 1-15 run (15 cards) where sets.csv says 13 and sportscardspro resolves to exactly 13 distinct players. Our counts are corroborated by the coded pages in both cases; checklistinsider's are not. Reported for review; sets.csv was not touched.
• G-012 NAMING -- tcdb uses different qualifiers for three of our sets; our sets.csv names were kept byte for byte and tcdb's are recorded here and in each row's notes. (a) our 'Number Ones Autographs' is headed '2023-24 Panini One and One - Number Ones' at https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/481840/2023-24-Panini-One-and-One-Number-Ones . (b) our '2020-21 First-Team Signatures Update' is headed '2023-24 Panini One and One - 2020-21 Panini One and One Update II: First-Team Signatures' (sid 481808). (c) our '2022-23 Update' is headed '2023-24 Panini One and One - 2022-23 Panini Flawless Update I: USA Basketball' (sid 481812) -- note this Update card comes from a DIFFERENT PRODUCT LINE (Panini Flawless), not from a prior season of One and One, which our generic name does not convey. Both Update sets were filled rather than excluded because sets.csv carries explicit rows for them; each row's set identity was confirmed from its own ViewCard href rather than from the page heading.
• G-013 SUFFIX CONFLICT, resolved in favour of the page-derived value. For Luka Doncic in Timeless Moments Autographs, sportscardinvestor.com renders 'TMA-LUD' (https://www.sportscardinvestor.com/cards/luka-doncic-basketball/2023-one-and-one-timeless-moments-autographs-49-tma-lud) while tcdb's own ViewCard href reads 'https://www.tcdb.com/ViewCard.cfm/sid/481905/cid/28828268/2023-24-Panini-One-and-One-Timeless-Moments-Autographs-TMA-LKD-Luka-Doncic'. TMA-LKD was written because the href is page-derived and embeds both the number and the name. The conflict is logged because LUD is a real form for this player elsewhere on this line, so this is a genuine disagreement rather than an obvious error; a marketplace seller title would settle it.
• G-014 RESOLVES PART OF G-003, which recorded that we could not confirm whether various sets carry their own colour tiers. tcdb's Inserts.cfm for parent sid 443934 now answers it directly: of the 119 One-and-One sids in the block 481800-481919, 7 are base-set parallels and 112 belong to the insert families, of which 21 are the set base pages and 91 are per-set parallel sids. Sets our parallels.csv has NO scoped rows for but which demonstrably carry their own tiers on tcdb include Day One Signatures (Gold/Green/Platinum/Red), Jumbo Jersey Autographs (Blue/Gold/Green/Platinum/Purple/Red), Number Ones, Once Upon a Time Signatures, Precision Rookie Jersey Autographs (incl. FOTL), Presenting, Prolific Signatures, Quad Patch Autographs (Gold/Green/Platinum), Rookie Autographs, Rookie Jersey Autographs (incl. FOTL), Rookie Jumbo Jersey Autographs (incl. FOTL), Timeless Moments (Gold/Platinum/FOTL White) and Timeless Moments Dual Autographs (FOTL/Gold/Platinum). Measured tier sizes where fetched: Jersey Autographs Red 7 (matches the checklistcenter figure already in parallels.csv), Timeless Moments Gold 5 (equal to base), Rookie Jersey Autographs FOTL 19 (equal to base), The Oneders Signatures Purple 35 / Red 41 / Platinum 44. Reported for review; parallels.csv was not touched, as parallel enumeration is outside this task's write scope.
