- G-002 MEASURED CONTRADICTION of the task briefing and of EXTRACTION_SPEC section 3.2. The briefing states that on the large Optic parent Inserts.cfm truncates before the Parallel Sets heading, on four consecutive seasons, and that parallel sids must therefore be enumerated with ViewSet.cfm instead. ON THE 2018-19 OPTIC PARENT IT DOES NOT TRUNCATE. One fetch of https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/191579/2018-19-Donruss-Optic returned all three section headings - "Insert Sets (141)", "Mail-In Sets (1)" and "Parallel Sets (31)" - and every row under each, 173 rows in one response. The rendered rows were counted by hand rather than taken from the headers and they agree exactly: 141 insert rows decompose as 18 parent sets plus 123 parallel tiers, and the parallel section renders 31 rows. A second fetch under a different URL (https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/191579/2018-19-Panini-Donruss-Optic?sort=0) returned the same 31 parallel rows with the same sids. The spec's wider claim that truncation on this page is PARENT-dependent rather than size-dependent survives; what is refuted is that this particular parent truncates. The sid enumeration was still done independently, as the briefing required, and both boundaries were proved.
- G-003 Inserts.cfm Notes-column shape on this parent, measured per section as the spec requires. The PARALLEL SETS section is NOT the Prizm shape and the blank-annotation test cannot be run on it: there are no blank cells at all. Every one of the 31 rows carries something - 22 carry a real serial statement ("Serial numbered to 199", "Serial numbered 1/1"), 7 carry an image-completion percentage ("61.5% of images added"), and 2 carry a scope statement instead ("#151-200 only"). A non-blank cell therefore means nothing by itself. This is the Contenders Optic / Chronicles shape the spec lists, appearing here in a PARALLEL section rather than an insert one. The INSERT SETS section is worse: it carries no serial statements at all except on the eight Franchise Features rows. Print runs for the seven percentage-annotated base tiers were therefore established by row-level probe, not by the Notes column. Source: https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/191579/2018-19-Donruss-Optic
- G-004 POSITIVE CONTROL and the form of the discriminative test used. Before any "unnumbered" was written, the renderer was tested in three directions on ONE endpoint, Checklist.cfm?PageIndex=2, all three inside this same parent: Orange renders the literal token "SN199" on every row (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/197336/2018-19-Donruss-Optic-Orange?PageIndex=2); White Sparkle Prizm renders the literal token "PR20" on every row (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/282777/2018-19-Donruss-Optic-White-Sparkle-Prizm?PageIndex=2); Holo renders no token on any row (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/197297/2018-19-Donruss-Optic-Holo?PageIndex=2). All six percentage-annotated base tiers were then probed on that same endpoint and all six render no token: Holo, Blue Velocity, Checkerboard, Choice Dragon, Fast Break Holo, Hyper Pink and Purple. This is the within-sid positive discriminative test in its strongest form and it is what licenses print_run=unnumbered on those tiers.
- G-005 METHOD DEFECT, and it nearly produced a false reading. ViewSet.cfm and Checklist.cfm DO NOT RENDER FLAG TOKENS THE SAME WAY through this fetch layer. Probed on ViewSet.cfm, the White Sparkle Prizm rows were reported as carrying no flag token at all (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/282777/2018-19-Donruss-Optic-White-Sparkle-Prizm). The identical rows on Checklist.cfm carry the literal token "PR20" on every one (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/282777/2018-19-Donruss-Optic-White-Sparkle-Prizm?PageIndex=2). Had the ViewSet reading been trusted, a tier with a stated print run of 20 would have been recorded as carrying no serial information whatever. Every row-level serial probe in this build was consequently re-run on Checklist.cfm, and the six "no token" readings above are Checklist.cfm readings, not ViewSet.cfm ones. EXTRACTION_SPEC section 3.2 documents ViewSet.cfm as the inline-checklist tool and does not warn that its flag column can come back empty; it should.
- G-006 NEW LITERAL FLAG TOKEN, not documented in EXTRACTION_SPEC, and a schema-expressiveness gap behind it. tcdb renders "PR20" - not "SN20" - on every row of the White Sparkle Prizm tier, and renders the set-level Notes "Print run of 20". On the same parent it renders "SN199", "SN99", "SN249" and so on for tiers that are serially numbered. tcdb is distinguishing a stated PRODUCTION QUANTITY from SERIAL NUMBERING, and this tier has the first without the second. parallels.print_run cannot carry that: reference/unknown_semantics.csv defines the column's "unnumbered" value as "a tier known to have no serial numbering", and the catalogue has no precedent for an integer print_run beside serial_numbered=no - 0 rows of 12,803, against 4,070 integer/yes and 1,120 unnumbered/no. print_run=unnumbered and serial_numbered=no were written because they are true of the serial axis and match every comparable White Sparkle row in the catalogue, and the figure 20 is carried verbatim in visual_notes and here. Sources: https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/282777/2018-19-Donruss-Optic-White-Sparkle-Prizm?PageIndex=2 ; https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/191579/2018-19-Donruss-Optic
- G-007 DONRUSS OPTIC PREMIUM BOX SET met and left alone, as the task prompt directed - and the shape it was met in is not the shape the instruction anticipated, so the decision is recorded for review rather than settled. tcdb does not file it as a separate product on the 2018-19 season index: it files it as a row INSIDE this parent's "Parallel Sets (31)" section, named "Premium Box Set", sid 197339, Notes "Serial numbered to 249" (https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/191579/2018-19-Donruss-Optic). Opened directly (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/197339/2018-19-Donruss-Optic-Premium-Box-Set) it renders "Total Cards: 200" over cards 1-200 with the literal token "SN249" on every row - i.e. it is structurally a full base-set parallel of this release. NO ROW WAS WRITTEN FOR IT. DIVERGENCE, and it is a real one: optic-bkb-2019-20 writes exactly this object as a base-set-scope parallel row named "Premium Box Set Base" with print_run 249, while ALSO existing as the separate release opticpremium-bkb-2019-20. Under that precedent this release is now missing a sourced tier its own next season carries. reference/brands.csv carries opticpremium as a separate brand whose product_name is "Donruss Optic Premium Box Set Basketball"; its 2018-19 release is not built in this repository and was not built here. A reviewer who wants line consistency should add the parallel row; a reviewer who wants the instruction honoured should leave it. It cannot be both and the omission must not be read as absence of evidence.
- G-008 CONVENTION DIVERGENCE on the Rated Rookie block, in both directions. This build writes two base_card_tiers rows, Base 1-150 (150) and Rated Rookies 151-200 (50), tiling base_set_size=200 exactly, and sets base_cards.card_tier accordingly. optic-bkb-2019-20 has the structurally IDENTICAL shape - its release notes say "cards 151-200 are Rated Rookies carried inside the base numbering (base cards, not a separate set)" - and writes NO base_card_tiers.csv at all, with card_tier empty on all 200 rows; donruss-bkb-2019-20 likewise writes none. donruss-bkb-2018-19, the sibling brand in this season, DOES write the two-tier tiling. Same line, adjacent seasons, opposite call. The tiers are written here because the split is established by three independent renderings and because a complete tiling is the precondition the deferred database trigger enforces; a partial one would be worse than none. Recorded rather than resolved silently.
- G-009 Both tier rows carry print_run=UNKNOWN and serial_numbered=UNKNOWN, and channel=UNKNOWN. The quotes behind them support the card RANGES only. No source states a print run per tier, and the release-level base_print_run=unnumbered is itself basis=assumed, so propagating it into a table with no basis column would launder an assumption into a fact. Follows donruss-bkb-2018-19, select-bkb-2019-20 and finest-bkb-2025-26.
- G-010 base_print_run=unnumbered is basis=assumed, not sourced. No source states in words that the 2018-19 Donruss Optic base cards carry no serial number. The evidence is discriminative but indirect: tcdb renders a serial flag token ("SN199", "SN149", "SN99", "SN88", "SN79", "SN49", "SN39", "SN25", "SN13", "SN10", "SN8", "SN5", "SN1", "SN249") on the rows of 22 of the 31 parallel sids and renders no token on any row of the parent checklist. EXTRACTION_SPEC section 2.1 names exactly this evidence shape as "assumed", not "sourced". Sources: https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/191579/2018-19-Donruss-Optic?PageIndex=1 ; https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/191579/2018-19-Donruss-Optic
- G-011 COPY CHECK fired and was investigated, not deleted. This release's 200-card base checklist is 194/200 identical to data/donruss-bkb-2018-19/base_cards.csv on card number, player and team - two different brands in one season. It is NOT the same checklist. Three rows differ in substance: card 89 is Dario Saric of the Minnesota Timberwolves here against Philadelphia 76ers in Donruss; card 101 is Rudy Gay here against Dejounte Murray in Donruss, both San Antonio Spurs; card 115 is Jimmy Butler of the Philadelphia 76ers here against Minnesota Timberwolves in Donruss. Cards 101 and 115 were re-verified on a second endpoint with a varied URL (https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/191579/2018-19-Donruss-Optic?PageIndex=11 and https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/191579/2018-19-Donruss-Optic?PageIndex=12&sort=0) and both hold. cardboardconnection describes the product as "Merging various '18-19 Donruss NBA designs with a lineup of Prizm parallels" (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2018-19-donruss-optic-basketball-nba-cards), which fits a shared-but-edited checklist. The two releases also differ on release date, parent sid, parallel ladder and set inventory, so this is not the section 5.2 identical-checklist case; it is a near-identity worth recording because a de-duplicating consumer will meet it.
- G-012 NAME-RENDERING DIVERGENCE against donruss-bkb-2018-19 on three cards, recorded because a resolver matching strings will meet both forms. tcdb's Optic parent renders card 11 as "CJ McCollum", card 118 as "JR Smith" and card 129 as "T.J. Warren"; donruss-bkb-2018-19 carries "C.J. McCollum", "J.R. Smith" and "TJ Warren" for the same three players. Card 11 and card 118 were re-read on a second endpoint with a varied URL and both came back in the form written here. Nothing was normalized in either direction; what this parent rendered is what is written.
- G-013 SCOPE CONTESTED on the Shock tier, and the two sources disagree about what KIND of object it is. tcdb renders "Shock" with Notes "#151-200 only" and "Total Cards: 50", and Checklist.cfm renders exactly 50 rows numbered 151 through 200 (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/197370/2018-19-Donruss-Optic-Shock?PageIndex=1). checklistcenter lists "Shock (Target Mega Box)" inside its "Base Set Parallels (200 Cards)" list, i.e. as a full 200-card base parallel (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2018-19-donruss-optic-basketball/). tcdb is written because its 50 rows can be counted and checklistcenter's 200 is a heading. The same disagreement does not arise for the Choice tier, which checklistcenter omits from its base list entirely.
- G-014 Both block-scope rows in this release carry globally unique names, which is the requirement migrations/003_parallels.sql actually imposes. A block row's scope_set_id is NULL unconditionally - the scope_shape CHECK forces it whether or not base_card_tiers exists - and parallel_unique_in_scope keys on (release_id, parallel_name, COALESCE(scope_set_id,'')), which never consults parallel_block_scope. So every block row in a release shares one key group. The two rows here are "Choice" and "Shock"; no other row in the file is block-scoped, and neither name is shared with the other. Note the near miss: this release also carries base-set-scope rows named "Choice Dragon", "Choice Red", "Choice Black Gold" and "Choice Nebula", and set-scope rows named "Choice" under Rated Rookies Signatures and under Signature Series. Those are safe because base-set and set scope both resolve to a NON-NULL scope_set_id, so they sit in different key groups; had any of them been filed as block scope it would have collided with the Rated Rookies "Choice" row. No name was invented to avoid this and no source name was altered.
- G-015 CHANNEL DECLINED on four base-set tiers - Black (1/1), Gold (#/10), Green (#/5) and Pink (#/25) - written as channel=UNKNOWN with an EMPTY channel_basis, per EXTRACTION_SPEC section 2.3. checklistcenter annotates the unnumbered tiers of this ladder with a configuration and annotates these four with nothing; no retailer box page names them; and the hobby quotes that cover Orange, Lime Green, Red, Blue, Pink Velocity and Gold Vinyl do not extend to them. DIVERGENCE: optic-bkb-2019-20 writes channel=hobby for its entire numbered base ladder including the equivalents of all four. Same evidence shape, opposite value, and nothing on either row tells a consumer which convention it is under. Recorded rather than smoothed over.
- G-016 channel=multi was written on three tiers and the reasoning should be checked. Holo, Checkerboard and Purple are each placed in more than one configuration by their sources - checklistcenter prints "Checkerboard (Blaster; Multi-Pack; Target Mega Box)" and "Purple (Blaster; Multi-Pack; Target Mega Box)", spanning two enum values plus a SKU with none; Holo is placed in retail by checklistcenter ("Holo (Retail)"), in hobby by DA Card World and in Choice boxes by Steel City Collectibles. channel_taxonomy.csv defines multi as "not a channel at all - asserts availability across more than one", which is exactly the claim here, and says a single named value asserts EXCLUSIVITY, which none of these sources does. DIVERGENCE: optic-bkb-2019-20 writes Holo as channel=hobby, Checkerboard as channel=blaster and Purple as channel=retail - three single values where this build found three multi-configuration statements. Sources: https://www.checklistcenter.com/2018-19-donruss-optic-basketball/ ; https://www.dacardworld.com/sports-cards/2018-19-panini-donruss-optic-basketball-hobby-box ; https://www.steelcitycollectibles.com/i/2018-19-panini-donruss-optic-basketball-choice-box
- G-017 The channel enum cannot express Multi-Pack. checklistcenter states "Blue Velocity (Multi-Pack)" and channel_taxonomy.csv records Multi-Pack as a box SKU with NO enum value, so the tier is written channel=UNKNOWN with an empty basis and channel_sku="Multi-Pack", following prizm-bkb-2018-19's handling of Red White and Blue Prizm (Multi-Pack) and Purple Pulsar Prizm (Gravity Feed). Source: https://www.checklistcenter.com/2018-19-donruss-optic-basketball/
- G-018 PRINT RUN NOT SOURCED on 121 of the 123 insert-scope parallel rows, which therefore carry print_run=UNKNOWN / serial_numbered=UNKNOWN. The only insert-scope tiers with a sourced figure are the six Franchise Features tiers that tcdb annotates with a real serial statement (Black Prizm 1/1, Blue Prizm 85, Gold Prizm 10, Lime Green Prizm 149, Orange Prizm 39, Pink Prizm 25) and the two Choice Black Gold tiers that the Steel City Choice box page states are "numbered to 8". Every other insert row's Notes cell carries an image-completion percentage, which donruss-bkb-2018-19 proved on the sibling 2018-19 Donruss parent carries zero information about serial numbering: four insert tiers blank in that column were row-probed there and all four were serial numbered. The blank-annotation test was therefore deliberately NOT run on insert scope here. This is the recurring expressiveness gap EXTRACTION_SPEC section 6 names - a tier whose EXISTENCE is sourced but whose print run nobody states - at 121 rows in one build.
- G-019 CARD COUNT CONTESTED on 3 of the 18 chase sets; the other 15 agree exactly between tcdb and checklistcenter. Dominator Signatures: tcdb renders 39 rows against checklistcenter's "Dominator Signatures (40 cards, serial numbered)". Fast Break Signatures: tcdb "Total Cards: 93" against checklistcenter's "(91 cards)". Rated Rookies Signatures: tcdb "Total Cards: 45" against checklistcenter's "(44 cards)". tcdb is written in all three because it is the renderer whose own rows can be counted, following donruss-bkb-2018-19. Note that checklistcenter also prints parallel-tier LINE counts for the same sets ("Rated Rookies Signatures Parallels (50 cards)", "Signature Series Parallels (100 cards)", "Fast Break Signatures Gold (94 cards)"), which are the section 5.4 unit trap and were not used for anything. Sources: https://www.checklistcenter.com/2018-19-donruss-optic-basketball/ ; https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/191579/2018-19-Donruss-Optic
- G-020 Uniform set-level print runs that sets.csv cannot carry, recorded in each set's notes in words only and not machine-readable. Hall Dominator Signatures is "AU, SN40" on its rows and checklistcenter states "#/40"; Rookie Dominator Signatures is "AU, SN50" and checklistcenter states "#/50". Dominator Signatures is a different case again - its rows carry "AU, SN45" and "AU, SN25", so the run VARIES BY CARD and there is no set-level figure to lose. sets.csv has no print_run column and these are not parallel tiers, so nothing structured could be written. Sources: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/197294/2018-19-Donruss-Optic-Hall-Dominator-Signatures ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/197367/2018-19-Donruss-Optic-Rookie-Dominator-Signatures ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/197251/2018-19-Donruss-Optic-Dominator-Signatures
- G-021 Two set-level channel statements that sets.csv has no column to hold, recorded in notes in words. Steel City Collectibles states "Find a full roster of Hobby Exclusive inserts, including Retro Series, All-Stars, The Rookies, All Clear for Takeoff, Swishful Thinking, and All Heart!" (https://www.steelcitycollectibles.com/i/2018-19-panini-donruss-optic-basketball-hobby-box) and, on the Fast Break box page, "Exclusive Holo Fast Break opti-chrome inserts: Retro Series, All-Stars, The Rookies, All Clear for Takeoff, Swishful Thinking, and All Heart!" (https://www.steelcitycollectibles.com/i/2018-19-panini-donruss-optic-fast-break-basketball-box). The second statement IS carried structurally, on the six Fast Break Holo parallel rows of those sets; the first cannot be, because it describes the sets themselves.
- G-022 Rated Rookies Signatures carries PLAIN INTEGER card numbers in the 151-200 range (tcdb renders 151, 153, 154 and so on) rather than the letter codes its sibling autograph sets use. It is a separate tcdb set with its own sid 197342 and "Total Cards: 45", and the parent checklist renders exactly 200 rows, so base_set_size is unaffected and this is NOT a section 5.3 block. Recorded because an agent reading only the numbers would see 45 cards apparently duplicating base slots 151-200, and because the chase pass will have to record integer card numbers in a TEXT column for this set. Source: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/197342/2018-19-Donruss-Optic-Rated-Rookies-Signatures
- G-023 Signature Series carries a printed card-code error the chase pass must not normalize. tcdb renders its first row as "SC-YMT" (Yante Maten) flagged "AU, UER" while the rest of the set uses the SG- prefix (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/197371/2018-19-Donruss-Optic-Signature-Series). This is the same defect donruss-bkb-2018-19 recorded in its own G-014 for the 2018-19 Donruss Signature Series, on the same player, with that parent's page carrying the explicit footnote "UER: Card number has SC- prefix, should be SG-". Recorded now because insert_cards.csv is a separate pass and a later agent reading only the code would either repair it or record the wrong one.
- G-024 Dominator Signatures renders one row whose card number is the bare integer "28" among 38 letter-coded DS- rows (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/197251/2018-19-Donruss-Optic-Dominator-Signatures). Recorded verbatim as the literal string the page rendered, with no gloss and no repair. This is a chase-pass item; insert_cards.csv was not written here. It does not touch base_cards.csv, whose card_number column is INTEGER and whose 200 rows are all plain integers.
- G-025 SID INTERLEAVING PROVED, as the corrected scope memo section 2 requires, and the easy-regime claim is false here too. This release's tcdb sids run 197216-197406 plus the far-away mail-in sid 282777. Lower boundary: sid 197215 renders "2017 Donruss Elite - Plates and Patches Printing Plates Magenta", a football set (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/197215/probe). Upper boundary: sid 197407 renders "2018 Grandstand Ogden Raptors", a baseball set (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/197407/probe). INTERIOR interleaving is present as well, not merely at the edges: sid 197241, sitting between Black (197240) and Black Velocity (197242), renders "2015 Topps Heritage - Black and White" (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/197241/probe); and three of the eighteen unaccounted sids 197309-197326 were probed and all three are unrelated products - 197309 is "1950-51 Bennett Prune Juice Baltimore Bullets", 197318 is "2017-18 Wheeling Nailers (ECHL) Update" and 197326 is "2006 Clubjenna Series 1". 172 of the 191 sids in the range are accounted for by Inserts.cfm's own listing; the remaining 19 are foreign or unprobed. No Optic set was found outside the Inserts.cfm listing.
- G-026 DONRUSS IS A SEPARATE BRAND AND WAS NOT ABSORBED. tcdb's 2018-19 season index renders "2018-19 Donruss Optic" at sid 191579 and "2018-19 Donruss" at sid 183682 as two distinct products (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewAll.cfm/sp/Basketball/year/2018), and reference/brands.csv carries them as two brands with different ids and product_names ("Panini Donruss Optic Basketball" and "Panini Donruss Basketball"). No set, parallel or card from the paper Donruss parent was written into this release; the build script asserts the two brand ids differ. The 2018-19 Donruss release is already built at data/donruss-bkb-2018-19 and was read but not modified. Note the two share 194 of 200 base checklist rows, which is covered in its own gap.
- G-027 Beckett was unreachable again, for at least the ninth consecutive pass. https://www.beckett.com/news/2018-19-donruss-optic-basketball-cards/ returns 302 to https://maintenance.beckett.com/ . web.archive.org remains blocked by this environment's egress proxy. Recorded because it means the usual third STRUCTURAL source is absent: several values here rest on tcdb and checklistcenter only, and those two are independent of each other but are only two.
- G-028 SET INVENTORY: two sources, and they agree 18 of 18 - but both could still share one blind spot. The 19-row sets.csv rests on tcdb's Inserts.cfm listing for its MEMBERSHIP: 18 chase sets plus the base set, matching the page's own "Insert Sets (141)" once the 123 parallel rows are separated out, with the rows counted by hand rather than taken from the header. checklistcenter independently names all 18 - the 12 inserts All Clear For Takeoff, All Heart, All-Stars, Express Lane, Fantasy Stars, Franchise Features, League Leaders, Lock it Up!, Retro Series, Swishful Thinking, The Rookies, Winner Stays, and the 6 autographs Rated Rookies Signatures, Signature Series, Fast Break Signatures, Dominator Signatures, Hall Dominator Signatures, Rookie Dominator Signatures - and adds none that tcdb omits. cardboardconnection's page listed no insert inventory at all, so there is no third structural source and Beckett is unreachable. If BOTH sources omitted a set, this build has no way to see it, and scope memo section 4 records a measured case of a set missing from its own parent's Inserts.cfm on the 2018-19 Hoops parent (sid 188510). Sources: https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/191579/2018-19-Donruss-Optic ; https://www.checklistcenter.com/2018-19-donruss-optic-basketball/ ; https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2018-19-donruss-optic-basketball-nba-cards
- G-029 AGGREGATOR NAMING DRIFT, recorded because a resolver will meet both strings. checklistcenter renders the four Choice tiers WITHOUT the word Choice, under a separate "Choice Parallels" heading - "Dragon; Red #/88; Black Gold #/8; Nebula 1/1" - and renders the seven Fast Break tiers the same way under "Fast Break Parallels". It also renders Gold Vinyl with a lower-case g ("gold Vinyl 1/1"), renders Purple Stars as "Purple Stars #/13 (First Off the Line)", and renders the insert set tcdb calls "Lock It Up" as "Lock it Up!". tcdb's renderings are written throughout. Separately, optic-bkb-2019-20 names its equivalent tier "Purple Stars FOTL" where this build writes tcdb's "Purple Stars". - G-030 SUSPICIOUS-UNIFORMITY CHECK, investigated and cleared. The base ladder overlaps optic-bkb-2019-20's heavily - Orange 199, Lime Green 149, Red 99, Pink Velocity 79, Black Velocity 39, Gold 10, Green 5, Gold Vinyl 1, and the whole Fast Break ladder 95/85/50/20/10/1 - which is the template-fill smell. Investigated rather than deleted: each figure here was read off tcdb's own per-set Notes for THIS parent and corroborated independently by checklistcenter 16 of 16 on the numbered tiers, and the two seasons genuinely differ where it matters - 2018-19 Blue is #/49 against 2019-20's #/59; 2018-19 carries Hyper Pink, Purple Stars #/13, Choice Red #/88 and a mail-in White Sparkle Prizm with a stated print run of 20, while 2019-20 carries Lucky Envelopes #/8, three Wave tiers and a Purple Stars FOTL #/29 that 2018-19 does not. The ladders are related because the product is, not because a template was filled. - G-031 PIPELINE DEFECT observed while choosing parallel_family values, reported rather than copied. pipeline/fix_schema.py assigns families by ordered substring match, and "Ink" matches inside "Pink": data/optic-bkb-2019-20/parallels.csv carries parallel_family="Ink" on every row named "Pink" - 9 rows there, and the same mis-assignment appears elsewhere in the catalogue. This build writes parallel_family="other" for Pink and Pink Prizm rather than propagating the bug, which is a deliberate divergence from the sibling season. The FAMILIES list already carries word-boundary hazards it has fixed by ordering (RayWave, Sandglitter, Holo Foil, FireFractor); Ink inside Pink is the same class of hazard and is not fixed.
- G-032 SOURCE CALIBRATION, run before any aggregator figure was used, per EXTRACTION_SPEC section 3.3. checklistcenter was tested against tcdb on questions that could be checked inside tcdb: it matched 16 of 16 on base-set parallel print runs (199, 149, 99, 88, 79, 49, 39, 25, 13, 10, 8, 5, 1, 1, and the Fast Break 95/85/50/20/10/1), 15 of 18 on chase-set card counts, and 2 of 2 on the uniform autograph print runs (#/40 Hall Dominator, #/50 Rookie Dominator, both confirmed by tcdb row tokens "SN40" and "SN50"). It failed on nothing except the three counts and the Shock scope recorded in their own gaps. The Steel City Fast Break box page was calibrated the same way and matched tcdb 6 of 6 on the Fast Break print runs before its channel statement was used. cardboardconnection was NOT used for any print run: its parallel list marks two tiers with a bare asterisk whose legend was not located, so those annotations were left unread.
