  • G-001 White is listed as one of the 9 hobby-exclusive base parallel colors by 5 sources (dacardworld.com, steelcitycollectibles.com, gogts.net, waxstat.com, tradingcardmarket.com) but no source ever states a numeric print run for it; unnumbered status inferred by its position alongside Red at the front of the combined checklistcenter.com/cardsmithsbreaks.com parallel list, not stated explicitly.
  • G-002 Basketball and Knight are named as H2-exclusive base parallels by gogts.net and steelcitycollectibles.com (and appear in the merged list on checklistcenter.com, cardsmithsbreaks.com, tradingcardmarket.com), but no source ever gives a numeric print run for either. Classified unnumbered by pattern inference only.
  • G-003 Turquoise #/25 is listed as a hobby-exclusive BASE parallel by dacardworld.com/steelcitycollectibles.com/gogts.net/waxstat.com, but steelcitycollectibles.com and gogts.net H2-box pages separately describe 'H2 exclusive Turquoise #'d/25' as a parallel tier of specific INSERT sets (Catapults, Euphoria, Nucleus, Taking the Leap), not the base set. Recorded here as a base parallel per the multi-source hobby-box listings; the insert-set usage is recorded separately in each affected set's notes in sets.csv. Could be the same color/run reused across two distinct parallel trees, or a source conflation - unconfirmed.
  • G-004 Card count disagreement: checklistcenter.com, dacardworld.com and tradingcardmarket.com agree on 2 cards; cardsmithsbreaks.com lists 12 cards. Used 2 (majority, 3 vs 1).
  • G-005 Card count disagreement: checklistcenter.com and cardsmithsbreaks.com's full-checklist page agree on 25 cards, but cardsmithsbreaks.com's set-list summary separately describes it as '75 cards across teams'. Used 25 (matches the card-by-card checklist).
  • G-006 Card count disagreement: checklistcenter.com and dacardworld.com agree on 25 cards, but cardsmithsbreaks.com's set-list summary separately describes it as '50 card combinations'. Used 25 (majority, matches card-by-card structure of sibling insert sets).
  • G-007 Listed as a distinct 8-card #/49 entity by dacardworld.com and checklistcenter.com, but steelcitycollectibles.com and tradingcardmarket.com only mention the 20-card 'Universal Autographs' set with no separate Red-numbered entry. Unclear whether this is a genuinely distinct short-print set or a mislabeling of a Red parallel within Universal Autographs.
  • G-008 No official Panini America SSP odds/preview article was found for this release. The older blog.paniniamerica.net WordPress blog (which carried usable SSP wording for the 2021-22 sibling) has no 2022-23 Origins Basketball post; the current-season announcement lives at www.paniniamerica.net/blog/... but that page is JavaScript-rendered and returned no extractable product text via WebFetch.
  • G-009 cardboardconnection.com returned a robots.txt fetch error and beckett.com/news was not attempted after repeated failures noted for this product family; tcdb.com connections were rejected by the outbound proxy (403). Neither could be used to cross-check the checklist or parallel data for this release.
  • G-010 No source found a card-level checklist, print run, or parallel tier for the 10-card Base Variation subset for this specific season; only the 10-card count is confirmed (dacardworld.com, checklistcenter.com).
  • G-011 3 insert/auto set(s) in this release are documented as carrying their own parallel tier, but no source enumerated the colours, so no scoped parallel rows could be created. The tier exists; its members are unknown.

  • G-024 Rookie Auto Booklet Patch is 40 cards per sets.csv; 28 of 40 written. tcdb https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/359366/2022-23-Panini-Origins-Rookie-Auto-Booklet-Patch renders all 40 rows and states 'Total Cards: 40', but 12 of them carry the literal string 'TBD' in the card-number column instead of a code. Per the spec 'TBD' is unwritable, so those 12 rows are withheld and their players named here: Bennedict Mathurin, Christian Braun, Christian Koloko, E.J. Liddell, Blake Wesley, Caleb Houstan, Keegan Murray, Malaki Branham, Mark Williams, Peyton Watson, Trevor Keels, TyTy Washington Jr.. Partial evidence of cause: 5 of the 12 (Bennedict Mathurin, Christian Braun, Christian Koloko, E.J. Liddell, Peyton Watson) carry the flag 'AU, MEM, SN10, EXCH' on the same page, i.e. they are exchange/redemption cards, which is evidenced absence rather than an unresolved lookup; the other 7 carry only 'AU, MEM, SN10' and are simply uncatalogued. Errors.cfm on this subset sid https://www.tcdb.com/Errors.cfm/sid/359366/2022-23-Panini-Origins-Rookie-Auto-Booklet-Patch returns no errata section, so it could not supply the missing tokens. No marketplace listing was found carrying an RAB- code for any of the 12.
  • G-025 Two duplicate letter codes written verbatim and flagged rather than withheld. (1) 'RA-JDR' is rendered on BOTH Jalen Duren and Johnny Davis at https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/359368/2022-23-Panini-Origins-Rookie-Autographs . (2) 'RAB-JDV' is rendered on BOTH Jaden Ivey and Johnny Davis at https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/359366/2022-23-Panini-Origins-Rookie-Auto-Booklet-Patch . The spec's cid-adjacency test was RUN and came back DISARMED in both cases: Gallery.cfm https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/359368/2022-23-Panini-Origins-Rookie-Autographs?PageIndex=2 returns cids 21755688-21755697 strictly sequential in display order, and https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/359366/2022-23-Panini-Origins-Rookie-Auto-Booklet-Patch?PageIndex=1 returns 27296541-27296550 strictly sequential, so on both pages every consecutive pair is adjacent and adjacency carries zero information about a copy-down smear. Per the spec's stated precondition, an ambiguous duplicate on a sequential-cid page is written and flagged, not guessed. Reconstructing a replacement from a sibling set would be derivation and was refused, though for a human reviewer's benefit: the sibling sets give Johnny Davis RJA-JDV, EA-JDV and JJ-JDW, and give Jalen Duren RJA-JDR, EA-JDR and JJ-JDP, and give Jaden Ivey RJA-JIV, EA-JIV and JJ-JIP. Neither Rookie Autographs nor Rookie Auto Booklet Patch has a parallel page rendering these players, so the parallel-page test was unavailable.
  • G-026 RECLASSIFICATION FLAGGED FOR A HUMAN; sets.csv NOT edited. The pre-existing gap G-007 asks whether 'Universal Auto Red' is a distinct 8-card set or a mislabeled Red parallel of the 20-card Universal Autographs. tcdb evidence says PARALLEL. (a) Inserts.cfm https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/349755/2022-23-Panini-Origins lists sid 359410 as '2022-23 Panini Origins---Universal-Autographs-Red', sitting in the contiguous colour-tier block with Universal-Autographs-Black/Gold/Green/Pink/Turquoise. (b) Its page https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/359410/2022-23-Panini-Origins-Universal-Autographs-Red states 'Total Cards: 8' and its 8 card_numbers (UA-AHF, UA-DRB, UA-JCL, UA-JRD, UA-JST, UA-RFX, UA-TPK, UA-VOD) are a STRICT SUBSET of the 20 codes on the Universal Autographs base page https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/359405/2022-23-Panini-Origins-Universal-Autographs - a distinct set would carry its own prefix, not reuse the parent's codes. (c) Its rows are flagged 'AU, SN49', matching the '#/49' that dacardworld.com and checklistcenter.com attach to 'Universal Auto Red'. Reading: it is a Red parallel of Universal Autographs restricted to 8 of the 20 players, which also explains why steelcitycollectibles.com and tradingcardmarket.com list no separate set. The 8 rows are written under the sets.csv name 'Universal Auto Red' as instructed. If a human accepts the reclassification, these rows belong in parallels.csv scope, not as a standalone set.
  • G-027 Base Variation resolved 10 of 10, but with two caveats a consumer must see. (1) TOKEN SHAPE: the card_numbers are written as '2b', '11b', '26b', '37b', '40b', '52b', '57b', '64b', '75b', '79b' exactly as tcdb's Errors / Variations page renders them at https://www.tcdb.com/Errors.cfm/sid/349755/2022-23-Panini-Origins-Basketball . The trailing 'b' is tcdb's disambiguator for a variation that shares its base card's printed number; it is NOT claimed to be a character printed on the card, and no marketplace listing was found that renders a 'b' suffix for this release. The numeric part IS evidenced: all 10 map to the correct player in base_cards.csv (independent of tcdb), and #40 Paolo Banchero is confirmed by a free-text eBay seller title https://www.ebay.ca/itm/275772092848 . (2) team_or_school is EMPTY for all 10 rows because the Errors / Variations page renders no team column; Gallery.cfm and ViewCard strip the 'b' suffix so they cannot be used to attach a team to the variation row specifically rather than to the base card.
  • G-028 Six Star Signatures resolved 2 of 2 (SS-DR1, SS-DR2) from https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/359395/2022-23-Panini-Origins-Six-Star-Signatures , which states 'Total Cards: 2'. This independently supports sets.csv's count of 2 against cardsmithsbreaks.com's 12 (pre-existing gap G-004), from a source none of the parties to that disagreement used. team_or_school is EMPTY for both rows: each is a six-player booklet spanning six different NBA teams and the single-team field cannot hold them honestly. player_name carries the full slash-joined six-player string as the source prints it.
  • G-029 CONTRADICTS THE PRE-EXISTING GAP G-009, which records that 'tcdb.com connections were rejected by the outbound proxy (403)' for this release. On this run tcdb.com was fully reachable and supplied every set in this pass. G-009 is left unedited per the append-only rule; this row supersedes its tcdb claim. Endpoints that worked: ViewSet.cfm (18 of 18 sets, each rendering rows equal to its own stated 'Total Cards' - no truncation anywhere on this release, including four 40-row sets), Inserts.cfm (complete untruncated listing of 88 sids, 359324-359411, NOT hitting the fetch-tool input limit the briefing warned about), Checklist.cfm, Gallery.cfm?PageIndex=N, and Errors.cfm on the parent sid. Endpoint that failed: https://www.tcdb.com/ErrorsVarsGallerySheets.cfm/sid/349755/2022-23-Panini-Origins?Slots=6 returned ROBOTS_DISALLOWED. Any other gap on this release that was recorded as unresolvable because tcdb was unreachable is worth re-opening.
  • G-030 RUN SUMMARY for the insert/autograph checklist pass on 2022-23 Panini Origins Basketball. Scope was 18 unstarted sets / 460 cards; 448 rows written, 12 withheld, all 12 being the 'TBD' rows of Rookie Auto Booklet Patch (see G-024). Every other set reconciles exactly with its sets.csv card_count: Rookie Autographs 40/40, Rookie Jersey Autographs 40/40, Elevation Signatures 40/40, Rookie Jumbo Jerseys 40/40, Universal Autographs 20/20, Origins Memorabilia 20/20, Universal Auto Red 8/8, Six Star Signatures 2/2, Base Variation 10/10, and Catapults, Euphoria, Nucleus, Originals, Roots of Greatness, Taking the Leap, Team Origins and Dawn at 25/25 each. Numbering: the eight 25-card inserts and the three pre-existing SSP inserts are plain 1..N; every autograph and memorabilia set is letter-coded (RA-, RJA-, RAB-, EA-, UA-, SS-DR, OM-, JJ-); Base Variation uses base-mirrored numbers with tcdb's 'b' disambiguator. No base-mirrored or own-block autograph scheme exists in this release. Source calibration: tcdb was tested against the 40 Big Bang / Snake Eyes / Tiger Eyes rows already in insert_cards.csv (sourced from checklistcenter.com and cardsmithsbreaks.com without tcdb) and reproduced Big Bang 1-15 roster-for-roster and order-for-order at https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/359339/2022-23-Panini-Origins-Big-Bang . Fabrication checks all run and all passed: copy check vs base_cards.csv (max 1 of 25 rows in any set matches the base card of the same number); temporal check (every rookie is 2022 draft class, no later draftee appears); uniformity check on the eight 25-card sets (no two share an identical ordered roster; max identical (card_number, player) overlap between any pair is 2 of 25); narrow verbatim re-fetch on Rookie Autographs and Rookie Auto Booklet Patch via Gallery.cfm, which returned the same codes as ViewSet.cfm plus cids. NOT attempted: no per-set parallel-page sweep was run, because no set needed one - no page returned a bare ordinal on a coded set, and no set came back short of its stated total.
