- G-001 base_set_size of 100 agrees across checklistinsider.com, cardsmithsbreaks.com and checklistcenter.com, but cardboardconnection.com labels it 'unconfirmed (TBA)' and estimates 100-150; treated as the outlier.
- G-002 Release date sources disagree: steelcitycollectibles.com (dated product page, UPC 746134164538) and checklistinsider.com agree on March 28, 2025 for Hobby, and this was used. But cardboardconnection.com says Feb 28, 2025 (Hobby) / Mar 12, 2025 (H2); cardlines.com says Mar 21, 2025; dacardworld.com's H2 box page says Apr 9, 2025; checklistinsider.com separately gives Mar 20, 2025 for FOTL.
- G-003 Rookie-block numbering (cards 73-100) disagrees between sources: tcdb.com and cardsmithsbreaks.com agree exactly (Alexandre Sarr=73, Bub Carrington=74, Stephon Castle=75, ... Zach Edey=100, 30 rookies total, including Stephon Castle). checklistinsider.com's version omits Stephon Castle entirely and shifts cards 74-99 down by one number, though both versions end at #100=Zach Edey. The tcdb.com/cardsmithsbreaks.com numbering (2-source agreement) was used.
- G-004 rookie_flag is 'yes' only for card #71 (Jaylon Tyson) and #72 (Yves Missi), the only two cards tcdb.com explicitly tags '(RC)'. Cards 73-100 are understood by roster context to be the same 2024 NBA draft rookie class, but no fetched source explicitly RC-tagged each of them individually, so rookie_flag is left UNKNOWN for 73-100 per the spec's explicit-designation rule. (A single eBay listing tags #89 Ron Holland II '(RC)' but was not used as a source per the project's marketplace-copy caution.)
- G-005 Turquoise's channel is disputed: cardsmithsbreaks.com's main article and cardlines.com both call it Hobby-exclusive (#/25), but cardsmithsbreaks.com's own separate H2-checklist page calls it H2 Blaster-exclusive. Recorded as hobby per the 2-source majority. Separately, channel could not be determined for the Maroon, Pink, White, Neon Green, and Opal base parallels, nor the unnumbered Basketballs/Cosmos parallels — no fetched source assigned them to hobby vs. H2 vs. FOTL. [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 68 of 81 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 68 of 81 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 68 of 81 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 68 of 81 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 68 of 81 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 68 of 81 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 68 of 81 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 68 of 81 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 68 of 81 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 68 of 81 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 68 of 81 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 68 of 81 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 68 of 81 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 68 of 81 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 68 of 81 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 68 of 81 parallels lack a sourced channel.]
- G-006 cardlines.com states Red as '/149 or /99' and Tessellated as '#/49', conflicting with the checklistcenter.com/cardsmithsbreaks.com-agreed values of Red #/299 (also independently confirmed by blog.paniniamerica.net) and Tessellated unnumbered. cardlines.com was treated as the less reliable source here since checklistcenter.com and cardsmithsbreaks.com match each other exactly across all 17 numbered base parallels.
- G-007 Universal Autographs card count disagrees: checklistcenter.com says 19, while cardsmithsbreaks.com and blog.paniniamerica.net both say 20. Used 20 (2-source majority).
- G-008 Meteor Shower (insert, 25 cards) is named only by checklistcenter.com; no other fetched source (including checklistinsider.com's insert lineup summary) mentions it. Card counts for Big Bang, Cosmic Storm, Dawn, Euphoria, Nucleus, Origin Stories, and Originals are single-source (checklistcenter.com only) even though their names are multi-source.
- G-009 Origination Memorabilia's parallel tier is described by cardsmithsbreaks.com only as running 'from (#/49) down to (1/1)' without naming individual colors, so it could not be written in the promotable '(Colour One, Colour Two, ...)' notes format required by the scarcity pass spec; no color-tier data is recorded for this set.
- G-010 Panini publishes no numeric pull-odds sheet for this release (consistent with prior Panini basketball findings on this project); stated_odds is blank throughout both scarcity files. scarcity_parallels.csv is empty — no fetched source stated odds, a tier, or case-hit language for any base parallel.
- G-011 The Black Snake Eyes card-level checklist was not independently located on any fetched source; ssp_cards.csv captures only the confirmed White tier (tcdb.com 'Snake Eyes White', 10 players) for the Snake Eyes SSP set.
- G-012 Elevation Signatures: 37 of sets.csv's 40 cards resolved. tcdb's base page https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/501996/2024-25-Panini-Origins-Elevation-Signatures has a stale header ('Total Cards: 38') but renders only 37 rows; its Gold parallel https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/502002/2024-25-Panini-Origins-Elevation-Signatures-Gold and Tessellated parallel https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/507409/2024-25-Panini-Origins-Elevation-Signatures-Tessellated each state 'Total Cards: 37' and render the identical 37; Gallery.cfm page 4 (https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/501996/2024-25-Panini-Origins-Elevation-Signatures?PageIndex=4) renders 7 rows, for 10+10+10+7=37. Four views say 37. The 3 missing subjects are unidentified - no source reached names or codes for them, and rows were not manufactured to close the gap.
- G-013 Rookie Autographs: 34 of sets.csv's 36 cards resolved. tcdb's base page https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/502013/2024-25-Panini-Origins-Rookie-Autographs states and renders 33; the Black parallel https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/502023/2024-25-Panini-Origins-Rookie-Autographs-Black and Tessellated parallel https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/502014/2024-25-Panini-Origins-Rookie-Autographs-Tessellated each state and render 34, supplying the one card the base page lacks (RA-JSR Jamal Shead) - the parallel-page recovery test firing successfully. The remaining 2 subjects are unidentified. Separately: the token RA-ZMR is paired with Jonathan Mogbo on every tcdb view (base ViewSet, Black, Tessellated and Gallery page 2), does not fit his initials and sorts out of alphabetical position; the row is written verbatim and was NOT repaired to RA-JMR (which is his code in Rookie Auto Booklet Patch). Errors.cfm on this subset sid was not consulted; the parent's errata page carries only base Photo Variation records.
- G-014 Rookie Auto Booklet Patch: 25 of 34 cards resolved. tcdb https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/502011/2024-25-Panini-Origins-Rookie-Auto-Booklet-Patch renders all 34 rows but 8 carry bare ordinals (1, 2, 5, 7, 16, 20, 30, 31) and 1 carries the literal string 'TBD', mixed in a single column with 25 real RAB- letter codes. The Black parallel https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/502012/2024-25-Panini-Origins-Rookie-Auto-Booklet-Patch-Black renders byte-identical placeholders, so the parallel-page test came back inconclusive. WITHHELD, roster preserved here so it survives the missing numbers: Jaylon Tyson (rendered '1'), Dillon Jones ('2'), Oso Ighodaro ('5'), Donovan Clingan ('7'), Devin Carter ('16'), Tristen Newton ('20'), KJ Simpson Jr. ('30'), Dalton Knecht ('31'), Jalen Bridges ('TBD').
- G-015 Universal Autographs: 16 of sets.csv's 20 cards resolved. tcdb https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/502038/2024-25-Panini-Origins-Universal-Autographs states 'Total Cards: 18' and renders 18 - already 2 short of sets.csv - and 2 of those 18 carry the literal string 'TBD' as their card number: Julius Erving (Philadelphia 76ers) and Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets), both flagged 'AU, SN30, EXCH'. The Black parallel https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/502048/2024-25-Panini-Origins-Universal-Autographs-Black renders the identical two TBDs, so the parallel-page test failed. Note this bears on existing gap G-007: checklistcenter.com says 19 and cardsmithsbreaks.com/blog.paniniamerica.net say 20, and tcdb is a third opinion at 18. The 2 unidentified subjects beyond tcdb's 18 were not located.
- G-016 Provenance Autographs: 19 of 20 cards resolved. tcdb https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/502004/2024-25-Panini-Origins-Provenance-Autographs states 'Total Cards: 20' and renders 20, reconciling with sets.csv, but one row carries the literal string 'TBD' as its card number: Russell Westbrook (Oklahoma City Thunder), flagged 'AU, SN15, EXCH'. The row is withheld and the player named here.
- G-017 Dual Signatures: 0 of 10 card numbers resolved - ALL ROWS WITHHELD, roster preserved here. tcdb has NO base sid for this set; only five parallel sids exist (Purple FOTL 501991, Gold 501992, Green 501993, Swirl FOTL 501994, Black 501995). Both parallel pages read - https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/501992/2024-25-Panini-Origins-Dual-Signatures-Gold and https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/501995/2024-25-Panini-Origins-Dual-Signatures-Black - state 'Total Cards: 10' and render a clean contiguous 1..10, which the chase spec names as a renumbering smell on an autograph set. Two independent placeholder runs elsewhere in this same release (Logoman and Rookie Auto Booklet Patch, both of which mix real letter codes with bare display-index ordinals) are direct in-release proof that tcdb stores placeholder ordinals on this product's premium auto/mem sets. The spec's required tiebreaker - a marketplace seller title showing what is printed on the card - was searched for and not found (ebay searches for these pairings returned unrelated or catalogue-shaped results; comc.com returned HTTP 403; gogts.net https://gogts.net/2024-25-panini-origins-nba-basketball-cards-checklist/ carries no on-page card numbers at all, only PDF/Excel downloads; beckett.com was serving a maintenance page). PAIRS (tcdb display order, numbers NOT asserted): Donovan Mitchell / De'Aaron Fox; Rasheed Wallace / Ben Wallace; Dirk Nowitzki / Jason Kidd; Amar'e Stoudemire / Steve Nash; Alonzo Mourning / Tim Hardaway; Zach Edey / Tidjane Salaun; Reed Sheppard / Matas Buzelis; Devin Carter / Bub Carrington; Ja'Kobe Walter / Dalton Knecht; Donovan Clingan / Zach Edey.
- G-018 Logoman: 3 of 20 cards resolved. CONTRARY TO THE WORKING ASSUMPTION THAT THIS 1/1 SET IS UNSOURCEABLE, tcdb does carry a sid for it (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/502049/2024-25-Panini-Origins-Logoman, 'Total Cards: 20', 20 rows rendered, every row flagged 'MEM, SN1') and 3 rows carry real LM- letter codes: LM-LRM Lauri Markkanen, LM-ARG Aaron Gordon, LM-DTS Domantas Sabonis. Those 3 are written. The other 17 render as bare ordinals equal to their display index (positions 1-9, 11 and 14-20, with the coded rows occupying exactly positions 10, 12 and 13) - the spec's mixed-code/bare-ordinal 1/1 pattern - and are WITHHELD. Roster preserved: Jaylen Brown, Derrick Rose, DeMar DeRozan, Pascal Siakam, Kawhi Leonard, Kyrie Irving, Bam Adebayo, Darius Garland, Tyler Herro, Zach LaVine, LeBron James, Mikal Bridges, Marc Gasol, DeMarcus Cousins, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Joakim Noah, Chris Andersen. No parallel sid exists for this set so the parallel-page test is unavailable; no marketplace seller title carrying an LM- code was found (the one ebay hit titled 'Logoman' - https://www.ebay.com/itm/356733103258 - is in fact a Rookie Jersey Autographs Black card, '#RJA-DHN ... (AU, MEM, RC)', and carries the tcdb flag-string fingerprint, so it is circular evidence and was not used).
- G-019 Photo Variation COUNT CONTRADICTION - sets.csv records card_count 9 and the evidence says 15. The set has no tcdb sid of its own; its tokens exist only on the PARENT sid's errata endpoint https://www.tcdb.com/Errors.cfm/sid/481777/2024-25-Panini-Origins, which is explicitly an Errors/Variations page and renders 30 records as 15 'VAR: Base' / 'VAR: Photo Variation' pairs. The variation numbers are 8b, 18b, 35b, 37b, 38b, 47b, 54b, 59b, 66b, 73b, 75b, 82b, 87b, 94b, 98b. sets.csv's note names only the first nine (8, 18, 35, 37, 38, 47, 54, 59, 66, from tcdb + cardboardconnection); the six additional variations are all 2024 draft rookies - 73b Alexandre Sarr, 75b Stephon Castle, 82b Reed Sheppard, 87b Donovan Clingan, 94b Zaccharie Risacher, 98b Bronny James Jr. All 15 are written since all 15 are evidenced; sets.csv is NOT edited by this pass and the discrepancy is left for a maintainer. TWO CAVEATS: (1) the a/b suffix is tcdb's own disambiguator and is NOT claimed to be a character printed on the card - written verbatim and unstripped per spec, never silently normalised; (2) team_or_school is empty for all 15 because Errors.cfm renders no team column and a guess is not written.
- G-020 NAMING DIVERGENCE: sets.csv carries 'Constellation Signatures' (singular) while tcdb heads the set '2024-25 Panini Origins - Constellations Signatures' (plural) at https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/501986/2024-25-Panini-Origins-Constellations-Signatures, and tcdb's Inserts.cfm listing for the parent also renders it as 'Constellations Signatures'. sets.csv's own note already records that checklistcenter.com uses the plural while cardsmithsbreaks.com and checklistinsider.com use the singular. insert_cards.csv rows were written under the sets.csv spelling byte for byte; nothing was renamed. Flagged as a naming question only - the 20-card roster matches on both sides.
- G-021 ENUMERATION WALL on tcdb's Inserts.cfm for parent sid 481777. The listing self-reports 211 entries and the fetch tool returns only the first 172, cutting at the identical entry ('Rookie Jersey Autographs', sid 502024) under two different valid slugs (https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/481777/2024-25-Panini-Origins and https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/481777/Origins-2024-25-Panini-Basketball-Cards?PageIndex=2), and ?PageIndex=2 returns the same page 1 content. Deterministic across slugs plus no server-side paging control = the limit is on the fetch tool's side of the wire, not tcdb's stochastic truncation; the slug-retry workaround does not apply and there is no paginated equivalent of Inserts.cfm. ENDPOINTS ALREADY TRIED, so a later pass with a browser or raw-HTML fetch need not rediscover this: Inserts.cfm under 2 slugs, Inserts.cfm?PageIndex=2. The 39 hidden entries were recovered instead by ViewSet.cfm sid probing plus WebSearch scoped to tcdb.com, which found Universal Autographs (base 502038, Tessellated 502039, Black 502048), Rookie Jumbo Jerseys (base 502056, Green 502060, Black 502061), Snake Eyes (502103), Taking the Leap (base 502104, Maroon 502105, Pink 502106, Black and White 502108) and Tiger Eyes (502110)/Saber Tooth (502112). The Origins sid block is NOT contiguous: sids 502035 and 502044 are '2024 Finest MLS' sets interleaved inside it, so no sid may be computed by offset.
- G-022 UNCATALOGUED SET FOUND ON tcdb, NOT IN sets.csv: '2024-25 Panini Origins - Six Star Signatures' at https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/502036/x ('Total Cards: 2') with a Black parallel '2024-25 Panini Origins - Six Star Signatures Black' at https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/502037/x ('Total Cards: 2'). Both sit inside this release's own sid block and are headed with this release's name. No source in the original ingest (checklistcenter.com, cardsmithsbreaks.com, checklistinsider.com, blog.paniniamerica.net) names it. It is outside this pass's assigned scope and sets.csv is additive-only for this agent, so no set row was created and no cards were read; recorded so a maintainer can decide. Also noted: tcdb files '2023-24 Panini Origins Update I' subsets (Elevation Signatures, Rookie Auto Booklet Patch, Rookie Autographs, Universal Autographs, sids 606886-606905) under this parent, and a '2024-25 Panini Origins Update I: Rookie Autographs Blue' under the 2024-25 Panini Select parent (sid 547340). Per spec these are a different product on a different numbering scheme and NONE of their cards were written into this release.
- G-023 RUN SUMMARY (chase/insert checklist pass, 2026-09-11). Scope: 22 unstarted sets, 526 cards per sets.csv. Resolved: 486 rows appended, 40 short. Reconciling exactly against sets.csv card_count: Rookie Jersey Autographs 40/40, Blue Moon Signatures 22/22, Constellation Signatures 20/20, Origination Memorabilia 20/20, Rookie Jumbo Jerseys 20/20, Big Bang 15/15, and all eight 25-card inserts (Cosmic Storm, Dawn, Euphoria, Meteor Shower, Nucleus, Origin Stories, Originals, Taking the Leap) at 25/25 each. Short, each with its own gap row: Elevation Signatures 37/40 (G-012), Rookie Autographs 34/36 (G-013), Rookie Auto Booklet Patch 25/34 (G-014), Universal Autographs 16/20 (G-015), Provenance Autographs 19/20 (G-016), Dual Signatures 0/10 (G-017), Logoman 3/20 (G-018). Over-resolved against sets.csv: Photo Variation 15 written vs card_count 9 (G-019). Sole card_number source throughout: tcdb.com (ViewSet.cfm as the default read, with Gallery.cfm, parallel-tier pages and the parent's Errors.cfm as the recovery routes). checklistcenter.com was used for roster/count corroboration only and never for a card_number. Marketplace corroboration was attempted and FAILED to produce any usable free-text seller title for this release: comc.com returned HTTP 403, beckett.com was serving a maintenance page, gogts.net carries no on-page numbers, and the ebay results reached were catalogue-shaped /p/ pages or /itm/ pages carrying tcdb's flag-string fingerprint (e.g. https://www.ebay.com/itm/356733103258 reading '#RJA-DHN ... (AU, MEM, RC)'), i.e. circular. Numbering schemes derived per set from this season's rendered pages, never predicted: letter-coded RJA-/ES-/RA-/RAB-/BMS-/UA-/PA-/CS-/OM-/RJJ-/LM- on the autograph and memorabilia sets; genuine plain 1..N on all nine ordinal inserts; tcdb 'Nb' suffix tokens on Photo Variation. Fabrication checks run: copy check against base_cards.csv (no insert roster mirrors the base run); temporal check (every subject is 2024-25-plausible, the retro subjects being retired players in legends subsets); uniformity check on the eight 25-card sets (confirmed eight different rosters - see G-024); narrow verbatim re-fetch on Rookie Autographs via an independent endpoint.
- G-024 UNIFORMITY CHECK CLEARED on the eight 25-card insert sets. The spec names identical length across several sets in a release as a template-fill smell, so each was read separately from its own tcdb sid and the rosters diffed: Cosmic Storm (502064), Dawn (502070), Euphoria (502076), Meteor Shower (502081), Nucleus (502086), Origin Stories (502091), Originals (502097), Taking the Leap (502104). All eight are DIFFERENT rosters with different orderings, and three are structurally distinct concepts: Nucleus is team trios (three players per card, one card per franchise), Origin Stories shows veterans with their ORIGINAL franchise (Kevin Durant = Seattle Supersonics, LeBron James = Cleveland Cavaliers, Anthony Davis = New Orleans Hornets, DeMar DeRozan = Toronto Raptors), and Dawn, Originals and Taking the Leap are three separate rookie-only checklists that each carry players the other two lack (Dawn alone has Jaylen Wells, Isaiah Collier, Pacome Dadiet and Tyler Kolek; Originals alone has Dillon Jones, Ryan Dunn, Baylor Scheierman and Johnny Furphy; Taking the Leap alone has Terrence Shannon Jr. and Yves Missi against Originals). The shared count of 25 is independently corroborated - tcdb's per-set 'Total Cards' and checklistcenter.com's counts in sets.csv were arrived at separately - so the uniformity is judged genuine.
