- G-001 beckett.com/news page for this product returned no usable verbatim content on this attempt (Beckett is frequently 403-blocked for Panini pages per project notes); it could not be used as a cross-check for release date, base set size, or checklists.
- G-002 Release date disagreement: blog.paniniamerica.net ("AVAILABLE TOMORROW... Friday, April 8th at 11am (CST)"), cardboardconnection.com, and dacardworld.com all state April 8, 2022. checklistcenter.com states April 6, 2022. cardlines.com states the product was "scheduled to release on March 18" (2022). Recorded April 8, 2022 (3 independent sources incl. the manufacturer's own blog) but the other two dates are unresolved - possibly an early estimate (cardlines) and a rounding/typo (checklistcenter).
- G-003 Color Blast card count disagrees: checklistcenter.com and cardsmithsbreaks.com both state 15 cards; a first-pass fetch of cardboardconnection.com's page stated 10. Recorded as 15 (majority) - the cardboardconnection 10-count is a single conflicting data point and could not be re-confirmed on a narrow re-fetch of that same page (it returned the same ambiguous summarized text both times).
- G-004 Sensational Signatures card count disagrees: cardboardconnection.com/blog.paniniamerica.net and checklistcenter.com state 49 (checklistcenter notes "with one noted exclusion," implying an unpublished 50th slot); cardsmithsbreaks.com states 48. Recorded as 49 (majority).
- G-005 Draft Picks Auto Choice Red (7 cards) is single-source, found only on checklistcenter.com. Not corroborated elsewhere.
- G-006 The 25-card Base Variation subset's specific card-level list (which 25 of the 100 base numbers get a variation photo) was not found published anywhere searched. Per spec, card-level checklists for non-SSP inserts/subsets are out of scope regardless, but even the identity of the 25 cards is unverifiable from available sources.
- G-007 rookie_flag is UNKNOWN for all 100 base cards. No source consulted (checklistcenter.com, cardboardconnection.com) prints explicit RC/Rookie Card designations on the checklist itself. This is a collegiate (non-NBA) product predating the players' NBA rookie seasons for most of cards 1-51, and cards 52-100 are a legends subset of already-retired/veteran players, so blanket RC flagging would be inappropriate even if a source had used the term loosely.
- G-008 The base checklist rests primarily on checklistcenter.com. Independent spot-verification against real eBay/Amazon listings confirmed cards #4 Jalen Green, #5 Jonathan Kuminga, #17 Josh Giddey, #41 Usman Garuba, #42 Alperen Sengun (team/school), and #52 Kevin Durant, #55 Kevin Love, #56 Stephen Curry, #63 Zion Williamson, #76 Alex Caruso, #85 Allen Iverson, #100 Jerry West (player/number), but the remaining ~85 of 100 rows rest on the single checklistcenter.com source alone; cardboardconnection.com's narrow re-fetches returned parallel/box data but not a usable verbatim 1-100 player list to cross-check against.
- G-009 channel is UNKNOWN for 27 of 38 base parallels (all the non-Ice, non-Choice, non-Wave/blaster ones): Silver, Green, Hyper, Ruby Wave, Blue Circles, Blue Pulsar, Gold Pulsar, Red Circles, Red Pulsar, White Sparkle, Red /299, Blue Wave /249, Blue /199, Purple Ice /149, Blue Ice /99, Orange Wave /75, Purple /75, Purple Circles /50, Orange Pulsar /49, Green Pulsar /25, Mojo /25, Pink Circles /20, Blue Shimmer /13, Gold /10, Gold Shimmer /10, Black Gold /5, Green Shimmer /5, Neon Green Circles /5, Black 1/1, Black Shimmer 1/1. Sources published the parallel ladder with print runs but not format exclusivity for these. [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: count is now 30 of 38 - the channel pass resolved -3 of these with cited evidence. - G-010 Single-source channel/print-run attributions: Purple Wave = blaster (Target listing title only, no odds statement); Choice Yellow and Choice Green = choice channel with no print run (cardsmithsbreaks.com only); Nebula = choice channel with no print run (cardsmithsbreaks.com + steelcitycollectibles.com agree it's Choice-exclusive but neither states a print run); Blue Shimmer /13 appears only on cardboardconnection.com's list, not independently corroborated; Red/White/Blue's cello-multi-pack channel attribution rests on dacardworld.com alone and that page does not explicitly claim exclusivity (just "3 per pack\)." - G-011 No manufacturer odds sheet or wrapper-odds PDF could be located for this product. Only qualitative rarity language was found for Color Blast and Stained Glass ("short-printed," "SSP," "case hit" per seller/price-guide listings) and for Tiger Stripe ("Chase 1 Tiger Stripe per case on average\ per steelcitycollectibles.com). No numeric pack odds (e.g. \"1:X packs\") were found for any set or parallel in this product."
- G-012 Stained Glass and Color Blast card-level checklists could not be fully verified. A breakninja.com fetch returned a full 15-card table for each, but 8 of 15 Stained Glass rows and 9 of 15 Color Blast rows could not be independently corroborated via a second source (sportscardinvestor.com card pages / eBay listings) despite targeted searches, so those unconfirmed rows were deliberately omitted from ssp_cards.csv rather than trusted. Only rows confirmed by a second independent source are included.
- G-013 Per-set parallel-tier repair pass (2026-08-27, targeted): looked for insert/autograph colour parallel tiers for these non-base sets and found none to source -- Draft Picks Auto Choice Red, Color Blast, On Campus, Stained Glass. checklistcenter.com listed no Parallels line for these four during the 2026-08-27 targeted parallel-tier repair pass (Draft Picks Auto Choice Red is itself a Choice Red parallel tier of Draft Picks Autographs and carries no further sub-tiers per that source). Left unannotated.
- G-014 Base Variation (sets.csv card_count 25): 1 of 25 card numbers written, 24 withheld as unsourced. This set has NO tcdb sid of its own; tcdb files all 25 variations inside the PARENT base checklist (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/287813/2021-Panini-Prizm-Draft-Picks) as "1b Cade Cunningham VAR (Orange Jersey)" through "25b Day'Ron Sharpe VAR (Ball in both hands)", i.e. photo variations of base cards 1-25 only. The 25 is proved by arithmetic rather than by the header: the parent's header says "Total Cards: 100" (stale/base-only), but Checklist.cfm page 2 (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/287813/2021-Panini-Prizm-Draft-Picks-Basketball-Cards?PageIndex=2) renders cards 76-100 as exactly 25 rows, so entries 1-100 span cards 1-75 with exactly 25 extra entries - the 1b..25b rows - and no 'b' row exists past 25b. WHY THE NUMBERS ARE WITHHELD: the printed token is disputed and cannot be read off any catalogue. tcdb prints "1b"; comc.com prints the same pair as #1.1 (base) / #1.2 (variation) - a different invented suffix; and a free-text eBay seller title (https://www.ebay.com/itm/125533157631, "Cade Cunningham 2021-22 Prizm Draft Picks Silver Prizm Rookie RC #1 Variation", Card Number field "#1") shows a bare #1 on the card. Two catalogues inventing two different suffixes plus a seller title with none is evidence the suffix is not printed - so "1b" would be a wrong identifier, and writing 2..25 would mean applying the rule 'variation N is numbered N', which is derivation, not sourcing. Only Cade Cunningham (#1) is individually sourced and written. WITHHELD PLAYERS, in tcdb parent order (base number in brackets): Evan Mobley [2], Jalen Suggs [3], Jalen Green [4], Jonathan Kuminga [5], Scottie Barnes [6], Keon Johnson [7], Corey Kispert [8], Franz Wagner [9], Jalen Johnson [10], Moses Moody [11], James Bouknight [12], Davion Mitchell [13], Kai Jones [14], Ziaire Williams [15], Isaiah Jackson [16], Josh Giddey [17], Cameron Thomas [18], Jaden Springer [19], Ayo Dosunmu [20], Tre Mann [21], Josh Christopher [22], Chris Duarte [23], Brandon Boston Jr. [24], Day'Ron Sharpe [25]. TO CLOSE: one free-text marketplace seller title per player (avoid eBay /p/ pages and /itm/ pages retitled to eBay catalogue form - ebay.com/itm/394212178289 for the Evan Mobley variation was rejected on exactly that ground, its page reading "2021-22 Panini Prizm Draft Picks - Variation Evan Mobley #2 (RC)" with a tcdb-style flag string where the search snippet had shown genuine seller free text). CONTRADICTION WITH release.csv: that file's note says the Base Variation subset is evidenced by an eBay "College Variations" listing showing card numbers 31, 56, 57, 59, 61, 64, 65. tcdb's parent checklist has NO variation row at any of those numbers - the variations stop at 25b. The likeliest reading is that the seller's phrase "College Variations" described the retired-legends-in-college-uniform base cards (56 Stephen Curry, 63 Zion Williamson etc.) rather than the SP variation subset, but that is inference; release.csv was not edited and the conflict is unresolved. Note tcdb's roster of 1-25 reconciles exactly with sets.csv's card_count of 25.
- G-015 Sensational Signatures: 48 of sets.csv's stated 49 cards written; 1 card number withheld. tcdb's page (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/306475/2021-Panini-Prizm-Draft-Picks-Sensational-Signatures) states "Total Cards: 48" and renders exactly 48 rows - internally consistent, not truncated. cardboardconnection.com (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2021-22-panini-prizm-draft-picks-basketball-cards) lists 49 players: the same 48 plus MJ WALKER (Florida State Seminoles), who is absent from tcdb's Sensational Signatures page entirely. MJ Walker's SS- code is therefore unsourced. It is NOT derived from the DP-MJW code he carries in this release's Draft Picks Autographs set: the spec documents sibling sets in one release assigning different suffixes to the same player, and this release proves it internally - Franz Wagner is CP-FRW in College Penmanship but SS-FWA in Sensational Signatures. This independently RESOLVES the open disagreement recorded in sets.csv's own note (cardboardconnection/checklistcenter say 49 with checklistcenter noting 'one noted exclusion'; cardsmithsbreaks says 48): the set is 49 players, tcdb catalogues 48 of them, and MJ Walker is the missing one. sets.csv's card_count of 49 appears correct and was not edited. TO CLOSE: a free-text marketplace title or comc.com card page for MJ Walker's 2021-22 Prizm Draft Picks Sensational Signatures auto.
- G-016 RUN SUMMARY, chase-checklist pass 2026-09-11, 13 sets in scope, 317 cards outstanding at start. WRITTEN: 292 rows. FULLY RECONCILED (rendered rows = page's own stated Total Cards = sets.csv card_count): Color Blast 15/15 (9 appended to 6 existing), Stained Glass 15/15 (8 appended to 7 existing), Brilliance 20/20, Fireworks 20/20, Flashback 20/20, Instant Impact 20/20, On Campus 20/20, Widescreen 20/20, College Penmanship 50/50, Draft Picks Autographs 49/49, Draft Picks Auto Choice Red 7/7. INCOMPLETE: Sensational Signatures 48/49 (see G-015), Base Variation 1/25 (see G-014). NUMBERING SCHEMES, each derived from this season's own rendered pages and from no sibling season: all seven plain inserts plus Color Blast and Stained Glass are plain 1..N with no prefix; all four autograph sets are letter-coded (CP-XXX College Penmanship, DP-XXX Draft Picks Autographs and its Choice Red parallel, SS-XXX Sensational Signatures). No base-mirrored or own-block set found in this release. ENUMERATION COMPLETENESS: Inserts.cfm (https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/287813/2021-Panini-Prizm-Draft-Picks) lists 158 entries; 156 of them occupy sid 306361-306516 with ZERO numeric gaps (16+25+1+25+16+15+15+1+26+1+15 = 156 = the full range), the other two being late-added parallels at 417366 and 482963, so there is nothing hiding in the block and every sets.csv set maps to a sid except Base Variation, which is the set filed inside the parent checklist (G-014). CORROBORATION: comc.com card pages, whose URL path segment is the printed number, independently confirmed CP-JSU (Jalen Suggs) and SS-MZE (Marcus Zegarowski) against tcdb; an eBay browse page confirmed CP-DJA (Dejon Jarreau); the Choice Red parallel page confirmed the DP- prefix against the base page; and tcdb Gallery.cfm independently reproduced Widescreen 1-10. DUPLICATE CODES WRITTEN AND FLAGGED (genuine initials collisions, n=2, suffix fits both players): CP-EMO (Eugene Omoruyi / Evan Mobley), CP-JPR (Jason Preston / Joshua Primo), CP-KJO (Kai Jones / Keon Johnson), SS-JCH (Josh Christopher / Justin Champagnie), SS-KJO (Kai Jones / Keon Johnson). NOT WRITTEN FROM AGGREGATORS: cardboardconnection.com was used for the Sensational Signatures ROSTER only and supplied no card_number; its own rendering of that set is a renumbered ordinal list. team_or_school is filled for every set from tcdb and is collegiate or international club throughout (no NBA team appears anywhere), consistent with this release's NCAA-NIL licence. Note tcdb prints some schools differently from this release's base_cards.csv (tcdb "Connecticut Huskies" vs "UConn Huskies", "NBA G League Ignite" vs "NBA G League", "Adelaide 36ers" / "Real Madrid" / "Besiktas J.K." vs "International"); insert_cards.csv rows carry tcdb's wording as the source printed it and base_cards.csv was not touched.
