- G-001 beckett.com/news returned HTTP 403 on https://www.beckett.com/news/2022-panini-prizm-draft-picks-basketball-cards/ and could not be used to cross-check set names, counts or the parallel ladder.
- G-002 Channel/SKU is unstated for 15 of the 33 base parallels (Green, Green Wave, Hyper, Venom, White Sparkle, Red /299, Blue Wave /249, Blue /199, Purple Ice /149, Blue Ice /99, Purple /75, Orange Pulsar /49, Mojo /25, Gold /10, Black Gold /5, Black 1/1). cardboardconnection and checklistcenter list them in one undifferentiated 'Prizms Parallels' block with no hobby/retail split, and no retailer page names them. Recorded as UNKNOWN rather than guessing the usual Prizm hobby/retail convention. [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 16 of 33 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 16 of 33 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 16 of 33 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 16 of 33 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 16 of 33 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 16 of 33 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 16 of 33 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 16 of 33 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 16 of 33 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 16 of 33 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 16 of 33 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 16 of 33 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 16 of 33 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 16 of 33 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 16 of 33 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 16 of 33 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 16 of 33 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 16 of 33 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 16 of 33 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 16 of 33 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 16 of 33 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 16 of 33 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: count is now 175 of 192 - the channel pass resolved -159 of these with cited evidence. - G-003 Nebula ambiguity: cardboardconnection and checklistcenter list 'Nebula 1/1' only under the Choice Prizms heading, while cardsmithsbreaks' separate Fast Break checklist lists 'Prizms Nebula Circles' and dacardworld's Fast Break/H2 page says 'H2 Exclusive Circle Parallel in Green, Pink, Purple and Nebula'. Recorded as two distinct rows (Choice Nebula, Nebula Circles); it is possible only one Nebula exists and one source is mis-filing it.
- G-004 The base-parallel lists on cardboardconnection.com and checklistcenter.com are character-for-character identical (same order, same print runs, same Choice grouping), so 'multi' source_confidence on those rows may reflect one upstream Panini sell sheet rather than two independent verifications.
- G-005 Green Pulsar #/25 recorded as blaster-exclusive on a single source (dacardworld blaster product page: 'Blaster Exclusive Green Pulsar Prizms'). Green Pulsar #/25 is also listed as a parallel of the Brilliance/Fireworks/Flashback/Instant Impact/Widescreen inserts, which are not blaster-only, so the exclusivity may apply to base only.
- G-006 'Draft Picks Auto Red Prizms' (37 cards) is single-source (checklistcenter.com only) and is very likely a Red Prizm parallel of the 77-card Draft Picks Autographs set rather than a distinct set. Card count 37 matches College Penmanship, which is also suspicious. Retained as an auto row but flagged.
- G-007 No mega box, cello/fat pack, hanger or Fanatics-exclusive SKU could be found for 2022-23 Prizm Draft Picks Basketball on dacardworld, steelcitycollectibles, Walmart or Target listings, although such SKUs exist for the 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2023-24 editions. Either they were not produced this season or they are simply undocumented online; the retail parallel picture may therefore be incomplete.
- G-008 Base Variation (42 cards) card count comes from cardsmithsbreaks.com and checklistcenter.com; cardboardconnection does not list it as a set at all. No card-level checklist for the 42 variations was published on any source consulted, so the variation-to-base-card mapping is unknown.
- G-009 No source shows RC / Rookie Card designations on this collegiate checklist (cardboardconnection explicitly lists names and schools only), so rookie_flag is UNKNOWN for all 100 base cards.
- G-010 tcdb.com could not be used: the set ID resolved to an unrelated Panini Chronicles page and no working 2022-23 Prizm Draft Picks set page was found. breakninja.com served only a partial parallel-index view and did not expose base cards 1-100. The base checklist therefore rests on two sources (cardboardconnection.com and cardsmithsbreaks.com), which agree card-for-card on all 100 rows including the out-of-alphabetical-order #27 Peyton Watson (independently corroborated by an eBay listing titled '2022-23 Prizm Draft Picks Peyton Watson Denver Nuggets #27').
- G-011 No numeric pull odds ('1:X packs', '1:X boxes') were published for any insert or autograph set in this release. Panini's blog and every retailer page give only per-box averages and qualitative language ('Super Short Print', 'Super Rare', 'Ultra-Rare'). Scarcity tiers in scarcity_sets.csv therefore rest on manufacturer wording, not stated odds.
- G-012 cardboardconnection lists the insert parallel ladder (Brilliance/Fireworks/Flashback/Instant Impact/Widescreen) as including a generic 'Circles' parallel, while the Fast Break checklist splits Circles into six named colours. Insert parallels are out of scope for parallels.csv, but this suggests the base Circles family may also be published under a single generic 'Circles' name on some sources.
- G-013 Per-set parallel-tier repair pass (2026-08-27, targeted): looked for insert/autograph colour parallel tiers for these non-base sets and found none to source -- Black Color Blast, Color Blast, Letter of Intent, Manga, National Pride, On Campus, Stained Glass, Draft Picks Auto Red Prizms. checklistcenter.com listed no Parallels line for these during the 2026-08-27 targeted parallel-tier repair pass. Rated Prospect was also checked and its Parallels line came back byte-identical to Base Variation's full base ladder despite Rated Prospect being an 8-card insert; rejected as a suspected page-render bleed (fabrication mode: template-fill / base-ladder bleed) rather than annotated -- see also G- row below.
- G-014 Per-set parallel-tier repair pass (2026-08-27, targeted): rejected the parallel-tier text returned for set 'Rated Prospect'. Its Parallels text was byte-identical or near-identical to a different set's full ladder (either the Base Variation/base-set ladder, or -- for the 2024-25 Obsidian Rookie Jersey Autographs row -- text matching the neighbouring Rookie Jersey Ink row, with a self-contradictory fetch first claiming it equalled the base ladder and then returning different text), consistent with the project's known 'template-fill / base-ladder bleed' fabrication mode. No note was written for 'Rated Prospect'; its own genuine parallel tier (if any) remains unsourced.
- G-015 'Base Variation' (42 cards) is the ONE set in this release for which no card-level checklist could be sourced, and the negative is now evidenced rather than merely unfound. (1) tcdb's insert listing for the parent, https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/335313/2022-Panini-Prizm-Draft-Picks , self-reports 'Insert Sets (194)' and contains no Variation entry of any kind. (2) The sid arithmetic reconciles EXACTLY at 194 with no room for one: the release's insert block is the contiguous run 353140-353311 (172 sids) plus College Penmanship and its 21 parallels at 352577-352599 (23 sids, of which 352580 is a foreign product - https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/352580/2022-Panini-Prizm-Draft-Picks returns '2000 Multi-Ad Midwest League Top Prospects (Unnumbered)', a baseball set), so 172 + 22 = 194. Both ends of the insert block were probed and bound: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/353312/2022-Panini-Prizm-Draft-Picks returns '2022 Topps Chrome Sonic - Black & White RayWave Refractor' (foreign product), and https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/353139/2022-Panini-Prizm-Draft-Picks returns '2022 Panini Prizm Draft Picks - White Sparkle', 'Total Cards: 100' - a 100-card BASE parallel, as is https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/353109/2022-Panini-Prizm-Draft-Picks ('Black Gold', 'Total Cards: 100'). (3) The 'set filed inside the parent past base_set_size' route is RULED OUT, not merely untried: the parent checklist https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/335313/2022-Panini-Prizm-Draft-Picks states 'Total Cards: 100', exactly equal to release.csv's base_set_size of 100, so there is no overshoot for a 42-card variation block to hide in. tcdb simply does not carry this subset. This supersedes nothing in G-008, which recorded the same absence from the aggregator side; the two together mean no consulted source publishes the 42-card variation-to-base-card mapping.
- G-016 TASK-2 AUDIT ANSWER (LEGACY_SOURCING_AUDIT.md section 4.3 open question), CLOSED AGAINST THE TWO UNTESTED SETS. The audit proved Manga and Color Blast wrong and said Black Color Blast and Stained Glass 'were not individually tested and should be presumed wrong pending a check'. They are wrong, in exactly the same two ways. BOTH SETS ARE LETTER-CODED, NOT PLAIN 1..15. (A) BLACK COLOR BLAST - printed prefix is BCB-. Full 15-code list as rendered by tcdb: BCB-CH Chet Holmgren (Gonzaga Bulldogs); BCB-DM Dillon Mitchell (Texas Longhorns); BCB-DW Dariq Whitehead (Duke Blue Devils); BCB-JA Ja Morant (Murray State Racers); BCB-JI Jaden Ivey (Purdue Boilermakers); BCB-JS Jabari Smith Jr. (Auburn Tigers); BCB-JT Jayson Tatum (Duke Blue Devils); BCB-KD Kevin Durant (Texas Longhorns); BCB-KG Keyonte George (Baylor Bears); BCB-KM Keegan Murray (Iowa Hawkeyes); BCB-PB Paolo Banchero (Duke Blue Devils); BCB-SC Stephen Curry (Davidson Wildcats); BCB-SH Shaquille O'Neal (LSU Tigers); BCB-SS Shaedon Sharpe (Kentucky Wildcats); BCB-TY Trae Young (Oklahoma Sooners). Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/353140/2022-Panini-Prizm-Draft-Picks-Black-Colorblast (page states 'Total Cards: 15' and renders exactly 15 rows). Independently corroborated on the prefix by sportscardinvestor.com, which prints 'Chet Holmgren 2022 Prizm Draft Picks #BCB-CH Black Color Blast /(SSP)' at https://www.sportscardinvestor.com/cards/chet-holmgren-basketball/2022-prizm-draft-picks-black-color-blast-bcb-ch and 'Jayson Tatum 2022 Prizm Draft Picks #BCB-JT Black Color Blast /(SSP)' at https://www.sportscardinvestor.com/sets/2022-prizm-draft-picks-basketball . ONE UNRESOLVED TOKEN CONFLICT INSIDE THIS SET: tcdb renders Shaquille O'Neal as BCB-SH, but sportscardinvestor renders him as #BCB-SO at https://www.sportscardinvestor.com/cards/shaquille-o-neal-basketball/2022-prizm-draft-picks-black-color-blast-bcb-so , and the sibling Color Blast set prints CB-SO for the same player. No marketplace seller title carrying either token was found for this card, so the Shaquille O'Neal row is the ONE code in this set that must not be written without a further check; the other 14 are settled. (B) STAINED GLASS - printed prefix is SG-. Full 15-code list as rendered by tcdb: SG-CH Chet Holmgren (Gonzaga Bulldogs); SG-DB Devin Booker (Kentucky Wildcats); SG-DW Dwyane Wade (Marquette Golden Eagles); SG-JE Joel Embiid (Kansas Jayhawks); SG-JI Jaden Ivey (Purdue Boilermakers); SG-JS Jabari Smith Jr. (Auburn Tigers); SG-JW Jerry West (West Virginia Mountaineers); SG-KL Kawhi Leonard (San Diego State Aztecs); SG-KM Keegan Murray (Iowa Hawkeyes); SG-LB Larry Bird (Indiana State Sycamores); SG-OA Ochai Agbaji (Kansas Jayhawks); SG-OR Oscar Robertson (Cincinnati Bearcats); SG-PB Paolo Banchero (Duke Blue Devils); SG-SC Stephen Curry (Davidson Wildcats); SG-TY Trae Young (Oklahoma Sooners). Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/353297/2022-Panini-Prizm-Draft-Picks-Stained-Glass (page states 'Total Cards: 15' and renders exactly 15 rows). MARKETPLACE-CONFIRMED, which is the grade the audit could not reach for Color Blast: a goldin.co lot page is titled verbatim '2022-23 Panini Prizm Draft Picks Stained Glass #SG-PB Paolo Banchero Rookie Card - PSA MINT 9' at https://goldin.co/item/2022-23-panini-prizm-draft-picks-stained-glass-sg-pb-paolo-banchero-roggccj - the page carries none of the tcdb flag strings '(AU, RC)', '(MEM, RC)', '(VAR)', so it is a genuine seller/lot transcription rather than aggregator-seeded. Further corroborated by sportscardinvestor.com, which prints #SG-DW, #SG-SC, #SG-CH, #SG-KL, #SG-PB, #SG-LB and #SG-JW at https://www.sportscardinvestor.com/sets/2022-prizm-draft-picks-basketball . (C) THE ORDERING IS ALSO WRONG ON BOTH SETS - THE SAME SECOND FAILURE THE AUDIT FOUND ON MANGA, CONFIRMED HERE EXPLICITLY. In both sets our stored roster is the SAME 15 PLAYERS as tcdb, but in a completely different order, so no arithmetic maps our ordinal to a code. Our Black Color Blast runs 1=Jaden Ivey, 2=Chet Holmgren, 3=Jabari Smith Jr., 4=Paolo Banchero, 5=Keegan Murray ... 15=Keyonte George; tcdb's printed sequence (alphabetical by code) begins Holmgren, Dillon Mitchell, Whitehead, Morant, Ivey. Our Stained Glass runs 1=Trae Young, 2=Joel Embiid, 3=Chet Holmgren, 4=Jabari Smith Jr., 5=Paolo Banchero ... 15=Kawhi Leonard; tcdb's printed sequence begins Holmgren, Booker, Wade, Embiid, Ivey. The aggregators (cardboardconnection.com and cardsmithsbreaks.com, the two named in the legacy note) imposed their own display ordering and then numbered THAT - identical mechanism, identical blast radius. Every one of the 30 rows must be re-sourced individually; a prefix-prepend repair would be wrong. (D) SCOPE OF THE REPAIR THIS ROW ENABLES: all 60 class C rows in this release are now proven or evidenced wrong - Manga (15, audit 4.1), Color Blast (15, audit 4.2), Black Color Blast (15, this row), Stained Glass (15, this row). AS INSTRUCTED, NO ROW WAS EDITED AND NO CORRECTED DUPLICATE WAS APPENDED: the 60 legacy rows are byte-identical to before this pass. The repair is a separate human decision and this row carries everything needed to execute it without redoing the research.
- G-019 CONTRADICTION against our own sets.csv note, found and not acted on (sets.csv is out of scope for this pass). The 'Rated Prospect' row in sets.csv carries the note 'Card numbering is NON-contiguous (cardboardconnection shows 1,2,3,6,7,9,11,20)'. That is aggregator renumbering, not printed numbering: tcdb renders this 8-card set as three-letter letter codes - RP-CLO, RP-CWA, RP-DMI, RP-DWH, RP-JOW, RP-KEY, RP-KWA, RP-ZED - at https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/353246/2022-Panini-Prizm-Draft-Picks-Rated-Prospect ('Total Cards: 8', 8 rows rendered). The 8 coded rows were written to insert_cards.csv. The sets.csv note should be appended with a dated correction marker by whoever owns that file; the non-contiguous 1,2,3,6,7,9,11,20 run is a good illustration of the spec's warning that holes in a sequence prove nothing - it looks like a genuine printed run with gaps and is not one.
- G-020 RESOLVES gap G-006 IN THE AFFIRMATIVE with rendered evidence. G-006 recorded that 'Draft Picks Auto Red Prizms' (37 cards) was single-source (checklistcenter.com only) and was 'very likely a Red Prizm parallel of the 77-card Draft Picks Autographs set rather than a distinct set'. tcdb confirms exactly that: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/353174/2022-Panini-Prizm-Draft-Picks-Draft-Picks-Autographs-Prizms-Red is headed '2022 Panini Prizm Draft Picks - Draft Picks Autographs Prizms Red', states 'Total Cards: 37', renders 37 rows, and flags every row 'AU, SN199' (serial-numbered /199). All 37 of its card numbers carry the DP- prefix of Draft Picks Autographs and every one is a member of that set's 77 codes - it is a 37-of-77 colour parallel, not a distinct checklist. G-006's secondary suspicion (that 37 matching College Penmanship's 37 was itself suspicious) is a coincidence: College Penmanship is a genuinely separate CP- coded set with its own sid at 352577. ACTION TAKEN: the 37 rows were written to insert_cards.csv under the sets.csv name 'Draft Picks Auto Red Prizms' byte for byte, so the checklist is not lost, and every row's notes carry this finding. ACTION NOT TAKEN: sets.csv was not edited and the row was not reclassified or deleted - that is a human decision. If it is reclassified as a parallel, the 37 insert_cards rows should be removed with it.
- G-021 SOURCE-BEHAVIOUR FINDING for this release, contradicting nothing in the spec but confirming its warning on live data here. eBay /itm/ pages for 2022-23 Prizm Draft Picks are heavily tcdb-seeded and the search snippet does NOT match the page. Worked example: a search snippet read '2022-23 Prizm Draft Picks Payton Willis Auto Purple Ice /99 #DP-PWI' (clean seller free-text shape), but the page itself at https://www.ebay.com/itm/166045061863 is titled '2022-23 Panini Prizm Draft Picks - Draft Picks Autographs Payton Willis #DP-PWI Purple Ice Prizm /99 (AU, RC)' - eBay catalogue title shape carrying tcdb's '(AU, RC)' flag string verbatim. It agrees with tcdb on DP-PWI and was therefore REJECTED as corroboration: it is circular, not independent. A second page, https://www.ebay.com/itm/226371949475 , titled '2022 Panini Prizm Draft Picks #CP-KMU Kris Murray College Penmanship Green', matches its snippet exactly and reads as genuine seller free text, but '(AU, RC)' appears elsewhere on the page in a related-search module - the weaker of the two contamination shapes the spec documents - so it is cited only as supporting, never as decisive. The ONE clean marketplace source found for this release was goldin.co (see the Task 2 gap row), which carried no flag string anywhere. CONSEQUENCE: for this release, treat eBay as roster-and-prefix support at best and get the decisive marketplace evidence from goldin.co, comc.com or an independent retailer instead.
- G-022 RUN SUMMARY - insert/autograph checklist fill pass, 2026-09-11, per CHASE_CHECKLIST_SPEC.md. 14 previously unstarted sets were assigned (384 cards). 13 of 14 were resolved COMPLETE and reconcile exactly against sets.csv card_count: Draft Picks Autographs 77/77, College Penmanship 37/37, Draft Picks Auto Red Prizms 37/37, Sensational Signatures 34/34, Freshman Signatures 9/9, Brilliance 20/20, Fireworks 20/20, Flashback 20/20, Instant Impact 20/20, Widescreen 20/20, On Campus 15/15, National Pride 15/15, Letter of Intent 10/10, Rated Prospect 8/8. 342 rows written; 0 rows withheld; 0 rows derived. 1 of 14 abstained: Base Variation (42) - no source exists, see the Base Variation gap row for the evidenced negative. Resolution: 342 of 384 = 89.1%. NUMBERING SCHEME: every one of the 13 resolved sets is LETTER-CODED (XX-<initials>), none is plain 1..N - prefixes BR-, FW-, FB-, II-, WS-, OC-, NP-, INT-, RP-, SS-, CP-, FS-, DP-. This is the whole-release confirmation of the audit's finding that 2022-23 is the 'coded' season in the coded -> plain -> coded -> plain -> plain run across five Prizm Draft Picks seasons. FABRICATION CHECKS RUN (all four, plus the scheme check): copy check - no written set mirrors base_cards.csv's 1..100 run or its player order; temporal - every player is a 2022 draft-class member, a 2023 incoming freshman (Rated Prospect, Freshman Signatures, Letter of Intent) or a retired player pictured in college uniform, all valid for a 2022-23 collegiate NIL product; uniformity - rosters, sizes and code lengths vary across sets (two-letter suffixes on inserts, three-letter on autographs), no template shape; narrow verbatim re-fetch - Widescreen re-fetched through a second endpoint, https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/353298/2022-Panini-Prizm-Draft-Picks-Widescreen , returning 20 rows identical to the ViewSet read including the WS-JH duplicate. GENUINE DUPLICATE CODES WRITTEN AND FLAGGED (real initials collisions, both players written per the unique(set_id, card_number, player_name) key): WS-JH = Jaden Hardy and James Harden; OC-TY = Trae Young and TyTy Washington Jr.; FW-JS and II-JS = Jabari Smith Jr. and Jeremy Sochan; DP-BMA = Bennedict Mathurin and Brady Manek. None is a four-or-more smear and each suffix fits its player's initials independently. team_or_school was filled for every written set from the same page that supplied the card number, whole-set, never mixed. For National Pride it carries the NATION, which is what that page's team column renders. No NBA team was written anywhere: this is a collegiate/NIL product and every value is a college, an international club (Mega Mozzart, Adelaide 36ers, New Zealand Breakers, Team Overtime) or NBA G League Ignite, as printed. ENDPOINT BEHAVIOUR worth carrying forward: ViewSet.cfm rendered complete checklists with card number, player AND school in one fetch for every set up to 37 rows and for the 34-row Sensational Signatures; it TRUNCATED at 60 rows on the 75-row Draft Picks Autographs base page while still printing the correct 'Total Cards', exactly the silent-truncation shape the spec warns about - the rendered-rows-vs-Total-Cards comparison caught it, and Gallery.cfm?PageIndex=N finished the job. Inserts.cfm truncated at 164 of its self-reported 194 entries; the missing tail was recovered by sid arithmetic and confirmed by direct ViewSet probes rather than by slug retry. FILES TOUCHED: insert_cards.csv (append only, 342 rows) and gaps.csv (append only). The 60 pre-existing insert_cards.csv rows are byte-identical to before this pass; sets.csv, parallels.csv, base_cards.csv, release.csv, id_registry.csv and slug_aliases.csv were not opened for writing. All ids left empty for mint_ids.py.
