  • G-001 BASE CHECKLIST IDENTITY TEST against the parent product, run because section 5.2 of the extraction spec and the task brief both required it. The base checklist of this release is NOT shared with prizm-bkb-2018-19. Positional diff on (card_number, player_name) across this release's 100 rows against that release's 300 rows: 1 match out of 100, and that single match is card 83 Pascal Siakam, which is a coincidence of two unrelated orderings rather than a shared slot. Player-name overlap ignoring card number is 96 of 100 as literal strings and 97 of 100 once the spelling variant noted in another gap row is allowed for, which is what a 100-player star subset of a 300-player checklist looks like and is not evidence of a shared checklist. Three players in this release are absent from the prizm-bkb-2018-19 checklist entirely: Caris LeVert, Montrezl Harrell and Vince Carter. Conclusion: no base-card identity collision exists between these two releases, so nothing here undercuts filing Prizm Mosaic as its own line. • G-002 STRUCTURAL DIVERGENCE from the parent product, measured because the task brief asked whether Prizm Mosaic shares 2018-19 Prizm's structure. It does not, in two respects. First, ordering: this 100-card run is alphabetical by FIRST name, Aaron Gordon at 1 through Zhaire Smith at 100, while prizm-bkb-2018-19's 300-card run is not alphabetical at all (its cards 1-10 are Brandon Knight, Dirk Nowitzki, Rudy Gay, De'Anthony Melton, Charles Barkley, LeBron James, Ersan Ilyasova, Jeremy Lin, Hamidou Diallo, Tony Parker). Second, retired legends: prizm-bkb-2018-19 interleaves 30 retired legends at every card number congruent to 5 modulo 10, and ZERO of those 30 players appears anywhere in this release's base checklist. There is no legend interleave here and no legend block. Rookies: 22 of the 100 rows carry a tcdb RC designation and they fall wherever the alphabetical ordering puts them, so they are scattered rather than blocked; all 22 are also flagged RC in prizm-bkb-2018-19, so this is a subset of that season's 53 rookies and introduces none of its own. • G-003 COMPARISON AGAINST THE OTHER MOSAIC LINE, bearing on the separate-line brand decision. Positional diff on (card_number, player_name) against mosaic-bkb-2019-20's 300-row base checklist: 0 matches out of 100. Player-name overlap ignoring card number is 85 of 100. That release's cards 1-10 are Kevin Durant, Evan Fournier, Mason Plumlee, Jabari Parker, Damian Lillard, Bryn Forbes, Aaron Holiday, LeBron James, Fred VanVleet, De'Aaron Fox, which is not alphabetical and is a 300-card run with named tiers, against this release's alphabetical 100-card run with no tiers. Nothing in the checklist data undercuts the human's separate-line reading; equally, nothing in it positively PROVES a separate line either, since a one-season 100-card online exclusive and a 300-card mass-market product would differ this way whether they were one line or two. Recorded so the decision rests on a measurement rather than an assumption.
  • G-004 SPEC AND BRIEF DEFECT, measured. The task brief and extraction spec section 3.2 both record that tcdb's Inserts.cfm renders a per-set Notes column carrying the print run, measured on the prizm-bkb-2018-19 parent, and that a BLANK annotation there is a positive discriminative signal for unnumbered. On THIS parent there is no Notes column at all. Two fetches under varied URLs, https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/204836/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm and the same URL with ?x=1, each returned for all twelve rows only the set name plus an "N% of images added" completion statistic, and the second fetch, asked directly, stated that no text anywhere on the page contains "Serial numbered to" or any print-run statement. The spec already warns that truncation on this page is parent-dependent; what is NOT recorded is that the PRESENCE OF THE NOTES COLUMN ITSELF is parent-dependent. The practical consequence is sharper than a lost shortcut: where the column is absent, blankness carries zero information, so the blank-annotation test cannot be run at all and must not be reported as having been run and passed. This build fell back to two aggregators plus within-parent serial-token probes instead.
  • G-005 Print runs for the five numbered base tiers rest on two aggregators, cardboardconnection and checklistcenter, which may be ONE opinion. They agree 8 of 8 on tier names and 5 of 5 on figures, and their wording differs (comma-separated versus semicolon-separated), but the extraction spec records that several aggregators copy each other and Beckett, the usual third structural source, is unreachable. What makes the figures usable rather than merely agreed is the calibration: cardboardconnection was tested on two questions that could be checked inside tcdb and passed both - "Orange #/99" against the literal token SN99 on every enumerated row of https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/204840/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm-Orange, and Autographs "Gold (#/10)" against the literal token SN10 on every enumerated row of https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/204847/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm-Autographs-Gold. Purple 49, Camo 25, base Gold 10 and base Black 1 were not themselves token-checked. • G-006 Base-set scope confirmed by direct probe for only 5 of the 8 base parallels. Blue, Green, Red, Orange and Camo each render "Total Cards: 100", matching the base run exactly. Purple sid 204841, Gold sid 204843 and Black sid 204844 were not fetched, and their base-set scope rests on their placement under the parent's Parallel Sets heading on https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/204836/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm together with cardboardconnection and checklistcenter listing the same eight names as base parallels. The extraction spec warns that a section header's count is not a scope guarantee and that a tier filed under Parallel Sets can turn out to be block-scoped; here that specific failure is not possible, because the release has no numbered block past 100 - see the gap row on that. Probes: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/204837/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm-Blue ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/204838/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm-Green ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/204839/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm-Red ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/204840/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm-Orange ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/204842/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm-Camo
  • G-007 Autographs Green #/5 and Autographs Black 1/1 are SINGLE-SOURCED to cardboardconnection: "These include Gold (#/10), Green (#/5) and Black (1/1) parallels." Neither sid was probed for a serial token. checklistcenter lists only the base set and the Autographs set and states no autograph parallel print runs, and tcdb's Inserts.cfm carries no Notes column on this parent. The sibling tier Autographs Gold was probed and its stated #/10 matched the literal token SN10, which is why the source is trusted here, but these two figures are one source deep. Sources: https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2018-19-panini-prizm-mosaic-basketball-cards ; https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/204836/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm
  • G-008 CHANNEL AXIS CONFLICT. Every parallel row carries channel=panini-direct with channel_basis=sourced-exclusive, derived from a product-scope exclusivity statement carried by three independent sources: cardboardconnection "the limited-edition set is only issued through Panini's online store" (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2018-19-panini-prizm-mosaic-basketball-cards), checklistcenter "a small, online exclusive release. Available through Panini's website" (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2018-19-panini-prizm-mosaic-basketball-card-checklist/), and dacardworld "direct-to-consumer package and a limited print run" (https://www.dacardworld.com/sports-cards/2018-19-panini-prizm-mosaic-basketball-hobby-box). The statement is about the whole product, so unlike a product-level hobby note it genuinely covers every tier. What the column CANNOT carry is the box axis: cardboardconnection states "10 cards per pack, 3 packs per box, 12 boxes per case" and "The 30-card boxes are priced at $100 each", and both dacardworld and steelcitycollectibles title the product a "Hobby Box" and a "Hobby 12-Box Case". A hobby-configuration box distributed direct-to-consumer is two orthogonal facts and the enum holds one value. channel_sku was left EMPTY rather than filled with "Hobby", because hobby is a trade-channel value in channel_taxonomy.csv and not a box SKU, and writing it into the SKU column is the exact conflation that file exists to prevent.
  • G-009 RELEASE DATE CONTESTED. Written as 2019-05-29 on two independent structural sources, neither of which labels it an estimate: tcdb renders "Release Date: May 29, 2019" (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/204836/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm) and cardboardconnection renders "May 29, 2019" (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2018-19-panini-prizm-mosaic-basketball-cards). The retailer dacardworld states "May 1st, 2019" for the same box (https://www.dacardworld.com/sports-cards/2018-19-panini-prizm-mosaic-basketball-hobby-box). Two against one, and the two are the structural sources, so 2019-05-29 was written; the disagreement is recorded rather than smoothed over. No source was found that reconciles them, and a retailer listing date can be an order-open date rather than a release date, which would explain it but is not evidenced.
  • G-010 base_print_run=unnumbered carries base_print_run_basis=assumed, not sourced. No source states in words that the base cards are unnumbered. The evidence is a positive discriminative test and remains indirect: the tcdb renderer prints the literal token SN99 on every enumerated row of https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/204840/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm-Orange and SN10 on every enumerated row of https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/204847/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm-Autographs-Gold, and prints no serial token on any of the 100 base rows across https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/204836/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm?PageIndex=1, https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/204836/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm?PageIndex=1&sort=0, https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/204836/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm?PageIndex=8, https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/204836/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm?PageIndex=9 and https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/204836/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm?PageIndex=10. Separately, dacardworld's phrase "a limited print run" is about the size of the production run of the product, not a serial number on a card, and is recorded here so that it is not later promoted into base_print_run. A ceiling or a vague scarcity claim is not a print run.
  • G-011 Section 5.3 had nothing to exclude, and the check is recorded so that its absence is evidenced rather than assumed. The parent states "Total Cards: 100"; https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/204836/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm?PageIndex=10 ends at card 100 Zhaire Smith; https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/204836/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm?PageIndex=11 renders no card tiles at all and its pagination control shows pages 1 through 10 only. There is no autograph or memorabilia block numbered past the base run in the parent checklist, so base_set_size=100 is the whole parent checklist and the include-versus-exclude convention divergence recorded in the extraction spec between contenders-bkb-2019-20 and contendersoptic-bkb-2019-20 is not engaged by this release.
  • G-012 ORDERING ANOMALY, unresolved. The base checklist is alphabetical by first name throughout except at card 40, which renders "Allonzo Trier" sitting between 39 Jayson Tatum and 41 Jimmy Butler, where the ordering predicts a first name beginning Je or Ji. Three independent renderings agree on the row - the Green parallel sid https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/204838/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm-Green, the Red parallel sid https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/204839/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm-Red and the parent checklist https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/204836/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm?PageIndex=1 - and the parent additionally flags it RC, so this is what tcdb holds and not a single-fetch artefact. What is NOT established is whether the printed card is genuinely Allonzo Trier at slot 40 or whether tcdb carries a data error at that row; no second site was found that renders card numbers for this set (checklistcenter renders player names without reliable numbering for the middle of the run). The value was written as rendered and not repaired.
  • G-013 PLAYER-NAME SPELLING DIVERGENCE against a sibling release. Card 11 is written "CJ McCollum", which is what tcdb renders for this release. prizm-bkb-2018-19 card 91 carries the same player as "C.J. McCollum". Names are what sources print and were not normalized in either direction, but the two releases are not joinable on player_name without an alias for this player, and a naive roster-overlap count between them under-reports by one. Source: https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/204836/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm?PageIndex=1
  • G-014 rookie_flag rests on a SINGLE structural source. 22 of the 100 base rows carry a tcdb RC designation and 78 do not; no second source was consulted for rookie status on this release. The 78 no values are written rather than UNKNOWN because the same renderer marks RC on sibling rows of the same page, which is a positive discriminative test, but the whole column is one source deep. Note also that the parallel subset sids render NO RC token on any row, including rows that the parent flags RC, so the flag is a property of the parent rendering only and a probe run against a parallel sid would wrongly conclude the set has no rookies. Sources: https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/204836/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm?PageIndex=1 ; https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/204836/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm?PageIndex=1&sort=0 ; https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/204836/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm?PageIndex=8 ; https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/204836/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm?PageIndex=9 ; https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/204836/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm?PageIndex=10
  • G-015 Base checklist assembled from two endpoints with a measured delivery truncation, so the joins matter. Checklist.cfm?PageIndex=1 delivered through row 71 of 100 on both of two differently parameterised fetches, which is exactly the floor of 71 the extraction spec records; the tails came from Gallery.cfm pages 8, 9 and 10, each of which returned all 10 tiles. Cards 1-40 and 41-71 came from the two Checklist fetches, cards 72-80 from Gallery page 8, 81-90 from page 9 and 91-100 from page 10. Cross-endpoint overlap is thin: only row 71, Marvin Bagley III with an RC flag, was rendered by both endpoints, and it agrees. Wider independent corroboration comes from the parallel subset sids, which rendered rows 1-35 (Blue), 36-70 (Green) and 71-83 (Red) with number, player and team and agree with the parent on every one of those rows, and from checklistcenter, whose first five and last five base entries match cards 1-5 and 96-100. Rows 84-95 rest on the Gallery rendering alone plus checklistcenter's partial agreement at 96-100.
  • G-016 The product has NO non-autograph insert set, and the absence is evidenced rather than unresearched. cardboardconnection's product page carries no insert-set section at all, and the four rows tcdb files under its "Insert Sets (4)" heading on https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/204836/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm are the Autographs set, sid 204845, plus its three colour parallels Autographs Black 204846, Autographs Gold 204847 and Autographs Green 204848. checklistcenter lists exactly two sections for the whole product, "2018-19 Prizm Mosaic - Base Set" and "2018-19 Prizm Mosaic - Autographs Set". Three sources therefore agree the product is base plus one autograph set, which is why sets.csv has only two rows.
  • G-017 FILING DIVERGENCE against tcdb's own categorisation. tcdb lists Autographs Black, Autographs Gold and Autographs Green under its "Insert Sets" heading rather than under "Parallel Sets", so read literally tcdb calls them four separate insert sets. They are written here as three set-scope rows in parallels.csv with scope=Autographs, following the convention of the parent build prizm-bkb-2018-19, which files every autograph colour tier as a set-scope parallel of its Signatures sets rather than as its own sets.csv row. The divergence is recorded because a consumer counting sets from tcdb will get 5 for this product and 2 from this release. Note that mosaic-bkb-2019-20 went the OTHER way and carries rows such as "Autographs Mosaic Choice Fusion Red" as sets.csv auto rows, so the catalogue is not internally consistent on this question across the two Mosaic-named lines. Source: https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/204836/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm
  • G-018 BRAND IDENTITY, recorded because the check is required and because this release is the first under a newly minted brand. product_name was written byte-identically from reference/brands.csv, which carries line_prefix prizmmosaic to "Panini Prizm Mosaic Basketball", and the value was asserted against that file in code at build time; brands.csv was not modified. The naming split the 2018-19 scope memo recorded is reproduced exactly by this build's own fetches: cardboardconnection's H1 is "2018-19 Panini Prizm Mosaic Basketball Cards" and checklistcenter's is "2018-19 Panini Prizm Mosaic - Basketball Card Checklist", both Prizm-first, while every tcdb page in this release renders the product Prizm-last, for example the parent title "2018-19 Panini Mosaic Prizm" and the canonical slug 2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm. Note that tcdb PREPENDS Panini here, which it does not do for the 2018-19 Prizm parent, so the tcdb string is not simply the Prizm-first name reversed. Structurally tcdb supports the separate-product reading whatever it calls it: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewAll.cfm/sp/Basketball/year/2018 lists "2018-19 Panini Mosaic Prizm" sid 204836 and "2018-19 Panini Prizm" sid 188541 as two entries on the season index, and 204836 carries its own parallel and autograph sids. This release is distinct from the mosaic line's own product_name "Panini Mosaic Basketball", which brands.csv carries separately.
  • G-019 No source found states a licensing grantor for this product. license_status=licensed (NBA), licensed=yes and league=NBA are written to match the catalogue-wide value and are supported only by the product being an NBA-team, NBA-player checklist of 100 players on NBA franchises. This is the same absence recorded catalogue-wide, not a gap specific to this release. Sources: https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/204836/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm?PageIndex=1 ; https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2018-19-panini-prizm-mosaic-basketball-cards
  • G-020 Beckett was unreachable for this release, making it the seventh consecutive pass on which that has been recorded. https://www.beckett.com/news/2018-19-panini-prizm-mosaic-basketball-cards/ returns HTTP 302 to a maintenance page at beckett-maintenance-page.s3.amazonaws.com. The page exists and is indexed by web search, so it is a live source that this environment cannot read, not a missing one. Its absence matters more here than usual: the scope memo counted Beckett as one of the four sources supporting the Prizm Mosaic name ordering, and this build could not re-verify that vote itself.
  • G-021 Card counts for the three Autographs-scope parallel tiers were not sourced, because sets.csv has no row for them and parallels.csv has no card_count column. Autographs Gold was incidentally observed to state "Total Cards: 31", matching the parent Autographs set; Autographs Green and Autographs Black were not fetched. Recorded so that a later pass does not read the silence as a finding that the tiers are partial. Source: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/204847/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm-Autographs-Gold
  • G-022 The Autographs set's 31 card codes were NOT enumerated by this build. Only the first ten rows were read, running MO-AD through MO-GRA, which establishes the "MO-" prefix and that the codes are alphabetical by player initial rather than numeric. Note the code MO-GRA for Grayson Allen: a three-letter suffix sitting among two-letter ones, which is a disambiguation and not a typo, and the extraction spec's rule against normalizing an alphanumeric code applies to it. Card-level enumeration of this set belongs to the separate chase-checklist pass. Source: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/204845/2018-19-Panini-Mosaic-Prizm-Autographs
  • G-023 SUSPICIOUS-UNIFORMITY CHECK, fired and then DISMISSED by calibration against our own data - recorded because the signal looks like brand evidence and is not. This release's numbered base ladder is exactly 99 / 49 / 25 / 10 / 1, which is the same numeric ladder the mosaic line carries at the same five positions in 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22, and with two of the five tier NAMES identical as well (Purple at 49, Gold at 10, Black at 1; this release has Orange at 99 and Camo at 25 where the mosaic line has Blue and White). Read naively that is continuity between Prizm Mosaic and Mosaic and would cut against the separate-line decision. It is not evidence. Measured against the repo: 65 of the 167 releases carrying a parallels.csv hold all five of 99, 49, 25, 10 and 1 in base scope, across at least fifteen different lines, so the shape is the generic Panini minimal ladder rather than a Mosaic fingerprint. Only three releases carry it as their COMPLETE ladder - contendersoptic-bkb-2020-21, crownroyale-bkb-2019-20 and this one - and those are three unrelated lines, which is the same point again. For contrast the parent prizm-bkb-2018-19 carries 19 distinct print runs from 299 down to 1 and mosaic-bkb-2019-20 carries 13, so this release matches neither line's ladder DEPTH; it is simply a small product with a short ladder. Conclusion: the ladder says nothing about line identity in either direction and must not be cited as if it did.
  • G-024 FABRICATION-CHECK REGISTER for this build, recorded so a later pass can see which checks were run rather than assumed. Narrow re-fetch: every load-bearing ask was shaped as an enumerated per-row request rather than a verbatim-reproduction request, per the extraction spec, and no ask was refused. Gallery page 9 was re-fetched under a varied URL ending &sort=0 to bust the 15-minute per-URL error cache and returned the identical 10 tiles, which is the spec's remedy for a count that agrees with itself only because it is a cache hit. Copy check: run against prizm-bkb-2018-19 and mosaic-bkb-2019-20 and reported in its own gap row; also run within this release, where the Autographs set is not the base run renamed - 31 rows against 100, letter codes MO-AD style against integers, and a different roster. Temporal impossibility: all 100 base players are plausible 2018-19 NBA players, including the four veterans in their final or near-final seasons (Dirk Nowitzki, Dwyane Wade, Vince Carter, Pau Gasol with Milwaukee), and the only retired player anywhere in the product is Charles Barkley, who appears in the Autographs set and not in the base run. Set-name cross-check: both set names are corroborated by a second site, checklistcenter rendering "2018-19 Prizm Mosaic - Base Set" and "2018-19 Prizm Mosaic - Autographs Set". Source calibration: run twice and passed twice, described in the print-run gap row. Sid provenance: all twelve sids used here were read off the parent's Inserts.cfm listing, not extrapolated across a numeric range, so the spec's requirement to prove both boundaries of an enumerated sid range is not engaged by this build - no range was walked.
