- G-001 gogts.net states release date as "October 27, 2020" (same day/month, wrong year). Five independent sources (tcdb.com, checklistcenter.com, blog.paniniamerica.net 'First Look' post, blog.paniniamerica.net QC Gallery post, steelcitycollectibles.com, dacardworld.com) all state 2021-10-27. Treated gogts.net's year as an error; used 2021-10-27.
- G-002 An AI-summarizing fetch of tcdb's paginated checklist (page 2) returned a fabricated entry for card #200 ("Scottie Barnes, Toronto Raptors") -- Barnes was not drafted until July 2021 and only appears in 2021-22 Panini Recon, confirmed via search. The real card #200 (Kevin Love, Cleveland Cavaliers) was confirmed via an independent eBay listing titled "2020-21 Panini Recon Basketball Kevin Love #200 Cleveland Cavaliers" and matches checklistcenter.com. Because tcdb's tail-end summary output proved unreliable, cards 71-100 and 179-200 (72 of 200 base cards) rely on checklistcenter.com as the sole verified source; tcdb's version of that range was discarded. One card in this range (#184 Skylar Mays) was independently spot-checked and confirmed via an eBay listing ("2020-21 Panini Recon Holo Gold /10 Skylar Mays #184 Rookie RC").
- G-003 Team conflict for card #178 (Al Horford): an unreliable tcdb AI-summary fetch said Boston Celtics; checklistcenter.com said Oklahoma City Thunder. Horford was traded to and played for OKC during the actual 2020-21 NBA season, so Oklahoma City Thunder (checklistcenter.com) was used.
- G-004 rookie_flag left UNKNOWN for cards 71-100 and 179-200 (62 cards) because no reliable source with explicit RC designation covers that range: tcdb's RC-tagged checklist view for that span was the same batch found unreliable (see G-002), and checklistcenter.com's listing format does not display RC tags at all (confirmed by direct query -- it shows no RC markers anywhere on the page, including for cards known to be rookies), so its silence is not an explicit non-rookie signal either.
- G-005 Card count conflict: checklistcenter.com lists 53 cards; tcdb's own checklist page for Recon Signatures Blue explicitly states "Total Cards: 54". Used 54 (more direct, page-stated figure).
- G-006 Card count of 58 is corroborated loosely: checklistcenter.com lists "Glorified Signatures Red" at 58 cards, sportscardchecklist.com hedges "57-58". No source gave a single unambiguous total for the un-colored base checklist of this auto set.
- G-007 Card count of 38 per checklistcenter.com; sportscardchecklist.com hedges "37-38". Not fully resolved to a single confirmed integer.
- G-008 checklistcenter.com lists these as two distinct 2-card sets (4 cards total). sportscardchecklist.com describes them in one combined line ("Rookie Private Signings - 2 Cards (Association & Icon versions...)") which could be read as 2 cards total split across both versions rather than 2 cards each. Used checklistcenter.com's per-set counts (2 each) as the more explicit statement.
- G-009 No numeric print-run source beyond the /25 serial number and the existence of a distinct 'Recon Basketball Hobby Box - 1st Off The Line' hobby SKU (confirmed for sale at Steel City Collectibles) ties this parallel specifically to the FOTL box product; no source gives box-level allocation odds.
- G-010 No published numeric pull-rate odds were found anywhere for 2020-21 Panini Recon Basketball (checked blog.paniniamerica.net, cardboardconnection.com, checklistcenter.com, steelcitycollectibles.com, dacardworld.com, waxstat.com, cardsmithsbreaks.com). Panini does not publish numeric odds for basketball products; only box-average guarantees ("2 autographs, 10 base parallels, 10 inserts or insert parallels per box on average") were found, and per spec these are not tiered as odds.
- G-011 Card count unresolved and sets.csv's 54 is supported by NO page actually read. Six tcdb pages for this set render six different totals, each matching its own rendered rows: base 53 (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/287647/Panini-Recon-Recon-Signatures-2020-21-Basketball-Cards), Blue 54 (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/287649/2020-21-Panini-Recon---Recon-Signatures-Blue), Red 54 (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/287648/2020-21-Panini-Recon---Recon-Signatures-Red), Gold 54 (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/287650/Panini-Recon-Recon-Signatures-Gold-2020-21-Basketball), Green 56 (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/287651/2020-21-Panini-Recon---Recon-Signatures-Green), Platinum 57 (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/287652/Panini-Recon-Recon-Signatures-Platinum-2020-21-Basketball-Cards). The tiers are not nested: the base page holds RS-MTZ (Montrezl Harrell) which Blue and Red lack, while Blue/Red/Gold hold RS-RJB (RJ Barrett) which the base page lacks. 57 rows were written, being the union of all six pages. FOUR CONTESTED PLAYERS, all written: RJ Barrett (RS-RJB), Tobias Harris (RS-TBH), Talen Horton-Tucker (RS-THT) and Delon Wright (RS-DWR) are ABSENT from tcdb's base page, and two sources independent of tcdb -- cardboardconnection (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-21-panini-recon-basketball-cards) and breakninja (https://www.breakninja.com/basketball/20-21-Panini-Recon-Basketball-Checklist-For-Card-Set-Recon-Signatures.php?page_no=1) -- both list exactly the 53 players of the base page and omit all four. They were written anyway because every code is printed verbatim on a tcdb page for this exact set and player (no number here is derived), and because the same base-short/parallel-complete shape resolved in favour of the deeper tier twice elsewhere in this release against independent counts (Glorified Signatures 58, Rookie Recon Signatures 38). A reviewer wanting the conservative set has the 53-card intersection. sets.csv's 54 matches no source read here and appears to have been taken from the Blue page header alone (see G-005), so it is not independent of tcdb.
- G-012 Five of the eight plain 1..N insert sets carry NO marketplace seller title naming a player at a specific number, so their print ORDER rests on two catalogues rather than on a card in hand: Rookie Review (25), Scouting Reports (30), Future Legends (25), Maneuvers (25) and Sky's the Limit (10). For each, tcdb and cardboardconnection agree number-for-number, player-for-player and in the same order, and cardboardconnection is demonstrably independent of tcdb (it renders this release's coded autograph sets in Panini's internal sequence with holes, ordered quite unlike tcdb's alphabetical-by-suffix). Order WAS validated by a marketplace title for the other three: Rookie Recon (#40 Anthony Edwards, Pristine Auction), Eyes on the Prize (#20 Dennis Rodman, sportscards.co.nz) and Rock the Rim (#25 Blake Griffin, eBay seller listing) -- in each case the confirmed card is the LAST of the set, which is what rules out a 1..N renumbering. A single eBay search snippet for Sky's the Limit (Luka Doncic #1) was found but its /itm/ page 404s, so it was not used.
- G-013 Delon Wright (RS-DWR) rests on a SINGLE tcdb page: the Recon Signatures Platinum checklist (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/287652/Panini-Recon-Recon-Signatures-Platinum-2020-21-Basketball-Cards), which renders 57 rows. He is absent from the base page and from the Blue, Red, Gold and Green tiers, and from both independent aggregators. Logged per spec as a card resting on one page.
- G-014 Two cards rest on a single tcdb page each. GS-CMJ (Cameron Johnson) appears on the Glorified Signatures Green page (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/287566/2020-21-Panini-Recon---Glorified-Signatures-Green, 58 rows) but not on the base page (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/287562/2020-21-Panini-Recon---Glorified-Signatures, 57 rows). RRS-MFL (Malachi Flynn) appears on the Rookie Recon Signatures Green page (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/287579/2020-21-Panini-Recon---Rookie-Recon-Signatures-Green, 38 rows) but not on the base page (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/287575/2020-21-Panini-Recon---Rookie-Recon-Signatures, 37 rows). In both cases the Green total matches sets.csv's independently-sourced card_count exactly (58 and 38), and the corresponding Platinum page headers also read 58 and 38, so the totals are corroborated even though the individual row is not.
- G-015 Genuine duplicate card number written verbatim and flagged per spec: RRS-JHA is printed on TWO players in this set -- Jalen Harris (Toronto Raptors) and Josh Hall (Oklahoma City Thunder). The collision reproduces on both the base page (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/287575/2020-21-Panini-Recon---Rookie-Recon-Signatures) and the Green page (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/287579/2020-21-Panini-Recon---Rookie-Recon-Signatures-Green), so it is not a one-page transcription slip. Two players only, so it is an ordinary initials collision (Jalen HArris / Josh HAll), not the four-or-more-player data-entry smear the spec says to withhold. Both rows written.
- G-016 The count ambiguity recorded in G-008 is now settled from pages actually read: they are two separate 2-card sets, 4 cards in total, not one 2-card set. Four tcdb pages agree -- Association base (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/287543/2020-21-Panini-Recon---Rookie-Private-Signings-Association) and Association Platinum (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/287545/2020-21-Panini-Recon---Rookie-Private-Signings-Association-Platinum) each render 2 rows PSA-PAC / PSA-RWO; Icon base (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/287546/2020-21-Panini-Recon---Rookie-Private-Signings-Icon) and Icon Platinum (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/287548/2020-21-Panini-Recon---Rookie-Private-Signings-Icon-Platinum) each render 2 rows PSI-PAC / PSI-RWO. Same two players (Precious Achiuwa, Robert Woodard II) in both sets, distinguished by prefix. sets.csv's card_count of 2 for each set is correct. G-008 left open for the owning agent to close; nothing in sets.csv was edited.
- G-017 Possible uncatalogued parallel tier, reported only -- parallels.csv was not touched. An eBay listing title reads "2020-21 Panini Recon - Recon Signatures Silver - #RS-MPR Mark Price" (https://www.ebay.com/itm/167759545505). parallels.csv carries only Blue, Gold, Green, Platinum and Red for this set, and tcdb's Inserts.cfm lists no Silver sid for it. Not investigated further; the title may be a seller mislabel of the un-numbered base autograph. Flagged for whoever owns parallels.csv.
