- G-001 Release date disagreement: beckett.com, checklistcenter.com, dacardworld.com and steelcitycollectibles.com all state Jan 17, 2020 (or '1/17/20'), while blog.paniniamerica.net's preview post and sportscollectorsdaily.com state 'January 3, 2020'. Used Jan 17, 2020 (the more-corroborated, retailer-confirmed street date) in release.csv; the Jan 3 date looks like an earlier solicited/target date that slipped.
- G-003 Card-level checklists for these 5 insert sets could not be corroborated from a re-fetch that returned verbatim text (multiple fetch attempts for tcdb.com insert-set checklist pages returned truncated or wrong-set content). Card counts (10/20/25/10/35) are corroborated by 3+ sources (beckett.com, sportscollectorsdaily.com, dacardworld.com, steelcitycollectibles.com, tcdb.com) but no per-card checklist was captured, consistent with EXTRACTION_SPEC treating insert card-level checklists as out of scope.
- G-004 No source (checklistcenter.com, tcdb.com, beckett.com, sportscollectorsdaily.com, dacardworld.com, steelcitycollectibles.com) states a numeric print run for the Astro, Fractal, Groove or Galactic base parallels; all describe them as unnumbered/short-print without a serialized number. Recorded as 'unnumbered' rather than guessing a figure.
- G-005 No source found explicitly calls any of the 5 base insert sets a 'case hit' or 'SSP', despite the task prompt flagging Vortex/Liftoff/Supernova/Shock Wave as sets to check. Only the 'Galactic' base/insert parallel tier is explicitly labeled 'SSP' by checklistcenter.com. Also checked for 'Sonic' and 'Crash the Game' insert sets (named in task prompt) — no evidence either exists in the 2019-20 Revolution Basketball product; they were not included. scarcity_sets.csv and ssp_cards.csv are therefore empty.
- G-006 sportscollectorsdaily.com, dacardworld.com, steelcitycollectibles.com, and beckett.com all state 'six on-card autographs per case, on average' (beckett.com adds 'a little better than 1:3 hobby boxes'), but this figure is not broken out per named autograph set (Autographs vs Rookie Autographs vs Rookie Autographs Chinese New Year combined). Declined to attribute this combined-pool rate to any single set name in scarcity_sets.csv to avoid overstating precision.
- G-007 Per-set parallel-tier repair pass (2026-08-27, targeted): looked for insert/autograph colour parallel tiers for these non-base sets and found none to source -- Rookie Autographs Chinese New Year. checklistcenter.com listed no Parallels line for this Chinese New Year-exclusive rookie auto subset during the 2026-08-27 targeted parallel-tier repair pass. Left unannotated.
- G-008 Jaxson Hayes (New Orleans Pelicans) is withheld from BOTH 20-card rookie autograph sets because tcdb stores the literal string 'TBA' in his card-number column, not a printed code. https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/223668/2019-20-Panini-Revolution-Rookie-Autographs renders 'TBA | Jaxson Hayes | New Orleans Pelicans | AU, EXCH' and https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/223669/2019-20-Panini-Revolution-Rookie-Autographs-Chinese-New-Year renders 'TBA | Jaxson Hayes | New Orleans Pelicans | AU, EXCH, SN10'. Per CHASE_CHECKLIST_SPEC, TBA/TBD is unwritable and the player is named here instead. The flag column evidences the reason: the card is an EXCH (exchange/redemption) card, so the shortfall is evidenced absence rather than an unresolved placeholder. The remaining 19 rows of each set carry real RA- letter codes and were written. Result: 19 of 20 written for each set; 168 of 170 rows across the 8 assigned sets. The parallel-page test was not needed - the base pages already print real codes - and would not help here, since the Chinese New Year page carries the identical TBA. No marketplace listing for a 2019-20 Revolution Jaxson Hayes rookie autograph was located to supply the code.
- G-009 RECLASSIFICATION CANDIDATE, flagged for human decision; sets.csv was NOT edited. 'Rookie Autographs Chinese New Year' is carried in sets.csv as an auto SET with card_count 20, but the rendered evidence says it is a serial-numbered PARALLEL of 'Rookie Autographs', not a distinct set with its own roster. https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/223669/2019-20-Panini-Revolution-Rookie-Autographs-Chinese-New-Year renders the same 20 players in the same order with card-number tokens BYTE-IDENTICAL to https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/223668/2019-20-Panini-Revolution-Rookie-Autographs - the same 19 RA- codes plus the same literal TBA row. The ONLY rendered difference is the flag column: base shows 'AU', Chinese New Year shows 'AU, SNnn' where nn is the featured player's jersey number (RA-ZWL Zion Williamson SN1, RA-JMT Ja Morant SN12, RA-THR Tyler Herro SN14, RA-RLF Romeo Langford SN45), i.e. a serial print run. sets.csv's own note already says 'each numbered to the featured player's jersey number'. Corroborated independently by https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2019-20-panini-revolution-basketball-cards which prints these as serial numbers ('Carsen Edwards - Boston Celtics #/ 29', matching tcdb's SN29). Structural support: sid 223669 sits inside the Rookie Autographs parallel block (223668 base, 223670 Infinite, 223671 Kaleido), and in 2020-21 tcdb lists the same-named entry alongside the Asia/Fractal/Infinite/Kaleido tiers (https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/257176/2020-21-Panini-Revolution). This release's parallels are confirmed to carry the base card number byte-identically. The 19 coded rows WERE written under the sets.csv set_name so the checklist survives and because sets.csv must not be edited, but they must not be read as 19 card numbers distinct from the base Rookie Autographs set. Human decision needed: either move this to parallels.csv as a tier of Rookie Autographs (print_run = featured player's jersey number, serial_numbered = yes) and delete the 19 insert_cards rows, or keep it as a set and accept the duplication. Note parallels.csv currently carries no rows for this entity at all (see G-007).
- G-010 Source calibration result for this release, recorded so a later pass does not re-derive it. cardboardconnection (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2019-20-panini-revolution-basketball-cards) PASSES on the five plain-numbered insert sets - its Vortex and Supernova rosters match tcdb name-for-name AND in the same order, and its counts (35/25/20/10/10) match sets.csv - but FAILS on both coded autograph sets, stating 'All players numbered 1-30' for Autographs and 'Players numbered 1-20' for Rookie Autographs where the cards print AG- and RA- letter codes. This is exactly the per-set-type split CHASE_CHECKLIST_SPEC describes; it was used for rosters and counts only, never for a card_number. comc card pages returned HTTP 403 through the egress proxy and could not be used. goldin.co lot pages worked and supplied the off-catalogue corroboration for AG- (https://goldin.co/item/2019-20-panini-revolution-16-kobe-bryant-signed-card-03-25-bgs-gem-minkdrii) and for the plain Vortex scheme (https://goldin.co/item/2019-20-panini-revolution-vortex-cubic-17-lebron-james-23-50-bgs-gem-mdjptq). One eBay search hit for RA-JMT was rejected as circular evidence because its title carried the tcdb flag string '(AU, RC)'. G-003, which recorded the five insert checklists as uncorroborated, is now superseded by the rows written to insert_cards.csv; it is left open rather than edited, for a human to close.
- G-020 [CORRECTED 2026-09-12] 19 rows written for "Rookie Autographs Chinese New Year" have been REMOVED. The research behind them stands and is recorded here and in the run's own gap rows; what was wrong was writing them as chase cards. FINDING (keep this): the set is a PARALLEL of "Rookie Autographs", not a distinct set. Its card_number tokens are BYTE-IDENTICAL to the base set's on all 19 rows with ZERO unique cards, the same players in the same order; its sid sits inside the Rookie Autographs parallel block alongside the Asia/Fractal/Infinite/Kaleido tiers; and the only rendered difference is the flag column, where CNY carries per-row SN values that are each player's JERSEY NUMBER, not a card number — SN = jersey number (RA-ZWL Zion SN1, RA-JMT Morant SN12, RA-THR Herro SN14, RA-RLF Langford SN45). cardboardconnection independently prints those as serial numbers. WHY REMOVED: keeping them would assert a second set of distinct chase cards that do not exist, and would inflate this release's coverage by that many rows. A parallel's checklist belongs in parallels.csv, which is out of scope for a checklist run. This matches the treatment given to 2021-22 Origins "Rookie Jumbo Jerseys Red" — and this case is stronger, since that one carried one genuinely unique card and this carries none. The open question for a human: move the set to parallels.csv as a tier of Rookie Autographs. The checklist is recoverable from the CNY sid in one fetch. Removed before minting, so no ids were spent.
