- G-001 rookie_flag for card #101-150 is based on cardsmithsbreaks.com's and checklistcenter.com's 'Rookies'/'Veterans' section-heading split (multi-source) rather than a per-card 'RC' logo/marking on the card itself; no source shows an explicit RC tag per card.
- G-002 Autographs card count disagreement: beckett.com and checklistcenter.com state 50 cards; cardsmithsbreaks.com states 48. Used 50 (multi-source) in sets.csv.
- G-003 Vortex insert set card count (35) comes from beckett.com only. tcdb.com (Inserts.cfm listing 'Vortex' plus 6 parallel-tier child sets), gogts.net, and dacardworld.com all confirm the set exists in this release but none states a card count.
- G-005 No numeric pull-odds (e.g. '1:X packs' or '1 per case') were found for any insert set or base parallel this season, consistent with the spec's note that Panini does not publish numeric basketball odds sheets. Only one qualitative source phrase was found: 'short-printed' for Prime Time Performers (gogts.net, dacardworld.com).
- G-006 Unlike 2021-22 (where gogts.net called Galactic 'the always popular SSP' and blog.paniniamerica.net called Star Factor and Prime Time Performers 'super short-printed'), no editorial/retailer source found for 2022-23 calls Galactic, Star Factor, or Vortex Galactic a 'case hit'/'SSP'/'super short print' for THIS season specifically. Only secondary-market eBay listing titles use that language (and mostly for 2023-24/2024-25 cards), which is not treated as evidence per project rules. Galactic and Star Factor were therefore left untiered in scarcity_sets.csv/scarcity_parallels.csv, and no ssp_cards.csv checklist was produced for any set this season.
- G-007 cardboardconnection.com (normally the most reliable single source per the extraction spec) returned a DNS/robots fetch error on every attempt during this extraction and could not be used to cross-check any figures in this release.
- G-008 Per-set parallel-tier repair pass (2026-08-27, targeted): looked for insert/autograph colour parallel tiers for these non-base sets and found none to source -- Prime Time Performers, Star Factor, Vortex. checklistcenter.com listed no Parallels line for Prime Time Performers or Star Factor; Vortex does not appear on the page at all for this season (confirmed by narrow re-query). 2026-08-27 targeted parallel-tier repair pass. Left unannotated.
- G-010 parallels.csv is INCOMPLETE for this release against tcdb: https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/353100/2022-23-Panini-Revolution lists 48 insert-side sids = our 9 non-base sets + 39 parallels, but parallels.csv carries only 25 non-base parallels. The 14 tcdb parallel sids with no parallels.csv row are: Liftoff! Asia (363232), Liftoff! Asia Holo Gold (363233), Rookie Revolution Asia (363246), Rookie Revolution Asia Holo Gold (363247), Shock Wave Asia (363253), Shock Wave Asia Holo Gold (363254), Supernova Asia (363261), Supernova Asia Holo Gold (363262), Vortex Asia (364199), Vortex Asia Holo Gold (364200), Vortex Cosmic (364201), Vortex Cubic (364202), Vortex Fractal (364203), Vortex Galactic (364204). This directly contradicts G-008, which recorded that no parallel tiers could be sourced for Vortex because 'Vortex does not appear on the page at all for this season' on checklistcenter.com -- tcdb carries six Vortex parallel tiers. parallels.csv was NOT modified (out of scope for this pass); recorded for a parallels-side agent.
- G-013 Vortex (35) is tcdb-SINGLE-SOURCE for both roster and card numbers. cardboardconnection.com carries no Vortex checklist section for this release (it names the set only, in 'Other inserts include Shock Wave and Vortex'), so unlike the other seven plain-numbered inserts its 35 names could not be corroborated against an independent non-tcdb roster. The 1..35 scheme itself IS corroborated within tcdb on a second endpoint -- https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/364198/2022-23-Panini-Revolution-Vortex?PageIndex=3 renders '#21 - Kevin Durant' ... '#30 - Jabari Smith Jr.', matching positions 21-30 of https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/364198/2022-23-Panini-Revolution-Vortex -- but that is one site, two views. All 35 rows written; flagged so a later pass can seek an independent roster. Related to G-003 (Vortex card_count also single-source).
- G-014 Sourcing-environment findings for this release, recorded so a later pass does not repeat the work. (1) Errors.cfm on the PARENT sid is EMPTY: https://www.tcdb.com/Errors.cfm/sid/353100/2022-23-Panini-Revolution returns 'No errors or variations have been added for this set yet.' -- no variation records, no UER: annotations and no flag column from that endpoint. The per-row flag column was available anyway, rendered inline by ViewSet.cfm ('(AU)' on every Autographs and Rookie Autographs row), so the placeholder-vs-evidenced-absence test was not lost. No row in this release carried a placeholder ordinal, a TBD/TBA token or a bare prefix, so nothing turned on it. (2) eBay /itm/ pages for this release are pervasively RETITLED to the tcdb-seeded catalogue form: of three fetched, two whose search snippets read as clean seller prose turned out to carry the '(AU)' tcdb flag string in the page title (https://www.ebay.com/itm/126866273942 and https://www.ebay.com/itm/366209344672) and were discarded as circular. Only https://www.ebay.com/itm/267567541847 ('2022 Panini Revolution Chet Holmgren #RACHG /25 Infinite Auto Rookie RC Card') is clean free-text, corroborating the RA- prefix. No clean off-catalogue title was found for the veteran A- prefix; it rests on five mutually-consistent tcdb tier pages plus the cardboardconnection roster. psacard.com auctionprices is auth-walled (302 to app.collectors.com/signin). (3) Cross-sport pollution hazard: 2022-23 Panini Revolution also exists as a Premier League SOCCER release with its own Autographs and Kaleido tiers, so set-name-keyed searches return the wrong product -- filter on player. [CORRECTED 2026-09-20: THE Errors.cfm SENTENCE QUOTED ABOVE IS NOT EVIDENCE AND THE CONCLUSION DRAWN FROM IT DOES NOT HOLD. Measured 2026-09-20 on tcdb sid 182809: Errors.cfm returns that identical sentence for a set whose own renderings carry UER on at least two cards (card 260 Mo Bamba, "UER: Statline says Undrafted, was actually drafted 6th", confirmed under &sort=0; card 67 Justin Jackson, "Career stat line is that of Kosta Koufos"). The endpoint returns the same string on a set that provably HAS errata and on one that appears not to, so it discriminates nothing and its silence is uninformative. WHAT SURVIVES: any claim here about base_set_size, about the base run being contiguous, or about no numbered block sitting past the base run, because those rest on the independent contiguous enumeration also cited in this note - the last rendered Gallery page, the empty page after it, and the per-row flag column. WHAT DOES NOT SURVIVE: the narrower claim that NO VARIATION SET EXISTS. A variation set renders as b-suffixed rows (101a/101b) that a base-run enumeration is not designed to surface, and Errors.cfm was the documented route to it, so that claim is now unsupported rather than disproved - it may still be true. Not re-fetched; recorded so it is not read as settled. See reference/caveats.csv CAV-020.]
