  • Concourse100 cards
  • Premier Level100 cards
  • Courtside100 cards
  • G-001 beckett.com/news/2022-23-panini-select-basketball-cards/ returned HTTP 403; Beckett could not be used to cross-check base size, parallels, or set counts.
  • G-002 No source consulted (cardboardconnection, checklistcenter, cardsmithsbreaks) prints explicit RC designations on the base checklist; targeted verbatim re-query of Concourse #67-68, Premier #167-172 and Courtside #267-272 confirmed no RC tags. All 300 rookie_flag values set to UNKNOWN even though 2022 draft-class players are clearly present.
  • G-003 Channel (hobby vs retail vs blaster/mega) is unverified for most parallels. Only the 14 parallels appearing on the cardsmithsbreaks HOBBY checklist (Silver, Scope, Tri-Color, Zebra, Light Blue /299, Blue Scope /249, Red /199, White /149, Neon Green /75, Copper Plaid /49, Tie-Dye /25, Gold /10, Green /5, Black 1/1) are channel-confirmed; the Disco, Cracked Ice, Cosmic, Elephant, Green Ice, Green Shock, Orange Flash, Red Wave, Tiger, Green/White/Purple and Teal/White/Pink families are marked UNKNOWN pending a retail-checklist source. [REVIEWED 2026-08-17: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-17: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-17: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-17: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-17: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-17: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-17: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-17: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-17: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 18 of 56 parallels lack a sourced channel.] [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: count is now 125 of 163 - the channel pass resolved -107 of these with cited evidence. • G-004 36 of 56 base parallels are single-source (cardboardconnection only). No second source publishes the full tier-by-tier parallel grid with print runs.
  • G-005 Pink Prizms carries three different print runs depending on tier (Concourse #/10, Premier Level #/4, Courtside 1/1). Rows were split into tier-qualified names to satisfy name uniqueness; the differing print runs are single-source and unconfirmed.
  • G-006 Scope Prizms and Tri-Color Prizms appear in the published Concourse and Premier Level tier lists but are absent from the Courtside tier list. Unclear whether this is a genuine tier restriction or a source omission.
  • G-007 Naming inconsistency within cardboardconnection: the Concourse list renders the FOTL 1/1 as 'Black Snakeskin Prizms FOTL' while the Premier Level and Courtside lists render it as 'Black Snakeskin Pulsar Prizms FOTL'. The longer form was used.
  • G-008 Die-cut parallel roster is documented only for the Premier Level tier (Blue /249, Maroon /175, Purple /99, Orange /65, Light Green /49, Tie-Dye /25, Gold /10, Green /5, Black 1/1). checklistcenter states die-cuts appear in BOTH Premier and Courtside tiers, but the published Courtside parallel list contains no die-cut entries. Disagreement unresolved.
  • G-009 cardsmithsbreaks lists an insert set named 'Unstoppable' that does not appear on cardboardconnection or checklistcenter; it was excluded from sets.csv pending confirmation. Conversely 'Thunder Lane' (15), 'Autographed Memorabilia' (30) and 'X-Factor Memorabilia Signatures' (29) appear only on cardboardconnection.
  • G-010 cardsmithsbreaks did not publish card counts for En Fuego and Snapshots; the counts used (10 and 20) are single-source from cardboardconnection.
  • G-011 The spec set_type vocabulary is base|insert|auto only. Four memorabilia/relic sets (Draft Selections Memorabilia, Selective Swatches, Sparks, Throwback Memorabilia) were classed as 'insert' and flagged in notes; two autograph/memorabilia hybrids were classed as 'auto'.
  • G-012 Hobby release date 2023-06-28 is single-source (cardboardconnection). Beckett was unreachable (403) and checklistcenter/cardsmithsbreaks did not state a date.
  • G-013 Possible duplicate: 'Blue' and 'Blue Prizms' are recorded as separate base parallels (both unnumbered, overlapping tiers). They may be one parallel under two source namings. NOT merged - kept as distinct rows pending human/source verification.
  • G-014 "Artistic Selections": no sourced own-parallel-tier colour list found for this non-base set. tcdb Inserts.cfm lists no colour-suffixed variant of this set.
  • G-015 "Color Wheel": no sourced own-parallel-tier colour list found for this non-base set. tcdb Inserts.cfm lists no colour-suffixed variant of this set.
  • G-016 Base tier print_run, serial_numbered and channel are all UNKNOWN. Four sources fetched (cardboardconnection.com, tcdb.com set page, checklistcenter.com, cardsmithsbreaks.com) agree on the tier names and the 1-100/101-200/201-300 ranges, but NONE makes any positive statement that the base cards are unnumbered or serial numbered, and none designates any base tier as hobby-exclusive or retail-exclusive. release.csv already carries base_print_run=unnumbered with basis 'assumed'; that assumption was deliberately NOT propagated into base_card_tiers.csv. beckett.com/news/2022-23-panini-select-basketball-cards/ returned HTTP 403 again (see G-001). [REVIEWED 2026-08-19: still open; 125 of 163 parallels lack a sourced channel.]
  • G-017 "Selection Committee Signatures": insert_cards.csv carries 9 rows against a sets.csv card_count of 10. tcdb's base subset (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/372314/2022-23-Panini-Select-Selection-Committee-Signatures) and all three of its parallel subsets (Black Prizms 386225, Gold Prizms 386224, Green Ice Prizms 386223) list the same 9 SCS-xxx codes. https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2022-23-panini-select-basketball-nba-cards lists 10 and names the missing card as Magic Johnson - Los Angeles Lakers, but that page renumbers the set 1-10 and so does not print his code; no eBay/COMC/Goldin/sportscardspro listing carrying it could be found. The row is omitted rather than guessed - the printed code is NOT derivable from initials.
  • G-018 "Signature Selections": insert_cards.csv carries 49 rows against a sets.csv card_count of 50. The 49 are the union of tcdb's base subset (386226, 48 codes, lacking SS-ANT) and its Black Prizms subset (372317, 48 codes, lacking SS-JTA and adding SS-ANT). https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2022-23-panini-select-basketball-nba-cards lists 50 and names the missing card as Tim Hardaway Jr. - Dallas Mavericks, but renumbers the set 1-50 so it does not print his code, and no marketplace listing carrying it could be found. Row omitted rather than guessed.
  • G-019 "Top Shelf Signatures": insert_cards.csv carries 16 rows against a sets.csv card_count of 17. The 17th card is Luka Doncic - Dallas Mavericks. tcdb prints his card number literally as the placeholder "TBD" on all three of its subsets for this set (base 372304, Black Prizms 372307, Tie-Dye Prizms 372305), i.e. tcdb has not established the printed code either; https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2022-23-panini-select-basketball-nba-cards and https://www.checklistcenter.com/2022-23-panini-select-basketball-card-checklist/ both list him but renumber the set 1-17. "TBD" was NOT written as a card_number because it is a source placeholder, not a printed identifier.
  • G-020 "X-Factor Memorabilia Signatures": insert_cards.csv carries 28 rows against a sets.csv card_count of 29. The 29th card is Mo Bamba - Los Angeles Lakers, issued only as a 1/1 (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2022-23-panini-select-basketball-nba-cards prints it "#/1"), which is why it appears only in tcdb's Black subset (399955) and not the base subset (399954, 27 codes). tcdb shows its card number as the placeholder "TBD"; no marketplace listing carrying a printed XFS- code for it could be found. Row omitted rather than guessed.
  • G-021 "Youth Explosion Signatures": insert_cards.csv carries 37 rows against a sets.csv card_count of 40. The union of all four tcdb views (base 372301, Black Prizms 372303, Gold Prizms 372302, Green Ice Prizms 373233) is 37 YES-xxx codes, re-verified verbatim against tcdb's independent name-sort view. https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2022-23-panini-select-basketball-nba-cards lists 40 and names the three missing cards as Andrew Nembhard - Indiana Pacers, Daishen Nix - Houston Rockets (printed there as "#/10", i.e. likely parallel-only) and AJ Griffin - Atlanta Hawks, but it renumbers the set 1-40 and prints none of their codes; no marketplace listing for any of the three could be found. Rows omitted rather than guessed.
  • G-022 COVERAGE CONTRADICTION, not corrected here: tcdb's insert index for this release (https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/361298/2022-23-Panini-Select) lists two insert sets that have no row in sets.csv - "Turbocharged" (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/372221/2022-23-Panini-Select-Turbocharged, with Black/Gold/Green/Red/Silver Prizm parallels) and "Unstoppable" (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/372222/2022-23-Panini-Select-Unstoppable, with Black/Gold/Silver Prizm parallels). Both were present in 2021-22 Select. No checklist rows were written for them because insert_cards.set_name must match an existing sets.csv row byte-for-byte and inventing a set row is out of scope for this pass. Needs a sets-level decision: are these genuinely part of 2022-23 Select, or a tcdb mis-file?
