  • G-001 Release date disagreement: cardboardconnection.com, steelcitycollectibles.com and midwestcards.com all state 2022-10-21 (used); beckett.com states a preliminary 2022-10-19 ("subject to change"); gogts.net states 2022-08-29, likely a stale pre-order/announcement date. Not resolved beyond majority-source selection.
  • G-002 Multiple editorial sources (cardboardconnection.com, checklistcenter.com summary line, tcdb.com ViewSet page) state a "175-card base set", folding the separately-named 25-card "Spectracular Debut" insert (numbered 151-175) into the base count - the same double-count trap documented in both the 2019-20 and 2020-21 Spectra siblings. Resolved to 150 using cardsmithsbreaks.com's explicit Base(100)+Base Rookies(50) breakdown plus checklistcenter.com's full 1-150 player checklist and tcdb.com's Errors/Variations page.
  • G-003 No source states the base-tier print run for the 75th Anniversary parallel explicitly. The /75 figure used in parallels.csv is inferred from checklistcenter.com's autograph-set-specific line ("75th Anniversary #/75" on Rookie Jersey Autographs), an eBay listing title ("...75th Anniversary Prizm /75..."), and a tcdb.com "SN75" card tag - none of which is a direct statement of the BASE card's print run. Flagged rather than silently carried over.
  • G-004 checklistcenter.com's parallel tier for Rookie Jersey Autographs includes three "Wave FOTL" entries (Blue Wave FOTL #/30, Purple Wave FOTL #/8, Gold Wave FOTL #/3) that cardsmithsbreaks.com's tier list for the same set omits entirely. Included in the sets.csv parenthesized tier per checklistcenter.com but single-sourced for those three specific entries.
  • G-005 Card count (2), the Association/Icon two-version breakdown, and the Gold/Platinum parallel tier for this set are single-sourced to cardsmithsbreaks.com. tcdb.com's ViewSet subset index corroborates that the six sub-variant names (Association/Icon x base/Gold/Platinum) exist for this product, but does not independently state the card count or confirm the parallel-tier names.
  • G-006 No source found this season states explicit short-print/SSP wording for Base Variations specifically (contrast the 2019-20 sibling's explicit blog.paniniamerica.net "almost three times tougher to pull" line). Because Color Blast alone carries an explicit SSP quote (cardsmithsbreaks.com) this season, Base Variations was NOT tiered in the scarcity pass, matching the 2020-21 sibling's treatment for the same reason.
  • G-007 checklistcenter.com and cardsmithsbreaks.com agree on all autograph-set card counts used in sets.csv, but no third independent source (e.g. tcdb.com per-set checklist pages) was fetched for every individual autograph set to provide a 3-source confirmation; only Aspiring Autographs (tcdb.com Checklist.cfm sid 336847, 50 rows counted) was directly cross-checked card-by-card against a third source.
  • G-008 Unlike both the 2019-20 and 2020-21 Spectra siblings, no blog.paniniamerica.net "First Look" preview article for 2021-22 Spectra Basketball was found via search (only a bare "Available Friday (10/21)" listing page at paniniamerica.net/blog, which returned no extractable body text). The SSP wording for Color Blast this season instead came from cardsmithsbreaks.com - a genuine source-class difference from the siblings, not an omission.
  • G-012 TOKEN-FORM DISAGREEMENT BETWEEN SOURCES, ROWS WRITTEN VERBATIM AS tcdb RENDERS THEM. Base Variations has no sid of its own; per spec 3a it was resolved by going to Errors.cfm ON THE PARENT SID FIRST, which returned the complete list of 25 VAR records in a single fetch, each annotated with the actual variation (pairs of the form '1 LaMelo Ball BASE: Green jersey' / '1b LaMelo Ball VAR: Purple jersey'). Count lands exactly on card_count 25. The 25 tokens were written as '1b,4b,5b,6b,7b,8b,9b,11b,12b,16b,18b,30b,34b,37b,77b,101b,102b,103b,104b,105b,106b,107b,108b,110b,119b'. CAVEAT CARRIED FORWARD FROM THE SPEC: the trailing 'b' is tcdb's disambiguator and is NOT claimed to be a character printed on the card. checklistcenter.com and the existing sets.csv note render these same 25 cards WITHOUT the suffix (as 1,4,5,...,119). Both forms describe the same 25 cards; the suffixed form is written because it is what the cited pages render and because stripping it would collide with the Base Set rows sharing those numbers. Corroborated independently of Errors.cfm by the parent Checklist.cfm flag column rendering the identical 'Nb' tokens: https://www.tcdb.com/Errors.cfm/sid/324884/2021-22-Panini-Spectra , https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/324884/2021-22-Panini-Spectra-Basketball?PageIndex=1 , https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/324884/2021-22-Panini-Spectra-Basketball?PageIndex=2 . NOTE the copy check fires on this set by design - its players and numbers ARE base cards, because the set is alternate-photo variations of existing base cards; that is explained, not fabrication.
  • G-013 DUPLICATE CARD CODE WRITTEN AND FLAGGED, NOT RESOLVED. 'AA-KJN' is rendered on TWO players in Aspiring Autographs: Kai Jones (Charlotte Hornets, ViewCard cid 19995968) and Keon Johnson (Portland Trail Blazers, cid 19995969). Both players' initials fit the code, so a genuine collision is plausible. The spec's cid-adjacency test (adjacent cids = copy-down smear) CANNOT FIRE HERE: this page's cids run strictly sequentially in display order across all 50 rows (19995934-19995983, no gaps), which the spec explicitly names as the disarming precondition - every consecutive pair is adjacent, so adjacency carries zero information. Per the spec's instruction for that case, both rows are written verbatim and flagged rather than guessed; chase_cards is unique on (set_id, card_number, player_name), so both load. The set still reconciles at 50 rendered rows against Total Cards 50. If a marketplace title is ever found showing a distinct code for either player, this should be revisited. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/336847/2021-22-Panini-Spectra-Aspiring-Autographs , https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/336847/2021-22-Panini-Spectra-Aspiring-Autographs .
  • G-014 ENDPOINT BEHAVIOUR RECORDED FOR THE NEXT PASS. (1) ViewSet.cfm was complete and reconciling on 12 of 13 subset sids INCLUDING two 50-card sets (Aspiring Autographs 50/50, Diamond Anniversary 50/50) - it did NOT need Gallery on either, contradicting the expectation that the 50-card sets would. (2) The ONE ViewSet truncation was Catalysts Signatures (sid 336857), which rendered 27 rows against its own stated Total Cards 35 and stopped dead in alphabetical code order at 'CAS-MYT' - the spec's textbook truncation signal; Gallery.cfm?PageIndex=3 and =4 recovered the missing 8. (3) ViewSet.cfm on the PARENT truncated to 10 rows against a stated 220, as the spec warns. (4) Checklist.cfm on the parent truncated STOCHASTICALLY and differently per slug - observed cut-offs at cards 102b, 150 (three times, under three different valid slugs), 154 and 159 - so the 151-175 range was never obtainable from Checklist.cfm in one read and was sourced from Gallery.cfm instead. (5) CONTRADICTS THE SPEC'S UNRESOLVED QUESTION: on this release Gallery.cfm DOES render team. Gallery pages 18/19/20 returned card number, player AND team, and the teams are demonstrably real rather than copied from the base set (e.g. #154 LeBron James renders 'Cleveland Cavaliers' and #165 Chris Paul renders 'New Orleans Hornets', i.e. debut-season teams, where base_cards.csv has Lakers and Suns). Recorded as a per-release observation, not a general rule. (6) Inserts.cfm self-reported '98 entries' for its insert list; it did not fabricate any sid tested, but it OMITTED three real sets entirely (Rookie Jersey Autographs, Spectracular Debut, Base Variations - none of which has a sid) and its two numeric gaps (336929, 336932) redirect to the homepage.
