  • G-001 Insert set card counts for The Daily Dribble, Hardwood Stars, Generation Now, Hidden Gems, Big Box Ballers, Comic Court, Franchise Fabrics and Swish & Stitch come from cardboardconnection only (single-source); no second source publishes per-insert counts.
  • G-002 Target Black Friday Blaster parallel family beyond Blackout (Surge /99, Flash Drop /50, Cart Load /25, Cyber Circuit /5, Doorbuster 1/1) is single-source (checklistinsider). Blackout itself is corroborated by ripped.topps' Black Friday article and retail/secondary listings, but the colored tiers are not.
  • G-003 Base Player Number Variations (serial-numbered to each subject's jersey number) are a documented base parallel family but are omitted from parallels.csv because their print run varies per card and cannot be expressed as a single integer or 'unnumbered'.
  • G-004 New School card count disagrees across sources: cardboardconnection says 40 cards, ripped.topps says 30. Recorded as 40.
  • G-005 Flagship Real One Relics count disagrees: cardboardconnection and ripped.topps say 50, cardsmithsbreaks hobby checklist says 42. Recorded as 50.
  • G-006 Rise to the Occasion relic count disagrees: cardboardconnection 39 vs ripped.topps 40. Recorded as 39.
  • G-007 Cards 271-300 are team combo/checklist cards. checklistinsider lists them by featured player name (used here); tcdb lists them under descriptive titles with a 'CL' suffix (e.g. #276 'We The North: Raptors Shine CL'). Teams match one-to-one across both sources, but the canonical card title is not captured.
  • G-008 Card #157 Kevin Durant is listed with Houston Rockets although it sits inside the Phoenix Suns block (#156, #158-161). Only checklistinsider was readable for this card; team attribution unverified by a second source.
  • G-009 cardsmithsbreaks hobby checklist labels the base section '270 cards' while five other sources say 300. Most likely the hobby checklist page enumerates only #1-270 and omits the 30 combo cards. base_set_size recorded as 300.
  • G-010 Insert sets Checkout Champions, 1980-81 Topps Chrome, Companion and Oversized are named by only one source each (ripped.topps / sportscollectorsdaily) with no card counts.
  • G-011 Retail-exclusive autograph sets (New Applicants, Signed and Sealed, Topps Notch Signatures, Retail Rush Signatures, Shopping Spree Signatures) have no published card counts on any source fetched.
  • G-012 Hobby pack configuration disagrees: checklistinsider states '20 cards per pack, 12 packs per box' while ripped.topps (two separate pages) states '12 cards per pack, 20 packs per box'. ripped.topps (manufacturer) taken as authoritative.
  • G-013 Whether plain 'Diamante' (1:1 hanger) and 'Diamante Pink' are the same card or two distinct parallels is ambiguous across checklistinsider and ripped.topps; both are listed here as separate rows.
  • G-014 Clear Variation print run (/10) is reported by ripped.topps only; beckett and checklistinsider mention 'Clear' variations without a print run.
  • G-015 beckett.com/news returned usable summary content but its full base checklist could not be paged; base card-level verification for #61-250 rests on checklistinsider (fetched twice, self-consistent) plus structural corroboration (tcdb for #1-60 and #276-300, beckett's '45 rookie cards and 30 combo cards' totals).
  • G-016 PER-SET PARALLEL TIERS: 4 of 54 non-base sets carry an enumerated tier note. The remainder returned NO dedicated parallel section on checklistinsider, the only source that calibrated cleanly for Topps products; a sample was confirmed absent by targeted per-name query rather than inferred from silence. Many appear to be plain unnumbered inserts that genuinely have no ladder. NOTE the source landscape here differs from Panini: tcdb's Inserts.cfm page, which carried this data for every Panini line, is NOT validated for Topps, and ripped.topps.com's Collector's Guide was caught FABRICATING a full rainbow ladder that a verbatim search disproved. Resolving further needs a first-party Topps odds sheet per product, not more scraping.
  • G-017 Insert set 'Checkout Champions' could not be sourced at all. It has NO tcdb sid: the Inserts.cfm listing for parent sid 562881 (https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/562881/2025-26-Topps) renders its A-L alphabetical region in full and no 'Checkout Champions' entry exists between 'Class of 25' and 'Clutch City Prospects'. ripped.topps (https://ripped.topps.com/topps-2025-26-basketball-black-friday-target/) names it as one of three Target Black Friday exclusive inserts but publishes no card count, no odds and no players. No marketplace listing naming a Checkout Champions card was found. This is a 'nothing catalogued at all' gap: not one player of the roster is known, so it cannot be resolved by a later numbering pass alone.
  • G-018 CONTRADICTION with sets.csv: '1980-81 Topps Basketball' is recorded as card_count 99, but tcdb renders a complete contiguous run 80BK-1..80BK-100 (header 'Total Cards 100'; Gallery.cfm page 10 of 10 ends at 80BK-100 Hugo Gonzalez) and an eBay seller offers a '1980-81 Topps Basketball Insert Complete Set 1-100' (https://www.ebay.com/itm/317472042777). 100 rows were written to insert_cards.csv. sets.csv was NOT edited.
  • G-019 UNCATALOGUED tcdb SUBSETS with no sets.csv row, so not written as cards. (1) '2025-26 Topps - Companion Cards SPs', sid 566370, 5 cards: CCV-1 Cade Cunningham, CCV-2 Ja Morant, CCV-3 LaMelo Ball, CCV-4 Donovan Mitchell, CCV-5 Cooper Flagg (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/566370/2025-26-Topps---Companion-Cards-SPs). (2) '2025-26 Topps - Oversized Topps Cards SPs', sid 566372, 5 cards: OTSP-1 LaMelo Ball, OTSP-2 Cade Cunningham, OTSP-3 Jalen Williams, OTSP-4 LeBron James, OTSP-5 Dylan Harper (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/566372/2025-26-Topps---Oversized-Topps-Cards-SPs). Whether each is a distinct set or an SP tier inside 'Companion' / 'Oversized' is a scope question for a human.
  • G-020 UNCATALOGUED tcdb SUBSET with no sets.csv row: '2025-26 Topps - Fanatics Authentic Redemptions', sid 566379, 30 cards numbered FR-1..FR-30 (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/566379/2025-26-Topps---Fanatics-Authentic-Redemptions). Roster as rendered: FR-1 Trae Young, FR-2 Al Horford, FR-3 Jason Kidd, FR-4 Brandon Miller, FR-5 Dennis Rodman, FR-6 Evan Mobley, FR-7 Klay Thompson, FR-8 Nikola Jokic, FR-9 Cade Cunningham, FR-10 Stephen Curry, FR-11 Kevin Durant, FR-12 Tyrese Haliburton, FR-13 James Harden, FR-14 Bronny James Jr., FR-15 Jaren Jackson Jr., FR-16 Tyler Herro, FR-17 Giannis Antetokounmpo, FR-18 Anthony Edwards, FR-19 Zion Williamson, FR-20 Jalen Brunson, FR-21 Chet Holmgren, FR-22 Paolo Banchero, FR-23 Tyrese Maxey, FR-24 Steve Nash, FR-25 Scoot Henderson, FR-26 Chris Webber, FR-27 Victor Wembanyama, FR-28 Vince Carter, FR-29 Lauri Markkanen, FR-30 Alex Sarr. Not written because no sets.csv row exists for it; a redemption family, so it may belong with the autograph/redemption slice.
  • G-021 CONTESTED card number: Woven Wonders Kris Murray. tcdb prints WW-KM on the base page and on a verbatim cid re-fetch (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/567360/2025-26-Topps---Woven-Wonders-Relics), and the item-specific Card Number field on BOTH eBay listings checked also reads WW-KM - but the free-text seller title of https://www.ebay.com/itm/177523444910 reads '#WW-KW'. WW-KM was written. A third independent source would settle it.
  • G-022 tcdb has NO base page for two insert sets; their rows were sourced from parallel tiers instead, per the parallel-page rule. 'Hidden Gems' exists only as four colour tiers (sids 567525 Emerald Green, 567526 Citrine Orange, 567527 Alexandrite Blue, 567528 Painite Red); Emerald Green and Painite Red render byte-identical 5-row checklists. 'Rookie Roundball Remnants' exists only as seven parallel tiers (sids 567337-567343); Rainbow Foilboard and FoilFractor render byte-identical 20-row checklists. Both unions match sets.csv card_count.
  • G-023 team_or_school is EMPTY on 29 rows of '1980-81 Topps Basketball' (80BK-72..80BK-100) and 32 rows of '1980-81 Topps Chrome' (TC-MR, TC-NC and TC-NE..TC-ZR) because Checklist.cfm truncated at rows 72 and 68 respectively and the recovery source, Gallery.cfm, renders no team column. The card numbers and player names are complete for both sets; only the team attribution is missing.
  • G-024 PREFIX COLLISIONS inside this release, all three verified against independent seller titles, so (set_name, card_number) is the only safe key: 'CC-' is used by THREE sets - Comic Court (CC-1 LeBron James), Clutch City Prospects (CC-1 Cooper Flagg) and Companion (CC-1 Victor Wembanyama); 'SA-' is used by TWO - Stars of the NBA (SA-1..SA-30) and Sole Ambition (SA-1..SA-10). Also note cross-sport pollution: 2025 Topps All Kings BASEBALL uses the same AK- prefix and has its own AK-25 (Freddie Freeman) - filter every search on a player, never on the set name.
  • G-025 RESOLVED-BY-REPORT (sets.csv NOT edited): all five autograph sets recorded with card_count UNKNOWN in sets.csv have a tcdb page whose header total equals its own rendered row count. Topps Notch Signatures = 38 (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/566289/2025-26-Topps-Topps-Notch-Signatures ; the seven Holo Foil parallel sids 566332-566338 also head 38). New Applicants Autographs = 38 (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/566290/2025-26-Topps-New-Applicants-Autographs). Retail Rush Signatures = 50 (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/567297/2025-26-Topps-Retail-Rush-Signatures). Shopping Spree Signatures = 39 (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/567299/2025-26-Topps-Shopping-Spree-Signatures). Signed and Sealed = 19, from parallel tiers only (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/567177/2025-26-Topps---Signed-and-Sealed-Orange-Holo-Foil and sid 567179; sid 567182 also heads 19). Full checklists for all five are written to insert_cards.csv. This supersedes the 'no published card counts' finding in G-011 for these five sets; a human should decide whether to promote the counts into sets.csv.
  • G-026 UNCATALOGUED tcdb SUBSET with no sets.csv row, so not written as cards: '2025-26 Topps - 1980-81 Topps Chrome Basketball Veteran Autographs', sid 566285, header 'Total Cards 45', 45 rows rendered, prefix 80CA2- (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/566285/2025-26-Topps-1980-81-Topps-Chrome-Basketball-Veteran-Autographs). It is the veteran sibling of the set sets.csv calls '1980-81 Topps Chrome Basketball Rookie Mojo Autographs' and carries the same Mojo Refractor ladder (tcdb sids 567475 Gold / 567476 Orange / 567477 Black / 567478 Red / 567479 Superfractor). Roster as rendered: 80CA2-AB Anthony Black, 80CA2-AG Aaron Gordon, 80CA2-AM Ajay Mitchell, 80CA2-AN Aaron Nesmith, 80CA2-AS Alperen Sengun, 80CA2-DF De'Aaron Fox, 80CA2-DM Davion Mitchell, 80CA2-DMI Donovan Mitchell, 80CA2-DR Dennis Rodman, 80CA2-DT David Thompson, 80CA2-DW Dominique Wilkins, 80CA2-GT Gary Trent Jr., 80CA2-HO Hakeem Olajuwon, 80CA2-JB Jalen Brunson, 80CA2-JG Jalen Green, 80CA2-JH Jrue Holiday, 80CA2-JHR James Harden, 80CA2-JK Jonathan Kuminga, 80CA2-JV Jarred Vanderbilt, 80CA2-JW Jaylen Wells, 80CA2-JWA Jordan Walsh, 80CA2-JWI Jalen Wilson, 80CA2-KG Kevin Garnett, 80CA2-KK Kyle Kuzma, 80CA2-KP Kristaps Porzingis, 80CA2-LBJ LeBron James, 80CA2-MS Marcus Sasser, 80CA2-MW Mark Williams, 80CA2-PA Precious Achiuwa, 80CA2-PG Pau Gasol, 80CA2-PP Payton Pritchard, 80CA2-PS Pascal Siakam, 80CA2-PST Peja Stojakovic, 80CA2-QP Quinten Post, 80CA2-RH Rip Hamilton, 80CA2-SH Scoot Henderson, 80CA2-TD Tristan da Silva, 80CA2-TH Tyler Herro, 80CA2-TMC Tracy McGrady, 80CA2-TMU Trey Murphy III, 80CA2-TS Terrence Shannon Jr., 80CA2-VC Vince Carter, 80CA2-VW Victor Wembanyama, 80CA2-YM Yves Missi, 80CA2-ZC Zach Collins. Whether this is a set sets.csv is missing, or an in-scope part of the Chrome/Silver Pack product rather than flagship, is a scope question for a human. NEVER created as a set here.
  • G-027 FOLLOW-UP TO G-020, requested by the autograph pass: 'Fanatics Authentic Redemptions' (tcdb sid 566379) does NOT map to any sets.csv row of set_type auto. All 17 auto rows in sets.csv were checked by name; none is a redemption set and none has card_count 30. It therefore remains an uncatalogued subset with no sets.csv row and stays unwritten. The same holds for the two SP tiers in G-019.
  • G-028 NAME MISMATCH between sets.csv and tcdb on two autograph sets; rows were still written because count, parallel ladder and prefix all agree. (1) sets.csv '1980-81 Topps Basketball Rookie Autographs' (40) = tcdb '2025-26 Topps - 1980-81 Topps Rookie Autographs' sid 567268 (40 rows, prefix 80B2R-, the rookie sibling of 80B2-). (2) sets.csv '1980-81 Topps Chrome Basketball Rookie Mojo Autographs' (40) = tcdb '2025-26 Topps - 1980-81 Topps Chrome Basketball Rookie Autographs' sid 567298 (40 rows, prefix 80CR2-); tcdb omits 'Mojo' from the name while carrying exactly the Gold/Orange/Black/Red Mojo Refractor + Superfractor ladder the sets.csv note lists. sets.csv was NOT renamed. A human should confirm both mappings.
  • G-029 SINGLE-SOURCED SET: 'Rookie Photo Shoot Dual Autographs' has NO tcdb page at all - searched by name and by sid probe; tcdb carries Rookie Photo Shoot Autographs at sid 567245 but no Dual subset, and no parallel tier of one either. Its 10 rows come solely from https://www.sportscardspro.com/console/basketball-cards-2025-topps-rookie-photo-shoot-dual-autograph?sort=name , which lists exactly 10 distinct RPD- codes (each twice, Platinum and Red) against a sets.csv card_count of 10. sportscardspro was calibrated for this release against Marks of Excellence, whose codes are held from tcdb, and reproduced all 12 rendered codes exactly - so it prints the real codes here rather than renumbering 1..N. No marketplace free-text title carrying an RPD- code was found (eBay search returned only a 2008-09 Topps #RPD-AA card, a different release). A second independent source would settle it.
  • G-030 CODES WHOSE SUFFIX DOES NOT FIT THE PLAYER, written verbatim as printed and flagged rather than 'corrected' (correcting one would be derivation). (1) 'Topps Notch Signatures' TNS-AR = Kel'el Ware on BOTH tcdb (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/566289/2025-26-Topps-Topps-Notch-Signatures) and sportscardspro (https://www.sportscardspro.com/console/basketball-cards-2025-topps-notch-signatures?sort=model-number), even though TNS-ARE goes to Austin Reaves and TNS-AREE to Antonio Reeves; two sources agree, so it was written. (2) 'Retail Rush Signatures' RS-JW = Jalen Hood-Schifino, likewise confirmed on both tcdb and https://www.sportscardspro.com/console/basketball-cards-2025-topps-retail-rush-signature?sort=name&page=3 . (3) 'Shopping Spree Signatures' SSA-LW = Liam McNeeley rests on tcdb ALONE - the sportscardspro page truncates before it, and every sibling set gives McNeeley -LM. (4) 'New Applicants Autographs' NA-DK = Derik Queen where all six sibling sets use -DQ; tcdb only. (5) '1980-81 Topps Basketball Autographs' 80B2-KC = Corey Kispert (tcdb only; Topps Notch gives him TNS-CK). Items 3-5 are single-sourced and worth a second look.
  • G-031 PREFIX COLLISION inside the autograph slice, extending the list in G-024: 'TFRA-' serves TWO sets - Flagship Real One Autographs (42 cards, TFRA-AI..TFRA-VW, tcdb sid 566282) and the separate 1-card set Flagship Real One Autographs Spike Lee (TFRA-SL, tcdb sid 567301). TFRA-SL does not appear on the 42-card page, so no code string is duplicated, but a resolver keyed on prefix alone will mis-hit. (set_name, card_number) remains the only safe key. Also note CROSS-RELEASE pollution on 'Havoc Marks': 2025-26 Topps Chrome Update carries a set of the same name with DIFFERENT suffixes - seller titles https://www.ebay.com/itm/327328668190 ('#HM-BSA Ben Saraf') and https://www.ebay.com/itm/128017186619 ('#HM-NT Nikola Topic') are Chrome Update cards, and neither player is on the flagship Havoc Marks checklist. Filter marketplace evidence on the release, not the set name.
  • G-032 tcdb has NO base page for three autograph sets; their rows were sourced from parallel tiers per the parallel-page rule, and in each case the tiers agree with sets.csv exactly. (1) 'Signed and Sealed' exists only as Holo Foil tiers - Orange sid 567177 and Black sid 567179 render byte-identical 19-row checklists, Red sid 567182 also heads 19. (2) '1980-81 Topps Basketball Triple Autographs' exists only as Black Rainbow sid 567306, Red Rainbow sid 567307 and FoilFractor sid 567308; the first two render byte-identical 10-row checklists = sets.csv 10. (3) 'Flagship Real One Autographs Spike Lee' exists only as sids 567301-567305; Gold Rainbow sid 567301 renders its single row = sets.csv 1. No placeholder ordinals appeared on any tier in this release, and no tier was more complete than another.
  • G-033 ENUMERATION LIMIT for the autograph blocks. tcdb's Inserts.cfm for parent 562881 self-reports its full listing but TRUNCATES at 142 entries, alphabetically at 'Levitation Orange Rainbow' - so Marks of Excellence, New Applicants, Retail Rush, Rookie Photo Shoot, Shopping Spree, Signed and Sealed and Topps Notch Signatures are ALL invisible on it and were found by sid probe and site search instead. Two different slug variants truncated at the same point, so the truncation was not stochastic here. Sid probing is expensive on this release because the auto sids are scattered islands heavily interleaved with unrelated products - 566280-566297 and 566318-566338 are Topps, but 566298-566317 are 2025 Panini Revolution, 2025 Bowman University Chrome, 2025 Topps Chrome Sapphire Disney and a 2013 Green Bay Packers Police set, and the 567170-567310 island is interleaved card-by-card with 2024 Wild Card Lamine Yamal Comix and 2025 Digimon. NEVER compute a sid by offset here. All 17 sets.csv auto rows were nonetheless filled, so this is a note about method, not a coverage gap; but a later sweep of these blocks may still surface more uncatalogued subsets like the one in G-026.
