tcdb sid 184227, "Total Cards: 12". THE DISTINCT SERIAL-TOKEN SET OF THIS TIER IS EXACTLY {SN15, SN10}, enumerated over all 12 rows in one fetch and NOT sampled: https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/184227/2017-18-Panini-Vanguard-Postseason-Heroes-Autographed-Materials-Purple. SN15 on 10 rows and SN10 on two (PH-BWL Bill Walton, PH-JKD Jason Kidd) - the same two rows that deviate on Gold. ⚠ PER-CARD VARIABLE RUN, SO print_run AND serial_numbered ARE BOTH UNKNOWN. The tier is PROVABLY serial numbered - every row carries an SN token - but the tokens disagree with each other, and migrations/003_parallels.sql (run_and_serial_agree) cannot express serial_numbered=yes with print_run=UNKNOWN, so the fact is carried here and in a gaps row instead. Writing the modal token would be a false sourced integer on the minority rows. EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.3. PH-KLV Kevin Love renders EXCH on this tier. SINGLE-SOURCE: cardboardconnection's PARALLEL CARDS line for this set does not list a Purple tier at all (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2017-18-panini-vanguard-basketball-nba-cards), so tcdb's sid is the only evidence this tier exists. Per EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.1 an editorial checklist omitting a tier is not a statement that it does not exist; the tier is filed on tcdb's evidence and the omission is recorded in gaps G-008. sportscardchecklist DOES list it, but it matches tcdb's rendered counts on all 40 entries of this product, which is the shared-upstream signature, so it is not counted as an independent leg. CHANNEL NOT ASSIGNED, DELIBERATELY. No source found in this build asserts channel EXCLUSIVITY for this product or for any tier of it. The two strongest statements anywhere are both PRESENCE statements in the sense of reference/caveats.csv CAV-010: Panini America's own blog says "On average, each hobby box of 2017-18 Vanguard Basketball (five cards per box, six boxes per case) will deliver four autographs and one base card or parallel." (https://blog.paniniamerica.net/the-panini-america-quality-control-gallery-2017-18-vanguard-basketball-50-images/) and cardboardconnection says "Formerly a Pacific brand across several sports from the early 2000s, each Hobby box of the basketball product averages four autographs." (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2017-18-panini-vanguard-basketball-nba-cards). Both describe what a hobby box CONTAINS; neither says the product is sold only through hobby. channel is therefore UNKNOWN with an EMPTY channel_basis and an EMPTY channel_confidence, which migrations/003_parallels.sql requires (basis_iff_channel_known rejects channel=UNKNOWN with channel_basis=unsupported). See gaps G-004.
