Rows 101-130 of tcdb sid 184204 minus card 104, all rendering "AU, SN1" - distinct token set exactly {SN1}, enumerated at https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/184204/2017-18-Panini-Vanguard-Red?PageIndex=2. Card 104 Brandon Paul is absent and cardboardconnection states that independently: "Red 1/1 (no Brandon Paul*)" (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2017-18-panini-vanguard-basketball-nba-cards). sportscardchecklist lists "Rookie Signatures Red (29 Cards)" - 30 - 1 - at https://www.sportscardchecklist.com/sport-basketball/year-2017-18/index-panini-vanguard/trading-card-checklists-and-product-information, a third source agreeing on the omission. tcdb files ONE sid for this colour spanning the whole 1-160 parent checklist, so the tier is recorded once per scope. cardboardconnection and sportscardchecklist both split it the same way - cardboardconnection lists a separate "PARALLEL CARDS" line under each set (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2017-18-panini-vanguard-basketball-nba-cards) and sportscardchecklist lists "2017-18 Panini Vanguard Gold (100 Cards)" alongside separate "Rookie Signatures Gold (30 Cards)" and "Prime Prospects Signatures Gold (30 Cards)" entries (https://www.sportscardchecklist.com/sport-basketball/year-2017-18/index-panini-vanguard/trading-card-checklists-and-product-information). Three sources agree on the scope split; tcdb alone merges them. CHANNEL NOT ASSIGNED, DELIBERATELY. No source found in this build asserts channel EXCLUSIVITY for this product or for any tier of it. The two strongest statements anywhere are both PRESENCE statements in the sense of reference/caveats.csv CAV-010: Panini America's own blog says "On average, each hobby box of 2017-18 Vanguard Basketball (five cards per box, six boxes per case) will deliver four autographs and one base card or parallel." (https://blog.paniniamerica.net/the-panini-america-quality-control-gallery-2017-18-vanguard-basketball-50-images/) and cardboardconnection says "Formerly a Pacific brand across several sports from the early 2000s, each Hobby box of the basketball product averages four autographs." (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2017-18-panini-vanguard-basketball-nba-cards). Both describe what a hobby box CONTAINS; neither says the product is sold only through hobby. channel is therefore UNKNOWN with an EMPTY channel_basis and an EMPTY channel_confidence, which migrations/003_parallels.sql requires (basis_iff_channel_known rejects channel=UNKNOWN with channel_basis=unsupported). See gaps G-004.
