Cards 1-140, contiguous with no unissued interior number, enumerated row by row and cross-checked at three endpoint overlaps that agreed row for row: cards 61-69 (Checklist.cfm page 1 against Gallery.cfm page 7), 71-72 (Checklist.cfm page 1 under &sort=0 against Gallery.cfm page 8) and 126-130 (Checklist.cfm page 2 against Gallery.cfm page 18). Gallery.cfm page 20 is the last page and renders card 140 with no page 21 link, so there is no numbered block past the base run. Three independent lineages state 140: tcdb's parent "Total Cards: 140", sportscardchecklist "2017-18 Panini Ascension (140 Cards)", and tcdb's four full-run colour parallels, each of which also renders "Total Cards: 140". cardboardconnection splits the same cards into "Base Set Checklist 100 cards." plus "Base Rookies Set Checklist 40 cards." while its prose calls them one thing -- "Anchoring the 2017-18 Panini Ascension Basketball checklist is the dynamic base set and 40-card Rookies subset." THE RUN IS TIERED and base_card_tiers.csv carries the two tiers: 1-100 (no RC token on any row) and 101-140 (RC on every row and on no row below 101) -- a within-page discriminative test in both directions. UNIT NOTE: the parent renders 200 rows over these 140 numbers because 60 numbers also carry a photo-variation row, which tcdb disambiguates with a/b suffixes; the 140 header counts distinct issued numbers and excludes that layer. base_cards.csv carries the 140 integer slots only.
