No base-set parallel has a row in the catalogue yet. That is not a claim that none exist — this release's open questions record what is known about its parallels and why it is not yet expressible as a row.

  • Rookies I33 cards
  • Rookies II33 cards
  • Rookies III33 cards

  • G-001 base_print_run and base_print_run_basis are both UNKNOWN. No source consulted states whether 2018-19 Court Kings base cards carry a serial number. The available evidence is an ABSENCE: tcdb renders no flag token on any base row of the parent (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/196490/2018-19-Panini-Court-Kings) while rendering SN99/SN25/SN1 on the Ruby/Sapphire/Masterpiece parallels of the same cards, and cardboardconnection lists print runs for the parallels only. Per the extraction spec that is at best 'assumed', and CAV-024 records that two Court Kings seasons which originally wrote 'unnumbered' were demoted to UNKNOWN for exactly this evidence shape. UNKNOWN is written for comparability with all six sibling seasons. Sources: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/196490/2018-19-Panini-Court-Kings ; https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2018-19-panini-court-kings-basketball-cards
  • G-002 All five tiers carry print_run=UNKNOWN and serial_numbered=UNKNOWN. Their EXISTENCE, NAMES and RANGES are sourced twice over (tcdb renders the tier name inline on every row from 101 to 232; checklistcenter heads the five sections separately with the same boundaries), but no source states a per-tier print run. cardboardconnection states only a SCARCITY ordering - 'Increasing in rarity at each level, Rookies I cards are the most common and Rookies IV cards are the rarest.' - which is a short-print statement, not a serial number, and was deliberately not promoted into print_run. This is the same modelling gap CAV-024 records for the whole line. • G-003 DIVERGENCE FROM SIX SIBLING RELEASES, recorded rather than smoothed over. This release files its five base-run parallels (International, Jade, Ruby, Sapphire, Masterpiece) as scope_type=block, because tcdb states their real spans: Total Cards 100 for Jade/Ruby/Sapphire/Masterpiece (the 1-100 Base Set tier only) and Total Cards 199 for International (Base Set + Rookies I-III, not Rookies IV), against a 232-card base run. courtkings-bkb-2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24 and 2024-25 all file their colour parallels as scope_type=base-set with an empty scope - and courtkings-bkb-2019-20's own release note says in prose that its parallels 'apply to the cards-1-67 base segment only per checklistcenter.com', i.e. it asserts the narrower scope in the notes while the structured field says base-set. Same evidence shape, opposite structured value, and nothing on either row tells a consumer which convention it is under. A repair pass should settle the line. Sources: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/201372/2018-19-Panini-Court-Kings-Jade ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/201371/2018-19-Panini-Court-Kings-International
  • G-004 CONSUMER IMPACT of the block-scope decision above: this release has ZERO parallel rows with scope_type=base-set. Anyone filtering scope_type='base-set' to get 'the base set's parallels' (the filter CAV-026 documents as the pre-2026-08-24 behaviour) will see none for courtkings-bkb-2018-19 while seeing six to thirteen for every other Court Kings season. The five block rows plus base_card_tiers carry the real answer.
  • G-005 THE BLANK-NOTES TEST FAILS IN THIS PARENT'S 'Insert Sets' SECTION AND MUST NOT BE USED THERE. On https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/196490/2018-19-Panini-Court-Kings the 'Parallel Sets' section does split cleanly - Ruby/Sapphire/Masterpiece carry 'Serial numbered to 99'/'to 25'/'1/1' and render SN99/SN25/SN1, while Jade and International carry no annotation and render no token - so the blank-annotation test is licensed there and was used. In the 'Insert Sets' section on the SAME page it is refuted: 'Portraits Ruby' has a BLANK Notes cell and its own page renders 'SN99' on every one of 60 rows (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/201318/2018-19-Panini-Court-Kings-Portraits-Ruby), as do Rookie Portraits Ruby/Jade/Sapphire/Masterpiece, all four blank in Notes. This is the Donruss shape the extraction spec describes - one page, two sections, two different meanings for the same column. No insert-scope print run was written off a blank Notes cell.
  • G-006 16 set-scope parallel rows carry print_run=UNKNOWN because cardboardconnection states a CEILING or a DISJUNCTION, neither of which is a print run: 'Ruby #/99 or less' (Brush Strokes, Court Kings, High Court, Impressionist Ink, Sovereign, Studio), 'Sapphire #/25 or less' (Brush Strokes, Court Kings), 'Sapphire #/25 or #/10' (High Court, Impressionist Ink, Legacies, Sovereign, Studio), 'Ruby #/99 or #/49' (Fresh Paint, Heir Apparent) and 'Ruby #/35 or #/25' (Legacies). Under the older catalogue convention these would have been written as the ceiling with a note (see EXTRACTION_SPEC on Contenders Ticket Stub 77 and Elite 99); under this spec they are UNKNOWN. Source: https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2018-19-panini-court-kings-basketball-cards
  • G-007 SCHEMA CANNOT EXPRESS 'SERIAL NUMBERED, RUN VARIES PER CARD', and this release proves that state rather than merely suspecting it. A distinct-flag-token enumeration of High Court Signatures Ruby returns 'AU, SN99' on 18 rows, 'AU, SN25' on 11 and 'AU, SN15' on 3 (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/201351/2018-19-Panini-Court-Kings-High-Court-Signatures-Ruby). The row is therefore PROVABLY serial numbered with a per-card run, and the forced print_run/serial_numbered pairing collapses it to UNKNOWN/UNKNOWN - indistinguishable from 'we found nothing'. The same shape is visible on every autograph set's own base page (e.g. Brush Strokes renders SN49 and SN149 on adjacent rows). The held fact is recorded here because the CSV cannot carry it.
  • G-008 CARD COUNT CONTESTED - High Court Signatures. Written: 39. tcdb states 'Total Cards: 39' and a full row-by-row enumeration under ?sort=0 returned exactly 39 rows, HC-AAT through HC-WEL, counted by this agent rather than taken from a fetch's own total (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/201349/2018-19-Panini-Court-Kings-High-Court-Signatures?sort=0). Against that, checklistcenter states 'High Court Signatures Set - 40 Cards' (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2018-19-panini-court-kings-basketball/) AND tcdb's own High Court Signatures Ruby parallel page states 'Total Cards: 40'. So a tcdb page disagrees with another tcdb page. 39 is written because it is the only figure backed by a counted enumeration; the 40 may be a real card the base page is missing (the documented parallel-page recovery shape) and an insert_cards pass should union the Ruby roster against the base roster to settle it.
  • G-009 CARD COUNT CONTESTED - Legacies Signatures. Written: 9. tcdb states 'Total Cards: 9' and a full enumeration under ?sort=0 returned exactly 9 rows, LS-BRS/LS-DLL/LS-KBR/LS-KDR/LS-KIV/LS-LBD/LS-MJN/LS-RML/LS-SON, all flagged 'AU, SN49', counted by this agent (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/201358/2018-19-Panini-Court-Kings-Legacies-Signatures?sort=0). checklistcenter states 'Legacies Signatures Set - 10 Cards, Serial Numbered #/49' (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2018-19-panini-court-kings-basketball/); cardboardconnection lists the set with no count. 9 written; the tenth signer, if real, is unidentified.
  • G-010 SET NAME VARIANCE ACROSS SOURCES - nothing was renamed, but a resolver needs the aliases. tcdb titles three autograph sets without the word Autographs ('Brush Strokes', 'Fresh Paint', 'Heir Apparent') where cardboardconnection writes 'Brush Strokes Autographs', 'Fresh Paint Autographs', 'Heir Apparent Autographs' and checklistcenter writes 'Brush Strokes Auto Set' etc. cardboardconnection's form was written because it matches the form courtkings-bkb-2019-20 already carries for the same three sets. tcdb names the Portraits rookie set 'Rookie Portraits' while checklistcenter names it 'Rookies Portraits'; tcdb's form was written. checklistcenter spells 'Le Cinque Piu Belle' as 'Le Cirque Piu Belle' (the same misspelling it carries for 2019-20); tcdb's and cardboardconnection's spelling was written. Sources: https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/196490/2018-19-Panini-Court-Kings ; https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2018-19-panini-court-kings-basketball-cards ; https://www.checklistcenter.com/2018-19-panini-court-kings-basketball/
  • G-011 SET-LEVEL PRINT RUNS THAT sets.csv CANNOT HOLD. Portraits and Rookie Portraits are UNIFORMLY serial numbered to 199 - tcdb renders 'SN199' on every row of both, checklistcenter states 'Serial Numbered #/199' for both and cardboardconnection states 'Serial numbered #/199' for Portraits. sets.csv has no print_run column and the figure was deliberately NOT written into card_count (the §5.4 trap). Separately, every autograph set is serial numbered '#/149 or as Noted' or '#/199 or as Noted' per checklistcenter, and tcdb row tokens confirm the numbering varies per card, so those sets have no single print run at all. Sources: https://www.checklistcenter.com/2018-19-panini-court-kings-basketball/ ; https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2018-19-panini-court-kings-basketball-cards
  • G-012 Errors.cfm on the parent returned 'No errors or variations have been added for this set yet.' (https://www.tcdb.com/Errors.cfm/sid/196490/2018-19-Panini-Court-Kings). Per CAV-020 that sentence is returned on sets that provably DO have errata, so it discriminates nothing and NO claim is made here about whether a variation set exists. What does survive is independent of that endpoint: the base run was enumerated contiguously 1-232 with no duplicated or suffixed number seen on any of the eight pages read (Checklist.cfm pages 1-3, Gallery.cfm pages 9, 10, 18, 19, 20, 24), and tcdb's parent header 'Total Cards: 232' reconciles exactly with 232 rendered rows over 232 distinct integer numbers.
  • G-013 International's upper bound is sourced but NOT row-enumerated. tcdb states 'Total Cards: 199' for the set and its Inserts.cfm Notes cell reads 'International version (Retail blaster) cards 1-100 have a glossy finish; cards 101-199 have a canvas stock finish similar to Hobby, but have silver foil instead of gold.' - two independent statements on tcdb that the set spans 1-199 and therefore excludes the Rookies IV tier (200-232). The set page's own row rendering truncated at card 76 on one fetch and card 79 on another, so no fetch actually rendered card 199. Sources: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/201371/2018-19-Panini-Court-Kings-International ; https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/196490/2018-19-Panini-Court-Kings
  • G-014 CHANNEL: 50 of 51 parallel rows carry channel=UNKNOWN with an EMPTY channel_basis, because no source states a trade channel or box SKU for them. The exception is International, written channel=blaster with channel_sku='Retail blaster' and channel_basis=sourced-presence on the strength of the parenthetical '(Retail blaster)' inside tcdb's Notes cell. That parenthetical plausibly asserts exclusivity, but 'presence' is the weaker claim and was written instead. Note also that 'blaster' is not filed as a kind of retail, per CAV-009. Source: https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/196490/2018-19-Panini-Court-Kings
  • G-015 rookie_flag='no' on cards 1-100 rests on a DISCRIMINATIVE ABSENCE, not on a positive statement. tcdb prints the RC flag on every row from 101 to 232 (confirmed on Checklist.cfm page 2, Gallery.cfm pages 18-20 and 24) and prints no flag on cards 1-100 under two differently-varied fetches (Checklist.cfm?PageIndex=1 and Gallery.cfm?PageIndex=1&sort=0). The segment is also populated by established veterans (LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant, Dirk Nowitzki), for whom a 2018-19 rookie card is temporally impossible. rookie_flag='yes' on 101-232 is directly sourced from the RC token.
  • G-016 SINGLE-SOURCED ITEMS. (1) All four Rookie Portraits parallels (Ruby /99, Jade /35, Sapphire /25, Masterpiece 1/1) rest on tcdb row tokens alone - cardboardconnection does not list the Rookie Portraits set at all, and checklistcenter lists the set but not its parallels. (2) The release date 2019-04-03 rests on cardboardconnection ('Release Date: April 3, 2019') and Steel City Collectibles ('4/3/19'); neither labels it an estimate, but sportscollectorsdaily's 2018-19 Court Kings preview returned HTTP 429 and was never read, and beckett.com was not reachable, so the usual third editorial check is missing. (3) The 'Retail blaster' channel for International rests on one tcdb Notes cell.
  • G-017 SOURCE CALIBRATION, run before any unverifiable value was written. cardboardconnection was tested on three questions that tcdb can answer independently and passed 3/3: it states 'Ruby #/99' and tcdb's base Ruby page renders SN99; it states 'Sapphire #/25' and tcdb renders SN25; it states 'Jade #/35' for the Portraits parallel and tcdb's Portraits Jade page renders SN35. checklistcenter FAILED on the two counts that could be checked by enumeration (High Court Signatures 40 vs a counted 39, Legacies Signatures 10 vs a counted 9) while passing on eleven others, so it was used for set inventory and structure and never as the sole authority for a count. • G-018 tcdb SID BLOCK COMPLETENESS, recorded so a later pass need not redo it. The Court Kings subset block is 201303-201375. Both boundaries were proved foreign: sid 201302 renders '2019 Panini Diamond Kings - The 300 Masterpiece' (baseball) and sid 201376 renders '2012 SP Authentic - Immortal Inks' (golf). Four interior sids are NOT Court Kings - 201327, 201329 and 201370 each render a 2012 SP Authentic golf set, and 201328 renders the tcdb HOME PAGE, the documented non-existent-sid signature. So 73 sids minus 4 foreign = 69, which reconciles exactly with Inserts.cfm's 64 'Insert Sets' plus 5 'Parallel Sets' entries, and with this build's 18 insert/auto sets + 46 set-scope parallels + 5 base-run parallels. NOTE the parent sid 196490 sits nowhere near its own children, and interleaving with unrelated products is present here exactly as the corrected scope memo warns. A reconciling count bounds the search; it does not prove tcdb holds everything. Source: https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/196490/2018-19-Panini-Court-Kings
  • G-019 STRUCTURE IS NOT INHERITED FROM THE SIBLING SEASON, and differs from it completely. courtkings-bkb-2019-20 is a 199-card base run tiled 67 + 4x33 with the unified segment at 1-67; courtkings-bkb-2018-19 is 232 tiled 100 + 4x33 with the unified segment at 1-100 and Rookies I-IV at 101-133 / 134-166 / 167-199 / 200-232. Every boundary was sourced from 2018-19 pages. Noted because the 2018-19 numbers 101-133 and 134-166 and 167-199 ALSO exist in the 2019-20 release under DIFFERENT tier names (Rookies II, Rookies III, Rookies IV there), so a reader comparing the two seasons by card number will map the wrong tier. The structure is instead identical in shape to courtkings-bkb-2024-25 (100 + 4x33, same boundaries) plus that season's extra 'Rookies 0' tier at 233-265.
