Box-set reissue: the base checklist is identical, card for card, to 2024-25 Panini Hoops — the same 300 cards printed on premium stock and sold as a complete set.

No base-set parallel has a row in the catalogue yet. That is not a claim that none exist — this release's open questions record what is known about its parallels and why it is not yet expressible as a row.

  • G-001 EXTRACTION_SPEC 5.2 BASE-CARD IDENTITY COLLISION, naming both releases: hoopspremium-bkb-2024-25 (this release) and paninihoops-bkb-2024-25 describe THE SAME 300 physical cards. This release is the /199 Panini-website Premium Box Set printing of that checklist; the parent is the pack-issued printing (paninihoops-bkb-2024-25 carries base_print_run=unnumbered, base_print_run_basis=assumed). A source states the repackaging in words rather than leaving it to be inferred: "Covering the main series from 2024-25 NBA Hoops Basketball, the 2024-25 NBA Hoops Premium Box Set Basketball checklist adds premium foil stock to the 300-card set." and "Arriving as a limited-edition product, the 2024-25 NBA Hoops Premium Box Set Basketball release features premium foil stock versions of the entire base set." (https://www.checklistinsider.com/2024-25-nba-hoops-premium-box-set). MEASURED, NOT ESTIMATED, against data/paninihoops-bkb-2024-25/base_cards.csv with csv.DictReader: POSITIONAL overlap (row index against row index, comparing card_number plus player_name plus team_or_school) = 298 of 300. BY-CARD-NUMBER overlap (keyed on card_number, comparing player_name plus team_or_school) = 298 of 300. Zero card numbers appear on only one side; team_or_school is identical on all 300 rows; the only two non-matching rows are #266 and #273 and they differ by DIACRITICS ALONE in the player name (gap G-020). BOTH FIGURES ARE REPORTED DELIBERATELY, because they can diverge badly and a single figure misleads: the 2020-21 pair of this same line reads 175/270 positionally against 269/270 by card number, purely because one row is numbered "3b" and shifts every row after it. Here the two agree because both files are a clean contiguous 1-300 in the same order. WHAT THE COMPARISON IS WORTH THIS SEASON is set out in G-017 and it is worth MORE than 2023-24's. The same physical object is ALSO recorded on the parent side, but only in a gap and not as data: data/paninihoops-bkb-2024-25/gaps.csv G-005 says "'Premium Box Set' #/199 is listed as a base parallel by checklistinsider and checklistcenter, and 'Base Hoops Tribute Premium Box Set Autograph' (20 cards, /10) as an auto set. Both belong to the separate 2024-25 Panini Hoops Premium Box Set product and were deliberately EXCLUDED from parallels.csv and sets.csv per scope instructions." So unlike 2019-20 through 2023-24, the parent release for THIS season carries no "Premium Box Set" parallel row and no autograph set row at all - the boundary was drawn the other way, and this release is the only place either object exists as data. A resolver pass should note that the six seasons of this line are NOT consistent about which side holds them.
  • G-002 parallels.csv is written with its header and ZERO data rows, which is a finding and not an unfinished file (EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.3). VERIFIED FOR THIS SEASON RATHER THAN ASSUMED FROM THE PRIOR FIVE, AND THE EVIDENCE IS STRONGER THIS SEASON THAN LAST BECAUSE THE PRODUCT IS CATALOGUED. EVIDENCE FOR THE ABSENCE: https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/467815/2024-25-Hoops enumerates the parent set's complete inventory under the verbatim headings "Insert Sets (88)" and "Parallel Sets (53)". All 53 parallel entries were ENUMERATED in full, not counted from the heading, and the page was read twice under two distinct URLs (plain, and with ?sort=0 appended) so the second reading is not a 15-minute cache hit on the first; both readings returned the identical heading counts and both contain "Premium Box Set" (sid 539316) exactly once. The 53 entries are: Artist Proof (492480), Artist Proof Black (492613), Artist Proof Gold (493094), Blue (492615), Blue Explosion (492616), Blue Scope (492617), Dragon Year (492620), Green (492621), Green Explosion (492622), Green Scope (492623), Impulse (493097), Neon Green Flood (529319), Orange (492941), Orange Explosion (492942), Premium (492943), Premium Box Set (539316), Premium Prizms Blue (493286), Premium Prizms Checkerboard (493100), Premium Prizms Gold (493296), Premium Prizms Gold Vinyl (493298), Premium Prizms Green (493099), Premium Prizms Lazer Blue (493287), Premium Prizms Lazer Green (493290), Premium Prizms Lazer Red (493280), Premium Prizms Lime Green (493277), Premium Prizms Mojo (493291), Premium Prizms Nebula (493299), Premium Prizms Orange (493266), Premium Prizms Pulsar Blue (493281), Premium Prizms Pulsar Green (493292), Premium Prizms Pulsar Red (493267), Premium Prizms Purple (493265), Premium Prizms Red (493282), Premium Prizms Scope Blue (493283), Premium Prizms Scope Green (493293), Premium Prizms Scope Red (493289), Premium Prizms Silver (493098), Premium Prizms Wave Blue (493284), Premium Prizms Wave Green (493294), Purple (492671), Purple Explosion (493279), Red (493285), Red Backs (493235), Red Explosion (493295), Red Scope (493288), Silver (493268), Storm (493264), Teal (493276), Teal Explosion (493248), Texture (493249), White Explosion (493278), Yellow Checkerboard (493297), Yellow Flood (510956). NONE of them is a sub-parallel of the Premium Box Set - there is no "Premium Box Set Gold", no "Premium Box Set Holo" and no entry of any kind whose name begins "Premium Box Set ". The product's own catalogue page describes only the /199 base cards and the one /10 Tribute autograph and names no parallel of this product (https://www.checklistinsider.com/2024-25-nba-hoops-premium-box-set). checklistcenter likewise lists "Premium Box Set #/199" as a single flat parallel of the parent and gives it no sub-tier (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2024-25-panini-nba-hoops-basketball-card-checklist/). THE HONEST WEAKNESS: no source says in words "this box set has no parallels"; the absence is proved by enumerating what tcdb holds, which proves only that tcdb catalogues none. One contamination shape was investigated and nothing was written from it - see G-014.
  • G-003 EXTRACTION_SPEC 5.4 UNIT CHECK AT RELEASE LEVEL - THE TRAP THIS LINE HAS NOW SPRUNG IN ALL SIX SEASONS, AND THE GENERAL FORM base_set_size PLUS ONE HELD AGAIN. checklistinsider's box-breakdown block prints the label and value "Box Sets - 301 cards per box set", beside "Box Sets (on average) - 1 Autograph, Full Base Set", on the same page as "300 cards. /199.", "Full set per box." and "20 cards. /10." (https://www.checklistinsider.com/2024-25-nba-hoops-premium-box-set). THE UNIT IS NAMED OUTRIGHT INSIDE THE VALUE - "per box set" - as checklistcenter named it in 2022-23 with "301 Cards Per Box", so this season the trap is disarmed by the source itself rather than by arithmetic. 301 is CARDS PER SEALED BOX SET: the 300-card base set plus the one Hoops Tribute autograph. 301 is written into NO field. base_set_size is 300, sourced from tcdb Total Cards "300" (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/539316/2024-25-Hoops---Premium-Box-Set) and from checklistinsider's "300 cards.", and corroborated by counting 300 rendered rows and tiles one by one on tcdb sid 539316 and 300 enumerated rows on checklistinsider. RECORD OF HOW THIS TRAP HAS BEHAVED ACROSS THE LINE: 2019-20 = 305 and 303, and those two belonged to a DIFFERENT product (Premium Stock); 2020-21 = 271 beside "Full base set (270 cards)"; 2021-22 = 271 again, same page, same words; 2022-23 = 301 beside "300 cards", with checklistcenter naming the unit outright; 2023-24 = 301 beside "300 cards"; 2024-25 = 301 with the unit named outright. Six of six. NOTE the sibling line does the same thing in the same season: checklistinsider's 2024-25 Donruss Optic Premium Basketball Factory Set page prints "301-card factory set" (https://www.checklistinsider.com/2024-25-donruss-optic-premium-basketball-factory-set), which is the same unit on a different product and is recorded here only so a later Optic Premium build does not have to rediscover it.
  • G-004 "NBA HOOPS PREMIUM STOCK" IS A DIFFERENT, ONGOING RETAIL LINE AND NOTHING FROM IT IS MERGED HERE. THE SITUATION REVERSES 2023-24: this season no Premium Stock product appears anywhere in the sources consulted. https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/467815/2024-25-Hoops was enumerated in full twice under two distinct URLs and none of its 88 insert entries or 53 parallel entries is named "Premium Stock" or contains the word "Stock" (contrast 2023-24, where "Premium Stock" sid 399149 was one of the parent's 22 parallels). https://www.tcdb.com/ViewAll.cfm/sp/Basketball/year/2024 lists exactly three 2024-25 entries whose name contains "Hoops" - "2024-25 Hoops" (467815), "2024-25 Hoops Haunted Hoops" (550436) and "2024-25 Hoops Winter" (493104) - and no Premium Stock (contrast 2023-24, where "2023-24 Hoops Premium Stock" existed at sid 469854). checklistinsider's 2024-25 basketball index lists three Hoops products - the parent, this Premium Box Set, and Haunted Hoops - and no Premium Stock (https://www.checklistinsider.com/basketball-cards/2024-25-basketball-cards). NOTE the one place the two names touch this season is a marketplace title that welds them together - see G-014 - and nothing was written from it. reference/brands.csv still carries no row for a Premium Stock line; that escalation is already open as G-003 on hoopspremium-bkb-2019-20 and is NOT re-decided here. ABSENCE CAVEAT: EXTRACTION_SPEC and specs/2018-19_SCOPE_MEMO section 6 both warn that tcdb's cataloguing lags for 2024-25, so tcdb's silence about a Premium Stock product is recorded as an enumeration result and is NOT offered as proof that no such product shipped.
  • G-005 license_status IS A CATALOGUE CONVENTION, NOT A SOURCED VALUE, AND THIS RELEASE RECORDS IT AS ONE. The task prompt supplied "licensed (NBA)" as catalogue-wide and stated the settled finding that no source on any season of this product prints any licensing statement at all. THAT WAS RE-TESTED THIS SEASON RATHER THAN INHERITED: checklistinsider's product page was asked directly for any sentence stating a licence, the NBA or the NBPA and answered that none is present (https://www.checklistinsider.com/2024-25-nba-hoops-premium-box-set); tcdb sid 539316 and https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/467815/2024-25-Hoops print no licensing statement of any kind; checklistcenter's parent page prints none; Panini America's own product page for this product could not be read at all (see G-012). So the value rests on convention plus the structural columns, and the columns that actually gate the loader - licensed=yes, league=NBA - are unambiguous. This release writes "licensed (NBA)", which matches hoopspremium-bkb-2019-20 through -2023-24 byte for byte after their 2026-09-13 normalisation, and matches data/paninihoops-bkb-2024-25/release.csv byte for byte as well, so for the first time in this line's history the box set and its parent agree on this field. The per-season divergence recorded five times on this line is therefore NOT recorded again; it is recorded as resolved by convention rather than by evidence.
  • G-006 CHANNEL IS KNOWN AND SOURCED BUT HAS NOWHERE TO LIVE IN THE SCHEMA, so it is recorded here. checklistinsider: "The boxes were sold through the Panini website on February 17, 2025." (https://www.checklistinsider.com/2024-25-nba-hoops-premium-box-set). In the taxonomy of EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.3 that is channel=panini-direct with channel_basis=sourced-exclusive and, by the derived map, channel_class=promotion. release.csv has no channel column and parallels.csv has no rows, so NO machine-readable channel value exists anywhere in this release and a consumer filtering by channel will not find it. Identical disposition to hoopspremium-bkb-2020-21 G-007, -2021-22 G-006, -2022-23 G-006 and -2023-24 G-006 - the SIXTH consecutive season of this line where a fully sourced channel is unrepresentable. NOTE one difference from every prior season: the parent release for 2024-25 carries no "Premium Box Set" parallel row at all (G-001), so unlike 2023-24 there is no mirror-image row on the parent side for a repair pass to fill from this quote.
  • G-007 NO NON-INTEGER CARD NUMBER IS PRESENT THIS SEASON, AND THAT IS A CHECKED RESULT RATHER THAN AN UNCHECKED ONE. The line has sprung this trap twice: 2020-21's tcdb rendering carries "3b" with a "UER" flag and no card 98, and 2023-24's carries two rows numbered 209, the second "209b" with "UER", and no 208, with tcdb stating "Set contains two #209 due to a printing error on #208." THIS SEASON: every one of the 300 numbers 1 through 300 was observed exactly once, in order, with no suffixed, lettered, duplicated or unissued number, across seven enumerated Checklist asks and seven Gallery pages on tcdb sid 539316, and every number was also observed on checklistinsider. POSITIVE CONTROL FOR THE RENDERER, because "no suffix found" is worthless if the renderer never prints one: the same tcdb Checklist and Gallery endpoints DID render "209b" on this same product line one season earlier (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/388591/2023-24-Hoops?PageIndex=3), so a suffixed number would have been visible had one been present. SECOND CONTROL: checklistinsider was asked directly whether any card number in its base section is repeated or carries a letter suffix and answered that none is (https://www.checklistinsider.com/2024-25-nba-hoops-premium-box-set). Nothing was corrected and no dated correction marker is needed on any base row. RESIDUAL WEAKNESS, STATED RATHER THAN HIDDEN: both controls are about RENDERINGS. No source read in this pass states in words that the printed numbering is clean, and card images were not inspected.
  • G-008 rookie_flag RESTS ON THE PARENT SET FOR ITS TOKEN EVIDENCE AND ON THIS PRODUCT'S OWN SOURCE FOR ITS WORDS, WITH A POSITIVE CONTROL AND COMPLETE COVERAGE OF THE BOUNDARIES. THE PROBLEM: tcdb sid 539316, this product's own set, renders the flag token "SN199" on all 300 rows and tiles and renders NO "RC" token anywhere among them, including on cards 231-274 which are provably 2024 draftees. Silence from that renderer is therefore uninformative about rookie status and was not read as "not a rookie". POSITIVE CONTROL RUN ON THE PARENT INSTEAD: https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/467815/2024-25-Hoops?PageIndex=24 renders "RC" on all ten tiles 231-240, so the parent renderer does print the token. COVERAGE OF THE BOUNDARIES ON THE PARENT, number by number: https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/467815/2024-25-Hoops?PageIndex=3 renders 221-230 with flag NONE and 231-260 with "RC" on every row, so the lower boundary is observed on ONE page that carries the token, which is the strongest form of the test; https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/467815/2024-25-Hoops?PageIndex=27 renders 261-270 all "RC"; ?PageIndex=28 renders 271-280 all "RC"; ?PageIndex=29 renders 281-290 with the token "TRIB" and no "RC"; ?PageIndex=30 renders 291-300 with "TRIB" and no "RC". So both boundaries of the 231-280 block are positively observed. CORROBORATION FROM THIS PRODUCT'S OWN SOURCE: checklistinsider prints a "Rookies" sub-heading above card 231 in its Base Premium Box Set Checklist, annotates its rows "RC", and answered directly that the lowest RC number is 231 (Zaccharie Risacher), the highest is 280 (Bronny James Jr.), that card 230 does not carry RC and card 231 does, and that no card 281-300 carries RC (https://www.checklistinsider.com/2024-25-nba-hoops-premium-box-set). rookie_flag=yes is written for 231-280 and no elsewhere. data/paninihoops-bkb-2024-25/base_cards.csv independently records rookie_flag=yes for exactly 231-280 and no elsewhere, measured with csv.DictReader, zero disagreements across all 300 cards. KNOWN DISPUTE INHERITED, NOT RESOLVED: data/paninihoops-bkb-2024-25/gaps.csv G-009 flags that cards 291-295 (Sheppard, Salaun, Clingan, Knecht, Buzelis) are 2024 draft rookies carrying no RC marking in any source; this release makes the same call (rookie_flag=no) for the same reason and the question stays open on both sides.
  • G-009 card_tier IS WRITTEN ON 281-300 ONLY, ITS TOKEN COMES FROM THE PARENT AND ITS WORDS FROM THIS PRODUCT'S OWN SOURCE, AND IT DIVERGES FROM THE PARENT RELEASE FILE. This release writes card_tier="Hoops Tribute" on cards 281-300 and leaves it empty on 1-280. TOKEN BASIS: the parent set renders the literal flag token "TRIB" on exactly those 20 tiles and on no others - https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/467815/2024-25-Hoops?PageIndex=29 renders 281-290 with "TRIB" on all ten, and ?PageIndex=30 renders 291-300 with "TRIB" on all ten, while parent pages 24, 27 and 28 render "RC" and Checklist page 3 renders NONE on 221-230. NOTE THE TOKEN CHANGED BETWEEN SEASONS: 2023-24's parent rendered this block "HT", this one renders "TRIB". Both are recorded as literal strings only. NO GLOSS FROM THE FETCH LAYER WAS ACCEPTED FOR EITHER TOKEN (EXTRACTION_SPEC 3.4); the expansion to the words "Hoops Tribute" comes from this product's own source, which prints "Hoops Tribute" as a sub-heading above card 281 in its base checklist and heads its autograph section "Base Hoops Tribute Premium Box Set Autograph Checklist" (https://www.checklistinsider.com/2024-25-nba-hoops-premium-box-set), and from checklistcenter's heading "2024-25 Panini NBA Hoops - Base Hoops Tribute Premium Box Set Auto Set" (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2024-25-panini-nba-hoops-basketball-card-checklist/). DIVERGENCES RECORDED RATHER THAN SMOOTHED: (a) data/paninihoops-bkb-2024-25/base_cards.csv leaves card_tier EMPTY on all 300 rows including 281-300, although its release notes describe the same three segments in prose ("Base 1-230, Base Rookies 231-280 (RC), Base Hoops Tribute 281-300"); (b) the 231-280 rookie block gets no card_tier here, following hoopspremium-bkb-2019-20 G-009, -2020-21 G-010, -2021-22 G-007, -2022-23 G-007 and -2023-24 G-009, which all left their rookie block empty for the same reason - even though checklistinsider DOES print a "Rookies" sub-heading above card 231, so a uniform repair pass across the line could now fill it with a citation. The line's convention was not changed unilaterally mid-line. The base run is NOT treated as tiered for print-run purposes: it is uniformly /199, so base_print_run is the integer 199 and not varies-by-tier, and base_card_tiers.csv is correctly absent (EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.5).
  • G-010 THE AUTOGRAPH SET'S PRINT RUN IS SOURCED BUT UNWRITABLE, THE SET IS NOT CATALOGUED BY tcdb, AND ITS ROSTER IS A FULL COPY OF THE BASE TRIBUTE BLOCK THIS SEASON. (1) NOT CATALOGUED BY tcdb: https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/467815/2024-25-Hoops, read twice under two distinct URLs, contains no entry whose name includes "Tribute", "Autograph" or "Box Set" other than the base "Premium Box Set" (sid 539316) in either its "Insert Sets (88)" or its "Parallel Sets (53)" section, so there is no row-level reading and no header count for this set. 2019-20 (sid 218337) and 2021-22 (sid 296224) had dedicated sids; 2022-23, 2023-24 and 2024-25 do not. (2) card_count=20 is DISTINCT CARDS and rests on two aggregators that may be one opinion (EXTRACTION_SPEC 5.4): checklistinsider "20 cards. /10." and "Odds - 1 per box." (https://www.checklistinsider.com/2024-25-nba-hoops-premium-box-set), with its section rendering twenty rows numbered 281-300 counted item by item rather than taken from any stated total; checklistcenter "20 Cards - Serial Numbered #/10" (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2024-25-panini-nba-hoops-basketball-card-checklist/). (3) THE /10 SERIAL NUMBERING IS SOURCED AND UNCONTESTED THIS SEASON but sets.csv has no print_run column (EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.2), so it is written in no field and lives in sets.csv notes in words and here. This is the schema expressiveness gap EXTRACTION_SPEC 6 names, recurring for a sixth season on this line. Contrast 2022-23, where the numbering was genuinely CONTESTED (cardboardconnection "limited to 10 copies", Panini America "as low as /10", checklistcenter "#/20"). (4) EXTRACTION_SPEC 4.2 COPY CHECK FIRED AT 20 OF 20 AND IS EXPLAINED, NOT DELETED. The twenty autograph rows carry the same twenty players on the same twenty numbers as the base Hoops Tribute block 281-300: 281 Luka Doncic, 290 Zion Williamson, 300 Julius Erving on both sides. This was not inferred from one reading - checklistinsider was asked under a distinct URL to give both sections' contents at 281, 290 and 300 side by side and to state whether they list the same or different players, and it answered that they list the SAME twenty players with no differences. That is what the set is by construction: the signed printing of the Base Hoops Tribute subjects on their own numbers. BUT IT IS A REVERSAL OF 2023-24, where the same comparison found the two rosters genuinely DIFFERENT (base 281 Ja Morant against autograph 281 Amen Thompson) and four autograph signers appearing nowhere in the base block. Two adjacent seasons of one line, same set name, opposite structure - recorded rather than resolved, because no source read in this pass explains the change and a later card-level pass under CHASE_CHECKLIST_SPEC is the place to settle it. (5) data/paninihoops-bkb-2024-25/sets.csv does NOT carry this set at all (its G-005 records the deliberate exclusion), so unlike 2022-23 and 2023-24 there is no second file in this catalogue holding the same object.
  • G-011 release_date IS WRITTEN AS UNKNOWN, AND THIS IS THE CLOSEST CALL IN THE PASS - THE EVIDENCE SHAPE IS ONE EXTRACTION_SPEC DOES NOT COVER AND THAT IS REPORTED AS A SPEC DEFECT. The only source that states a date at all is checklistinsider, and it states the SAME date TWICE IN TWO DIFFERENT SHAPES on one page: (a) a structured product-details label and value, "Estimated Release Date: February 17, 2025", and (b) a past-tense prose sentence, "The boxes were sold through the Panini website on February 17, 2025." (https://www.checklistinsider.com/2024-25-nba-hoops-premium-box-set). Both strings were obtained on two separate fetches issued under two distinct cache-busted URLs and came back identical. EXTRACTION_SPEC 3.2 rules that a source labelling its own date an estimate has told you it does not know, and the task briefing repeated that instruction; shape (b) is NOT a forecast and the rule as written does not contemplate a page carrying both. WHAT WAS DONE ABOUT IT. Source calibration (EXTRACTION_SPEC 4.6) was run on a question that CAN be checked: checklistinsider's page for the PARENT product prints "Estimated Release Date: January 31, 2025" (https://www.checklistinsider.com/2024-25-nba-hoops-basketball), and this project's own already-gated data/paninihoops-bkb-2024-25/release.csv carries release_date 2025-01-31, established there from other sources. So on the one date this catalogue can check, checklistinsider's estimate field was exactly right. A template test was also run: the parent page carries NO sentence of shape (b) at all, and neither does checklistinsider's 2024-25 Donruss Optic Premium Basketball Factory Set page (https://www.checklistinsider.com/2024-25-donruss-optic-premium-basketball-factory-set), which carries only "Estimated Release Date: September 11, 2025" - so sentence (b) is not a site-wide boilerplate emitted for every Panini-direct box set. BOTH TESTS POINT TOWARD THE DATE BEING REAL. IT IS STILL WRITTEN AS UNKNOWN, for three reasons: the two statements are the same source and not corroboration of each other; the structured field on that very page declares itself an estimate, which is the source telling us its own confidence; and NO SECOND SOURCE STATES ANY DATE - cardboardconnection has no page for this product this season (three slug attempts, all 404: /2024-25-nba-hoops-premium-box-set-basketball-cards , /2024-25-panini-nba-hoops-premium-box-set-basketball-cards , /2024-25-panini-nba-hoops-premium-box-set-review-and-checklist), checklistcenter's product URL https://www.checklistcenter.com/2024-25-panini-nba-hoops-premium-box-set-basketball-card-checklist/ returns 404 and its parent page carries no box-set date, Panini America's own product page https://www.paniniamerica.net/2024-25-panini-hoops-nba-premium-box-set.html read-timed-out on two attempts under two distinct URLs, there is no Panini America blog launch post for this season (the search returns the 2022-23 post), and tcdb prints no date. 2025-02-17 therefore appears in NO field. A REPAIR PASS SHOULD PROMOTE IT ON ONE CORROBORATING SOURCE; this gap exists so that is a cheap change rather than a re-investigation. FOR THE RECORD ACROSS THE LINE: 2019-20 UNKNOWN, 2020-21 2021-03-09, 2021-22 2022-02-10, 2022-23 2023-02-02 (those three from two sources each, unqualified), 2023-24 UNKNOWN, 2024-25 UNKNOWN. Note the estimate is in pattern this time - the three known dates are February or March, and February 17 fits, unlike 2023-24's December 28 estimate which did not.
  • G-012 WHICH PARTS OF THIS RELEASE REST ON A SINGLE SOURCE - AND THIS SEASON THAT IS FAR LESS OF IT THAN IN 2023-24, WHICH IS A MARKED IMPROVEMENT AND THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT THE TASK BRIEFING PREDICTED. (a) SOURCES THAT EXIST THIS SEASON: tcdb catalogues the product as its own set, sid 539316, with a 300-row checklist, a Total Cards header, a set-level serial note and a per-row serial flag (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/539316/2024-25-Hoops---Premium-Box-Set); checklistinsider has a full dedicated product page with both checklists (https://www.checklistinsider.com/2024-25-nba-hoops-premium-box-set); checklistcenter carries both objects on the parent product page (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2024-25-panini-nba-hoops-basketball-card-checklist/). (b) SOURCES THAT HAVE GONE: cardboardconnection, which was the ONLY source for the whole of 2023-24, has no page for this product at all this season - three distinct slugs were tried and all 404 - although it does have a 2024-25 parent page. Panini America's product URL https://www.paniniamerica.net/2024-25-panini-hoops-nba-premium-box-set.html exists as a search result but read-timed-out on two attempts under two distinct URLs, exactly as it did in 2023-24, so the first-party manufacturer source is absent for a second season. beckett was not reachable in prior passes on this line and was not retried. (c) WHAT RESTS ON ONE SOURCE: the autograph set - its existence, its 20 cards, its /10 numbering and its roster - has no structural renderer at all and rests on checklistinsider and checklistcenter, two aggregators that may be one opinion (G-010). The release date rests on checklistinsider alone and was therefore not written (G-011). The channel rests on checklistinsider alone (G-006). (d) WHAT IS WELL CORROBORATED: the base checklist is the best-sourced thing here. The 300 numbers, players and teams were read from tcdb sid 539316 across seven enumerated Checklist asks and seven Gallery pages covering every one of the 300 numbers, AND from checklistinsider, AND compared by script against data/paninihoops-bkb-2024-25/base_cards.csv, which was itself built from checklistcenter and checklistinsider - see G-017 for why that makes the comparison meaningful this season. base_set_size, base_print_run and the /199 numbering each have a tcdb statement and an aggregator statement. (e) MARKETPLACE CORROBORATION, seen as search-result titles rather than fetched pages and therefore load-bearing for nothing: "2024-25 Panini NBA Hoops Premium Box Set /199 Julian Strawther #174" (https://www.ebay.com/itm/236098651143), "2024-25 Panini NBA Hoops Premium Box Set /199 Coby White #43" (https://www.ebay.com/itm/256957554498), "2024-25 Panini NBA Hoops Premium Box Set BAYLOR SCHEIERMAN #260 RC FOIL 71/199" (https://www.ebay.com/itm/256849488148), "Robert Williams III 2024-25 Hoops Premium Box Set /199 #78" (https://www.ebay.com/itm/167504453982), "2024-25 Panini NBA Hoops Pacome Dadiet Rookie #255 Premium Box Set #/199 Knicks" (https://www.ebay.de/itm/236011482666) and "/199 2024-25 NBA Hoops Premium Box Set #1-230 Complete Your Set U Pick Who Need" (https://www.ebay.com/itm/156740416402). All five card-number titles match this checklist at those numbers - 174 Julian Strawther, 43 Coby White, 260 Baylor Scheierman, 78 Robert Williams III, 255 Pacome Dadiet - all carry /199, one carries a real serial ("71/199"), the sixth corroborates that the veteran block runs 1-230, and the two carrying RC (260 and 255) fall inside the 231-280 rookie block, so the EXTRACTION_SPEC 4.3 temporal check passes on both (Baylor Scheierman and Pacome Dadiet were both 2024 draftees). Nothing was written from any of them.
  • G-013 ENDPOINT AND FETCH-LAYER MEASUREMENTS FROM THIS PASS, INCLUDING ONE FABRICATION SHAPE I HAVE NOT SEEN DOCUMENTED ON THIS PROJECT. (1) THE RENUMBERING FABRICATION. An enumerated ask to https://www.checklistinsider.com/2024-25-nba-hoops-premium-box-set for cards 261-280 returned a clean, internally consistent, plausible list - "261 Tyler Kolek", "262 Johnny Furphy" ... "277 Bronny James Jr.", with 278, 279 and 280 answered "not present". IT WAS WRONG BY A CONSTANT SHIFT OF THREE. Re-asked under a distinct URL for the printed number beside named players, the same page answered Tyler Kolek 264, Johnny Furphy 265, Adem Bona 271, Pacome Dadiet 255 and Bronny James Jr. 280 - which agrees exactly with tcdb sid 539316 and with data/paninihoops-bkb-2024-25/base_cards.csv. So the fetch dropped three rows (261-263: Jonathan Mogbo, Kyle Filipowski, Tyler Smith) and RENUMBERED the remainder sequentially to close the hole, producing output that passes every internal consistency check and is false. This is the aggregator-renumbering failure EXTRACTION_SPEC 3.3 attributes to SITES, appearing instead in the FETCH LAYER on a site that renders the numbers correctly. It was caught only because tcdb had been read first and disagreed. LESSON FOR THE SPEC: an enumerated ask is safer than an open-ended one but it is NOT safe - asking for "cards 261 to 280" invites the layer to emit twenty consecutively numbered lines whether or not they are the right twenty. Asking for the NUMBER BESIDE A NAMED PLAYER is the check that catches it, and it is cheap. (2) tcdb Checklist truncation on this sid: ?PageIndex=1 delivered 1-40, then 41-70, then 71-80 with 81-100 reported "not present" - so the page truncated at row 80 of 100, inside the documented 71-86 band. ?PageIndex=2 delivered 101-140 and 141-180, truncating at 80 again. ?PageIndex=3 delivered 201-240 and 241-274, truncating at 74. Measured total for full 300-number coverage: 7 Checklist asks over 6 URLs plus 7 Gallery pages = 14 fetches, against the briefing's predicted 3 plus about 9. The briefing's rule of about 3 Gallery pages per full Checklist page was close: 2 were needed for page 1, 2 for page 2 and 3 for page 3. (3) NO fetch refused on copyright grounds in this pass, and no 503 was returned on roughly 30 fetches at a concurrency of at most 2. (4) Cache-busting discipline: every second reading of a page was issued under a URL varied by a distinct harmless parameter, never as a repeat call to an identical URL. (5) EVERY Gallery page returned 10 of 10 tiles, counted item by item rather than from the fetch's own stated total. (6) An earlier observation in this project's notes that ?x=1 can trigger robots refusals did not recur here; checklistinsider tolerated ?ref= , ?v= and ?blk= variants, and tcdb tolerated ?sort=0 , ?sort=1 , ?sort=2 and ?sort=3.
  • G-014 CONTAMINATION SHAPE FOUR WAS TESTED FOR THIS SEASON, BOTH KNOWN 2024-25 INSTANCES ARE STILL LIVE, NOTHING WAS WRITTEN FROM THEM, AND THE TASK BRIEFING'S ACCOUNT OF THE STRUCTURAL PRECONDITION IS WRONG FOR THIS SEASON. THE BRIEFING SAID: "The parent carries both a base-scope Silver /199 and a base-scope Premium Box Set /199, which is what lets sellers produce true-sounding hybrids." MEASURED AGAINST THE REPO WITH csv.DictReader: data/paninihoops-bkb-2024-25/parallels.csv has 90 rows and NO row named "Premium Box Set" and no row whose name contains "Box" or "Stock" at all; it does carry a base-scope "Silver" at print_run 199. The parent release deliberately excluded the Premium Box Set row (its own G-005 says so). So on the PARENT FILE the precondition is only half present. It IS fully present on tcdb, where https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/467815/2024-25-Hoops lists both "Silver" (493268) and "Premium Box Set" (539316) among the parent set's 53 parallels, and both are /199 - "Serial numbered to 199" is the notes text beside each. The briefing's claim is therefore true of tcdb and false of this catalogue's own 2024-25 parent file, and the difference matters because a repair pass reading only the repo would not find the precondition. BOTH KNOWN 2024-25 CONTAMINATED TITLES ARE STILL LIVE, unchanged from what hoopspremium-bkb-2023-24 G-014 recorded: "2024-25 Panini NBA Hoops Premium Box Set Silver Foil VETS #/199 CHOOSE YOUR CARD" (https://www.ebay.com/itm/398072766815), which invents the tier word "Silver Foil"; and "2024-25 NBA Hoops Premium Box Set - PREMIUM STOCK FOIL /199! - Buy 3 Get 1 Free!" (https://www.ebay.com/itm/135574064517), which welds this product's name to the name of the separate Premium Stock retail line. NO PARALLEL ROW WAS WRITTEN FROM EITHER, and no "Silver", "Silver Foil", "Foil" or "Premium Stock" tier of this product appears in any field. A THIRD TITLE SHAPE WAS SEEN AND IS ALSO NOT A TIER: "2024-25 Panini NBA Hoops Premium Box Set BAYLOR SCHEIERMAN #260 RC FOIL 71/199" (https://www.ebay.com/itm/256849488148) uses the bare word "FOIL" descriptively, which is consistent with the product's own source calling the stock "premium foil stock" (https://www.checklistinsider.com/2024-25-nba-hoops-premium-box-set) - i.e. "foil" here describes the base card, not a parallel of it, which is precisely how the invented "Silver Foil" tier becomes plausible to a reader. NEGATIVE RESULT CAVEAT: absence in a search is weaker than absence in an enumeration, so this records "no further 2024-25 instance was found", not "none exists". parallels.csv stays at zero rows (G-002).
  • G-015 PRODUCT-NAME AND SET-NAME QUESTIONS (EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.1 and 5.1 - report, do not decide). product_name is written as "NBA Hoops Premium Box Set Basketball", which is what reference/brands.csv carries for line_prefix hoopspremium (brd_01M2B8M6BJKF4BVCZ1A77FRZ27) and what hoopspremium-bkb-2019-20 through -2023-24 all carry, byte for byte; the build script asserts the byte-identity against brands.csv before writing and the assertion passes. NO BRAND-IDENTITY ESCALATION IS NEEDED. THE SOURCES AGREE ON THE IDENTITY THIS SEASON AND THERE ARE THREE OF THEM, where 2023-24 had one: checklistinsider's page title is "2024-25 NBA Hoops Premium Box Set Basketball Checklist, Boxes" and its first heading is "2024-25 NBA Hoops Premium Box Set Basketball Checklist Guide" (https://www.checklistinsider.com/2024-25-nba-hoops-premium-box-set); tcdb names the set "2024-25 Hoops - Premium Box Set" (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/539316/2024-25-Hoops---Premium-Box-Set), the same hyphenated parent-plus-tier form it used for "2022-23 Hoops - Premium Box Set"; checklistcenter prints "Premium Box Set #/199" and "2024-25 Panini NBA Hoops - Base Hoops Tribute Premium Box Set Auto Set" (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2024-25-panini-nba-hoops-basketball-card-checklist/). A SET-NAME DIVERGENCE IS RECORDED RATHER THAN RECONCILED: this release writes the autograph set as "Base Hoops Tribute Premium Box Set Autograph", which is checklistinsider's section heading minus the trailing word "Checklist" (the heading names the section, and the sibling heading "Base Premium Box Set Checklist" names the base set the same way), and which matches the form data/paninihoops-bkb-2024-25/gaps.csv G-005 independently rendered from the same two aggregators. The line has now used four names for one recurring object: "Premium Box Set Autographs" (2019-20, 2020-21), "Hoops Tribute Premium Box Set Autographs" (2021-22, 2022-23), "Base Hoops Tribute Premium Box Set Autographs" (2023-24) and "Base Hoops Tribute Premium Box Set Autograph" (2024-25, singular). Each was taken from what that season's source printed. That is a resolver problem, not a brand problem, and it is recorded here rather than smoothed over. Also not written: checklistcenter's variant "Base Hoops Tribute Premium Box Set Auto Set" appears in no field.
  • G-016 No pack odds and no scarcity tier are recorded for either set. This is a sealed complete factory box set with fixed contents sold as a single unit on the Panini website, not a pack product - checklistinsider prints "Full set per box." for the base set and "Odds - 1 per box." for the autograph (https://www.checklistinsider.com/2024-25-nba-hoops-premium-box-set) - so per-set pack odds do not exist in the ordinary sense. "1 per box" is a guaranteed box content, not an insertion ratio, and was deliberately NOT written into stated_odds, because that field means pack odds and a guarantee written there is indistinguishable from a ratio. stated_odds, odds_evidence_url, odds_evidence_quote and scarcity_tier are therefore empty on both sets.csv rows. Same disposition as hoopspremium-bkb-2019-20 G-012, -2020-21 G-013, -2021-22 G-012, -2022-23 G-016 and -2023-24 G-016.
  • G-017 THE EXTRACTION_SPEC 4.2 COPY CHECK FIRED AT 298 OF 300 ON BOTH MEASURES AND IS EXPLAINED, NOT DELETED - AND THIS SEASON THE COMPARISON IS WORTH SOMETHING, WHICH 2023-24'S WAS NOT. This base set IS the main 2024-25 Panini NBA Hoops base set, repackaged on premium foil stock and serial numbered to 199; a source says so in words (G-001). The signal is therefore expected and the right response is to ask what the comparison is actually made of. THE 2023-24 PROBLEM: that build measured 300/300 against data/paninihoops-bkb-2023-24/base_cards.csv and said so honestly - both sides traced to cardboardconnection, so a perfect score was what the comparison should produce whether or not the page was right, and it amounted to comparing a source with itself. THIS SEASON THAT DEFECT IS ABSENT. data/paninihoops-bkb-2024-25/base_cards.csv was built from checklistcenter and cardsmithsbreaks with checklistinsider (its own gaps G-006 and G-007 name those sources and it does not cite tcdb for the base run). This release's base_cards.csv was transcribed from tcdb sid 539316, a set this project had not read before, on a renderer that is structurally independent of all three. So the 298/300 is a genuine tcdb-against-aggregator agreement, not a page agreeing with itself. THE TWO NON-MATCHES ARE DIACRITICS AND NOTHING ELSE: #266 tcdb "Juan Nunez" with acute and tilde against parent "Juan Nunez" plain, and #273 tcdb "Nikola Durisic" with a barred D and two carons against parent "Nikola Durisic" plain. Zero card numbers appear on one side only; team_or_school is identical on all 300 rows; no player is at a different number on the two sides. See G-020 for which spelling was written and why. A SECOND, WEAKER INDEPENDENT CHECK: checklistinsider's own 300-row base section was sampled at 231-260, 261-280 and 281-300 and agrees with tcdb on every number checked once the fetch-layer renumbering artefact described in G-013 was corrected for. A THIRD: six marketplace titles carry a card number, a player and /199 and all six match this checklist (G-012). WHAT THE COMPARISON IS STILL NOT WORTH: it is an agreement between catalogues about what the PARENT product contains, extended to this product on the strength of a prose statement that this product reproduces the parent checklist. No source read in this pass enumerates the box set's own 300 cards independently of that relationship except tcdb sid 539316, which is itself filed as a parallel of the parent and may well have been populated from it.
  • G-018 tcdb Inserts.cfm NOTES-COLUMN SHAPE MEASURED ON THIS PARENT, WITH A ROW-LEVEL PROBE IN BOTH DIRECTIONS THAT THE COLUMN FAILS - AND TWO FETCHES OF THE SAME PAGE DISAGREED ABOUT WHETHER THE COLUMN EXISTS AT ALL. Nothing in this release is written from this column; the /199 figure comes from tcdb's set-level note on sid 539316 and from its per-row SN199 flags. This is recorded because EXTRACTION_SPEC's list of measured shapes is built from observations like it. (1) TWO READINGS DISAGREE ABOUT THE COLUMN'S EXISTENCE. Asked about https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/467815/2024-25-Hoops plainly, the fetch answered "There is no 'Notes' column on this page." Asked about https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/467815/2024-25-Hoops?sort=0 it answered that a description column exists and quoted its cells. Asked about ?sort=3 it enumerated fifteen blank-celled parallel entries and quoted seven cells. So the column DOES exist and carries print runs, and one of three readings denied it outright. (2) THE PARALLEL SETS SECTION LOOKS LIKE THE Prizm SHAPE - a split between annotated and blank rows - and the annotated side CALIBRATES PERFECTLY against this project's own already-gated data/paninihoops-bkb-2024-25/parallels.csv: tcdb "Serial numbered to 175" beside Teal against our 175; "Serial numbered to 299" beside Storm against our 299; "Serial numbered to 25" beside Artist Proof against our 25; "Serial numbered to 199" beside Silver against our 199; "Serial numbered to 10" beside Premium Prizms Gold against our Gold Premium Prizms 10. Five for five. (3) THE BLANK SIDE FAILS THE PROBE IN THE NEGATIVE DIRECTION, WHICH IS THE DIRECTION THAT MATTERS. Of the fifteen entries reported blank, eleven correspond to rows our parent file carries as unnumbered - Blue, Impulse, Red Backs, Texture, Premium, Purple, Premium Prizms Checkerboard, Premium Prizms Green, Premium Prizms Silver and Teal Explosion among them - but TWO DO NOT: "Orange" is blank on tcdb while our parent file carries Orange at print_run 149, and "Artist Proof Gold" is blank on tcdb while our parent file carries it at print_run 10. So a blank cell in THIS section is NOT a statement that the tier is unnumbered, and writing "unnumbered" off blankness here would have been FALSE on at least two tiers. This is the Obsidian failure mode mixed into a page that otherwise looks like the Prizm split, and it is a shape the spec's list of six does not quite contain. CAVEAT ON THE REFUTATION: the two counter-examples come from our parent file, which sourced them from checklistinsider and checklistcenter, so this is a tcdb-against-aggregator disagreement rather than a within-tcdb probe; either the blank cells are incomplete or those two print runs are wrong. Both readings cannot be right, and nothing in this release depends on which. (4) One further inconsistency: the ?sort=0 reading quoted a notes cell for "Premium" ("Cards have Chromium-style finish similar to past Hoops Premium Stock sets.") while the ?sort=3 reading listed "Premium" among the entries with no notes text at all. Per-cell readings of this page are therefore not reproducible across fetches, which is a stronger warning than the spec currently carries.
  • G-019 DOES THIS LINE REALLY END AT 2024-25, AND HOW STRONG IS THE EVIDENCE. THE ANSWER IS ALMOST CERTAINLY YES, AND THE EVIDENCE IS STRUCTURAL RATHER THAN A STATEMENT OF DISCONTINUATION. specs/2018-19_SCOPE_MEMO section 6 asserts "Last basketball season per line: ... NBA Hoops Premium Box Set 2024-25" and lists zero missing releases for 2025-26. THAT CLAIM WAS TESTED IN THIS PASS AND IT HOLDS, for a reason the memo does not give: THE BRAND CHANGED HANDS. checklistinsider's 2025-26 page is headed "2025-26 Topps NBA Hoops Basketball Checklist Guide" and states "Previously falling under the Panini banner for many years, Topps takes the reins of the well-known series after acquiring the exclusive NBA trading card license." (https://www.checklistinsider.com/2025-26-topps-nba-hoops-basketball), and its 2025-26 basketball index lists exactly one Hoops product, that one, with no Premium Box Set (https://www.checklistinsider.com/basketball-cards/2025-26-basketball-cards). This project's own already-gated data/paninihoops-bkb-2024-25/release.csv independently records "Final licensed NBA season for Panini (NBA license ended 2025-09-30)". https://www.tcdb.com/ViewAll.cfm/sp/Basketball/year/2025 lists exactly one basketball set whose name contains "Hoops" - "2025-26 Hoops" (sid 615262) - and no Premium Box Set of any Hoops season. A Premium Box Set product name DOES still exist on that page, "2025 Panini Prizm Premium WNBA Box Set", which shows the FORMAT survived at Panini in another sport and is not itself evidence about this line. HOW STRONG THIS IS, HONESTLY: the Premium Box Set was a Panini-Direct product sold on Panini's own website, so a manufacturer change is a strong structural reason for the line to end, and it is corroborated by two independent statements about the licence. But no source read in this pass says "the NBA Hoops Premium Box Set is discontinued", and the negatives are absences from indexes, one of which (tcdb) the scope memo itself says must not be used as evidence for 2024-25 or 2025-26. If Topps ships a Hoops box set under its own licence it would be a NEW line under a new manufacturer, not a continuation of this brand row, and that decision is not made here. NO line_coverage-style row is written asserting the line ends, because this release exists and the question is about the FOLLOWING season, which is outside this release's scope; it is recorded here so the memo's claim has a tested citation behind it.
  • G-020 PLAYER-NAME SPELLINGS DIVERGE FROM THE PARENT RELEASE ON EXACTLY TWO CARDS, AND THE DIVERGENCE IS DIACRITICS ONLY. This release writes #266 with the accented form and #273 with the barred-D and caron form, because that is what its primary structural source renders: tcdb sid 539316 renders them that way on BOTH the Checklist page 3 reading and the Gallery page 28 reading, two distinct URLs. data/paninihoops-bkb-2024-25/base_cards.csv renders both names in plain ASCII, as does checklistinsider. So the split is one structural source against two aggregators, and this release follows its own source rather than the majority, per the rule that names are what sources print. THE COST IS STATED: a resolver matching on exact player_name will not match these two rows across the two releases that describe the SAME physical cards (G-001), and they are the only reason the overlap reads 298/300 rather than 300/300. data/paninihoops-bkb-2024-25/gaps.csv G-008 already flags #273 from the other side, saying the source spelling "likely differs from the printed card" and that the player is commonly rendered with a J. A NORMALISATION PASS SHOULD DECIDE THIS ONCE FOR THE CATALOGUE rather than per release; nothing here should be edited in isolation, and the decision is not made here. Note also #272, where both sides print "KJ Simpson Jr." and the parent's G-008 records that the player is commonly "KJ Simpson" - that one agrees across the two files and is not part of this divergence.
  • G-021 A tcdb GALLERY PAGE RETURNED DIFFERENT FLAG TOKENS ON TWO READINGS OF THE SAME URL FAMILY, AND THE SECOND READING IS THE ONE THAT WAS USED. On https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/467815/2024-25-Hoops?PageIndex=30 the first reading returned the token "TRIB" on tiles 291-296 and "NONE" on tiles 297, 298, 299 and 300, and volunteered that no "RC" appears on the page. Re-asked under ?PageIndex=30&sort=0 with the four cards named individually, the same page answered "TRIB" on all of 296, 297, 298, 299 and 300 and stated that all ten tiles carry it. The second reading is consistent with ?PageIndex=29, where all ten tiles 281-290 carry "TRIB", and with both aggregators placing the Hoops Tribute block at 281-300, so it was used and card_tier is written on all twenty cards 281-300 (G-009). WHAT THIS MEASURES: it is not the documented dropped-tile failure - the tile count was 10 both times - it is a SILENTLY DROPPED FLAG COLUMN on four of ten tiles, which reads exactly like evidenced absence. Had the first reading been taken alone, this release would have written card_tier on sixteen cards instead of twenty and would have had a plausible-looking reason for it. RECORDED BECAUSE EXTRACTION_SPEC 3.4 warns that the fetch layer invents glosses for flag tokens and that Gallery can drop a tile, but does not warn that Gallery can drop a token while keeping the tile. A separate instance in the same pass: an ask at https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/539316/2024-25-Hoops---Premium-Box-Set?PageIndex=29&sort=0 answered that the page shows only "Front Placeholder" and "Back Placeholder" images and carries no tokens at all, while the plain ?PageIndex=29 reading of the same page returned "SN199" on all ten tiles - the same defect in the other direction. Neither reading was allowed to stand alone: the /199 numbering is written from tcdb's set-level note "Serial numbered to 199" (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/539316/2024-25-Hoops---Premium-Box-Set) and from the Checklist endpoint's per-row tokens, not from Gallery. A THIRD INSTANCE, ON ViewSet: a confirmation read of the set under a different (unvalidated) slug, https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/539316/2024-25-Hoops-Premium , returned the set name, Total Cards "300" and the note "Serial numbered to 199" identically to the canonical-slug read, but answered "not present" for the flag token on the row for card 1, where the canonical read and two Checklist reads all return "SN199". Three endpoints, three different ways of losing a flag token from a page that demonstrably carries it. The three readings agree on every value this release actually writes.
