Box-set reissue: the base checklist is identical, card for card, to 2021-22 Optic — the same 200 cards printed on premium stock and sold as a complete set.
Base set parallels · not documented
No base-set parallel has a row in the catalogue yet. That is not a claim that none exist — this release's open questions record what is known about its parallels and why it is not yet expressible as a row.

- G-001 SHARED BASE CHECKLIST / BASE-CARD IDENTITY COLLISION between TWO releases, per EXTRACTION_SPEC 5.2. This release (opticpremium-bkb-2021-22) and data/optic-bkb-2021-22 describe THE SAME 200 physical base card slots. THE OVERLAP NUMBER IS 200 OF 200. Measured, not estimated: the 200 rows were read individually off tcdb sid 328671 (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/328671/2021-22-Donruss-Optic-Premium?PageIndex=1, https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/328671/2021-22-Donruss-Optic-Premium?PageIndex=2, Gallery pages 8, 9, 10, 18, 19, 20) and then diffed positionally against data/optic-bkb-2021-22/base_cards.csv - 200 of 200 card numbers, 200 of 200 player names and 200 of 200 team names match, with zero differences on any field, and the rookie split is the same 150 no / 50 yes. The Premium Box Set is therefore the FULL parent base run on premium stock, not a subset or a re-selection, and the 201 in "201-card factory set" is 200 base + 1 autograph, not 201 base slots. The repackaging is stated in words by three separate sources: cardboardconnection "Showcasing premium card stock, 2021-22 Donruss Optic Premium Box Set Basketball takes the full base checklist from 2021-22 Donruss Optic Basketball." (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2021-22-donruss-optic-premium-box-set-basketball-cards); Panini's own product blog "The Premium Box Set set comes with the complete 200 base card set all numbered to 249!" (https://blog.paniniamerica.net/available-tomorrow-10-7-2021-22-donruss-optic-nba-basketball-premium-box-set-online-exclusive/); a retailer "2021-22 Donruss Optic Premium Box Set Basketball puts the main Donruss Optic NBA series on exclusive card stock and adds one rookie autograph per box." (https://www.schkstore.com/products/2021-22-donruss-optic-premium-basketball-box-set - wording close enough to cardboardconnection's that it may be derivative). tcdb catalogues it as a PARALLEL of the Optic base rather than as a set of its own (subset sid 328671 under the 2021-22 Donruss Optic parent sid 318896, https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/328671/2021-22-Donruss-Optic-Premium), and checklistcenter lists it on the parent Optic page under "Premium Box Set Parallels" as the single line "Premium Box Set #/249" (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2021-22-donruss-optic-basketball-card-checklist/). THIS IS THE THIRD CONSECUTIVE SEASON OF THIS LINE TO MEASURE A COMPLETE OVERLAP: opticpremium-bkb-2019-20 G-001 recorded 200 of 200 and opticpremium-bkb-2020-21 G-001 recorded 200 of 200. Built here as instructed and NOT deduplicated and NOT double-counted; the duplication is deliberate and must be resolved at catalogue level, not by deleting either file. ONE FIELD DOES DIFFER BETWEEN THE TWO RELEASE ROWS AND IT IS NOT AN ERROR: data/optic-bkb-2021-22 carries base_print_run=unnumbered / basis assumed, this release carries 249 / sourced, because the parent's base cards are not serial numbered and this printing's are (tcdb flags every row of sid 328671 "SN249" and no row of the parent base).
- G-002 TWO DIFFERENT QUANTITIES ON THIS PRODUCT ARE BOTH 249 AND THEY ARE IN DIFFERENT UNITS (EXTRACTION_SPEC 5.4). This is the third season of this line to spring the same trap and the first in which the MANUFACTURER puts both units in ONE SENTENCE. (a) PER-CARD SERIAL RUN = 249, which is what base_print_run records: cardboardconnection "Numbered to 249 copies per card, the box set has all 200 subjects including the 50 Rated Rookie cards." and "Serial numbered #/249." (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2021-22-donruss-optic-premium-box-set-basketball-cards); Panini "The Premium Box Set set comes with the complete 200 base card set all numbered to 249!" (https://blog.paniniamerica.net/available-tomorrow-10-7-2021-22-donruss-optic-nba-basketball-premium-box-set-online-exclusive/); checklistcenter "200 Cards - Serial Numbered #/249 - Full Set Per Box" (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2021-22-donruss-optic-premium-box-set-basketball-card-checklist/) and "Premium Box Set #/249" (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2021-22-donruss-optic-basketball-card-checklist/); tcdb Set Info "Sold as factory set; serial numbered to 249" plus the per-row flag "SN249" on all 200 base rows (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/328671/2021-22-Donruss-Optic-Premium). (b) NUMBER OF SETS/BOXES PRODUCED = 249, a DIFFERENT unit: Panini's own blog, "This beautiful set was printed to a limited run of 249, and includes 200 base cards - all numbered to 249." (https://blog.paniniamerica.net/available-tomorrow-10-7-2021-22-donruss-optic-nba-basketball-premium-box-set-online-exclusive/) - the first clause counts SETS PRINTED, the second counts COPIES PER CARD, and they are the same numeral. Quantity (b) is NOT written in any CSV column - there is no column for it - and was NOT used to derive (a); (a) stands on the per-card sentences alone. Recorded because the coincidence makes the release row look self-confirming when it is not: a later reader must not take the set count as corroboration of the per-card run, nor the reverse. For comparison: opticpremium-bkb-2020-21 G-002 recorded the same coincidence with the box count stated by cardboardconnection and cardlines ("limited to just 249 boxes"), and opticpremium-bkb-2019-20 G-002 recorded the set count as UNKNOWN for its season. No source fetched this season states a BOX count in the words "boxes"; the only set-count statement found is Panini's "a limited run of 249".
- G-003 release_date 2022-10-07 and how independent its three sources are. (a) cardboardconnection prints "Release Date: October 7, 2022" (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2021-22-donruss-optic-premium-box-set-basketball-cards), labelled Release Date and not Estimated Release Date. (b) checklistcenter prints "October 7, 2022" (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2021-22-donruss-optic-premium-box-set-basketball-card-checklist/). (c) THE MANUFACTURER'S OWN blog, dated October 06, 2022 and titled "AVAILABLE TOMORROW (10/7)!! 2021-22 Donruss Optic NBA Basketball Premium Box Set | ONLINE EXCLUSIVE", states the sale opens "Friday, October 7th at 11am (CST) via Dutch Auction at the Panini Direct Store" (https://blog.paniniamerica.net/available-tomorrow-10-7-2021-22-donruss-optic-nba-basketball-premium-box-set-online-exclusive/). (a) and (b) are known to copy one another (EXTRACTION_SPEC 5.4) and may be one opinion; (c) is genuinely independent of them and is the primary source, which makes this date better evidenced than either prior season of this line (2019-20 rested on one estimate, 2020-21 on two possibly-dependent aggregators). NOTE the date is the day the sale OPENED, which for a Dutch auction is not necessarily the day every box shipped; tcdb carries no release date for the subset and Beckett was not fetched.
- G-004 parallels.csv is deliberately EMPTY (header only, zero data rows), per EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.3. No parallel OF THE PREMIUM BOX SET BASE RUN was found on any source, and the absence is evidenced rather than unresolved. (a) On tcdb the product's base run is a single subset, sid 328671 "2021-22 Donruss Optic - Premium" (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/328671/2021-22-Donruss-Optic-Premium), and the sids immediately around it were individually enumerated by fetching ViewSet.cfm on each: 328666 "2021-22 Donruss Optic - Fast Break Pink", 328667 "Fast Break Gold", 328668 "Fast Break Black", 328669 "Fanatics Box Set Prizms", 328670 "Premium Stock", 328671 "Premium", 328672 "Green Pulsar", 328673 "Purple Pulsar", and 328674 which is NOT a Donruss Optic set at all but "2008 Press Pass Elvis by the Numbers - Portraits Silver" - so the Optic sid run ends at 328673 and no "Premium <colour>" subset exists anywhere in the window 328666-328673. (b) checklistcenter renders the COMPLETE base-set parallel inventory for 2021-22 Donruss Optic in one list (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2021-22-donruss-optic-basketball-card-checklist/) - 25 main parallels, 5 Choice, 7 Fast Break - and gives the three box sets one line each: "Fanatics Box Set Parallels: Fanatic Box Set", "Target Box Set Parallels: Target Box Set", "Premium Box Set Parallels: Premium Box Set #/249". The Premium tier has no colour children on that list. (c) cardboardconnection's product page carries no parallel list at all (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2021-22-donruss-optic-premium-box-set-basketball-cards). (d) Panini's own blog describes the box contents as "one complete premium box set, and one exclusive rated rookie signature #'d/10" and names no colour tier (https://blog.paniniamerica.net/available-tomorrow-10-7-2021-22-donruss-optic-nba-basketball-premium-box-set-online-exclusive/). Both prior seasons of this line reached the same result (opticpremium-bkb-2019-20 G-004, opticpremium-bkb-2020-21 G-004). CAVEAT ON THE STANDARD OF EVIDENCE, stated so it is not overclaimed: the 2020-21 pass established its absence by individually enumerating the sixteen unnumbered base-parallel sids 281722-281737. This pass enumerated only the eight-sid window 328666-328673 plus the boundary at 328674, and relies on checklistcenter's rendered inventory for the rest, BECAUSE tcdb's own full set inventory at https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/318896/2021-22-Donruss-Optic could not be read end to end - the fetch layer truncates that page inside the Insert Sets section (last content delivered was a half-written URL for "Winner Stays") and never reaches the Parallel Sets heading, exactly as recorded for the 2020-21 Optic parent. So (a) rests on an enumerated window, not on one rendered list.
- G-005 The autograph set's card numbers duplicate base card numbers WITHIN this release. Rated Rookies Signatures Premium Box Set renders 25 rows at numbers 151, 152, 153, 155, 159, 161, 162, 167, 168, 169, 173, 175, 178, 179, 181, 182, 183, 184, 185, 186, 188, 190, 192, 198 and 200 (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/328884/2021-22-Donruss-Optic-Rated-Rookies-Signatures-Premium-Box-Set, header "Total Cards: 25", every row flagged "AU, SN10"). Every one of those 25 numbers is also a base card number 1-200 in this release's base_cards.csv. Any card-number-keyed join across this release's sets will collide unless it is also keyed by set. Same shape as opticpremium-bkb-2019-20 G-007 and opticpremium-bkb-2020-21 G-005. Flagged now because the card-level autograph checklist belongs to a later pass (CHASE_CHECKLIST_SPEC).
- G-006 Structural divergence between our release-level model and every source, unchanged from both prior seasons. Neither tcdb nor checklistcenter treats this product as a release of its own: tcdb has NO parent sid for it - the product exists only as two subsets of the 2021-22 Donruss Optic parent sid 318896 (base sid 328671 https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/328671/2021-22-Donruss-Optic-Premium, autograph sid 328884 https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/328884/2021-22-Donruss-Optic-Rated-Rookies-Signatures-Premium-Box-Set) - and checklistcenter files the base run as one line inside the parent Optic checklist page (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2021-22-donruss-optic-basketball-card-checklist/) even though it ALSO publishes a dedicated Premium Box Set checklist page (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2021-22-donruss-optic-premium-box-set-basketball-card-checklist/). cardboardconnection, Panini's own blog and retailers give it a page of its own. Everything structural in this release therefore comes from a source that considers it part of another product; no independent product-level STRUCTURAL source exists. Difference from 2020-21: the dedicated checklistcenter page did not exist for the earlier seasons, so this season does have a second card-level source even though it has no second product-level structural source.
- G-008 rookie_flag basis is tcdb's "RR" token, NOT an "RC" designation, AND THIS PASS CHECKED EXACTLY WHAT TOKEN THE PAGES PRINT, as the task asked. WHAT IS PRINTED: on tcdb sid 328671 every row of the 151-200 block carries the literal flag string "RR, SN249" and every row of 1-150 carries "SN249" alone - read off https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/328671/2021-22-Donruss-Optic-Premium?PageIndex=2 for 151-170 and https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/328671/2021-22-Donruss-Optic-Premium?PageIndex=18, PageIndex 19 and https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/328671/2021-22-Donruss-Optic-Premium?PageIndex=20 for 171-200. The literal string "RC" appears on NO row of this set. checklistcenter's dedicated page renders a sub-heading "Rated Rookie" immediately before card 151 and prints no per-row token at all (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2021-22-donruss-optic-premium-box-set-basketball-card-checklist/). So on the two card-level sources for this release the designation is "RR" / "Rated Rookie" and never "RC". rookie_flag=yes was written for 151-200 and no for 1-150 on that basis, which also matches what data/optic-bkb-2021-22/base_cards.csv carries for the identical checklist (150 no, 50 yes). IF EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.4 MEANS "RC" STRICTLY, all 200 rows here should be UNKNOWN and at least five releases need the same correction (this one, optic-bkb-2021-22, opticpremium-bkb-2020-21 per its G-008, opticpremium-bkb-2019-20 per its G-010, optic-bkb-2019-20). Two further facts for whoever settles this. (i) Free-text marketplace titles for the SAME card numbers do print RC alongside RR - "2021-22 Donruss Optic Blue Velocity #161 Cade Cunningham RR RC" (https://www.ebay.de/itm/187788165006) and "2021-22 Panini Donruss Optic - Rated Rookie Evan Mobley #175 Choice Dragon Prizm (RC)" (https://www.ebay.com/p/11056536311) - but those are seller free text about the PARENT product's parallels, not a designation printed by a source of record for this set, and they were not used. (ii) "RR" is recorded here as a LITERAL TOKEN and deliberately not glossed: see G-015(c) for the fetch layer inventing two different expansions of it on this very set.
- G-009 base_set_size is written as 200 while the most quotable headline figure on both the dedicated product page and the manufacturer's own blog is 201: cardboardconnection "Product Configuration: 201-card factory set" (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2021-22-donruss-optic-premium-box-set-basketball-cards) and Panini "The 2021-22 Panini Donruss Optic NBA Trading Card Premium Box Set contains 201 cards per box!" (https://blog.paniniamerica.net/available-tomorrow-10-7-2021-22-donruss-optic-nba-basketball-premium-box-set-online-exclusive/); checklistcenter heads its page "201 Cards Per Box" (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2021-22-donruss-optic-premium-box-set-basketball-card-checklist/). 200 was written because every one of those three sources decomposes its own 201 into 200 + 1 - cardboardconnection into "Full base set (200 cards)" plus "1 Rated Rookie Autograph", Panini into "one complete premium box set, and one exclusive rated rookie signature #'d/10" alongside "a 200-card base set, consisting of 150 Base and 50 Rated Rookies", checklistcenter into "200 Cards - Serial Numbered #/249 - Full Set Per Box" plus "25 Cards - Serial Numbered #/10 - 1 Per Box Set" - because tcdb's subset header reads "Total Cards: 200" and its Gallery ends at card 200 on page 20 of 20 with no page 21, and because EXTRACTION_SPEC 5.3 requires the autograph block to be excluded. Flagged because any later source quoting "201 cards" will look like a coverage hole against this file and is not one. Same call as both prior seasons (opticpremium-bkb-2019-20 G-011, opticpremium-bkb-2020-21 G-009).
- G-010 NAME DRIFT - WHAT THIS SEASON'S SOURCES ACTUALLY PRINT, recorded rather than decided (EXTRACTION_SPEC 5.1). product_name was written as "Donruss Optic Premium Box Set Basketball" to match reference/brands.csv byte for byte. THE 2021-22 SOURCES: (a) cardboardconnection H1 "2021-22 Donruss Optic Premium Box Set Basketball Cards Checklist" and in body "2021-22 Donruss Optic Premium Box Set Basketball" (https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2021-22-donruss-optic-premium-box-set-basketball-cards). (b) THE MANUFACTURER: Panini's own blog title "AVAILABLE TOMORROW (10/7)!! 2021-22 Donruss Optic NBA Basketball Premium Box Set | ONLINE EXCLUSIVE" and in body "The 2021-22 Panini Donruss Optic NBA Trading Card Premium Box Set" (https://blog.paniniamerica.net/available-tomorrow-10-7-2021-22-donruss-optic-nba-basketball-premium-box-set-online-exclusive/) - Premium Box Set, with the words in a different order and with 'Panini' and 'NBA Trading Card' inserted. (c) checklistcenter H1 "2021-22 Donruss Optic Premium Box Set - Basketball Card Checklist" (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2021-22-donruss-optic-premium-box-set-basketball-card-checklist/) and the parent-page line "Premium Box Set #/249" (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2021-22-donruss-optic-basketball-card-checklist/). (d) A retailer titles it "2021-22 Donruss Optic Premium Basketball Box Set" - a third word order - while its body text says "Premium Box Set" (https://www.schkstore.com/products/2021-22-donruss-optic-premium-basketball-box-set). (e) NEW AND THE MOST IMPORTANT FINDING FOR THIS QUESTION: tcdb, which for 2017-18 through 2020-21 named the set "<season> Donruss Optic - Premium Box Set", names the 2021-22 one simply "2021-22 Donruss Optic - Premium" - page title "2021-22 Donruss Optic - Premium Basketball Checklist | Trading Card Database" (https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/328671/2021-22-Donruss-Optic-Premium), and the canonical slug is .../2021-22-Donruss-Optic-Premium with the wrong-slug form 404ing. tcdb DROPS "Box Set" entirely this season, and it simultaneously uses "Premium Stock" for the Target set. NO source fetched for 2021-22 uses "Factory Set" in the product's NAME. This neither confirms nor refutes the concurrent-names picture recorded in opticpremium-bkb-2020-21 G-010 (a major retailer already titling the 2020-21 product "...Basketball Factory Set Hobby Premium (Box) /249" at https://www.dacardworld.com/sports-cards/2020-21-panini-donruss-optic-basketball-hobby-premium-box-set; checklistinsider titling 2023-24 and 2024-25 "Donruss Optic Premium Basketball Factory Set" at https://www.checklistinsider.com/2023-24-donruss-optic-premium-basketball-factory-set; Beckett still titling 2024-25 "Donruss Optic Basketball Premium Box Set" at https://www.beckett.com/news/2024-25-donruss-optic-basketball-premium-box-set/); it ADDS a third variant, tcdb's bare "Premium", and it shows that in 2021-22 the manufacturer itself was still saying Premium Box Set. Raised, not decided.
- G-011 LINE SPAN - additional evidence, and it moves the start of the line one season further back than opticpremium-bkb-2020-21 G-011 recorded. That gap noted tcdb's "2017-18 Donruss Optic - Premium Box Set" at sid 171625 (https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/171625/2017-18-Donruss-Optic---Premium-Box-Set). This pass also surfaced "2018-19 Donruss Optic - Premium Box Set" at sid 197339 (https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/197339/2018-19-Donruss-Optic---Premium-Box-Set). So tcdb carries the line for 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22 continuously, while data/ contains opticpremium releases only from 2019-20. BOTH the 2017-18 and 2018-19 pages were surfaced as indexed page titles via search and NEITHER was fetched in this pass; nothing about either season was written anywhere. Recorded so a backfill pass knows the line predates the catalogue's earliest release by two seasons, not one.
- G-012 CONTRADICTION AGAINST EXISTING DATA, and it now runs across three seasons of the sibling Optic line. data/optic-bkb-2019-20/parallels.csv carries a row for the Premium Box Set as a base parallel of the parent product (par_01M19N6THK40T9E6FQ52MB2D5R, "Premium Box Set Base", print_run 249). data/optic-bkb-2020-21/parallels.csv carries no equivalent row (recorded as opticpremium-bkb-2020-21 G-012). data/optic-bkb-2021-22/parallels.csv likewise carries NO Premium row - verified this pass: its 37 base-set-scope parallel names are Black, Black Velocity, Blue, Blue Pulsar, Blue Velocity, Checkerboard, Choice Black Gold, Choice Dragon, Choice Nebula, Choice Red, Choice Red & Green, Fast Break Black/Blue/Gold/Holo/Pink/Purple/Red, Gold, Gold Pulsar, Gold Vinyl, Gold Wave, Green, Green Shock, Holo, Lime Green, Lucky Envelopes, Orange, Photon, Pink, Pink Velocity, Purple, Purple Stars FOTL, Red, Red Pulsar, Red Wave and White Sparkle, and none is Premium, Fanatics or Target. That release records the decision deliberately in its own gaps G-015 ("they belong to separate SKUs ... They are excluded from parallels.csv for this hobby/retail release") and G-024. So the identical real-world object is a parallel row in 2019-20 and a deliberate omission in 2020-21 and 2021-22, and tcdb and checklistcenter catalogue it the same way in all three seasons. Nothing outside this release directory was touched. Recorded for a repair pass to settle one convention; whichever way it goes it interacts with G-001, since the object is simultaneously this release's whole base set.
- G-013 license_status was NOT specified in the task prompt, which EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.1 says is where it comes from. "licensed (NBA/NBPA)" was written to match both prior seasons of this line (data/opticpremium-bkb-2019-20 and data/opticpremium-bkb-2020-21). That DISAGREES with the same-season sibling data/optic-bkb-2021-22, which carries "licensed (NBA)" for what is physically the same base checklist - the identical disagreement recorded at opticpremium-bkb-2020-21 G-013, now confirmed to repeat in 2021-22. Both are live values per the spec; no source was fetched that states either wording, so this is a catalogue-convention choice, not an evidenced one, and it is flagged rather than silently picked. licensed=yes and league=NBA were given in the task prompt and are unaffected.
- G-014 Single-source, possibly-dependent and unresolved items, listed so they are not mistaken for settled values. (a) CARD-LEVEL SOURCING IS BETTER THIS SEASON THAN IN EITHER PRIOR ONE. The 200-row roster was read off tcdb sid 328671, and checklistcenter publishes a dedicated card-by-card Premium Box Set checklist of its own (https://www.checklistcenter.com/2021-22-donruss-optic-premium-box-set-basketball-card-checklist/) which agrees with tcdb on all 26 rows sampled (1-5, 95-105, 148-162, 196-200). Only 26 of 200 rows were cross-checked; the other 174 rest on tcdb alone. (b) The autograph set's 25 card numbers rest on tcdb sid 328884 alone; no other source publishes them. (c) scarcity_tier for the autograph set is UNKNOWN - no source states a tier - and its stated_odds "1 per box" rests on cardboardconnection's "Every box set contains one random card from the 25-card Rated Rookie Signature Premium Box Set lineup.", corroborated by Panini's "Look for one complete premium box set, and one exclusive rated rookie signature #'d/10!" and checklistcenter's "1 Per Box Set". (d) The autograph set's NAME differs between sources: tcdb "Rated Rookies Signatures Premium Box Set" (written here), cardboardconnection "Rated Rookie Signature Premium Box Set" (both words singular). Whether "Premium Box Set" is printed on the card or is a cataloguer's qualifier was not established. (e) The base cards' FINISH was not resolved and is written nowhere: cardboardconnection says only "Showcasing premium card stock" and, elsewhere on the page, calls the cards "Scope Prizm"; the 2020-21 page called that season's finish "an exclusive Kaleidoscope finish". No finish name was written. (f) cardboardconnection and checklistcenter are known to copy each other (EXTRACTION_SPEC 5.4) and Beckett was not fetched, so where both are cited they MAY BE ONE OPINION; the genuinely independent corroboration on this release is Panini's own product blog plus tcdb's per-row SN249 flags. (g) The retailer page https://www.schkstore.com/products/2021-22-donruss-optic-premium-basketball-box-set states the repackaging in wording close to cardboardconnection's and may be derivative of it; it was used only as a name variant and a supporting quote, never as sole support for any value. (h) No marketplace listing for a PREMIUM BOX SET card was fetched this pass; the two eBay titles quoted at G-008 are for the parent product's parallels at the same card numbers and corroborate the numbering only.
- G-015 METHOD AND SPEC NOTES recorded for reproducibility, since two of them change the documented fetch plan and one is a live fabrication hazard. (a) EXTRACTION_SPEC 3.2's corrected claim that Checklist.cfm VALIDATES its slug is CONFIRMED on this season: https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/328671/zzz-not-a-real-slug returned "404 - Page Not Found" / "The page you attempted to view does not exist.", while the canonical slug on the same sid rendered normally. ViewSet.cfm/sid/<N>/x rendered correctly on every sid probed and was the only tool usable for discovering the unknown sid. (b) THE TRUNCATION BUDGET IS CONFIRMED AND WAS MEASURED AGAIN. Checklist.cfm?PageIndex=1 delivered rows 1-74 and cut off mid-row at card 75 (the fetch reported "The content received ends mid-row at card 75"); PageIndex=2 delivered through card 170 on a bounded 35-row ask. Bounded ~30-40-row asks succeeded every time; no whole-page ask was made. The workable budget for this 200-card run was 4 bounded Checklist asks plus 6 Gallery pages (8, 9, 10 for 76-100 and 18, 19, 20 for 171-200) = 10 fetches, matching the spec's "10 for 200" rather than any 10:1 claim. (c) THE FETCH LAYER INVENTED GLOSSES FOR THE "RR" TOKEN, TWICE, ON THIS SET, EXACTLY AS EXTRACTION_SPEC 3.3 WARNS. Asked for the flag tokens on Gallery PageIndex=18 it appended "indicating 'Rookie Recollection' status"; asked the identical question on PageIndex=19 it appended "indicating they are Rookie Reviver cards". Neither phrase appears on tcdb and the two contradict each other. Only the literal token "RR" was recorded. This is a concrete, same-pass reproduction of a documented defect and is worth keeping. (d) tcdb's Inserts.cfm for this parent (https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/318896/2021-22-Donruss-Optic) is truncated by the fetch layer inside the Insert Sets section - the last content delivered was a half-written URL for "Winner Stays" - and never reaches the Parallel Sets heading, so the spec's "Inserts.cfm is your sets.csv backbone" does not hold for base parallels on a parent this size, for the second season running. sid discovery was done by probing ViewSet.cfm across a sid range instead. (e) A tcdb sid range is NOT safely contiguous per product: sid 328674, one past the last 2021-22 Optic parallel, is "2008 Press Pass Elvis by the Numbers - Portraits Silver". Probing upward past a boundary gives a confidently-rendered page from an unrelated product, which would read as a real result to anyone not checking the season in the title.
