  • G-001 base_set_size=100 EXCLUDES the parent-checklist block at 101-140, every row of which carries tcdb flags "AU, MEM, RC, SN99" and which is a 40-card signed-jersey rookie set (EXTRACTION_SPEC 5.3 exclusion rule). THE BLOCK WAS SIZED OFF THE LAST RENDERED PAGE, NEVER OFF THE HEADER, AND THE HEADER IS WRONG THIS SEASON: the parent states Total Cards "139" while the block genuinely runs to 140. https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/421833/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable?PageIndex=2 was read in two enumerated 20-row asks covering every number from 101 to 140, the second ask answered "No cards numbered higher than 140 appear on this page", and https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/421833/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable?PageIndex=3 renders no checklist rows at all, which EXTRACTION_SPEC 3.2 identifies as the genuine end of a set on this endpoint. The discrepancy is explained in G-012: the parent omits card 129. THE STREAK IS NOW FIVE FOR FIVE AND WAS CHECKED INDEPENDENTLY BEFORE ANY SIBLING RELEASE WAS CONSULTED: 2019-20 ran to 180 with two 40-card blocks; 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24 each carry one 40-card block at 101-140. CONVENTION DIVERGENCE INSIDE THIS CATALOGUE, re-measured against the repo this pass: contenders-bkb-2019-20 base_set_size=165 and contenders-bkb-2021-22 base_set_size=165 both INCLUDE their 101-165 autographs, while contenders-bkb-2020-21, contenders-bkb-2022-23, contenders-bkb-2023-24, contendersoptic-bkb-2019-20, contendersoptic-bkb-2020-21 and all four Impeccable seasons EXCLUDE. contenders-bkb-2023-24 - the SAME SEASON as this release - excludes, so this release agrees with its same-season sibling as well as with its own line. Nothing in a release row tells a consumer which convention it is under. • G-002 base_print_run=99 with basis=sourced, VERIFIED FROM THIS SEASON'S OWN PAGES AND NOT CARRIED ACROSS. Two sources state it in words: checklistcenter "100 Cards - Serial Numbered #/99" and checklistinsider "100 cards. /99.". tcdb independently renders the flag "SN99" on the base rows - read on cards 1-25 and 51-70 through https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/421833/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable?PageIndex=1, on cards 26, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 through a narrowed re-ask of the same page, on the parent page's own first ten rows, and on the Gallery tiles for cards 71-100, where the tile text reads "SN99". EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.1 is explicit that a serial FLAG alone is only assumed-grade evidence and that sourced requires a source saying so in words; both conditions are met. THE FIGURE HAS NOW BEEN 99 IN ALL FIVE SEASONS OF THIS LINE - stated as a measured agreement, not as the reason for the value. CAVEAT ON SOURCE INDEPENDENCE: checklistcenter and checklistinsider are both aggregators of the kind EXTRACTION_SPEC 5.4 warns copy each other, so the two word-statements may be one opinion; the tcdb per-row flag is the genuinely independent leg. • G-003 rookie_flag IS UNKNOWN ON ALL 100 BASE CARDS, RE-DERIVED FROM THIS SEASON'S OWN EVIDENCE. tcdb prints no (RC) token on any row 1-100 of the parent checklist while printing "RC" as part of "AU, MEM, RC, SN99" on every one of rows 101-140 of the SAME parent checklist - so the renderer is demonstrably capable of the token and is not emitting it on the base run. But the 2023 draft class sits INSIDE the base run and is SCATTERED THROUGH THE WHOLE OF IT, so writing "no" would be false and "yes" is shown by no source. The 2023 first-year players in the base run are 2 Jordan Walsh, 6 Nick Smith Jr., 8 Scoot Henderson, 10 Kris Murray, 13 Andre Jackson Jr., 18 Anthony Black, 24 Jarace Walker, 27 Julian Phillips, 30 Jordan Hawkins, 31 Jalen Hood-Schifino, 32 Ausar Thompson, 33 Amen Thompson, 40 Gradey Dick, 43 Kobe Brown, 47 Taylor Hendricks, 48 Hunter Tyson, 49 Marcus Sasser, 50 Olivier-Maxence Prosper, 51 Bilal Coulibaly, 54 Leonard Miller, 55 Jett Howard, 56 Colby Jones, 58 Brice Sensabaugh, 63 Amari Bailey, 64 Noah Clowney, 65 Maxwell Lewis, 66 Cam Whitmore, 67 Dereck Lively II, 70 Brandin Podziemski, 79 Keyonte George, 80 Julian Strawther, 81 Ben Sheppard, 83 Victor Wembanyama, 85 Kobe Bufkin, 88 GG Jackson II, 90 Cason Wallace, 91 Jaime Jaquez Jr. and 98 Dariq Whitehead. THE STRUCTURE MATCHES 2022-23 AND NOT 2020-21 OR 2021-22: this is the second consecutive season in which the class is scattered rather than gathered in a contiguous 81-100 tail block, so the 2022-23 break is now confirmed as the line's new shape rather than a one-season anomaly. A FURTHER STRUCTURAL FACT THIS SEASON, WHICH ALSO ARGUES AGAINST "no": the same players appear AGAIN in the 101-140 block, where tcdb DOES print RC - e.g. Jordan Walsh is base card 2 and block card 125, Kris Murray is base card 10 and block card 111, Andre Jackson Jr. is base card 13 and block card 123. Which of the two carries the RC designation is not something any fetched source states per card. The same VALUE as the four prior seasons, reached from this season's own facts. TO RESOLVE: a source that prints an RC designation per card for this release. • G-004 TEN BASE-SET PARALLELS, EACH WITH ITS OWN TCDB SUBSET SID, AND THE BOUNDARIES OF THE SID RANGE WERE PROVED IN BOTH DIRECTIONS. Inserts.cfm on this parent TRUNCATES BEFORE THE "Parallel Sets" HEADING - the documented large-parent failure (EXTRACTION_SPEC 3.2) - so the tiers were enumerated with ViewSet.cfm instead: 461752 Gold, 461753 Green, 461754 Holo Gold, 461755 Holo Silver, 461756 International, 461757 International Red, 461758 International Red and Gold, 461759 Platinum, 461760 Purple, 461761 Silver. The ten names are in exact alphabetical order and the range is contiguous. LOWER BOUNDARY: sid 461751 renders "1993 Milwaukee Brewers Police", a different product. UPPER BOUNDARY: sid 461762 is the first entry of the parent's Insert Sets list. A HEADER COUNT WAS NOT USED TO SIZE THIS LADDER, per EXTRACTION_SPEC 3.2. PURPLE IS NEW THIS SEASON at #/5 and appears in no prior Impeccable season. The line now reads: 2019-20 base parallels had sids, 2020-21 and 2021-22 did not, 2022-23 and 2023-24 do. • G-005 CROSS-SEASON STRUCTURE CHECKED FOR TEMPLATE-FILL (EXTRACTION_SPEC 4.5) AND FOUND GENUINELY DIFFERENT. NO FIGURE WAS CARRIED ACROSS FROM AN ADJACENT SEASON; every one was read off this season's pages before the siblings were consulted. (a) THE BASE LADDER MOVED AGAIN AND GREW: Green runs #/35 (2021-22), #/30 (2022-23), #/35 here - it moved back; Holo Silver runs #/25, #/35, #/25, #/20, #/25 across the five seasons; Gold runs #/49, #/60, #/49, #/49, #/49; Silver #/75, Holo Gold #/10 and Platinum 1/1 are stable across all five; Purple #/5 is entirely new. A template-fill from 2022-23 would have written Green 30 and Holo Silver 20 and would have had no Purple row at all. (b) THE ASIA TIERS WERE RENAMED International - see G-016 - and International Red moved from #/8 (unchanged) while the Silver-logo regional tiers moved from Asia #/6 to International #/8 and the Silver-logo FOTL tiers from a split #/7 and #/8 to a uniform #/6. (c) SET INVENTORY MOVED: this season ADDS Impeccable All Time Signatures, Impeccable Championship, Impeccable Draft Pick, Impeccable Game Day Logoman, Impeccable Jersey Number, Impeccable Milestones, Impeccable Rookie Logoman, Impeccable Rookie Seasons, Impeccable Stats, Elegance Rookie Logoman Autographs and Silver NBA Logo Autographs FOTL, and DROPS Impeccable Rookie Seasons Signatures' 2022-23 siblings Canvas Creations (unsigned) and Silver Dual NBA 75th Annivesary Logo. (d) THE STRUCTURE THAT DID REPEAT WAS CHECKED, NOT ASSUMED: a 100-card base run at #/99 with one 40-card AU/MEM/RC block at 101-140. (e) A REAL STRUCTURAL BREAK: 182 subset sids here (10 parallels + 172 inserts) against 137 in 2022-23, driven by eighteen prior-season blocks with their parallels and by a much larger insert lineup. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/421833/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable ; https://www.checklistcenter.com/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball-card-checklist/ ; https://www.checklistinsider.com/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball
  • G-006 THE TIER THAT THIS LINE LOST TWICE AND WROTE unnumbered ONCE IS WRITTEN unnumbered AGAIN, ON THE STRONGEST FORM OF THE PROBE, AND ITS NAME HAS CHANGED FROM Asia TO International. WHICH FORM OF THE PROBE WAS AVAILABLE THIS SEASON, STATED EXPLICITLY AS EXTRACTION_SPEC 6 REQUIRES: tcdb catalogues the base-scope tier ITSELF as sid 461756 "2023-24 Panini Impeccable - International", Total Cards "140", so the WITHIN-SID test was available and was run. It is the same form 2022-23 got, and NOT the set-scope-analogue substitute that 2020-21 and 2021-22 were forced onto (they had no base-parallel sid at all, probed "Rookie Autographs Asia", found "AU, SN88" on every row, and correctly removed their base row because unnumbered would have been positively FALSE). THE THREE CONTROLS. (a) WITHIN-SID: sid 461756 renders NO serial token on any sampled row of cards 1-100 while rendering "AU, MEM, SN88" on every sampled row of cards 101-140 - the same cataloguer, the same set, the same page-set, entering serials on 40 rows and none on 100. Sampled at cards 1-12 via ViewSet.cfm and at cards 12, 28, 44, 57 and 63 via Checklist.cfm?PageIndex=1 with a cache-busting parameter; the direct question "is there any row at all whose text contains SN" was answered no. (b) SAME-SCOPE SIBLINGS, SAME ASK: all nine other base parallels returned a uniform token through the IDENTICAL ViewSet.cfm first-rows ask - Silver "SN75", Gold "SN49", Green "SN35", Purple "SN5", Holo Silver "SN25", Holo Gold "SN10", Platinum "SN1", International Red "SN8", International Red and Gold "SN1" - which rules out a fetch-layer artifact of that ask shape. (c) SAME NAME ELSEWHERE IN THIS RELEASE: "Rookie Autographs International" (sid 461898) renders "SN88" and "SN48", and Silver Draft Logo International, Silver HOF Logo International and Silver NBA Logo International each render "SN8" - so the renderer emits International serials wherever they apply and these 100 rows are the exception. NO SOURCE CONTRADICTS, AND ONE CORROBORATES BY OMISSION: checklistinsider's base ladder lists the tier as the bare item "International" while giving every other tier a figure, and steelcitycollectibles' International box page names "Base International, Base International Red (#'d/8), and One-of-One Base International Red and Gold" - naming runs for the two siblings and none for this one. EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.1 is clear that absence of a figure is not a statement of fact, so that is corroboration and not the basis. THE COMPETING HYPOTHESIS IS STATED AND REJECTED: that tcdb has simply not entered serials for those 100 rows. It is rejected because partial data entry would not normally populate 40 rows of one subset and leave the other 100 blank, and because International tiers elsewhere in this product are populated. It is NOT disproven, and that is why this gap exists. TO OVERTURN: a marketplace card of a base-scope 2023-24 Impeccable International parallel showing a serial, or a source stating the tier's run. The underlying schema problem EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.3 describes - no way to say "serial numbered, run unknown" - is untouched and will lose the next such row. • G-007 CARDBOARDCONNECTION COULD NOT BE CALIBRATED ON THIS RELEASE BECAUSE IT DOES NOT COVER IT, AND THAT IS A DIFFERENT ANSWER FROM EITHER THE BRIEFING'S OR THE SIBLING SEASON'S. The task briefing asked that cardboardconnection be tested against tcdb per-row tokens rather than accepted or rejected on report; impeccable-bkb-2022-23 ran that test and recorded 27 of 28 correct (its G-007), and impeccable-bkb-2021-22 recorded four failure modes (its G-004). NEITHER APPLIES HERE: the site has no 2023-24 Panini Impeccable Basketball page. Two URL patterns were fetched and both returned HTTP 404 - https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball-cards (the pattern that serves its 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2022-23 Impeccable pages) and https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball-set-review-and-checklist (the pattern that serves its 2023-24 Flawless and Immaculate pages) - and a site-restricted web search returned its Impeccable pages for 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2022-23 and none for 2023-24. Its own search endpoint is disallowed by robots.txt. NO VALUE IN THIS RELEASE RESTS ON CARDBOARDCONNECTION. WHAT WAS CALIBRATED INSTEAD, on the same method: checklistinsider was tested against tcdb per-row tokens on the base ladder and scored 10 of 10 - its "Silver /75, Gold /49, Green /35, Holo Silver /25, Holo Gold /10, International Red /8, Purple /5, International Red & Gold 1/1, and Platinum 1/1" matches "SN75", "SN49", "SN35", "SN25", "SN10", "SN8", "SN5", "SN1", "SN1", and it gives International no figure where tcdb renders no token; plus "100 cards. /99." against "SN99" on the base rows, for 11 of 11. checklistcenter scored 6 of 6 on the same questions. steelcitycollectibles was tested on four FOTL figures and scored 4 of 4 - "Silver NBA Logo FOTL #'d/6", "Silver Draft Logo FOTL #'d/6", "Silver HOF Logo FOTL #'d/6" against tcdb "SN6" on sids 461912, 461903 and 461907, and "Elegance Rookie Jerseys Autographs FOTL #'d/5" against "AU, MEM, SN5" on sid 461844. THE ONE KNOWN CARDBOARDCONNECTION FAILURE MODE THE BRIEFING NAMED - a single PARALLEL CARDS line reused across sets whose figures differ - HAS NO ANALOGUE HERE because no source in this pass printed a shared parallel line across sets; the three Silver logo FOTL tiers, which diverged in 2022-23, are uniformly "SN6" this season and steelcitycollectibles states all three separately and correctly. On card COUNTS checklistcenter is much weaker than on print runs - see G-013. Evidence: https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball-cards ; https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball-set-review-and-checklist ; https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2022-23-panini-impeccable-basketball-nba-cards ; https://www.checklistinsider.com/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball ; https://www.checklistcenter.com/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball-card-checklist/ ; https://www.steelcitycollectibles.com/i/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball-hobby-box---1st-off-the-line-(fotl) ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461903/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461907/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461912/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461844/x
  • G-008 EIGHTEEN PRIOR-SEASON AND CROSS-PRODUCT BLOCKS ARE FILED UNDER THIS PARENT (EXTRACTION_SPEC 5.5), AND THE SIBLING SEASON'S PREDICTION IS CONFIRMED. impeccable-bkb-2022-23 G-008 predicted that a 2022-23 Update block would appear under the 2023-24 parent. IT DOES, TEN TIMES: tcdb files "2022-23 Panini Impeccable Update I: Canvas Creations Signatures" (sid 461792, Total Cards 3), "...: Elegance Retired Jersey Autographs" (461798, 1), "...: Elegance Veteran Jersey Autographs" (461802, 2), "...: Extravagance Autographs" (461806, 5), "...: Illustrious Ink" (461812, 3), "...: Impeccable Draft Pick Autographs" (461816, header states 28 - see the caveat below), "...: Impeccable Jersey Number Autographs" (461817, 1), "...: Impeccable Stars Signatures" (461788, 3) and "...: Indelible Ink" (461822, 6), plus "...: Watercolor Signatures" (461826, 6). THE MIRROR RUNS DEEPER THAN ANY PRIOR SEASON MEASURED: this parent ALSO carries FOUR 2021-22 Update II blocks - Elegance Veteran Jersey Autographs (461776, 1), Extravagance Autographs (461780, 1), Impeccable Selections Signatures (461784, 1), Impeccable Stars Signatures (461818, 1) - TWO 2020-21 Update II blocks - Impeccable Stars Signatures (461768, 1), Impeccable Victory Signatures (461772, 1) - and TWO cross-product 2020-21 Panini blocks that are not Impeccable at all: "2020-21 Panini - Award-Winning Autographs" (461762, 2) and "2020-21 Panini - Spectra Hall of Fame Signatures" (461765, 1). So this parent carries material from FOUR earlier seasons, two of them via an "Update II" designation this project has not previously recorded. TWO 2023-24-dated cross-product blocks are also present: "2023-24 Panini Calligraphy Signatures" (461832, 9) and "2023-24 Panini Private Signings" (461833, 9). THEY ARE NOT WRITTEN TO sets.csv, ON THE TASK PROMPT'S EXPLICIT INSTRUCTION, AND THAT DIVERGES FROM ALL FOUR PRIOR SEASONS OF THIS LINE AND FROM EXTRACTION_SPEC 5.5. impeccable-bkb-2020-21 carries ten such rows in sets.csv, impeccable-bkb-2021-22 seven, impeccable-bkb-2022-23 twelve, and EXTRACTION_SPEC 5.5 says "List the set if a source does, but flag it". The task prompt for this release says they are out of scope for sets.csv and must be enumerated in a gap. The instruction is followed and the divergence is recorded here with every name, sid and count so the decision can be reversed for the cost of one edit. [CORRECTED 2026-09-13: the orchestrator reversed that instruction after this pass reported the divergence, and the blocks ARE now written to sets.csv, which goes from 36 rows to 56. ALL TWENTY ARE LISTED AND NONE IS EXCLUDED, under the impeccable-bkb-2022-23 convention: the ten 2022-23 Update I blocks, the four 2021-22 Update II, the two 2020-21 Update II, the two non-Impeccable 2020-21 Panini blocks and the two same-season 2023-24 cross-product blocks. THE TWO NON-IMPECCABLE 2020-21 BLOCKS WERE THE CLOSEST CALL AND PRECEDENT DECIDED IT: impeccable-bkb-2021-22 lists the identical case as its own rows "2020-21 Award-Winning Autographs" (3 cards, sid 312209) and "2020-21 Spectra Hall of Fame Signatures" (12 cards, sid 312231), so cross-product prior-season blocks are already listed in this line. THE TWO 2023-24 CROSS-PRODUCT BLOCKS ARE A DIFFERENT CASE AND ARE MARKED AS ONE: Calligraphy Signatures and Private Signings are same-season blocks from other Panini products, carrying "CAL-" and "PS-" prefixes that belong to no Impeccable set here, and neither aggregator lists them under Impeccable; they are listed because EXTRACTION_SPEC 5.5 says to list and flag, and their notes say plainly that they are not Impeccable sets so a consumer can exclude them. EXTRACTION_SPEC 5.1 does not forbid any of this - it governs release-level product_name and brands.csv uniqueness, and a subset row mints no brand. Every set_name is recorded verbatim as tcdb prints the subset portion; set_type is auto on all twenty; card_count is the tcdb header. Nothing in this enumeration was removed. THE ONLY THING STILL EXCLUDED IS THE 52 PARALLEL SUBSETS OF THESE BLOCKS, which remain out of parallels.csv for the reason gaps G-023 gives, matching all three prior seasons.] CAVEAT ON ONE COUNT: the 461816 fetch returned "Total Cards: 28" while also saying the checklist details were unavailable; 28 is exactly the size of the full 2022-23 Impeccable Draft Pick Autographs set, so that figure is not trusted and is quoted here only as what the page returned. CODE COLLISION RISK: these blocks reuse card-code prefixes that 2023-24 sets in this same release also use - Update I Indelible Ink and this season's Indelible Ink both use "IDI-", Update I Impeccable Stars Signatures and this season's both use "ISS-", Update I Watercolor Signatures and this season's both use "WCS-" - and must never be merged in the CHASE_CHECKLIST_SPEC pass. • G-009 NO PANINI BLOCKCHAIN DIGITAL SETS EXIST UNDER THIS PARENT, CHECKED EXPLICITLY, AND THE RESULT IS RECORDED EITHER WAY. The parent's subset sids run 461752-461933 inclusive (182 sids: 10 base parallels and the 172 entries the Inserts.cfm header counts), with both boundaries proved by probe - 461751 is a 1993 Milwaukee Brewers Police set and 461934 a 1996 Green Bay Packers Police set. Not one name begins with "BC ", the prefix those sets carry. This continues the state of the two prior seasons: impeccable-bkb-2020-21 found 18 such sets across 48 sids and excluded them; 2021-22 and 2022-23 found none; this season finds none. Recorded so a later digital pass knows this season was looked at and had none, rather than assuming it was skipped. • G-010 license_status WAS NOT SUPPLIED BY THE TASK PROMPT and is not independently sourced. The prompt fixed product_name, season, manufacturer and league only. "licensed (NBA/NBPA)" is carried forward from the four prior seasons of this line, on the basis that the product is an NBA-team-licensed set with on-card player autographs; no page fetched in this pass states a licence in words. licensed=yes and league=NBA are supported by every base row carrying an NBA team, and league=NBA was given by the task prompt. This is the same unresolved item impeccable-bkb-2021-22 recorded as its G-019 and impeccable-bkb-2022-23 as its G-010, and it is unchanged. • G-011 CHANNEL IS UNSOURCED ON 70 OF 82 PARALLEL ROWS, AND THIS SEASON 12 ROWS CARRY A REAL CITATION - A MATERIAL IMPROVEMENT ON EVERY PRIOR SEASON OF THIS LINE. 58 of the unsourced rows carry channel=hobby with channel_basis=from-note, taken from the product configuration only: checklistcenter "Configuration: 9 Cards Per Pack; 1 Pack Per Box; 3 Boxes Per Case" and checklistinsider "Hobby boxes contain 9 cards per pack (1 pack per box), FOTL boxes have 10 cards, and Hobby International boxes contain 5 cards per pack". from-note explicitly means NO real citation exists; do not promote to sourced-* without new evidence. The other 12 unsourced rows are International-scope tiers whose channel is taken from the tcdb subset name (from-name). This matches impeccable-bkb-2022-23 (57 of 81), impeccable-bkb-2021-22 (59 of 68), impeccable-bkb-2020-21 (61 of 70) and impeccable-bkb-2019-20 (all 53). THE 12 SOURCED ROWS: 8 International-scope rows and 4 FOTL rows carry sourced-exclusive from two steelcitycollectibles box pages that name the tiers as exclusives - the International box page states "Base International, Base International Red (#'d/8), and One-of-One Base International Red and Gold" and "International-exclusive Stainless Stars parallels International Red and International Red and Gold (#'d/8)", and the FOTL box page states "Silver NBA Logo FOTL #'d/6", "Silver Draft Logo FOTL #'d/6", "Silver HOF Logo FOTL #'d/6" and "Elegance Rookie Jerseys Autographs FOTL #'d/5"; the remaining 12 International rows carry from-name, taken from the tcdb subset name, because those box pages do not name them. NOTE FOR A LATER PASS: impeccable-bkb-2022-23 G-011 recorded an unfetched lead - an "Asia Tmall Box" SKU - that would have upgraded its Asia rows. The equivalent page WAS fetched this season and is the reason 12 rows are sourced-exclusive rather than the 3 sourced-presence rows 2022-23 managed. • G-012 THE PARENT CHECKLIST OMITS CARD 129, AND FIVE SUBSETS PROVE IT EXISTS. https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/421833/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable?PageIndex=2 renders 101-128 and 130-140 and no 129; this was reproduced by two differently shaped asks on two URLs, the second asking only about 129 and returning "Card number 129 does not appear on this page" with the neighbouring rows 126, 127, 128, 130, 131, 132 listed. The parent's header states Total Cards "139", consistent with the omission. CARD 129 IS Rayan Rupert, Portland Trail Blazers: the base-parallel subsets that span the block render it - sid 461756 (International), 461757 (International Red) and 461758 (International Red and Gold) each state Total Cards "140" and each renders 129 with "AU, MEM, SN88", "AU, MEM, SN8" and "AU, MEM, SN1" respectively - while sids 461754 (Holo Gold, 139) and 461759 (Platinum, 139) omit it and 461755 (Holo Silver, 138) omits both 123 and 129. So the omission is a tcdb data state that varies subset by subset, not a property of the product. card_count for the set is written as 40, triple-sourced: the International tier rows, checklistcenter "Elegance Rookie Jersey Auto - 40 cards" and checklistinsider "Elegance Rookie Jersey Autographs: 40 cards". THE SET'S NAME comes from the aggregators and from the tcdb name of its FOTL parallel (sid 461844, "2023-24 Panini Impeccable - Elegance Rookie Jersey Autographs FOTL", Total Cards "40") - the block itself has no sid. That is BETTER evidence than impeccable-bkb-2022-23 had for the identical structure (its G-012 rested on an aggregator narrative list alone). Card 129 is NOT a base card and does not affect base_set_size. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/421833/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable?PageIndex=2 ; https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/461756/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable-International?PageIndex=2 ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461844/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461755/x ; https://www.checklistcenter.com/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball-card-checklist/ ; https://www.checklistinsider.com/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball
  • G-013 SIX SETS HAVE A TCDB BASE-SUBSET HEADER LOWER THAN BOTH AN AGGREGATOR FIGURE AND TCDB'S OWN PARALLEL SUBSETS OF THE SAME SET, AND THE PATTERN IS SYSTEMATIC RATHER THAN RANDOM (EXTRACTION_SPEC 3.2 - treat as a question, not an answer). Measured: Canvas Creations Signatures base 26, International Red 29, International Red and Gold 30, checklistcenter 30; Extravagance Autographs base 26, International Red 29, International Red and Gold 29, checklistcenter 29; Watercolor Signatures base 31, International Red 36, International Red and Gold 36, checklistcenter 36; Rookie Autographs base 39, International 40, International Red 40, International Red and Gold 40, checklistcenter 40; Indelible Ink base 29, Holo Silver 30, checklistcenter 30; Elegance Rookie Jersey Autographs parent 39, FOTL and International tiers 40, both aggregators 40. IN EVERY CASE THE HIGHER FIGURE IS THE ONE AN AGGREGATOR STATES AND THE ONE TCDB'S OWN INTERNATIONAL TIERS RENDER, so the higher figure is written as the count of distinct cards and the tcdb base-subset shortfall is read as incomplete data entry on the domestic tier. THAT IS A DIFFERENT CALL FROM THE SIBLING SEASON: impeccable-bkb-2022-23 G-013 found the same shape and wrote the tcdb header, because there checklistcenter AGREED with tcdb on 25 of 25 and the shortfall was against RENDERED ROWS rather than against another header. Here the disagreement is header against header inside tcdb itself, which cannot be fetch truncation. A SEPARATE CONTEST NOT RESOLVED THAT WAY: Silver HOF Logo is "15" on the tcdb base subset AND on all three of its parallel subsets (461907, 461908, 461909) while checklistcenter states 20; four tcdb headers agreeing with each other outweighs one aggregator, so 15 is written and the contest is recorded. AN AGGREGATOR THAT CONTRADICTS ITSELF: checklistcenter prints "Illustrious Ink - 14 cards" and separately "Illustrious Ink Holo Silver - 29 cards", so it does not corroborate tcdb's 29 for that set; tcdb only is written. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461834/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461838/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461850/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461853/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461928/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461931/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461895/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461898/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461891/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461893/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461906/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461909/x ; https://www.checklistcenter.com/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball-card-checklist/
  • G-014 A FIGURE THE SIBLING SEASON COULD ONLY TAKE FROM ONE AGGREGATOR IS STRUCTURALLY CONFIRMED THIS SEASON. impeccable-bkb-2022-23 G-014 recorded that cardboardconnection stated "50 cards. Serial numbered #/3." for Gold NBA Logo while tcdb rendered NO serial token on any row of its sid 370070 - only the metal-content string "*1/2 Troy Ounce 14K Gold*" - so the #/3 was single-sourced and structurally unconfirmed. THIS SEASON TCDB RENDERS IT: sid 461856 "2023-24 Panini Impeccable - Gold NBA Logo", Total Cards "50", renders "SN3 1/2 Troy Oz - 14K Gold" on its rows - the serial token and the metal-content string in the same column. The figure is recorded in the set's notes IN WORDS, as EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.2 directs, and NOT in card_count, and no parallel row was invented to hold it. THIS DOES NOT RETROSPECTIVELY VALIDATE THE 2022-23 ROW - it is a different season's set and the figure could have moved - but it removes the structural objection to the shape of the claim. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461856/x ; https://www.checklistcenter.com/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball-card-checklist/
  • G-015 THREE SETS ARE NAMED DIFFERENTLY BY tcdb AND BY checklistcenter, AND set_name FOLLOWS tcdb. (a) tcdb "Impeccable Draft Pick" (sid 461868) against checklistcenter "Impeccable Draft Pink" - an aggregator typo, not a name. (b) tcdb "Impeccable All Time Signatures" (461865) against checklistcenter "Impeccable All-Time Signatures" - a hyphen. (c) checklistcenter systematically abbreviates "Autographs" to "Auto" ("Elegance Retired Jersey Auto", "Stainless Stars Auto", "Rookie Auto", "Impeccable Stats Auto"), which is house style rather than a name change. tcdb is followed because it is the structural source that also supplies the sid every later pass needs, but a resolver fed an aggregator name will miss these. These are NAME divergences on sets whose CONTENTS match, the case EXTRACTION_SPEC 4.4 says card-level checks cannot catch. NOTE: the "Impeccable Draft Pick Number Auto" divergence that impeccable-bkb-2022-23 recorded in its G-015 does NOT recur - checklistcenter prints "Impeccable Draft Pick Auto" this season. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461868/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461865/x ; https://www.checklistcenter.com/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball-card-checklist/
  • G-016 EVERY Asia TIER IN THIS PRODUCT LINE IS RENAMED International THIS SEASON, AT EVERY SCOPE, AND A RESOLVER MATCHING ACROSS SEASONS ON THE TIER NAME WILL MISS ALL OF THEM. tcdb PRINTS the new names: "2023-24 Panini Impeccable - International" (461756), "- International Red" (461757), "- International Red and Gold" (461758), and the set-scope tiers follow - Canvas Creations Signatures International Red, Extravagance Autographs International Red, Rookie Autographs International, Silver Draft Logo International, Silver HOF Logo International, Silver NBA Logo International, Stainless Stars International Red, Watercolor Signatures International Red and their Red and Gold siblings. impeccable-bkb-2022-23 has "Asia", "Asia Red" and "Asia Red and Gold" at base scope and eighteen further Asia rows at set scope; impeccable-bkb-2021-22 has "Asia Red" and "Asia Red & Gold" with an ampersand, composed from an aggregator heading. THE FIGURES MOVED WITH THE NAME on the Silver logo sets: 2022-23 Asia tiers were "SN6", 2023-24 International tiers are "SN8". The commercial name also changed: 2022-23's SKU was an "Asia Tmall Box" and 2023-24's is a "Hobby International Box". The prior rows are left untouched (CLAUDE.md hard prohibition 3); this is recorded so a slug alias can be built rather than either set of rows being renamed. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461756/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461757/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461758/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461898/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461914/x ; https://www.steelcitycollectibles.com/i/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball-hobby-international-box ; https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/421833/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable
  • G-017 THE FETCH LAYER SILENTLY DROPPED THE ANNOTATION COLUMN ON ONE ASK SHAPE AND WOULD HAVE COST THE release's PRINCIPAL VALUE IF TAKEN AT FACE VALUE. Asked for cards 26-50 of https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/421833/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable?PageIndex=1 with the parameter &sort=0 appended, the layer returned card number, player and team for all 25 rows and "NO TOKEN" for every one of them. The SAME PAGE, asked a narrowed question naming the annotation column and listing six card numbers, returned "SN99" for cards 26, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50. The same shape produced the same false negative on cards 71-77. HAD THE FIRST READING BEEN BELIEVED, a quarter of the base run would have been recorded as carrying no serial flag, which is the evidence leg under base_print_run. THE LESSON IS THE SPEC'S OWN: a fetch that omits a column reports the omission as absence, and only a differently shaped re-ask distinguishes them. This is a fresh instance of the defect family impeccable-bkb-2022-23 measured as its G-017 (card-number column returned in place of the annotation column on three subsets). TWO FURTHER INSTANCES THIS PASS: the literal placeholder "TBD" was returned as a card code on the Canvas Creations Signatures Holo Gold and Platinum subsets (quoted here only as evidence of the defect - it is written as a value nowhere in this release, and card-level checklists are out of scope for this pass), and the parent ViewSet page returned "Rating: TBA" as a header statistic. A DEFECT THAT DID NOT RECUR: impeccable-bkb-2022-23 G-025 found tcdb rendering Indelible Ink serials as the bare prefix "SN" with no digits across two URLs; this season all three Indelible Ink tiers rendered complete tokens ("AU, SN10", "AU, SN25"/"AU, SN15", "AU, SN1"), so the 2022-23 state was either a tcdb data problem since corrected or a one-season layer defect. NO GLOSS WAS ACCEPTED IN THIS PASS and only literal token strings were used. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/421833/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable?PageIndex=1 ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461835/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461839/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461892/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461893/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461894/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/421833/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable
  • G-018 SIX SUBSET SIDS EACH SPAN TWO SCOPES, AND SPLITTING THEM IS THE ONLY WAY THE DATA IS TRUE. tcdb gives Holo Gold (461754), Holo Silver (461755), International (461756), International Red (461757), International Red and Gold (461758) and Platinum (461759) headers of "139", "138", "140", "140", "140" and "139": their rows 1-100 are the BASE-SET parallel and their rows 101-140 are the parallel of the Elegance Rookie Jersey Autographs block, which has no sid of its own. THE TOKENS DIFFER ACROSS THE BOUNDARY ON ONE OF THEM, so this is not a cosmetic split: International renders NO token on rows 1-100 and "AU, MEM, SN88" on rows 101-140. Holo Gold ("SN10"/"AU, MEM, SN10"), Holo Silver ("SN25"/"AU, MEM, SN25"), Platinum ("SN1"/"AU, MEM, SN1"), International Red ("SN8"/"AU, MEM, SN8") and International Red and Gold ("SN1"/"AU, MEM, SN1") agree across the boundary. Each sid therefore produces TWO parallels.csv rows with different scope_type. Silver (461761), Gold (461752), Green (461753) and Purple (461760) have headers of "100" and produce base-scope rows only, which is independent confirmation that the 138-140 sids really are carrying the block. A DIVERGENCE FROM THE SIBLING SEASON, DELIBERATE AND EVIDENCE-DRIVEN: impeccable-bkb-2022-23 found its Holo Silver at "SN20" on rows 1-100 and "AU, MEM, SN25" on 101-140 - two different figures from one sid. This season the same tier is "SN25" on both sides. The two rows are still written separately because the scopes are different objects, not because the figures differ. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461754/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461755/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461756/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/461756/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable-International?PageIndex=2 ; https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/461755/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable-Holo-Silver?PageIndex=2 ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461761/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/421833/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable
  • G-019 TWENTY-ONE SET-SCOPE ROWS CARRY print_run=UNKNOWN, TWENTY OF THEM BECAUSE THE TIER IS MIXED PER CARD. tcdb renders more than one serial token across the rows of one subset. Measured, subset by subset: Canvas Creations Signatures Holo Silver "SN25"/"SN15"; Canvas Creations Signatures International Red "SN8"/"SN3"; Elegance Retired Jersey Autographs Holo Gold "SN10"/"SN5"; Elegance Retired Jersey Autographs Holo Silver "SN25"/"SN10"; Elegance Veteran Jersey Autographs Holo Gold "SN10"/"SN5"; Elegance Veteran Jersey Autographs Holo Silver "SN25"/"SN10"; Extravagance Autographs Holo Silver "SN25"/"SN15"; Extravagance Autographs International Red "SN8"/"SN3"; Illustrious Ink Holo Gold "SN10"/"SN5"; Illustrious Ink Holo Silver "SN25"/"SN15"; Immortal Ink Holo Silver "SN25"/"SN15"; Impeccable Honors Signatures Holo Gold "SN10"/"SN5"; Impeccable Honors Signatures Holo Silver "SN25"/"SN15"/"SN10"; Impeccable Stars Signatures Holo Silver "SN25"/"SN15"; Indelible Ink Holo Silver "SN25"/"SN15"; Rookie Autographs International "SN88"/"SN48"; Stainless Stars Autographs Blue "SN75"/"SN49"; Stainless Stars Autographs Purple "SN49"/"SN35"; Watercolor Signatures Holo Silver "SN25"/"SN15"; Watercolor Signatures International Red "SN8"/"SN3". The twenty-first is Stainless Stars International Red, UNKNOWN for a different reason recorded in G-021. THIS IS A FINDING, NOT A COVERAGE HOLE: the mixed-tier structure recurs unchanged from impeccable-bkb-2022-23 (its G-020, 21 rows), impeccable-bkb-2021-22 (its G-002, 20 rows) and impeccable-bkb-2020-21, so it is a stable property of this line. A CEILING IS NOT A PRINT RUN and none was written. DIVERGENCE FROM OLDER CATALOGUE ROWS IS UNCHANGED AND STILL UNREPAIRED: Contenders Ticket Stub 77, Season Ticket Stub 50 and Elite Red/Aspirations/Status 99 wrote the CEILING and said so in their notes; this spec writes UNKNOWN on the same evidence shape, and nothing in either row tells a reader which convention it is under. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461836/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461841/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461848/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461859/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461873/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461898/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461917/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461930/x
  • G-020 THE SCHEMA CANNOT EXPRESS "SERIAL NUMBERED, RUN UNKNOWN" AND THAT IS THE TRUE STATE OF 20 OF THE 21 UNKNOWN ROWS listed in G-019. Every one of those tiers is PROVABLY serial numbered - tcdb prints an SN token on literally every row of those subsets, just not the same one - but the forced pairing of print_run and serial_numbered collapses them to UNKNOWN/UNKNOWN, which is indistinguishable from "we found nothing at all", the exact collapse unknown_semantics.csv exists to prevent. Recorded here because the CSV cannot carry it. THIS HAS NOW RECURRED ON FIVE CONSECUTIVE SEASONS OF ONE LINE: impeccable-bkb-2019-20 G-001 (21 rows), impeccable-bkb-2020-21 G-003 (20 rows), impeccable-bkb-2021-22 G-003 (22 rows), impeccable-bkb-2022-23 G-021 (19 rows) and this release (20 rows) - 102 rows of held fact destroyed by one missing column. A defect that recurs unchanged across five builds of one line is a schema problem, not an agent problem. The remedy EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.3 names - a print_run_basis column, or permitting serial_numbered=yes with print_run=UNKNOWN - is still not implemented, and migrations/003_parallels.sql's comment on the base-scope constraint ("On a base-set parallel it means someone skipped the work") still names one cause as if it were the only one. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461836/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461873/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461917/x
  • G-021 A ROW WHERE THE SAME EVIDENCE SHAPE THAT PRODUCES unnumbered AT BASE SCOPE PRODUCES UNKNOWN INSTEAD, AND THE REASON IS EVIDENCE, NOT CONVENTION. tcdb sid 461924 "2023-24 Panini Impeccable - Stainless Stars International Red" states Total Cards "25" and renders NO serial token on any of its 25 rows - reproduced across two differently shaped asks on two distinct URLs - while rendering one on every row of all five sibling tiers of the same set: Blue "SN49", Gold "SN10", Orange "SN25", Platinum "SN1", International Red and Gold "SN8". That is exactly the pattern that made impeccable-bkb-2022-23 write unnumbered on its Stainless Stars Asia Red (its G-023). IT IS NOT FOLLOWED HERE BECAUSE A SOURCE MAY STATE A COMPETING FIGURE: steelcitycollectibles writes "International-exclusive Stainless Stars parallels International Red and International Red and Gold (#'d/8)", and it is genuinely ambiguous whether the parenthetical attaches to both named tiers or only to the second. If it attaches to both, unnumbered is positively FALSE. That is the situation impeccable-bkb-2021-22 faced on the identical tier (its G-027, cardboardconnection "Asia Red #/18") and it wrote UNKNOWN with value_contested=yes; this release matches 2021-22 rather than 2022-23, and the three releases now hold three readings of one recurring tier. THE SAME ONE-STEP-ACROSS ANOMALY 2022-23 RECORDED RECURS UNCHANGED AND IS NOT NORMALISED AWAY: this set's "International Red and Gold" renders "SN8" where every other Red and Gold tier in the release renders "SN1", and its "International Red" renders nothing where every other Red tier renders "SN8". The tokens are written exactly as tcdb renders them and no correction is applied. TO RESOLVE: a marketplace card of an unsigned Stainless Stars International Red or International Red and Gold showing its serial, or an unambiguous source statement. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461924/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461925/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461922/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461927/x ; https://www.steelcitycollectibles.com/i/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball-hobby-international-box
  • G-022 NO PACK ODDS FOUND for any set in this release. Neither checklistcenter nor checklistinsider publishes stated odds for 2023-24 Impeccable, tcdb does not carry odds, cardboardconnection has no page for this product at all (G-007), and beckett is unreachable (its news URL 302s to beckett-maintenance-page.s3.amazonaws.com, exactly as EXTRACTION_SPEC 5.4 records). Every stated_odds, odds_evidence_url and odds_evidence_quote is therefore empty on all sets.csv rows and all 82 parallels.csv rows, and every scarcity_tier is empty rather than guessed. The only product-level configuration statements found are "9 Cards Per Pack; 1 Pack Per Box; 3 Boxes Per Case", "FOTL boxes have 10 cards", "Hobby International boxes contain 5 cards per pack", and from the steelcitycollectibles International box "2 On-Card Autographs, 1 Silver Logo or Stainless Stars (non-auto) Insert, and 2 Base/Base Parallels". No season of this line has ever yielded odds - impeccable-bkb-2022-23 G-026, impeccable-bkb-2021-22 G-018, and the two before them. Evidence: https://www.checklistcenter.com/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball-card-checklist/ ; https://www.checklistinsider.com/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball ; https://www.steelcitycollectibles.com/i/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball-hobby-international-box
  • G-023 FIFTY-TWO PARALLEL SUBSETS OF THE PRIOR-SEASON AND CROSS-PRODUCT BLOCKS ARE NOT WRITTEN, DELIBERATELY, AND ARE ENUMERATED HERE SO A LATER PASS CAN DO THEM IN ONE SHOT. tcdb gives these blocks their own Holo Gold, Holo Silver, Platinum and (where applicable) Asia Red / Asia Red and Gold subsets under this parent, at sids 461763-461764 (Award-Winning Autographs Gold, Gold Vinyl), 461766-461767 (Spectra Hall of Fame Signatures Gold, Gold Vinyl), 461769-461771, 461773-461775, 461777-461779, 461781-461783, 461785-461787, 461789-461791, 461793-461797, 461799-461801, 461803-461805, 461807-461811, 461813-461815, 461819-461821, 461823-461825 and 461827-461831. Their existence is fully evidenced by Inserts.cfm; their print runs were NOT probed. They are omitted rather than written UNKNOWN because their scope is a prior-season or cross-product set, matching the convention impeccable-bkb-2022-23 applied to its own twenty-seven (its G-027), impeccable-bkb-2021-22 to its seventeen and impeccable-bkb-2020-21 to its own. THIS IS A KNOWN COVERAGE BOUNDARY, NOT AN OVERSIGHT: writing them costs 52 ViewSet.cfm fetches and would yield real integers, since every Platinum subset in this release that could be read renders "SN1" uniformly. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/421833/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable
  • G-024 CHANNEL CONVENTION DIVERGENCE AGAINST THE 2019-20 SIBLING, UNCHANGED FOR A FIFTH SEASON, AND THIS TIME THE FOTL ROWS ARE ACTUALLY SOURCED. This release files its four FOTL parallels (Silver Draft Logo FOTL, Silver HOF Logo FOTL, Silver NBA Logo FOTL, Elegance Rookie Jersey Autographs FOTL) as channel=FOTL with channel_class=promotion by the EXTRACTION_SPEC 2.3 derived map, channel_sku=FOTL and channel_basis=sourced-exclusive - the basis is sourced rather than from-name because steelcitycollectibles' FOTL box page names all four as FOTL exclusives with their print runs. impeccable-bkb-2019-20 files its own FOTL row as channel=hobby, channel_class=box-type, channel_sku=FOTL. FOTL is an explicit enum value in the spec and "hobby" is exactly the near-miss the spec warns against, so this release follows the spec, as impeccable-bkb-2020-21 (its G-014), impeccable-bkb-2021-22 (its G-014) and impeccable-bkb-2022-23 (its G-024) already did. The 2019-20 row is left untouched and the divergence is re-recorded because it is still unrepaired: one line now answers "what channel is FOTL?" two different ways across five seasons, and four of the five agree. • G-025 THE TASK PROMPT'S PREMISE THAT 2023-24 IS THIS LINE'S LAST BASKETBALL SEASON IS NOT SUPPORTED BY WHAT WAS FOUND, AND THERE IS POSITIVE EVIDENCE AGAINST IT. AGAINST THE PREMISE: (1) steelcitycollectibles lists "2025 Panini Impeccable WNBA Basketball Hobby Box" with a release date of 12/23/25 and describes it as "the first time with WNBA" that Impeccable has been released - so Panini Impeccable BASKETBALL continued after 2023-24, as a WNBA product. (2) midwestcards lists "2024/25 Panini Impeccable Basketball Hobby Box" with "Release Date: 2025-10-18", currently Out of Stock, configuration "Cards per pack: TBD" and "Packs per box: TBD", and a summary saying "The expected release date for Panini Impeccable Basketball Hobby is September of 2025". FOR THE PREMISE: (3) waxstat's 2024-25 basketball release calendar lists Donruss, Hoops, Prizm, Court Kings, Mosaic and National Treasures and does NOT list Impeccable. (4) checklistinsider, which carries a page for every prior Impeccable basketball season including this one, returns HTTP 404 for checklistinsider.com/2024-25-panini-impeccable-basketball. (5) tcdb's ViewAll for Basketball 2023 returned exactly one Impeccable product and no 2024-25 Impeccable was found - but the task briefing is right that tcdb's cataloguing lags badly for 2024-25 and 2025-26, so that silence is NOT evidence and is not counted. HOW STRONG IS THIS: WEAK IN BOTH DIRECTIONS AND ASYMMETRIC. Item (1) is a dated retailer product page for a shipped SKU and is the single strongest fact here; it establishes that "Impeccable Basketball" as a brand did not end, though a WNBA product is arguably a different line. Item (2) is a dealer pre-order listing with TBD configuration, which is the weakest kind of evidence for existence - such listings are routinely created from a manufacturer calendar and later cancelled. Items (3) and (4) are absences from editorial sources, which is exactly the kind of silence EXTRACTION_SPEC 0 says is not a statement of fact. NOTHING IN THIS RELEASE'S DATA DEPENDS ON THE ANSWER; no value was written or withheld because of it. THE HONEST SUMMARY: an NBA 2024-25 Panini Impeccable is unresolved, and the claim that 2023-24 is the last Impeccable BASKETBALL season is refuted by the 2025 WNBA product. Evidence: https://www.steelcitycollectibles.com/i/2025-panini-impeccable-wnba-basketball-hobby-box ; https://www.midwestcards.com/shop/basketball-cards/2024-25-panini-impeccable-basketball-hobby-box/ ; https://www.waxstat.com/2024-25-basketball-cards-release-calendar ; https://www.checklistinsider.com/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewAll.cfm/sp/Basketball/year/2023
  • G-026 NINE SETS HAVE NO TCDB CHECKLIST AT ALL AND THEIR card_count IS SINGLE-SOURCED TO checklistcenter. tcdb catalogues each of them with a sid but renders "The checklist for this set is not yet available" and no Total Cards value: Impeccable All Time Signatures (461865), Impeccable Championship Signatures (461867), Impeccable Draft Pick Autographs (461869), Impeccable Game Day Logoman (461870), Impeccable Jersey Number Autographs (461876), Impeccable Rookie Logoman (461878), Impeccable Rookie Seasons Signatures (461880), Impeccable Stats Autographs (461890) and Silver NBA Logo Autographs FOTL (461911). Their counts (1, 9, 29, 35, 20, 25, 19, 20 and 15) come from checklistcenter alone and are marked single-source in the set notes. NO PRINT RUN IS WRITTEN FOR ANY OF THEM except Silver NBA Logo Autographs FOTL, whose "#'d/5" is stated in words by steelcitycollectibles and is recorded in the set's notes rather than in card_count. THIS IS A REAL COVERAGE STATE, NOT A FETCH FAILURE: the pages render, they simply carry no checklist. The parent's overall image completion reads "2.9% of images added", which is consistent with a recently catalogued set. TO RESOLVE: re-fetch these nine sids after tcdb data entry catches up. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461865/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461869/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461870/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461880/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461911/x ; https://www.checklistcenter.com/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball-card-checklist/ ; https://www.steelcitycollectibles.com/i/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball-hobby-box---1st-off-the-line-(fotl) ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/421833/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable
  • G-027 ONE SET'S CLASSIFICATION AS A SET RATHER THAN A PARALLEL IS GENUINELY AMBIGUOUS AND THE CALL IS RECORDED RATHER THAN HIDDEN. tcdb sid 461845 "2023-24 Panini Impeccable - Elegance Rookie Logoman Autographs", Total Cards "39", numbers its cards 101-140 on exactly the same scheme as the Elegance Rookie Jersey Autographs block and renders "AU, MEM, SN1" on every row. IT COULD BE READ AS A 1/1 LOGOMAN PARALLEL OF THAT BLOCK. It is filed as a SET because (a) tcdb gives it a distinct name in a different card family rather than a colour suffix, (b) this product carries two other Logoman sets - Impeccable Rookie Logoman and Impeccable Game Day Logoman - so a standalone Logoman set is a normal object in this release, and (c) a Logoman card is a different physical card (the NBA Logoman patch) from a jersey swatch. AGAINST: its numbering is the block's, not its own, and neither aggregator lists it. CONTRAST WITH THE ROW THAT WAS FILED AS A PARALLEL: "Elegance Rookie Jersey Autographs FOTL" (461844) carries the block's own set name plus a channel suffix and is written as a parallel. If a later pass reverses this, the change is one row moved from sets.csv to parallels.csv with scope "Elegance Rookie Jersey Autographs" and print_run 1. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461845/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461844/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461878/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461870/x ; https://www.checklistcenter.com/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball-card-checklist/
  • G-028 RELEASE DATE CONTESTED 2-1 AND THE MAJORITY IS WRITTEN. tcdb's parent page states "Release Date: September 18, 2024" and checklistinsider states "September 18, 2024"; checklistcenter states "Release Date: September 13, 2024". 2024-09-18 is written. The two agreeing sources are a structural source and an aggregator, so they are not the same opinion counted twice. NOTE THE ODDITY, NOT RESOLVED: a 2023-24-dated NBA product releasing in September 2024 is late even for this line, whose 2022-23 edition released 2023-05-31 and whose 2021-22 edition released 2022-05-25 - a four-month slip on an already-late line. No source explains it and none was asked to. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/421833/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable ; https://www.checklistinsider.com/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball ; https://www.checklistcenter.com/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball-card-checklist/
  • G-029 FETCH-COST AND FETCH-LAYER BEHAVIOUR RE-MEASURED, WITH THREE FINDINGS THE SPEC DOES NOT YET CARRY. (1) Inserts.cfm ON THIS PARENT TRUNCATES BEFORE THE "Parallel Sets" HEADING, exactly as EXTRACTION_SPEC 3.2 warns for large parents: it rendered the heading "Insert Sets (172)" and 158 of the 172 entries, and a second fetch with ?sort=0 named a "Parallel Sets" heading but delivered none of its entries. The ten base parallels were therefore found by ViewSet.cfm sid enumeration with BOTH boundaries proved (461751 and 461762/461934 are other products), and the missing 14 insert entries by probing 461920-461933 directly. The recovered total is 158 + 14 = 172, which matches the header - a rare case where a tcdb header is corroborated rather than contradicted. (2) THE SHAPE OF THE ASK, CONFIRMING TWO PRIOR SEASONS: every checklist ask in this pass ENUMERATED its card numbers and asked for one line per card, and NONE was refused. Checklist.cfm?PageIndex=1 delivered cards 1-76 complete plus a partial row 77 across four bounded asks; rows 77-100 were recovered from Gallery.cfm?PageIndex=8-10, and the 71-77 overlap matched the Checklist rows exactly (71 Brandon Ingram, 72 Jrue Holiday, 73 Fred VanVleet, 74 Jordan Poole, 75 Stephen Curry, 76 Lauri Markkanen, 77 Zach LaVine). Gallery pagination is 10/page and mapped cleanly: PageIndex 8, 9 and 10 returned exactly cards 71-80, 81-90 and 91-100, ten tiles each, with no dropped tile. (3) A COUNT PRODUCED BY THE LAYER WAS NEVER USED: where a response stated a tally, the enumerated items were counted independently, and the one case where a page-level claim mattered ("Highest card number appearing on this page: 140") was re-verified by enumerating 121-140 individually, which is how the missing card 129 was found. TOTAL MEASURED COST OF THIS PASS: about 105 fetches - 10 for the parent structure and base run, 2 for Inserts.cfm, 11 for the base parallel sids and their boundaries, 6 for block-scope parallel rows, 65 for set counts and set-scope parallel subsets, 18 for the prior-season blocks, and the remainder for aggregators, retailer pages and search. The per-set cost EXTRACTION_SPEC 3.2 warns about is real and dominant: Inserts.cfm carries no card-count column, so every count is its own fetch. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/Inserts.cfm/sid/421833/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable ; https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/421833/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable?PageIndex=1 ; https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/421833/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable?PageIndex=2 ; https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/421833/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable?PageIndex=8 ; https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/421833/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable?PageIndex=9 ; https://www.tcdb.com/Gallery.cfm/sid/421833/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable?PageIndex=10 ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461751/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461934/x
  • G-030 BRAND IDENTITY CHECKED AND NOT CHANGED. tcdb renders the product as "2023-24 Panini Impeccable"; checklistcenter's page is titled "2023-24 Panini Impeccable - Basketball Card Checklist" and checklistinsider's "2023-24 Panini Impeccable Basketball"; the retailer SKUs read "2023-24 Panini Impeccable Basketball Hobby Box". With the season prefix removed this is "Panini Impeccable Basketball", exactly what reference/brands.csv carries for line_prefix impeccable (brd_01M2B8M6BJKF4BVCZ1A77FRZ26, Impeccable, impeccable, Panini Impeccable Basketball, basketball, Panini). No divergence, and no new brand row is implied. Recorded because EXTRACTION_SPEC 7.2 asks for this to be stated even when it matches. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/421833/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable ; https://www.checklistcenter.com/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball-card-checklist/ ; https://www.checklistinsider.com/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball ; https://www.steelcitycollectibles.com/i/2023-24-panini-impeccable-basketball-hobby-international-box
  • G-031 NO VARIATION SET EXISTS. Errors.cfm on the parent sid returns "No errors or variations have been added for this set yet.", so no variation or error rows are written and none were inferred. This matches impeccable-bkb-2022-23, which got the identical string. Recorded so a later pass knows the endpoint was checked rather than skipped. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/Errors.cfm/sid/421833/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable [CORRECTED 2026-09-20: THE Errors.cfm SENTENCE QUOTED ABOVE IS NOT EVIDENCE AND THE CONCLUSION DRAWN FROM IT DOES NOT HOLD. Measured 2026-09-20 on tcdb sid 182809: Errors.cfm returns that identical sentence for a set whose own renderings carry UER on at least two cards (card 260 Mo Bamba, "UER: Statline says Undrafted, was actually drafted 6th", confirmed under &sort=0; card 67 Justin Jackson, "Career stat line is that of Kosta Koufos"). The endpoint returns the same string on a set that provably HAS errata and on one that appears not to, so it discriminates nothing and its silence is uninformative. WHAT SURVIVES: any claim here about base_set_size, about the base run being contiguous, or about no numbered block sitting past the base run, because those rest on the independent contiguous enumeration also cited in this note - the last rendered Gallery page, the empty page after it, and the per-row flag column. WHAT DOES NOT SURVIVE: the narrower claim that NO VARIATION SET EXISTS. A variation set renders as b-suffixed rows (101a/101b) that a base-run enumeration is not designed to surface, and Errors.cfm was the documented route to it, so that claim is now unsupported rather than disproved - it may still be true. Not re-fetched; recorded so it is not read as settled. See reference/caveats.csv CAV-020.]
  • G-032 NO BASE-SET-SCOPE PARALLEL CARRIES print_run=UNKNOWN, AND NO ROW WAS WRITTEN unnumbered TO DODGE THAT CONSTRAINT. All ten base-scope rows carry a value supported by a per-row tcdb token or, for International, by the within-sid discriminative test in G-006. The constraint migrations/003_parallels.sql enforces was therefore never in tension with the evidence this season - unlike 2020-21 and 2021-22, which lost their base Asia rows entirely to it. Recorded so the next pass on this line can see that the seasons divide by what tcdb catalogued, not by how each agent read the rule: 2019-20 and 2022-23 and 2023-24 had base-parallel sids and could probe the tier itself; 2020-21 and 2021-22 did not and could only probe an analogue. Evidence: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461756/x ; https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/461756/2023-24-Panini-Impeccable-International?PageIndex=1 ; https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/461752/x
